  1. The tool for that is ERFEdit. I don't know why this would happen, as it never happened during testing on at least four systems, plus all the ones since release, but the black screen should go away if you save and reload. Never mind, that won't do. The problem seems to occur if you click stuff or button mash during the transition between Trask joining the party and the following conversation that is supposed to trigger. We'll fix it in the next release. In the meantime, you'll have to reload and be careful.
  2. Android runs on a Java Virtual Machine, so it doesn't have the same issue that iOS does. See here.

  4. As developing such support would require hardware and software that none of us have, we don't want to make any promises that we can't keep. I wouldn't rule out the possibility either, but don't expect it anytime soon.
  5. Yeah, there is not much benefit if I still have to type out a list. I can write a program that wouldn't require that. That part is no big deal. What I'm unsure about is whether certain files would have to be edited internally. That's more involved.
  6. If you're using the Community Patch, you should install the KOTOR Community Patch-Compatible version.
  7. The script that gives you the lightsaber/lightsaber part is a_give_quest_ls. The code that determines which lightsaber you get is with the rest of the random loot in k_inc_treas_k2 as AmanoJyaku says.
  8. Try removing permov08.bik and permov09.bik from the Movies folder. It sounds like there might be an issue with the Bink videos that TSLRCM adds. This will skip the Harbinger arrival videos, but it might let you progress.
  9. Assuming I make anything that is worth anything, it wouldn't be something you could run on your end. It would be something that mod creators would run on Windows.
  10. Greetings, everyone. It's been a while. I was busier than usual over the summer, and I wanted to wait until I had a more substantial list of updates. This time, there's lots and lots of Jedi robes for KOTOR 1, new saber colors for KOTOR 1, a new modding tool that allowed for some updates, and the usual bug fixes. Updates Darksaber for K1 – Fixed an issue with the Darksaber not spawning. Also changed the installer to patch MOD files for better mod compatibility. Cloaked Jedi Robes – Made some animation improvements and converted textures to TPC format. Slave Bastila – Animation improvements, TPC format, and patching MOD files. Cloaked Jedi Robes & Supermodel Port mod resource – Updated to keep up to date with Cloaked Jedi Robes and also to include content from the new robe mods below. Lightsaber Visual Effects for K2 – I lied last time. I had forgotten to upload the K2 version. So this got the same treatment that the K1 version did, finally: alternate blue and green color options and TPC format. Jedi Tailor – Added a line of dialogue to account for a quest state I had forgotten about regarding the Sandral-Matale feud. VO Fix for K2 – Converted audio files with SithCodec. New Mods Extra Saber Colors – Adds orange, cyan, silver, viridian, and pink lightsabers to K1. Every color crystal has one drop location in the game, and crystals can be purchased on Yavin Station. Cloaked Party Robes – Gives the Jedi party members unique robes based on their clothing models. Cloaked Hybrid Robes – An alternative to Cloaked Jedi Robes, this mod adds the cloaks of the K2 robes to the K1 body models. Modding Tools SithCodec – Encodes and decodes audio for Knights of the Old Republic. Something Completely Different This month sees a much-anticipated release for KOTOR 2. The KOTOR 1 version was released a while back, and it felt like ages as we waited eagerly for the KOTOR 2 release, questioning whether it would ever see the light of day. I am of course talking about @Kexikus' High Quality Skyboxes II for KOTOR 2. Oh, and the Aspyr ports of KOTOR 2 for iOS and Android that have existed for years were finally released today, and there is now a mobile version of TSLRCM that will mostly work, and there was an accompanying update for the non-mobile version as well.
  11. Yeah, @zbyl2 and I discussed this before. As I recall, he was reluctant to replace the Vash dialogue in M4-78 because that was some of the only original game content included in the mod, but not opposed to anyone else doing so. That was in regards to replacing the voice entirely, however. If one of her voices can be cloned, there is no reason another can't be. It's simply a matter of training data, and they are both prolific voice actors. Perhaps. At the moment, voice cloning is not really being policed on YouTube. There will likely be high-profile cases involving defamation or work compensation, but I think in most cases it will be regarded as harmless and not worth fighting. It's not difficult for anyone with the technical know-how or the ability to follow a tutorial, so there's just no way to universally put a stop to it. Not unlike modding in many respects.
  12. I intend to go through the Community Patches and all my own mods to convert all files to lowercase, and due to the monotony of such a task, I'm thinking of writing a program to do it. I only own the games on Windows, so it would be help to have someone who owns them on Mac, Linux, and/or iOS and is comfortable with installing mods on any of those systems to be able to test it. Specifically, I'd like to determine to what extent it's necessary to hex edit model files that reference the names of other files (e.g. textures). If I recall correctly, @A Future Pilot reported that files packaged in RIMs and MODs also have to be renamed, so there may be a similar issue here. Note that this issue does not affect the Android version. Even though the Android operating system is Unix-based, it is designed to be case insensitive so as to behave with file systems that are not case sensitive. It'd be nice to receive confirmation on that, though.
  13. In the previous version, if you convinced the families to reconcile, the Tailor would still talk about the families being at war. That is now replaced with a line about Shen and Rahasia's engagement for that ending.
  14. You're still in a cutcene, but you're controlling your player, and you can't move but you can move the camera around with the mouse? I just tested it. Happens to me too.
  15. We knew you were up to something... It's a tough call between Nar Shaddaa and Onderon, but if I had to pick one, I would go with Onderon.
  16. Mod idea.

Interesting. Could be useful in some situations, such as when the player controls Mira in Visquis base.

I suppose Bao-Dur or T3 could give these items as consumables for the player. Or there can be a new feat chain. Many variants, I'm looking forward to what you come up with.

  17. Nah, don't worry about it. I had noticed it and was planning to take a look at it eventually anyway.
  18. You need to download both archive parts for that one. Then you should be able to extract with 7-Zip or WinRar.
  19. There are only five animations, of which I think only two are glitched, so it should be a straightforward fix. I can likely copy over the original idle animations and stretch the arms out myself. The thing is, though, when I update one of these robe mods, I have to update all of them, and I usually put doing all that off until my vacation time. If you want to remove them in the meantime, you can do so with a hex editor. Open the relevant model file, search for pause1 and pause2, and overwrite those characters with something else of the same length, like xxxxx1 and xxxxx2. That changes the names of the animations, so the model no longer overrides those animations, so it defaults to the ones on the supermodel. That will get rid of the arm glitch but bring back the arm clipping.
  20. It's version 1.4 of Cloaked Jedi Robes that adds the animation to PFBIS/PFBIM/PFBIL. I believe Cloaked Party Robes had it from 1.0.
  21. The animations are from the female robe model PFBIM, and they override the animations on the supermodel. There are two idle and three walking animations which stretch the arms out a bit more to reduce clipping with the cloak. There is no male equivalent, so Jolee is using the supermodel version. Evidently only the female animations have the glitch. It looks like in the video, you are using an older version of Cloaked Jedi Robes from before I restored the animation to the female robes. Previously I had exported them without that animation.
  22. Yes, it's not a conflict with anything you have. It's a problem with the original models that carry over to the mod versions.
  23. That is determined by the texture's alpha channel. Depending on what you did with the texture, you might have saved it without an alpha channel or you might have scaled up the RGB but not the A or some such.
  24. This seems to be an issue with the KOTOR 2 animation. As I recall, the robes have a custom idle animation to reduce clipping with the arms and the cloak. But the animation appears to have a glitch in it. I'll see if it's possible to improve that idle animation for both games when I get a chance. These are issues with Bastila and Jolee's original body models. Their skirt flaps are dangly meshes—they aren't animated. They move based on the wind and some other physics. Very limited physics. I looked into weighting Bastila's skirt flaps to the robe bones, but I couldn't get it quite right at the time. I didn't attempt it for Jolee. I was able to do it for Juhani, because she only has the back flap and that lined up with the cloak fairly well. Maybe I'll try again for the other two, but it didn't seem very promising the first time around.
  25. Yes, you can find the item names if you look inside the tslpatchdata folder. Or you can add them with KSE.
