  2. TSL Story Mod

    ======================================================
A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC II: (THE SITH LORDS) MODIFICATION
    ======================================================

    TSL Story Mod v2.7

    AUTHOR: Darth Shan
    NAME: TSL Story Mod v2.7

    FILENAME: tsl_storymod.rar
    FILE SIZE: 3.47 MB
    DATE RELEASED: 01/01/2008, revised 31. May 2016

CREDITS: Loganessex for testing and advice. JackLucas for testing and no advice. Shem for prolonged help with modding, Stoffe for investigating the Malachor issues. Malpense and Archer for encouraging feedback.

    DESCRIPTION:
This mod, the third and final version of my first mod whatsoever, comprises the following features:

    1) Nihilus is the Exile - FINAL.
You get some additional dialogue options, if you installed USM you will still be able to get the lightsaber - and the mask as well. It revolves about a problem of the PC's identity. New dialogue lines are voiced.

    2) Sacrifice Visas in (nearly) all situations: If you equip Visas with modified lightsabers and custom robes, you will still be able to sacrifice her. (Beware: You won't get the additional options from the Nihilus Mod above, in this case.)

    3) Shoot-out between Remote, Goto and HK-47 on Malachor V (final).

    4) Vision in the council chamber on Coruscant (final). This is a small modulet with dialogue options for three Sith lords, completely overhauled.

    5) Small dialogue tweaks for the Handmaiden Sisters Cutscenes. Compatibility script for Stoffe's Handmaiden Fix and deathdisco's New Planet Coruscant (one script file to be found in the Backup folder, use it only if you use BOTH mentioned mods).

    6) Option for never ever having to Recruit the Disciple if you do not have the Handmaiden. USM compatible.

    7) Second Sith vision on Malachor, (final). Dialogues cleaned. Rebalanced.

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Extract archive to a test folder on your harddrive. Drop every file manually in the archive folder "SWKotor2" where it belongs in the respective game directory folders:
    modules
    lips
    Override
    streammusic.
All these correspond to LucasArts>SWKotor2>modules - lips - override - streammusic.

    THIS WILL OVERWRITE
    lips>904MAL_loc.mod
If you use an English or German version of the game it's alright. There are original file backups in the archive. If you have any other TSL version, drag and drop this file from "lips" to a separate backup folder.

Alternatively, you may drag and drop the whole "SWKotOR2"-folder onto your LucasArts folder (NOT the game directoy itself!), if you have a standard TSL installation.

    COMPATIBILITIES
    USM (Ultimate Lightsaber mod)
Coruscant Jedi Temple (my mod overwrites loadscreens.2da, perfectly alright)
    Tomb of Azgath on Korriban
    The Dark Apprentice (MacLeod Corporation)
    Droid Factory Reconstructed
    Droid Planet Mod
This mod won't be compatible with TSLRP, because they are going to implement several ways to sacrifice Visas.
Install this mod prior to my Droid Planet mod.

    HOW TO PLAY
The modifications begin very late in the game.
    - Defeat Darth Nihilus to get the additional dialogue options. Shortly afterwards you will be transferred to the new module. IMPORTANT: The first dialogue has been purposefully flagged as unskippable to avoid skipping the deletion script (i.e. this caused a nasty looping bug in an early version, scusa). Still, I implemented the line "I won't have this vision" to let the vision disappear. This is intended for the case anything still goes wrong. If you use this option rightout you won't ever be transferred to the council vision area.
    - The confrontation between the droids automatically takes place when Remote has activated the Mass Shadow Generator.
    - You will automatically enter a new level before moving onwards to the Trayus Core. If you do not like this: open the console and type "warp 908MAL", this is the Trayus Core. Don't use the party selection menu (the game could crash).

    BUGS and ISSUES:
    1) When you select the party menu while staying in the new Malachor level, your game could crash to desktop. This has turned out as being a driver issue (I ran into no problems on newer computers). Note: There are no problems with the council chamber level. YOU CAN'T SELECT ANY PARTY MEMBERS ON MALACHOR ANYWAY, JUST IGNORE THE OPTION.
    2) There is a bug with the Disciple dialogue in Khoonda: Carth may show up instead of Admiral Cede in case of evil PC. This was introduced by the USM when fixing a looping cutscene bug. This is a little inconvenient, but the original bug is worse. If you don't like it: delete "dis1_enc.dlg" and restore it from USM if you have that mod.
    3) There are balancing issues on Malachor, depending on your equipment and level. If you have some mods installed (like Coruscant and USM), it should not pose a problem. If you haven't, it might.

The mod has been tested several times, but there may still be issues. It is now re-distributed as-is. There will be no further additions (earlier prospects of it being a larger mod have been cancelled).

TOOLS: My thanks go to Fred Tetra for his ingenious Kotor tool, tk102 for the dialogue editor, Holowan Laboratories and Taris Upper City Emporium for the Tutorials.

PERMISSIONS: You may use this mod in every way you wish. Really, don't ask for permissions.

THIS MODIFICATION IS PROVIDED AS-IS AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT OR LUCASARTS OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES. USE OF THIS FILE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND THE ABOVE MENTIONED COMPANIES OR THE AUTHOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR COMPUTER FOR THE USAGE OF THIS FILE.

Updates will only come, when I am able to provide savegames (I am stuck after the Citadel, because I have not had time to go through the game twice.)

  4. Mobile Coruscant Jedi Temple

WARNING : This is still being tested, but initial tests are promising. Feel free to message me with any issues you might encounter.

Original mod and permissions provided by @deathdisco

This version is setup specifically for use alongside MTSLRCM and MM478EP.

    https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2552-mobile-m4-78-enhancement-project/

Files are included if you wish to install it just for MTSLRCM or even without it.

The only real changes I have made are a fix to "952cor.vis" and correcting a file name mismatch for "PLC_lft1.mdl"

    Installation
Unpack the .zip archive and transfer the files from "mtslrcm and mm478ep" to their proper location.

    iOS:
On iOS, they are placed in iTunes > Apps > Documents, in the same spot that the ‘saves’ folder goes.
    ANDROID:
On Android the files should be placed in /Home/Android/data/com.aspyr.swkotor2/files/
As long as you’ve closed the game from the app switcher before launching with the mod, everything should work as normal."

    Patches
the "mtslrcm only" folder contains the relevant files if you do not wish to install Mobile M478EP
the "no mods" folder contains the required files for not using any other mods.

I used the Application ZArchiver to unpack the files and Total Commander to transfer the files to the relevant location, but I believe they can be transferred using the regular file browser application, however I have been testing it on the Bluestacks emulator and not on actual hardware for the moment.

  6. Ithorian Cantina

Don’t install this mod until after Lt Grenn tells you that you are free to go pending the Republic leading an investigation, if you do you will need to start again with the save from when you first reach Telos.

This mod will change the Ithorian Compound opening a new area beside Chodo Habat's office which is normally inaccessible.

The new area will have a small cantina which has a merchant, a replicator and a few characters, two of which will be used in a new plot.

When you start the side missions for Chodo Habat, first you have to go to Dock Module 106 and return the new Droid Intelligence to the Ithorian Compound, after telling the droid that you'll take him back to the Ihorians, the game automatically takes you back to the compound and starts a conversation with Chodo Habat - at the end of dialog you'll find a new journal entry, or possibly two I'm not sure off hand - anyway one of them will be Ithorian Traitor.

Now all you have to do is follow the journal entries to complete the mission - I don't want to give a step by step guide here as there won't be any point in downloading the mod.

All I'm going to say is you have to speak to a few characters, interact with things inside the cantina, travel around Citadel Station and fight a few people to advance the plot.

You'll get XP for working through the plot and when you fight the bad guys plus at the end Atton will... make a friend. His mate, Tariga will follow him around like Bao-Dur’s Remote – unlike Remote though Tariga will be useful, he’s a Jedi Consular who advances in level/powers with the rest of the party, he’s got a few things to say in a couple of cut scenes and when you talk to him he’ll tell you about the planet you’re on and make you some medpacks, grenades & mines… but don’t ask for too many or he’ll politely tell you were to go.

  7. Darksword

    Description of Mod:
    ==============
Being tired of looking at the same melee sword with just different colored hilts, I decided to make a new model sword. This one has a twist however. Based off of Mighella's Darksword, this weapon precedes the lightsaber. While being a different sort of weapon, it shares common properties of a lightsaber, and as such will provide you with a decent weapon until you're able to construct a lightsaber of your own (which took way too long for my tastes).

This sword also has a special animation effect to the blade. Upon activation (flourish/fight), the blade will emit a strobing plasma arc

    Darksword Description:
    ----------------------
"Rarely spoken of, and even moreso seen, this millenia's old weapon is known as a darksword.

This weapon precedes the lightsaber used by ancient Sith, but often treasured by both collectors, and those who still find the pleasure in more 'carnal' ways of dealing with their opponents.

Utilizing similar technologies found in today's lightsabers, the weapon is surprisingly well suited for upgrading.

In it's most simple and elegant description, the Darksword is essentially a saber made from duranium and plasmetically charged."

    Darksword Crystal Description:
    ------------------------------
"Because of limited technologies & crystal supply (most mines had yet to be found), the Darksword used a special crystal "fixture" that allowed the weapon to harness the collective energies from smaller crystal fragments.

Less powerful than today's lightsaber, the Darksword was more a symbol than practical. Separating those trained in the Force (most often Sith) from the common person. Still, because today's lightsaber technologies were based primarily from the Darksword, little has changed.

Darkswords found today, albeit rarely, can still incorporate most, if not all standard lightsaber upgrades. Some may blame the Jedi for their stringent hold on 'tradition', though the more wise know how valuable & practical keeping certain physicalities "standard".

Antiquated perhaps, but no Jedi or Sith has yet complained of the fact that sometimes "discovered" upgrades conveniently fit their own weapon..."

    STATS:
    ---------
    - Upgradeable (uses lightsaber upgrades)
    - 1-10 Physical
    - 1d4 Energy

Colors included: Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Violet, Silver, Cyan, Viridian & Orange

**- this mod uses both an upcrystals.2da & baseitems.2da file. If you are already using such a file, some editing will be required. HOWEVER, I've tried very hard to make mine compatible with other mods. A big thanks goes to Darkkender for providing an outstanding base to work off of! Below is a list of mods that my included "upcrystals.2da" & "baseitems.2da" will work with (safe to overwrite):

    ()- compatible .2da mods:

    - Darkkender's Guardian Saber
    - RedHawke & Maverick187's Prestiege Class
    - RedHawke's Exile Item Pack
    - Xcom's SH Crystal Pack
    - Shadow's Saber Pack
    - Shadow's Odyssey Saber
    - Jetstorm's & Darkkender's Lightsaber Crystal Expansion
    - Maverick187's Megido & Avenger Sabers
    - Maverick187's Jedi W.M. Mav Model
    - Darkkender's Segan Wyndh v2 mod
    - Darkkender's Painted Droids mod
    - Drakonnen's Jedi v Sith Armor Pack

    =====================

*- Unsure of TSLRCM compatibility due to included baseitems.2da

  8. TSL Hak Pad - Booster Pack v2

    ** Attention **

This is NOT a standalone mod! You will need to download and install my
TSL Hak Pad - MAIN Mod in order for this Booster Pack to work.

    =============

This is another expansion pack to my TSL Hak Pad cheat mod. It is also backwards compatible with my Booster Pack v.1, meaning you don't have to download it (if you haven't already) to get the functions it added. If you HAVE downloaded it, then just overwrite the files when prompted

With permission, andargor has allowed me to incorporate his Holowan CLoakworks 2 Disguise mod! Over 500+ disguises are now available (PC & NPC)!

    andargor - http://www.andargor.com/

    - Added andargor's Holowan Cloakworks 2 Disguises function
    - Tweaked a few dialogue tree descriptions / categories
    - Added Set PC / NPC's Level
    - Added Adjust Skill Point Levels Function
    - Added Adjust Attribute Scores Function
    - **Added a "hidden" Special Interface for other Modder's Tools

** What this means is that if you happen to have the following mods installed, you can access it's functions through the Hak Pad without having to equip it!
You WILL however have to download and install their mods for this function to be available. You will also need to have their mod items in your inventory (the actual armbands).
But don't worry! If you don't have the mods, the special dialogue won't appear! (No need to worry about accidentally choosing an invalid function and crashing your game).

    - Darth333's Wherami Armband
    http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php

    - RedHawke's Mistake Correction Armband
    http://www.jumpstationz.com/ModsArchive/RedHawke/RHCorrectionArmband.rar

    - mrdefender's Wrist Console
    http://www.jumpstationz.com/ModsArchive/MrDefender/WristConsole19.zip

If you have already installed the above mods and they're working fine, DON'T CHANGE a thing! BUT, if you would like to download and use them via the Hak Pad, here's a little tip... just install all of the files WITHOUT the spells.2da. That's right, you won't need to edit it because the Hak Pad will directly access it's functions via the item's dialogue! How's that for a "hack"?!.. hehehe
Keep in mind, if you don't install their entries in the spells.2da, you won't be able to use the item on it's own (you'll HAVE to use the Hak Pad to use their mods)... just a warning

On a sidenote, thanks to feedback from the Original Hak Pad Mod, I have found that this mod also works for the Xbox!

    2. STATS: (with Booster Pack v.2)
    =================================

    - Workbench
    - Component Bench
    - Medical Bench
    - Virtual Items Storefront (FREE Items)
    - Awards LS / DS Points
    - Dispense Credits
    - Create Chemicals Option
    - Create Components Option
    - Receive the Lightsaber Quest Parts
    - "Train" NPC's into a Jedi Class!
    - andargor's Holowan Cloakworks 2 Disguises (over 500+)
    - Set PC / NPC's Level
    - Adjust Skill Point Levels
    - Adjust Attribute Scores
    - Special Interface for other Modder's Tools

  10. Darksword

This adds a new weapon, called a darksword, to the game. It is slightly less powerful
than a lightsaber (base damage 2-14 [2d7], +1-4 electrical damage), and is what was used
before the lightsaber was invented, particularly by the Sith. You will find the weapon
(if you look hard enough) on the Harbinger. I’m not going to say where, so if you want it,
be sure to check all over and not miss any compartments if possible.

The mod is inspired by ChAiNz.2da’s Darksword mod for KotOR II, which he released back in 2005.
While it’s a cool mod, I was never satisfied with the way the electrified blade looked in that
mod, so I made this mod to rectify that.

  12. KotOR2 Alternate Credits

    AUTHOR: HK-47
    NAME: KotOR2 Alternate Credits
CREDITS: Me because I'm superior. BioWare for making TOR, the makers of Commando for making such an awesome game, and George Lucas for making the most epic six episode movie and changing the way we look at movies and giving every generation from '77 on
something to enjoy. Also John Williams for making such epic music to tell such an epic story.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Put the original Malmov12.bik Malmov14.bik into a new folder in your SWKotOR2/movies folder called "backup" and put these in the movies folder.

COMMENTS: There is a click at the beginning of the movies. They weren't there until I mixed in the sound with RAD Video Tools. Nothing I can do about it sorry.

It took me 4 hours to do this. It's got the standard Star Wars credits music and then a mix of Balmorra music from TOR (soudns like it repeats but it doesn't) and KotOR2 music in the Light Side ending,
and Imperial music from TOR from various locations along with the first titlecard music from Commando and the music from Episode III called Padme's Ruminations. This is to give a more light side feeling to
the ending when you finish the Lightside ending and dark for the Dark Side ending rather than having the same music for both. The original credis video however is unchanged.

  13. Dance, Dance, Dance!

/*I say it is TSLRCM compatible, but it does edit the spells.2da, so if 1.8 does so, you might have to do some work.*/

    Introduction:

This started outas a bad idea, but long story short, after spending five hours hassling mira'sdialogue, trying to make Mira and the PC(who was female) dance together. Itdidn't want to work at all, and I couldn't change the camera angles becauseTK102's dlgeditor couldn't edit the angles(to my knowledge, at least) and Iread that Kotor Tool will ruin TSL dialogue files. The item I am adding to thegame is a stimulant called 'Dancer'. It had to be a stimulant, since I couldn'tmake it a shield and I wasn't sure how to make use of the 'Activate item'property on an armband.

Anyways, sorry for thelong intro. This mod lets you dance anytime you want, so long as you arefemale.(Can someone test this with a male, because I'm unsure if they have thedancer animations). You have the option of which dance animation you want to use, though I see no difference between the two. The animation will go on forever aslong as you don't move, talk, or do any action whatsoever.

    Installation:

Just run the.exe to install the mod, and pick which animation you want to use. Touninstall, just copy and paste everything in the tslpatchdata folder into youroverride, and hit 'yes to all', then hit the delete key on your keyboard.

    Bugs:

None. I managedto get it so that the item can work on two or more people at a time.

    Credits:

My patience for makingme go on, and my self-restraint for not letting me punch through my computerscreen after five hours of dilogue editing that proved useless.

  14. Irish Hat

    Original Review on Filefront:

"With St. Patricks Day around the corner in two days, its nice to have a mod that reflects the green Irish holiday that is held annually on March 17. Now, I know some of you around the world who visit this site may not know about the green holiday if thats the case, just know its a holiday where you traditionally wear green and get drunk.

Inyri Forge brings us something to celebrate the spirit of the holiday by making a nice St. Patricks Day hat to wear while either searching for the Star Forge in the first Knights of the Old Republic game or tracking down the Jedi Masters in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

I realize some of you who have some modding knowledge about how models work in both Knights of the Old Republic could be thrown off by what Im going to tell you about this mod. Inyri made one set of models that can work in both Knights of the Old Republic games. At first I thought she forgot one of the games model files and tested it out to see which one was missing and I saw that they worked in both games. Usually if one set of model files goes with one game, using it in the other game would cause your game to crash once you equip the item. So dont be alarmed if you notice it having one set of model files.

You do get a persuade and charisma bonus of +4 when wearing the hat. May I suggest a green armor or robe to go with this new addition? Who knows, maybe for Easter Inyri will make Easter Bunny ears to wear. Enjoy the mod!

Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.

  17. Sword of Gith

This mod is a new sword model, based on the Silver Sword of Gith
from Neverwinter Nights 2 and its expansion, Mask of the Betrayer.
The weapon is not available in-game as it's a bit too high-fantasy
    to fit.

To get it, type "giveitem di_sog" into the console.

  18. Lightsaber and Force Form Band

This mod consists of an arm-band for KotOR II which allows the user to give themselves any force or lightsaber form
they wish, regardless of class or place in the plot. This is meant to be a cheat item, so the player will have to
cheat it into the game. The code is “giveitem di_forms”, without the quotes.

WARNING: This mod may cause problems with learning forms from the Jedi Masters.

    Bludgeoning Damage Bonus +2
On Hit Attribute Damage Constitution DC10
    Attack Penalty -1

    Decreased Skill Modifier Awareness -2
    Reduced Saving Throws Reflex -4

To get in game type "di_bottle1" into the console, without the quotes.

A crude weapon, for a more uncivilised age, the broken bottle has been the prize weapon of drunks throughout the galaxy for millennia.

The preferred weapon of the Pot-Iid Monks, who practice the ancient martial art of Drun-K'fu,
in the right hands it can be a devastating weapon.

  20. Sonic Screwdriver

    Description

The sonic screwdriver comes from the planet Gallifrey, in the constellation
of Kasterborus, in a galaxy far, far away. Not only can it unscrew and unlock
things, it also has its uses as a weapon, particularly against machines.

    Damage Bonus, Sonic +2
Damage Bonus vs. Droids, Ion +1-4
    Repair +2

To get it in-game, it can be purchased from Dendis Dobo.
Alternatively, you can get it by typing "giveitem di_ssd_01"
and "giveitem di_ssd_02" into the console, without quote,
    and hitting the return key.

This mod adds two items to the game: a weapon, the stats of which are
outlined above, and a useable item. The useable item will allow the player
to open closed doors and unlock placeable items, dependent on scoring 15 or
higher on a random number generator out of 20. If not, the effect will fizzle.
The player also needs to have the sonic screwdriver weapon actually equipped
at the time in order to use this.

N.B.: This mod is incompatible with "Dendis' Secret Stash" mod by JCarter426.

Double click on "Install Sonic Screwdriver for KotOR 2", and hit the "Install Mod" button.

This mod adds a new player character into TSL, based on PMHC05 from KotOR I. He is a male caucasian with short brown hair. There is some retexturing, mainly in the eyes and Dark Side transitions. I have included four Dark Side transitions, each with a custom portrait.

    Original KotORFiles review:
"Inyri brings us the TSL version of her model based on the Mass Effect 2 M-98 Widow for KotOR I, which was uploaded earlier this week. Since the mod is chiefly the same as the KotOR I version (except for KotOR II, obviously ), here is the review of the K1 version:

N.B.: As this version is for TSL, the information from the KotOR I review is incorrect for the KotOR II version. This, the KotOR II version of the mod, replaces the Mandalorian Assault Rifle in TSL, and not the Sith Sniper Rifle as in KotOR I.

This is simply a blaster rifle replacement, so all of the weapons that use the w_blstrrfl_004 model will now show up as this gun, leaving it compatible with other custom blaster mods... except other replacement mods, naturally. It is specifically designed to overwrite the Mandalorian Assault Rifle (w_brifle_19.uti) due to there being no specifically-named sniper weapon in TSL.
