This mod replaces the voice overs used for Nikto, Aqualish, and Quarren NPCs in KOTOR. In KOTOR I, Nikto, Aqualish, and Quarren NPCs use the same VOs intended for Twi'leks, Ithorians, Rodians, and Bith. Because KOTOR II adds in VOs specific to these species, I figured hey, why not incorporate them back into the original game? I've included compatibility patches for the Queedle Fix, KOTOR 1 Community Patch (which includes the Queedle Fix), K1 NPC Overhaul, and KOTOR 1 Restoration. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, run Installer.exe and select the first option to install the main mod. Then, run the installer again for any of the compatibility patches you may need. It doesn't matter which order you install compatibility patches in. You must have installed the other mods beforehand. To uninstall this mod, delete the files from your game's modules, override, and streamwaves folders (I've included a list of them in the readme.txt). If necessary, restore files from "backup" into your game's directory. Compatibility Compatibility patches have been added for the mods already mentioned due to their common usage. The K1 Restoration Mod has a Nikto NPC in the Vulkar Base sublevel with Basic (English) VOs. I decided to leave this unaltered as to not interfere with the restored content. Known Issues Some of the Nikto VOs don't have perfectly matching mouth animations, which is because KOTOR II has some missing .LIP files. The placeholders I'm using are as close as I could find. These may be replaced in a later version. Redros's mouth doesn't move for a couple of lines of dialogue. This bug happens regardless of this mod and only if his appearance is Nikto, so I felt it's a bug beyond this mod's scope. Please let me know of any other issues you find, or if you come across anything I missed! Credits Fred Tetra, Kotor Tool Fair Strides, KotOR Toolset tk102, DLG Editor & K-GFF Editor Thanks to the KOTOR community for keeping these games alive. Disclaimer This mod is not supported by LucasArts, BioWare, or Obsidian Entertainment. It is for personal usage only and intends no copyright infringement. As this mod ports files from KOTOR II to KOTOR I, it's intended for players who already own both games. I do not claim ownership of these ported files. Contact me on DeadlyStream or via Discord (listed on my DS profile) if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or the like. If you want to use this mod as a part of an external work, you must recieve my permission. This mod should only be found on Deadly Stream, no user may upload it to another modding site. If you just want to use the included .WAV or .LIP files, you're better off extracting them yourself. Not only are they not my property, some of them are renamed duplicates or have been modified otherwise.

Name: [K1] Yavin IV Planet Mod Author: MotOR Squad + Master Zionosis Translator: ĐeceptiKain TSLPatcher: EGJason Date: 05/03/08 E-Mail: masterzionosis@hotmail.co.uk Contents: 1 Description 2 Installation 3 Uninstallation 4 Future Releases 5 Bugs 6 Adknowledgements 7 Permissions 8 Website 9 Spoilers -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Description --------------- This mod will add an entire new planet to KotOR I, Yavin IV. They're are 10 new modules in total and a great new storyline. 2 Installation ----------------- Simply run the new installer. If you also want the MotOR Yavin launcher copy the Launcher folder to your KotOR directory. 3 Uninstallation ----------------- Just remove all these files from the relevent folders in your K1 directory. 4 Future Releases -------------------- -Voice Overs for non alien species Of course if there is any bugs or errors these will be assessed as well. 5 Bugs ------ None that i know of, if you find any PM me at Holowan Labs please. There is, however, the issues that crop up with other mods installed, most notably with Brotherhood Of Shadow. This patcher version may correct some issues with that, but probably not all. I reccomend that you install Yavin IV first, then Brotherhood Of Shadow. 6 Adknowledgements ------------------ A massive thanks to the original creators of the Yavin mod (MotOR) and allowing me to translate the mod. A boatload of thanks to Fred Tetra for creating the awesome and simple to use kotor editing tool. Also thank you ĐeceptiKain for your excellent work on the translations, without you this wouldn't have happened. And a very appreciative thanks to the many friendly and informative people at the Lucasforums Holowan Laboratories board who have shown and or helped me to learn how to do stuff like this. And another thank you to EGJason who got the mod to TSLPatcher state. 7 Permissions ------------------- This mod may only be used/modified with my consent. 8 Website ------------------- Visit my website to see what other mods I have created and what I will be doing in the future. http://masterzionosiskotorsite.com 9 Spoilers ------------------- There are quite a few puzzles, riddles and secrets in the mod, many that made me even think that the mod was 'broken', well I have play tested the entire mod and after going through the messy process of decompiling certain scripts I found out that the mod does work properly. To complete certain things you will have to concentrate considerably on what you have recently done or aquired. If you do get completely stuck consult this table below -The door that does not open in Exar Kun's Tomb in the Chamber Of Spirits is actually a mirage, you can walk through it after you have aquired the crystal of darkness. -The most tricky part of the mod is the door puzzle, it is completeable but quite tricky to get your head round, it took me about 30 mins to figure it out, so if you figure it out straight away then maybe I'm just stupid. But here is the combination if you get stuck: Open door 5, then open door 3, kill the spirits, then go back and open door 4, then door 1 will be open. These are the only tricky parts I can remember, if you find any more don't hesitate to ask in the project thread at Lucasforums.
  5. [Updated: April 26, 2020] Greetings, fellow Jedi! Hope you all doing fine. This will be an archive-thread-miniwiki to accommodate my curiousness in some aspects from either KotOR/TSL; either with placeables, textures , models, anything- which is too valuable to lost for just a status update but is too exclusive for each of them to have a single thread, in my perspective. I have archived some past random questions with its essential responses, should their information would be useful and will be easy enough to have access to: [August 14, 2018] PlasticCrate_cylinder [August 16, 2018] LTS_Rwall01 [August 19, 2018] PLC_Statue2 [August 24, 2018] Taris' Upper City Cantina Entrance Wall Panel [August 28, 2018] Taris' Upper City South Fountains [M02ac_02b_02e] [August 30, 2018] Ebon Hawk's Unique Cubemaps [CM_eh] [September 12, 2018] Locate Area Model [September 12, 2018] Sith Soldier Bump Map Restoration [September 17, 2018] Bump-map Breaks Level Geometry Animation? [December 10, 2018] Jedi Enclave's "Unused" Bump-map [November 08, 2019] Trigger's ScriptOnEnter x GetEnteringObject [November 24, 2019] ActionJumpToLocation >= ActionJumpToObject [December 08, 2019] Rakatan "SWAG" Idle Animation VS ANIMATION_LOOPING_TALK_NORMAL [December 11, 2019] [Success] VS [Failure] [December 14, 2019] GetNearestCreature > GetPartyMemberByIndex [April 26, 2020] TSL's Hologram ____________________________________________ That was some questions-responses that I thought would need a proper archiving should they delivered any useful information for future modding attempt. Also, I'm taking this opportunity to ask to the forums too. Will it be possible to change that grey area in the center of Taris' city-walk to some kind of a mini-pool with water model/textures in it? One example in mind that could be used as a reference is this mini-pool inside Davik's estate: Many thanks for considering this!
  6. After 86 hours-10 minutes of accumulative game time, 952 saves in a span of year and a half, I finally - legitimately - finished my Darkside K1 playthrough -- [!Spoiler Alert!] I've got mixed feelings about it, lol. I feel awesome, proud, crazy - all things 'bout, as this was the first time I finished the game legitimately; without skipping any of the dialogues, doing most of the side-quests and also - do most of the walking! Yeah, if not because ZimmMaster's Movement Animation Fix for both KOTOR and TSL I'd definitely not doing that, lol. So many mods from fellow modders I have used with the playthrough -- namely DarthParametric's, JCarter426's, Sithspecter's, Kexikus', Dark Hope's, xander2077's, VarsityPuppet's, Sith Holocron's, Inyri Forge's, jc2's, and I'm sure pretty much everyone I have used theirs -or at the very least, tested- on my end. I have to thanked them a lot for their awesome work which I learned along from as I did the playthrough. And If you're interested on seeing some of them in action while also following the journey you can take a look here at The Playthrough gallery. And not to forget I had to thanked the modding tools authors, namely Fred Tetra, TK102, stoffe, bead-v, ndix UR, Fair Strides, and anyone that is not mentioned - I am grateful to you all. So, what I've been waiting for all this time - as the next step will be playing TSL [legit for the first time - as earlier runs was me just running around the module and mod their stuffs], and if things went well then I will take a break this week to contemplate on what mods I will use with the playthrough - aside of TSLRCM and K2CP that comes in mind firstly. But I'd surely take different approach in how I will play it compares to K1. With previous K1-playthrough everytime I saw something that I don't like [or broken] I tend to go and fix them. Now I will enjoy TSL as-TSLRCM-K2CP-is and mind about my nitpick later. I think that pretty much sums it - and above all that I'll have to thanked The Almighty Force - which gave me chance to finish the playthrough, and both BioWare & LucasArts for developing one of -if not- the best RPG I've ever played. The game's awesome, many ups-and-downs - I like how I can blend with the main character and feels like I'm them. Granted, some of the player's response wasn't the best in the world but I am passionate on how the game was paced. All said and done - many thanks to you that have been reading this, and may the Force serve you well! -eb P.S. also on this break I will take a chance to review some of the mods I have used and do things that I should have done back then, lol [mod updates, patch-requests etc.]

This mod overhauls the appearance and attributes of Rakghoul Fiend; an alpha ghoul found in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers which seem was intended to have an unique demeanor with them. # Background # When facing the Rakghouls in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers, I noticed that few of the raks named as Rakghoul Fiend but I saw nothing unique about them. Well, thought that they need an unique demeanor with them; hence the fruits of labor then. # About this Mod # This modification makes unique appearance for the Rakghoul Fiends [complete with their own unique sound-sets] found in the Undercity and the Lower Sewers, and also bump their attributes by an reasonable imbalance amount. Well, I didn't include a vanilla patch - guess you'll have to deal with them, luls. One aspects of uniqueness from them is they had their body upscaled for ~+20% with different looks compared to the generic ones. Few elements of this v1.0 skin; like the red eye - was inspired from Trex's "The Jedi Masters" Rakghoul, nuff-said - credits to Trex for make it happened. # Final Remarks # There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe] then hit the [Install Mod ->] button! Uninstallation: replace the installed files with what was stored inside the generated 'Backup' folder. Particularly tar_m04aa.mod and tar_m05aa.mod; put these files to the 'modules' folder manually and overwrite when prompted. Also, by keeping the installog after the installation will help you to track which files goes to where. Compatibility: will be compatible with mostly anything - only make sure to install this mod after every mods has. Though haven't being tested with Kainzorus Prime's "[KotOR] NPC Overhaul Mod" and N-DReW25's "K1 Gameplay Improvement" installed, presumably they'll be compatible. But be advised that compatibility issue of this mod working along with them is not yet confirmed. Will not be compatible with any mods that force-overrides tar_m04aa.mod and tar_m05aa.mod or messing with this mod 2DA entries. For this mod to be effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Undercity [tar_m04aa] and the Lower Sewers [tar_m05aa] module The mod is play-tested with KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and K1:Community Patch/K1CP installed and is compatible with them Redistribution: for this particular full-version, I'm asking you not to redistribute them - I'd like to stay in touch with so I know where to provide supports. With initial release which is v0.8; I grant permission to redistribute them with usual policy applies. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up to, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to give credits to BioWare & LucasArts with the release - particularly with the inclusion of the assets. An appreciation to this lil' peasant here is also a very warm welcome, welcome. Credits: The Almighty Force which gave me chance to finish the mod LucasArts and BioWare for developing one of the best RPGs I've ever played! 9. [Updated: December 16, 2019] # 00. Disclaimer # I thought making this Legends overhaul as a series would do good for my own pace in modding terms. # 01. Background # Legends. Why does this project called one? First of all, this series had not related at all with the Star Wars Legends; though it was very much inspired by them. It was called as one because I believe this would give me more freedom on how I wanted to shape the mod and its series. Referencing to the general term of Legend [Keep it noted that I have the following explanation edited for my likings, lol] - So, that's all for the introduction. And with the release of Selven and Lyn Sekla, I decided to put myself into a series of mod that will be called as Legends, and this will consists mostly on reskinning and re-building stats and also their attribution of the particular objects and if possible; some new custom items. These will be done as my playthrough goes while I decide which elements that I want to overhaul, while also considering the risk for it'd be game breaking or no. I'm going to take which path with the lesser risk, and which is more interesting for me. # 02. Planning # 1. This mod replace the default voice-over used by the Elder Droids with the Legends rendition. # Background # It was one fine evening when I take a walk inside the Elder's Settlement. I wonder how them droids sounds like, and then... why do they sounded like T3? So I wanted to experience something else, then I remember back in the Ancient Ruins of Dantooine there was a similar droid there that has something different with it. Apparently it was speaking Rakatan's language that the PC did not recognized. I decided that I had to incorporate that with the droid then, hence the making of this mod. # About this Mod # This mod replace the default voice-over used by the Elder Droids with the Legends rendition. The sound was made using an inverted Rakatan's voice-over with added droid-like filters on top of it. By concept it gave an idea that the droids were speaking an epitome of language that the PC did not understand [in Bastila's voice], resulting in addition of changing the spoken line of the droids. It also changes the bubble-bark conversation to a cinematic one. For a distinctive look at what the mod does, here is the preview - # Final Remarks # There's always room for improvements; critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated. PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: run the installer and choose INSTALL option, then hit the [Install Mod ->] button! Uninstallation: Choose the UNINSTALL option in the installation menu Additionally you may want to remove eb_elderdrd_ANGM.wav from the streamwaves folder Compatibility: For maximum compatibility, install this mod at the latter stage of your mod's build Will not be compatible with any mods that hard-overwrite the Elder Settlement/unk_m42aa module Pay attention to the patcher's warning messages upon installing the mod. If it tells you that it found an instance of k_hdroid1_dialog.dlg and unk42_elddroidXYZ.utc in the Override folder, then there might be a compatibility issue indeed For this mod to be fully effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Elder Settlement [unk_m42aa] module The mod is play-tested with the latest version of KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and is compatible with it. At the other hand, it was only by far tested with K1:Community Patch/K1CP v1.7, though assets-wise, there's nothing to be conflicted with the 1.8 version Redistribution: do not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites. I'd love to provide direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered in the Unknown Regions. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included. SHANILIA - THE Grey Jedi Merchant Includes TSLPATCHER installer! The mod includes new items, a new character, new dialogues options on Manaan. Shanilia is designed to be immersive and keep pace with the canon of that you create in kotor! She reacts to your decisions, she reacts to your alignment, she reacts to your gender. Shanilia isn’t a flat character with one emotion! She was written by two different writers to keep the flavor of realism! Content includes: New Robes, datapads with background information on Shanilia, a Jedi Holocron, and a few weapons! K1R compatible! INSTALL: Unzip, and run tslpatcher. Manual install, see readme. 1.6aa Removes K1R incompatible files, which are all the files that make up Resisting Arrest -DS Manaan. Simple remove "man26_selambush.dlg" from your override (If you have K1R installed) and that will prevent and/or fix the bug. To be safe, you can remove all the files associated with that Resisting Arrest. For K1R compatiblity, install K1R, then Shanilia, then K1R compatible files located in Shanilia. Ignore if you do not have K1R. Non-vital files: pcexile.dlg : man26_tyvark.dlg : kor39_utharwynn.dlg The intention of pcexile.dlg file was to allow the PC to remain on Manaan after DS completion of Manaan, this is already possible in the vanilla game, however, this was included as a more simple and obvious solution. It is an optional install, if it causes problems there is no need to install this mod's version of pcexile.dlg man26_tyvark.dlg, merely adds some merchant related dialogue. (minimal content) kor39_utharwynn.dlg, adds an option, which can later be discussed with Shanilia, if and only if the PC goes to Korriban after the Leviathan. (minimal content) These files do add to the mod, but if you are worried about incompatibilities, now you'll be a bit more informed about my mod. Please See Readme for information on how to get the most out of Shanilia! Short Credits list: FairStrides, Bead-v, nato, RealRece, Bioware!

[K1] Temple Main Floor - Missing Lamps Fix Lights are always nice in a dark places. Though it'd be nicer to know where it came from... What Happened? Inside the Temple Main Floor, there are rooms with source of lights that comes from nowhere. I was terrified... thought at first they're missing the GIT reference for the placeables, appears they're not, as they're not placeables. With second thought, perhaps they're missing their render flag? Again, no lamp meshes with the room model as pointed by DarthParametric. Apparently, they are missing their lamps which caused by missing references for the objects. In essence, the lamp is not part of the room model nor a placeable, instead a reference model called by the room's. What Does This Mod Do? This mod adds the missing reference for the lamps to four of the rooms inside the Temple Main Floor module. Optionally, it can also readjust the facing point of two Rune Covered Pillars inside one of the room, which I think could improve the aesthetics and immersion that's missing from the original setup. Here's a before-and-after screenshots of what this mod mainly does - And the optional that readjust the pillars' facing point - What Can You Do? There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and using this mod. What You Should Do? For best experience with the game itself, I suggest you to have KOTOR 1 Community Patch installed. 20. Version 1.1

    1,143 downloads

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 19.03.2017 Release Date 1.1: 7.09.2017 Installation: Double Click the TSLPatcher.exe and let it do its magic Uninstallation: Remove or Delete all the files with the "e_imp1_01.uti" all the way to "e_imp4_10.uti" (There are at least 30 of those so they aren't listed here) When the TSLPatcher installs the mod correctly it generates a backups folder within the Implant Feat Restoration folder that contains the TSLPatcher. Open the backups folder and copy the "baseitems.2da" and "feat.2da" to the override folder overriding the Implant Feat Restoration files If you have any problems be sure to contact me for support Description: Kotor 2 is known for a ton of cut content. The TSLRCM restores most of that content but there were some they left behind due to it being not restorable or not necessary. However if you have sharp eyes you might notice the Implant Feat is unavailable. This is likely intentional by Obsidian as the Implants in game require a certain level of constitution in order to use them. This is all well and good until you realize you will have to abandon other stats completely for constitution in order to get good implants. This mod changes it so that you now require a certain implant feat to wear certain implants. There are three tiers of implants so 3 to 5 level ups should be enough to get max implants whereas before you'd need at least 6 to 11 to get max implants Currently, only Hanhar and Mira have the feats. If you want your main character to have the feats you must give it to them on the level up screen (Since you cannot play as a scout you cannot get implants for free) Also, ALL implants will require this new feat instead of the constitution. This means there is a low chance of an NPC having no implant since it doesn't have the new feat and cannot use it's implant. This is mostly a good thing as it will make the enemy slightly easier Known Bugs: this mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: The TSLPatcher will make it compatible with nearly any mod...but if you do find an incompatible mod please alert me so I can put it in the readme Incompatible with Sireyn's Kotor 2 Implant Rebalance Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use it in your own mods without my permission Thanks: Bioware for such an amazing game, Stoffee for TSLPatcher, Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool, Fair Strides for helping me get the Feat to appear on the character creation screen and everyone who downloads the mod. Legal: THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT, LUCASARTS, DISNEY OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. USE OF THIS FILE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND THE ABOVE MENTIONED COMPANIES OR THE AUTHOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR COMPUTER FOR THE USAGE OF THIS FILE.
  21. Greetings, and Happy Holidays, fellow Jedi! I have a question which - There is a custom module [B] which is copy-paste from vanilla [A], and the only difference is the skyboxes texture it uses [and that I assume no alternatives other than to make a custom module it based on]. I wanted the PC to warp to B from [C] -which is a custom module also- but upon arriving, the NPC placement is different from A and looks like it's having different state of boolean too. Can anyone help me with guessing what could be wrong or missing to make it work as expected? The procedure of warping should be something like this: A --> C --> B Much thanks for considering this.
  22. View File [K1] Legends - Elder Droid's Unique VO This mod replace the default voice-over used by the Elder Droids with the Legends rendition.
