sry, havent seen that earlier - happy belated anniversary !! About the screens give me some time, there are still many changes to make, so it might be best if you/we try out something near/after release. You still have those SWTOR loading templates?Dont delete them if possible, they might be useful later. Currently i draw some inspiration from BF2, amazing textures! Hopefully, i can mimic some e.g. for the med monitors as well. Nar Shaddaa is already done more or less - in ME Omega style however. I'll need to do some adjustments to get a bit more the vibe from the movies though.

Over the last weeks I continued to tweak the clouds for TSLs Dantooine and finally arrived at a version that I'm really happy with, so as always here's the render to celebrate the completion of a skybox: And of course some screenshots. These also show the changed fog settings for the Khoonda plains. The enclave didn't need any changes. I also continued work on the Taris skybox. This screenshot shows only the actual skybox, the 2d buildings are disabled here as are most of the clouds to save render time. I think I'm getting there. Currently I'm stuck on finding a good way to lightmap the 2d buildings. The problem is not to get them lightmapped, that's easy, but to create the lightmap automatically and not by hand. I was thinking of projecting a cylindrical image onto their geometry to create the lighting, but tests in that direction have not been very successfull. If anyone has any ideas on how to get this done, please let me know. And as the last update for today, I rendered the 2d buildings for Tatooine. I'll have to see whether or not I'll disable the fog for Anchorhead and I might also tweak the Tatooine skybox some more. We'll see^^

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.2.0 Release Date: 13.06.2024 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch (K1CP) first and, if you intend to use it, install the Restored Content for the K1 Community Patch (RC-K1CP) after K1CP and before this mod. Simply click on the HoloPatcher.exe, select your option (read about this below!), click install and sit back and watch the installer do its magic. Description: After you kill Calo Nord, a messenger named Senni Vek will deliver you a datapad telling you to meet Hulas on Manaan. In the vanilla game, that's the last you ever heard from Senni. But whilst searching through the game files, I discovered during the final fight with Hulas our good old friend Senni was supposed to fight along Hulas against you, however, his NPC was replaced with the appearance and nametag of a generic yellow Rodian who, oddly enoug, still used the Twi'lek soundset. As of version 1.2 of this mod, this mods has two different versions to choose from. These versions are... Senni Vek Restoration: This mod restores Senni Vek to the fight by replacing the generic yellow Rodian, exactly how Bioware originally intended. Senni Vek's Ambush: This mod replaces Hulas with Senni Vek. Senni Vek will now take Hulas' place as the big bad boss fight with Hulas' original Rodian audio being replaced with Twi'lek audio and his dialogue rewritten so that it's from the perspective of Senni Vek and not Hulas. This alternative version is for those who believe it was stupid for Hulas to decide to fight the player right after gaining control of the GenoHaradan Guild. In this version, it is heavily implied that Hulas sent Senni Vek and the other hunters to kill the player, and when the player defeats them Hulas will then disappear for the duration of the game as he consolidates his power in the shadows. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: Please report any incompatibilities! Senni Vek Restoration is already part of RC-K1CP, so there's no point installing that option. Senni Vek's Ambush is designed with RC-K1CP in mind, if you already have RC-K1CP or Senni Vek Restoration installed the Senni Vek's Ambush mod will convert the tat_senni.utc file from Senni Vek into the generic yellow Rodian whilst also changing Hulas into Senni Vek, it should be impossible to have two Senni Vek's if you install the mod correctly! Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission. Thanks to: Leilukin: For prompting me to update this mod! Sniggles: For requesting Senni Vek's Ambush and for maintaining the Kotor Mod Builds! DarthParametric: For assisting me with replacing the Journal Entries! Bioware: For such an amazing game! oh man. such a wonderful/neat work. Just tested on Telos (Citadel St) and how awesome it looks. Gives way more life/"reality" to these areas. even animated on both sides of the monitors, wasnt expecting that one either. i couldn't reduce the size of the texture with my software (dunno if i can type the soft name here), any chances you could do that? (5,3 Mb for just one texture is a little too much for my half.end rig overloaded with 'heavy' textures and hundreds of mods within my overloaded Override!!!) appreciate ALOT this add-on, you and that guy by the name of SH Cheers to both, rated 5 stars naturally.

Yep. They're both in Star Forge areas. I plan to do another 2 playthroughs just to make sure everything's finalized anyway, but I think that should be good. Thanks so much, JC. I'm (very) slowly getting the hang of this. XD

I'm not sure, might be easier to just look in each Star Forge module since there are only four of them and you know it's not going to be anywhere else.

It was way easier than I was making it. Just ripped the utc from the module with KotOR Tool, changed the stats and boom. Glad it wasn't something more complicated. Even though I didn't end up using your method I really appreciate the help, Salk. Thanks.

The Rise of the Hutt Cartel and Shadow of Revan expansions are being made available for F2P players via entering the code REVANSFATE on http://www.swtor.com/redeem-code The code is valid until November 1 (you only need to unlock it by then - once unlocked you retain access permanently). I gather this also unlocks progression up to level 60, since F2P is typically capped to level 50. Note that subscribers already have access to these older expansions, so it's really only for new F2P players. https://www.swtor.com/info/news/news-article/20181018

Update: Finally got around to looking for evidence of the Czerka sign being used in KotOR1, @ebmar and @N-DReW25 . Though I gave up at searching after finding one example of it, there's likely others around in the game. The desk in the screen shot has miniature versions of the sign texture. The other texture for the desk itself in the mod is for a completely different desk model and is seen is several other places.

This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for working on my request, @ebmar!

There's no way to remove it without creating similar freezing issues. You could try setting it to fire and forget in animations.2da as well, but it's likely the only way to fix it is to fix the animation. I remember that one being particularly bad from the last time I played. It's only a second long and looks more like a spasm. I don't remember if it's used in K2 at all, but I loaded up the supermodel and it doesn't look any better there.
  17. 1 point
How did you manage that? UTM files have an option to only buy or only sell (and I don't even know if those work) but I don't see any way to restrict the buying to specific items. I suppose it would be possible if you temporarily removed all other items from the player's inventory, but I don't know how well that would work in practice. Interesting. The function may be limited to affecting base item types rather than specific items. Most quest items are plot usable items, but you also can't sell a lot of them, so it might not be a problem. And of course affecting every crystal was the intent before anyway.
  18. 1 point
You can change it from a looping to a fireforget animation in dialoganimations.2da. But this means the animation will freeze after it plays until the end of the node. The mouth still moves but if the node is a bit longer, it looks kind of weird. Up to you to decide which option is worse

Summary This mod replaces the Jedi robes worn by the player and many NPCs with a more iconic, cloaked one based on a model from K2. I've made some fixes to the model and made new textures both to improve the quality and fit into the game more smoothly. There are three texture options: 100% Brown, Brown-Red-Blue, and Brown-Red-Blue Alternative. The Brown-Red-Blue textures maintain the color scheme of the K1 Jedi Robes. The 100% Brown textures look more like K2 textures, with different (brown) designs for the Jedi robes instead of different colors. The Brown-Red- Blue Alternative is a mix of these styles. It retains the color scheme of the Brown-Red-Blue option while keeping the variety of the 100% Brown option. Dark Jedi robes, of course, are always black. All styles come with or without gloves for your player character and some non- player characters. If you choose a gloveless option, your hands will be bare and match your usual skin tone. Installation Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run Install.exe. Select one of the six install options: a) 100% Brown b) 100% Brown (No Gloves) c) Brown-Red-Blue d) Brown-Red-Blue (No Gloves) e) Brown-Red-Blue Alternative f) Brown-Red-Blue Alternative (No Gloves) Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKotOR). Manual Installation Extract files from the downloaded archive. If you do not have an override folder, make one in your game directory (default name SWKotOR). Select one of the three folders in tslpatchdata: k_bbb – 100% Brown k_brb – Brown-Red-Blue k_brb-a – Brown-Red-Blue Alternative Copy all files from the selected folder to your override folder except appearance.2da and the .ini and .rtf files. The gloveless options require patching appearance.2da and are not supported by the manual installation. Uninstallation Remove the installed files or replace from backups if necessary. Compatibility & Other Notes This mod is not compatible with my Cloaked Hybrid Robes mod; you have to pick one or the other. This mod is compatible with my Cloaked Party Robes mod, if you install it after installing this mod. This mod is likely not compatible with other mods that alter the Jedi robes. This mod uses my Supermodel Port for K1. This makes it super cripplingly incompatible with any other mods that alter the game's supermodels (the S_Female and S_Male files) unless the other mods utilize my Supermodel Port assets. These edits are necessary to give the player supermodels the bones required for the cloaks to animate. This mod's supermodels include my Supermodel Fixes for K1. So you don't have to worry about using that, or if these files are overwriting those. Use this mod's files. These supermodel edits somewhat alter some animations in the game. These adjustments were necessary to prevent the old stuff from clipping with the new stuff. It's essentially what Obsidian did when they added the new bones to the supermodel, but I've reversed the changes a bit to bring the animations closer to the original K1 style. Some models aren't so happy with the new rig. I've made some hotfixes for such cases where I can, but they won't be compatible with other mods that alter these models. I've instructed TSLPatcher not to overwrite these. P_JuhaniBB.mdl and P_JuhaniBB.mdx are two such files that will be skipped. If you use the Juhani Catlike Head Mod, I suggest that you use my version because I happened to fix the same thing that mod fixes anyway. You can copy those two files manually from tslpatchdata to Override. The gloveless options only support appearances from the original game release. If you use a modded player appearance, they'll still wear gloves. While this mod adds skirt bones to the player supermodels, at this time it does not add the bones or the necessary animations to the cutscene models. So the skirt flaps may appear stiff in scenes that use those. Summary This is a mod resource of my various cloaked robe ports, including Cloaked Jedi Robes, Cloaked Hybrid Robes, and Cloaked Party Robes. I've included all the textures I made for these mod releases as well as the Photoshop Document (PSD) files I used to make them. The PSDs have different layers for the overlays, masks, and each robe variant. Anyone who wants to make new textures for this model or do anything else with it may do so and is strongly encouraged to. You'll need to use the Supermodel Port (also included) for the robes to animate properly in K1. Compatibility The Supermodel Port is super cripplingly incompatible with any other mods that alter the game's supermodels (the S_Female and S_Male files) unless the other mods utilize my Supermodel Port assets. These edits are necessary to give the player supermodels the bones required for the cloaks to animate. This mod's supermodels include my Supermodel Fixes for K1. Final notes Any edits to these files are going to be fundamentally incompatible with any other edits. While I'm releasing this as Attribution Only, I do ask that you don't release edited versions of the supermodels unless needed. The supermodels are fragile and difficult to troubleshoot, and even I don't entirely know or remember how these work, so it would make things a lot easier if you don't make any further edits unnecessarily; that way we know the source of any problem and there is less to troubleshoot. Ideally, you'll only need to include the supermodels for animation support, and only edit using the Modular Supermodels to add any extra animations. I'll stand by as maintainer of the sacred ported supermodels to apply any fixes or other updates. In the event that I lapse in ability to perform this task, I authorize the transfer of power to another candidate following one year and one day of non-response on my part. I think I remember that being one of the problematic ones, but the only way to be sure would be to do a search in KOTOR Tool.
  26. 0 points
That's probably not going to work with Bastila, though, because BioWare used the file name in several instances throughout the game and putting one in Override will change all of them. To get it to work without doing that, you'd have to set up TSLPatcher to change the alignment and insert the edited UTC into a MOD file.
