    I'm kind of pissed that Disney erased the entire Expanded Universe, in the interest of "an original story", only now to have the first Sequel as a more violent remake of A New Hope.

    But still, there are many bootlickers in charge of Star Wars who try to please the fanboys. The Force Awakens is essentially a more violent remake of A New Hope, and on Rotten Tomatoes, it has about the same rating as A New Hope. I'm pretty sure a reviewer said that Episode VII pretty much has the same plot as A New Hope, but that's what they wanted. And I think that was the reason the Prequels weren't universally loved, because they were different from the Original Trilogy.

    Judging from what I've heard, The Force Awakens sounds like a future reboot of Star Wars. Let's see what's similar between Episode VII and A New Hope: Protagonist comes from desert planet, check. Villains have planet destroying (or star system destroying) superweapon, check. Said villains use said weapon to destroy a planet in order to intimidate the galaxy, check. Superweapon looks like a planet, check. Said superweapon is destroyed by X-Wings, check. Old guy dies, check. Antagonist is somehow related to the heroes, check. Superweapon tries to destroy good guys' base and fails, check. Is there any other similarities that I've missed?

    KOTOR II was an amazing game with the Star Wars brand. EA could learn a thing or two from it. You don't need DLC to make a successful game, just a great plot and non-glitchy gameplay.
