  3. The Grid - Telos

    A Modification for:
Star Wars: Knights oF The Old Republic II: The Sith Lords

    "The Grid - Telos"
    Author: Rtas_Vadum

    I.Description
    II.Installation
    III.Compatability
    IV.Removal
    V.Credits
    VI.Permissions
    VII.Disclaimer

    ----------------------------------------------

    I.Description

Although one can imagine that, before the devestation of it's surface, Telos might've been a bit less advanced in technology than some other worlds.
However, Citadel Station is likely to be the most recent technology. The Military Base has a similar look, as does the Telosian Academy Interior.

    Notes:

-Although it might be advertised as such(for a bit of simplicity), this is not a complete reskin of the Telos modules. As described above, it is only Citadel Station,
The Military Base(which includes the HK Factory), and the Telosian Jedi Academy. None of the surface textures(i.e the rock/grass textures) have been edited.

    ----------------------------------------------

    II.Installation

Extract the tga and txi files from the rar, and add them to TSL's override folder.

Recommendation: For a bit of simplcity, you can create a folder witin the override(naming it as what you wish, but something relating to this mod might be preferable),
and extract the files in this folder. This way, it is easy to remove, instead of having to search though the override.

    ----------------------------------------------

    III.Removal

    If you installed in override:
Find all tga and txi files with the TEL_ prefix, and delete them.

    If installed in a folder(i.e Override/Telos):
Just delete the folder containing the files for this mod.

    ----------------------------------------------

    IV.Compatability

Most mods(such as TSLRCM) should not cause an issue if this is used. However, if you are already using a similar mod(one that retextures an area or module),
then adding this will override all the files used by the current mod. Adding one when you are already using this, and your new one will override this one.

    ----------------------------------------------

    V.Credits

Most of the work for this mod was done soley by me. However, textures from this mod were used...

  4. The Grid - Harbinger

    A Modification for:

    VI.Disclaimer

    ----------------------------------------------

    I.Description

While the Harbinger was a Republic ship, you can imagine that the Sith presence on it might...corrupt it to some degree. Given the theme present here, it isn't just red smoke and a few bad feelings.
Almost no part of the ship is uncorrupted, save for a few items that are working as intended.

    Notes:

-Recommendation: While this mod is certainly fine on it's own, I would recommend using Canderis' "A Darker Peragus" mod(which includes the Harbinger) alongside this, although doing so is the preference of the user.

    ----------------------------------------------

    II.Installation

Extract the tga and txi files from the rar, and add them to TSL's override folder.

    ----------------------------------------------

    III.Removal

    If you installed in override:
Find all tga and txi files with the HAR_ prefix, and delete them.

    If installed in a folder(i.e Override/Harbinger):
Just delete the folder containing the files for this mod.

  5. The Grid - Peragus

    A Modification for:
Star Wars: Knights oF The Old Republic II: The Sith Lords

    "The Grid - Peragus"
    Author: Rtas_Vadum

    I.Description
    II.Installation
    III.Removal
    IV.Compatibility
    V.Permissions
    VI.Disclaimer

    ----------------------------------------------

    I.Description

As might be expected, this gives the Peragus level a similar look to that of the Tron series, mostly Legacy. Going along with the idea that
Peragus is a 'normal' area, most of the lines are blue. However, given recent events, some of the textures will show corruption(I.e the orange lines with a red glow).

    Notes:

-Some things around the Peragus levels will not match the area, although this is in the works. The same can be said for the Miner Outfit(both the player and NPC version),
which I have in the works as well.

-The NPC's that appear there, namely Kreia and Atton will look out of place, but again, I am working on that.

    ----------------------------------------------

    II.Installation

Extract the tga and txi files from the rar, and add them to TSL's override folder.

    ----------------------------------------------

    III.Removal

    If you installed in override:
Find all tga and txi files with the PER_ prefix, and delete them.

    If installed in a folder(i.e Override/Peragus):
Just delete the folder containing the files for this mod.

    ----------------------------------------------

  8. TSL Animated Galaxy Map

It had to be updated eventually . . .

Here's my first very small mod. Updated. Yet again.

    AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 13 SEP 2012
    UPDATED RELEASE: 24 DEC 2012
    CATHALAN RELEASE: 28 MAR 2016
    COMBINED RELEASE: 08 APR 2016

GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords

    Description:
    ============

The Galaxy Map texture of the Ebon Hawk was originally sized at 128x128. The texture is now sized to 512x512. In addition to the resolution bump, the actual texture is now animated. As the texture file is named the same in both KotOR games, the mod should be usable in both games.

However: I don't suggest using this with Knights of the Old Republic 1, if seeing planets only seen in Knights of the Old Republic 2 causes any measure of distress. (Use the KOTOR version instead found here. (http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/724-kotor1-animated-galaxy-map/)

There are now FOUR different versions that you can use!

Version 1: The original planets as laid out in the original un-modded game but animated and at higher resolution.

Version 2: In addition to the original planets, I've added Coruscant and M4-78 to the map.

Version 3: Mostly like Version 2 but with Cathalan added to the planet roster.

Version 4: This is the "April Fool's Version" of the Galaxy Map as described in this post. (http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/4304-april-fools-an-exciting-mod-to-appear-on-deadly-stream-soon/?do=findComment&comment=44585)

Condensed Description for Version 4 as follows:
    ===============================================

    April Fools!

I still think the orange people in the Cathalan mod are ridiculous. My mockery for the Cathalan mod is on full display in this Galaxy Map. (See the News announcement for April 1st, 2016 for screenshots.)

Though [Version 4] is meant for Knights of the Old Republic 2 - as Cathalan was an awful mod made for K2 - this mod can and will work in KotOR1 if the installation instructions below are followed.

    Installation:
    =============

First, choose which of the four versions you want to use.

For Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 - Extract the "LEH_scre03.tga" and the "LEH_scre03.txi" files into the SWKotOR2/Override folder.

For Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 - Extract the "LEH_scre03.tga" and the "LEH_scre03.txi" files into the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic/Override folder.

    Uninstallation:
    ===============

    Take them out again.

    Known Bugs:
    ===========

    None known at this time.

  12. Protocol Droids by Vurt

You've see this collection elsewhere. So why download this version, you might ask?

    An extra droid.

B-4D4 is the gold colored Czerka droid that's hacked into so you can access the mainframe, if you recall. After νυrτ made his first Protocol Droids collection, I asked if he could do a version B-4D4 and he graciously agreed to do so. When I inquired about getting permission to upload his mods to Deadly Stream, I also asked for permission to upload this one as well. He was kind enough to grant permission to do so. Enjoy the fruits of my pestering and νυrτ's labor.

Installation: Place the TGA files in the KOTOR2 override folder

Uninstall: Take the aforementioned files out of the aforementioned folder.

  15. Modders Resource: TFU-style Darth Sion model

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...
Not SO long ago, Don Kain asked me to edit Sion model to look like his TFU skin. I added flaps and bolts to the model, modeled pauldron. He was going to make the actual skin for it (I almost didn't worked on the textures), but his mod was never released.
After that, Drewton asked my permission to use this model in his Sion reskin. I allowed that, but his mod too was not released.
So I release this model as a modder's resource. Use it as you like, just give credit to me.

    Known issues:
It's possible, that his flaps will not be animated in some cutscenes. I never really tested, so it's up to you to find out.

This mod is not suppored by LucasArts, BioWare, Obsidian and ME. I don't plan to work on this model anymore, so don't contact me if something is wrong. I release it 'as is', use at your own risk. gMax scene is included so you can fix everything yourself. If you can't - I don't care.

  16. Canonical Jedi Exile

Like previous version and the version before, this made the head of Jedi Exile as canon as possible.

This time, I changed the eye color to blue based on the latest information of Wookieepedia.
Also, because my photoshop-skill has improved, I redone those illustrations for better looks.

  17. Reskin of Mira's default Clothes

    Reskin of Mira

    Contact:PM me at www.deadlystream.com. I'm Fair Strides.
PM me at www.lucasforums.com. I'm Fair Strides 2.

    Introduction:
This is just a simple reskin of Mira. It changes her jacket completely, and makes the rest of her clothes more vibrant. Now she actually "stands out, rather than melting into the background." to paraphrase a friend.0

    Installation:
Just drop the PMiraATGA and P MiraAD01.TGA into the override folder.

    Bugs:
    None, it's a re-skin!

    Permissions:
Feel free to modify these files any way you see fit, only I ask for two things:1.)You must give me credit if you use these files in your mod, and 2.)PM me before you post it, to let me know you will be releasing a mod with my files in it. Thank you!

    Credits:
Malkior at deadlystream, also known as Kriffiing Brilliant at lucasforums, for critiquing the mod, and me paraphrasing him.

  18. Heavy Armor Expansion Mod

    Heavy Armor Expansion Mod

    Previously "Advanced Armor Mod"

    by 90 SK

    ---

This KotOR 2 modification adds seven new heavy armors and modifies the textures of the remaining default heavy armors. The modifications on default armors and armor icons are for aesthetic continuity. Aesthetic modifications have been made to medium armors as well. The new heavy armors will replace existing items so as to incorporate them into the random loot system. The items replaced include items that have a specific character name like Bindo's Band, Circlet of Saresh, and Onasi Blaster. These items will now appear randomly as new heavy armors. Other new heavy armors have been added to bad-guy inventories or treasure loot, so as to be encountered by the player at specific intervals in the game's story.

    ---

    INSTALLATION:
Place "Override" folder in your SWKotor2 directory

    UNINSTALLATION:
    Remove "Armors" folder from SWKotor2/Override

It is best to install before starting a new game.

  19. Maintenance Officer Realistic Reskin

One thing that I found blatantly irritating is that while the dialog for how the Maintenance Officer met his demise on Peragus was both graphic and descriptive, the actual "body" of the aforementioned was absolutely untouched. This really breaks the immersion for me, so I changed the texture for his model and re-skinned the texture to have more "damage".

The screenshots do a pretty good job of showing what it looks like.

  20. Darth Nihilus Mask Fix

This mod replaces Darth Nihilus' default mask with a more stylistically accurate version similar to the mask depicted in the KotOR 2 concept art. This mod will change the appearance of Darth Nihilus to the updated version in all in-game appearances he has.

  21. Shiny HKs

This modification adds an improved and also shiny look to the current HK-47/HK-50/HK-51 textures, similar to the KotOR 1 HK-47 appearance.

To Install, click the "Install.exe" icon and follow the instructions. To Uninstall, remove all files packaged within this mod from override except appearance.2da.

If you experience issues with the mod, install this mod before starting a new game. This mod may not work retroactively with your saves depending on your pc settings and game settings. I have confirmed that this mod does work from HK-50s first encounter, but it may potentially present with transparent textures, due to necessary changes to appearance.2da not being made with the installer. You must use the exe installer in the mod archive to fully install the mod. Also, if you're installing TSLRCM and M4-78EP, install this mod after and also last.

Please do not release this mod on other sites or use its content without contacting me first.

  22. More Vibrant Skies

Ever wonder how it feels to run from level to level and look at nearly every sky texture border to make sure that every pixel matches?.. I sure do now.

My goal was to make all of the skyboxes look more "alive" by changing certain values in photoshop to getting rid of the twilight/grey color palette that was used. The only skybox I actually repainted the entirety was dxun to make it look like the player was actually in a thunderstorm and not those grey wispy things. (there were two zones and each required their own texture)

I also provided options if you don't want the moon and/or planet on the background on Dxun and two variations on the suns of Dantooine and Telos.

(Also included is a small .txi file that makes the girders outside Telos Station more visible and less like paper mache`)

Hopefully they make Kotor II more visually appealing than the original game did.

  23. Cloaked KotOR Tunics for TSL

    Cloaked KotOR Tunics for TSL
    by 90SK & VarsityPuppet

Two options with installation, either replace the padawan robe type, or fully replace all robes with cloaked KOTOR tunics. Complete with unique varieties for unique robes, there are a total of 18 options to choose from. Unique robe item icons have been included.

To Install, run TSLpatcher.exe for either of the installation options, and be sure to save your auto-generated backup folder.

Redistribution or reuse of this file in other projects is prohibited without permission from both authors.

Special thanks to Fred Tetra, author of KOTOR Tool, and Obsidian / Bioware for their original material.
Additional and extra special thanks to VarsityPuppet for his modeling efforts here.
This mod is incompatible with other robe mods as it replaces all robe items and structures.
Mods that replace the Jal Shey/Zeison Sha armor type will not be affected.
For best results, use with a new game.

This is my new/fixed/updated version of my re-skin. As it turns out, I had the PFHA03 skin from the K1 version...

This version has the dark side transitions and I also got the portraits in here, too!

  25. Improved Jedi Sacks

I've heard and said it many times: "The Exile looks like (s)he is wearing a potato sack." While working on my WiP TC mod, I realized that how they looked like nothing that a Jedi (even an exile) would wear. Therefore, I reskinned them to look more Jedi-ish. TSLPatcher is used to ensure it will only affect the Exile and not party members who happen to use the original texture.
