Would anyone be interested in M4-78 EP loading screens that utilize Kexikus' skyboxes? I will likely do this as extra loading screens regardless of the feedback but I am curious if anyone would want such a thing.

This mod fixes some bugs with and makes other adjustments to the Secret Tomb area for mechanical and lore consistency. See the attached document for a full list of changes and the rationale for each change. Installation You must start a new game to experience the full effects of this mod. Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run INSTALL.exe. Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKotOR2). Uninstallation During installation, TSLPatcher generates a backup folder and a log recording which files were affected. Restore dialog.tlk by copying the file from the backup folder to your game directory, replacing the existing one. Restore or delete all all module files affected by this mod. For each module, copy the corresponding .mod file from the backup folder to replace the one in your game's Modules folder if a backup was created, otherwise delete the .mod file from your game's Modules folder. Restore or delete all all .2da files affected by this mod. For each, copy the corresponding .2da file from the backup folder to replace the one in your game's Override folder if a backup was created, otherwise delete the .2da file from your game's Override folder. Delete all other files installed by this mod from your game's Override folder. Compatibility This mod makes several changes in the Secret Tomb module and may be incompatible with other mods which affect that area. This mod edits the script k_oei_userdef.ncs because the party AI has some Secret Tomb-specific code living there. This mod will not be compatible with other mods which edit that script without a compatibility patch. This mod adds the texture pmbj02.tpc for a light-sided Revan's robes. This has the same filename as the Star Forge Robes in KOTOR 1, so mods which edit the Star Forge Robes may be used in place of the texture provided by this mod. Copy the file to your KOTOR 2 Override folder, overwriting the file when prompted. In case anyone was worried about Logan23, I managed to get a hold of him via text messages this week. He sounds like he's doing ok, just real world takes precedence. I know how real world things can get. The past few years have been tough for me too, but I wouldn't want to derail this thread talking about my struggles. I'm here now, making mods, and that's what matters 😃. I can't speak for Logan23, but I consider the models and textures that I create specifically for RoR to not be modder's resources. That would take away from the uniqueness of RoR. I've made some nifty characters that I'd like to keep special just for RoR. Hopefully you'll get to see them someday. N-DReW25 and the team are more in the loop than I am about when things might happen. If I make some models and textures that are more common, then I will probably choose to make those open to all. For example, my Modder's Resource: Specialized Combat Suits for KotOR and TSL v1 was originally made for use with RoR, but I felt that other people can use it too. By the way, I am about halfway done making HD versions of that mod. I just tend to get sidetracked a lot. Like now I'm revamping my Jedi Robe neck fixed models and textures, both for RoR and for a general resource. Always lots to work on. I just found that the more time I spend on the public side (forums, PMs) then the less time I have for painting textures, which is why I was modding in the background for so long.

As I suspected, wrong installation order was the cause of the errors you encountered. The Extended Enclave compatibility patch of my Handmaiden romance mod has instructed that if you want to use my mod with Extended Enclave, you should install Extended Enclave AFTER my mod. The Instruction section of the KOTOR Community Portal's mod build has clearly stated that: So if you want to use my Handmaiden/Disciple romance mod, you should read and understand my mod's instructions first BEFORE installing the KOTOR Communtiy Portal's mod build. Yes, you still must reinstall your game and the mods, because you have messed up the installation of the mod build and my mod by installing my mod only after Extended Enclave. If you do not reinstall, you will likely encounter potentially game-breaking issues when you reach the Rebuilt Jedi Enclave sequence when you return to Dantooine after meeting the Jedi Masters. Did you not read mod descriptions before you installed a mod? Both the KOTOR Community Portal and the download page of Extended Enclave itself has stated that it restores content to the Rebuilt Jedi Enclave sequence on Dantooine. The KOTOR Community Portal's description of Extended Enclave: Description of the download page of Extended Enclave: Since you have not reached the Rebuilt Jedi Enclave sequence yet, you may back up your current saves and use your current saves after you reinstall the game and the mods.

The K1 Community Patch (K1CP) is a compilation of previous bugfix mods and a multitude of new original fixes put together with the intention of resolving the many and various issues that KOTOR has. This includes some well-known game breaking bugs/softlocks, broken quests, inaccessible content, as well as lesser issues such as problems in conversations, visual inconsistencies, player annoyances, etc. The intention is for the changes to be as seamless as possible, fixing and improving things whilst still retaining the original developer intent. A huge thanks to all of the mod authors who created these mods, and allowed them to be included in this patch! Unfortunately, the individual list of changes has grown far too long to be included in this post. However, you can view a detailed breakdown of each author's individual contributions in the included readme file and a summary of the changes the current version has made since the previous release in the changelog file. List of Contributing Authors (alphabetical): A Future Pilot blennus danil-ch darthbdaman DarthParametric Ebmar Frykas Gimmick5000 jc2 JCarter426 Kainzorus Prime Kexikus KOTOR 1 Restoration Team Leilukin Markus Ramikin N-DReW25 ndix UR R2-X2 Red Hessian Salk th3w1zard1 Thrak Farelle WildKarrde Installation: Run INSTALL.exe and navigate to your K1 install folder. Generally speaking, this mod should be installed before anything else, except mods that do hard edits/overwrites of 2DA, TLK or MOD (module) files. Warning: Never run the installer from inside the archive! Always extract the archive onto your hard drive first. N.B.: With the advent of version 1.10.0, K1CP has migrated away from the use of TSLPatcher and switched to HoloPatcher. This allows for additional patching functionality and resolves some bugs encountered with TSLPatcher. HoloPatcher is also multi-platform. The bundled installer is the Windows version, but Mac and Linux users can download the appropriate installer for their system here. It is highly recommended that you do not install the game on your system's C drive, especially in Program Files. Windows can have permissions issues when trying to install the mod to a C drive destination. If you are using the Steam version of the game and have installed Steam in its default Program Files location, we advise creating a new Steam Library on a different drive and moving the game there via the game's Properties pop-up in Steam. Translation: The mod now has translations in French and Russian, available as separate patches. To use, first download the base K1CP v1.10.0 archive and extract it to your harddrive. Download your translation patch of choice and extract its contents into K1CP's tslpatchdata folder. Proceed to install the mod as normal. Compatibility/Known Issues: K1CP uses module injection in an attempt to remain as compatible as possible with other mods. This may result in issues with mods that simply put files in the Override folder. It is recommended that you consult the individual authors of any large scale mods, particularly those that edit DLGs and scripts, as to whether their work is compatible with K1CP. Some mods will likely require updates, some may need to be installed in a specific order, whilst others may be fundamentally incompatible. K1CP currently only supports the English language version of the game, and makes a number of edits to the TLK file in English. If anyone is able to provide translations of these changes to other languages, please let us know. The KOTOR 1 Restoration (K1R) mod is incompatible with K1CP, however there is ongoing work to re-create the K1R mod for K1CP: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2345-restored-content-for-k1cp-demo/ These are the currently known bugs/issues with KOTOR or the mod that the K1CP is looking to resolve: https://github.com/KOTORCommunityPatches/K1_Community_Patch/issues If you find any others, especially with changes/additions K1CP makes, please report them on the Github issue page or here on Deadly Stream so they can be addressed. Be sure to include as much information as possible, including a list of all the other mods you have installed, the order you installed them in, steps to reproduce the problem, along with screenshots and save files, if appropriate. You may also be directed to provide the install log file, a list of the contents of your Override folder, and specific MOD files from your modules folder. Uninstallation: Given the complexity of this mod, a clean install of KOTOR is the recommended approach for uninstalling K1CP. However, HoloPatcher does provide uninstall Shell (Bash) and PowerShell scripts which will work as long as K1CP was the most recent mod installed. I became so very tired of the low resolution textures for female Republic soldiers. So I made a new model for them, using the male version as a template. While I was at it, I noticed errors on the male model, so I've corrected those as well.

It's a global setting in the options menu, not save-specific. It will apply to a new game unless you disable it.

This mod was created due to the frustration of playing with a small HUD on an ultrawide screen. The mod enhances the HUD/UI and Menus from the KotOR High Resolution Menus mod. I created an enlarged HUD, that makes playing the game much more enjoyable on a 3440x1440 resolution. Due to the larger HUD, one needs to use upscaled assets for it to look good. I used a combination of different assets from (KotOR High Resolution Menus, HD MENUS AND UI Assets and Remastered UI) Installation Before installing please make a backup of your own swkotor.exe You have 2 Options to Install this mod: 1 - You copy the patched swkotor.exe to the Game Folder, then you copy everything from the toOverride folder to your games Override Folder. 2 - You patch your swkotor.exe (The Editable version from here) by installing KotOR High Resolution Menus with a 3440x1440 resolution, then copy everything from the toOverride folder to your games Override Folder. IMPORTANT: ADJUST the Height and Width under [Graphics Options] in the swkotor.ini file in your games folder or IT WILL NOT WORK! It should look like this: [Graphics Options] Width=3440 Height=1440 I recommend installing the mod Very Nice! Load Screens for KotOR as well! Uninstallation Remove the files from your Overdrive folder and restore your original swkotor.exe Compatibility This mod works with the K1R mod, but install it after installing K1R

It's not a fix, it's an error as was pointed out. The original string using "leave" is already correct.

This mod replaces the vanilla and/or the installed Republic Soldier texture with the new shade-specularity tweaked version. # Background # The way I see it; the vanilla and/or already present Republic Soldier texture lacks some shading and reflection particularly on its trim, so I thought adding ones would somehow enhance its appearance. # About this Mod # Inside this mod are 6 options of new shade and specularity tweaked Republic Soldier texture in TPC format: [Main] New Shade for Male NPC Republic Soldier [Option-1] Vanilla version for JC's "Republic Soldier Fix for K1" - Male and Female * [Option-2] Vanilla Version Model - Female NPC Republic Soldier [Option-3] New Shade for JC's "Republic Soldier Uniform for PC" - Male and Female * [Option-4] Vanilla version for JC's "Republic Soldier Uniform for PC" - Male and Female * [Option-5] New Shade for JC's "Republic Soldier Fix for K1" - Male and Female NPC Republic Soldier * * Option 1, 3, 4 and 5 requires JCarter426/JC's "JC's Republic Soldier Fix for K1" to be installed first. # Final Remarks # There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: I suggest you to manually removes any TGA/DDS and TXI instances of the relevant files [if there're any] from the 'Override' folder. And then - run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe], and hit the [Install Mod ->] button! Uninstallation: remove the installed files from the 'Override' folder or replaces them with the files stored in the 'Backup' folder [if generated] Compatibility: this option will be compatible with JCarter426's "JC's Republic Soldier Fix for K1" as long as this mod was installed after the said mod has. With any mods that is using the same name for the assets and/or potentially overwrite this mod, no compatibility is guaranteed Redistribution: if you want to redistribute the mod - just go with it. Though less likely I will provide supports to any other place than DeadlyStream. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to credit BioWare & LucasArts with the release - particularly with the inclusion of the assets. This is a mod by Silveredge9 which I received permission to reupload due to filefront's collapse. I have marked it as incompatible with K1R, but the truth is I'm not certain whether it is or not. So long as this mod is installed prior to K1R they're likely to work together, but I am not the original author and am unwilling to make a definitive statement to this effect. The contents of this file, and its readme, have not been altered in any way from the original which Silveredge9 uploaded; the unmodified readme follows: ---------------------------------------- Knights of the Old Republic - Ajunta Pall Unique Appearance Mod v1.1 ---------------------------------------- AUTHOR: Silveredge9 EMAIL: silveredge9@hotmail.com NAME: Ajunta Pall Unique Appearance Mod V1.1 DATE RELEASED: 07/9/07 DESCRIPTION: A unique appearence for the spirit of Ajunta Pall to replace the default Dark Jedi one. Includes an option to make Ajunta semi transparent. ---------------------------------------- File Index ---------------------------------------- N_DeadeyeH01d.tga x 4 N_JediMemM08.tga x 2 kor37_freedon.utc kor37_freedonnad.dlg clear_effects.ncs heads.2DA Appearance.2DA ---------------------------------------- Comments ---------------------------------------- I always though the default Ajunta Pall character was a little uninteresting and generic, looking the same as the enemies you fight in the game. So here, at last is an cool appearance to match his cool voice. Firstly, choose if or not you want a solid Ajunta Pall, or a Semi Transparent "Ghost-Like" Ajunta Pall. And open the associated folder, either Non-Transparent, or Transparent. Then are 2 variations of the head to choose from, with ghostly eyes or with sith eyes. To use the Sith Eyes version, copy the file from the Sith Eyes folder into the override folder after the installation. Also the horrible shield effect has been removed. Should you want to retain the shield effect on Ajunta Pall, don't move 'clear_effects.ncs' or 'kor37_freedonnad.dlg' in the Override folder. ---------------------------------------- Version Updates ---------------------------------------- - Transparent Ajunta Pall option added. ---------------------------------------- How to Install This Mod ---------------------------------------- - Choose whether you want Solid or Transparent Ajunta Pall, and move the TGA files into the Override directory. - Unzip all the rest of the Zips contents into your Override directory, located in your LucasArts/SWKotOR folder. ---------------------------------------- How to UnInstall This Mod ---------------------------------------- - Remove all the listed files above from your Override folder. ---------------------------------------- Contact Info ---------------------------------------- - Email all questions or comments to: silveredge9@hotmail.com

Which lightsaber pack mod did you use? Depending on how the mod was installed and how you deleted the mod, you may run into more issues. When you are asking for help with the game because you ran into issues that might be caused by a mod you used, naming the mod you used would be more helpful for others to help you figure out how to solve your issue.

Zip up your save/s and attach the file. This is why the game explicitly tells you: "Save often, and in more than one slot".

I agree with you and I proceeded to remedy to the sloppiness. I made a duplicate of the original line and of the original audio file then removed the part that would not sit well if spoken to Carth ("we both know") so that the inconsistency is gone. Now Karath will use the new line if the Protagonist is female.

It's as simple as that. 9 times out of 10 a game like this will be written for a male PC, and then that script gets tweaked to make a female version. Sad but true. There's no deeper meaning, they just goofed on this bit when swapping the sexes.

I really wish you would tag mods on here that are either included(wholly or partially), or compatible with K1CP, as you do with K1R compatible mods, and include instructions for installing in the correct order to achieve compatibility...Thanks, it would really be a big help, and make the transition smoother....😊It's quite confusing not knowing which mods are compatible, which ones need some minor/major tweaking, or have to be installed in a certain order, or mods that are only partially included, to finish installing the whole mod. I'm attempting to make my build work with K1CP, and I am beginning to feel like it could be burdening getting help with things I should have already known ahead of time...Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.🙂

HD PC Portraits for Knights of the Old Republic v1.0 - 20190909 by ndix UR (DeadlyStream user) This modification adds high resolution (1K) portrait images for player characters (PCs). All 30 male and female vanilla player characters are provided, with all 5 light-dark variants, for a total of 150 new portraits. The 1K portraits have 256x the resolution of the 64x64 originals. The portraits are rendered to match the poses, colors, facial expressions, and lighting of the original images as closely as possible given the following constraints: Only vanilla textures (and my own additional maps based on same) are used A couple face textures had the eye in the wrong place and had to be fixed I reduced the number of background gradients to a set of 4 standards. The originals are all over the place in terms of the gradients and I didn't have time to replicate every one. An effort was made to match each individual set of portraits to its appropriate set of background gradients. While the textures are mostly crap, most of the work was in material setup using a modern rendering engine, so even the vanilla textures still wind up looking much better than they have any right to. This is because of real lights, shading, and materials, of which the original diffuse textures are only a part. I didn't really redo geometry, beyond appropriate use of subdivision surface modifiers. See the included images in preview/ for an idea of how the portraits look. "The Energy Resistance series no longer resist energy damage" ... Soooo, you gutted the entire main point of that series of powers? Some of these changes look interesting, while others - such as the above-mentioned - seem more questionable. I think the nerfs to Heal and Improved Heal might go a bit too far, unless (unlike the Master version) they still get a boost from Treat Injury. IMO nerfing Destroy Droid is not really necessary. It only works on droid enemies, and only does the full damage if they fail their saving throws - which is hardly a guarantee at the point in the game a player will have it. On top of that, once the player is past G0-T0's yacht its usefulness drops off dramatically unless you have M4-78EP installed - and for M4-78, nerfing Destroy Droid is overly punishing because the Environmental Zone absolutely spams droid enemies and some of the droids on that world are extreme damage sponges. I think the Guardian Droid in the Environmental Zone is even more of a tank than the freaking Drexl Larva. Why do so many people in the community hate the blur effects for things like Force Speed so much? Seriously, why? I wonder if it would be simpler to just significantly up the cost for using contra-alignment Force Powers, so that people can't cheese the game by mixing power pools the designers did not intend to freely overlap. Or maybe to just remove access to Force Lightning entirely, since from what I can tell that's the lynchpin of most or all of the game-breaking cheese builds that so many players seem to be addicted to using. I do see you at least nerfed that whole line a good bit.
