  1. I'm looking for version 2 of this mod. I've found version 1 here: https://www.lonebullet.com/maps/download-darthdacs-warpband-knights-of-the-old-republic-map-level-free-56613.htm But it doesn't have all of the features of version 2. If anyone could give me a link, I would appreciate it. TIA.
  2. You could include the grate as an option. As a note, using this in K1, the Ebon Hawk light panels are dimmer than TSL, so the glass will be a bit dimmer and more violet. (Please note this is a test run of the original version of the textures.)
  3. It looks great with my dark sider, I like the blond guy, in black dark jedi knight robes. The silver blade is really striking with him.
  4. Red double lightsaber is my standby in both games when I'm playing dark side. Violet or silver is another favorite. Double bladed, of course. My ds Exile tends to favor the silver double blade. Then in my last play through I discovered the Mantle of the Force, and my light side Revan favors that. But there is a black lightsaber that my ds Revan may prefer, one that I had taken from a mod and customized. I'm also working on a multi-color blade. For the game. Myself, I would go with a double bladed saber with red, black, silver, or violet blade. The violet would favor more of a blue, not the pink in the game.
  5. Had Nar Shaddaa theme music in my head all day long. Yesterday, too. Now uninstalling and reinstalling TSL for a clean start after all of my experiments. Tomorrow it will be a install of a second K1, to have different sets of mods. It's funny how I sometimes want to play the other game when I'm playing k1 or k2.

An entire hour of that, lol!

Cantina music in Star Wars has always been distinctive. I like the ones in both Kotors.

  6. This. We've seen what happens when a game gets rushed for a deadline. No different for mods.
  7. I'm thinking of installing a second KOTOR, GOG version, to play with a different set of mods. I already have the Steam version running. Will KSE recognize both sets of saves? It picks up both my TSL regular saves and the Steam cloud saves.
  8. Is it possible to upload the 4k version here in parts? I get network errors downloading large files from Nexus😢 Thanks😄
  9. @milestails, I'd like a copy, too, please. TIA
  10. Wild horses couldn't drag me to watch that. First time I won't be seeing a Star Wars in a theater. I saw each of the original trilogy on opening night as a kid. The feeling is so much different. Nothing to be excited about these days. The last two movies I felt indifference. Though I liked Solo. Looking forward to Mandalorians and new Clone Wars.
  11. These do reference to the Star Forge. They interfere with the first cutscene with Malak on the Star Forge. Easy work around, just delete the two files.
  12. I was having the same problem, first cutscene with Malak on the Star Forge, It played only a second or two, no dialogue, then there were non aggressive battle droids just within the next sets of doors. Other battle droids that came up were aggressive, but had a hard time getting around the first ones that just sat there. Beyond the next set of doors was the second Sith and Jedi battle- with Darth Malak just standing there reacting to nothing. So I went through all of the mods I had installed, and narrowed the problem to one: The n_sithappren001.utc amd n_sithappren002.utc was interfering with the cutscene. Perhaps the Sith apprentices on the Star Forge have the same file names. Easy solution, just remember to delete the two files before going to the Star Forge. I would look for .utc files, especially any that might be associated with the Star Forge in some way. I have a Malak retex and that doesn't cause any problems.
  13. Had an awesome dream. Korriban is settled by miners and others seeking their fortune. The ancient Sith are returning from the depths of the planet with plans of conquest.

The colonists have to kill some monstrous creatures they had captured because the Sith could control the creatures from afar. One man sacrificed himself to kill one creature- a huge white spider like thing- that could not be killed otherwise. Who knows what other and how many other creatures there are in the depths of Korriban.

The Jedi are long in coming. Korriban was settled by the colonists against all advice of Jedi and Republic alike. No one wants to risk great loss by coming to the planet.

The Sith themselves are very mysterious. Of the old bloodlines, and unknown what powers they have and what they can do and what they will do. Very dark, of course.

Very realistic. As if KOTOR was brought to real life. The atmosphere and feeling was incredible.

Probably inspired my old head canon of Sith still living deep within Korriban. All pre-TOR.

  14. Kotor was released first for Xbox months before the PC version, and Xor is human in the Xbox version. The devs most likely intended him to be human. Did they goof up on the PC version? Probably. It's difficult to see him as anything but human given his nature. (Though I favor what fits in game over what devs intended, because sometimes you never know what they intended.)
  15. I think a major point about k1 and k2 the Jedi sometimes don't have the best sense about affairs of state. Look at the Clone Wars. But you would think that a expert Kavar - a master of strategy - to know better.
  16. Basic Forms: Shii-Jo, Makashi, Soresu, Force Channel. Every basic Jedi class learns these at different levels and different order, depending on the class. Advanced: Ataru, Shien, Niman, Juyo. Each leaned at a different order of Jedi Masters found depending on Class. Learned by Guardian, Sentinel, Weapon Master, Marauder, Watchman, Assassin. Each of these classes learn only three of these four forms, depending on their class, and in which order of Jedi Master found. Potency, Affinity, Mastery, learned only by Consular, Jedi Master, Sith Lord. All in the same order as Jedi Masters found. In all, 7 forms are learned by the character, rate and order depending on class. Here's a link for more detail https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Knights_of_the_Old_Republic_II:_The_Sith_Lords/Forms

Nice work! Now I have a better look at the bands in her hair.
  18. They have a steady glow in both games. But no change in brightness. I just checked the Taris tourist protocol droids, and the Czerka one in the Telos shield.
  19. That would have been hilarious. Especially before the big reveal. Was there a version for K1? Or is it, hey, that's the General!?
  20. LOL, probably never did. You would think with how strong in the Force Revan is, that someone would believe you. Can you imagine, playing the game, suddenly some random person on the street yells, hey, that's Revan!
  21. Very good point. My light side character goes to Korriban second because that's generally when Carth's quest to get Dustil out of there kicks in on Tatoine. My dark side character goes to Korriban second because he wants to see the place, and doesn't want to seem too eager to go the place. Carth's quest is a convenient excuse to go there second. I've tried the Korriban last route once with a dark side character, and the extra dialogue was rather meh. They don't believe you, anyways, plus my character doesn't need to talk about being Revan. He's more focused on getting the job done and getting the Star Forge back.
  22. I feel you, friend. Sometimes every thing seems focused on K2. Fortunately the UNIWS is very easy to install. There's a couple of profiles for K1 for Steam Controller Companion. They are not great, but they are easy to use. Perhaps one day after all my other projects and their learning curves, I will make a much better profile for K1.
  23. I go to Tattoine first because I tend to get Mission's quest to find her brother first. Then while I am there, I get Bastila's quest with her mother, then after completing Tattoine, I get Carth's quest for Korriban.
  24. K1 was the first video game I' ve played. It was so awesome that I played it six months straight. Didn't do anything else besides sleep, go to work. I ended up saving money, lol. I got a 360 later to check out Oblivion.
