  1. New Saber Blades

MOD FOR STAR WARS: Knights of the Old Republic and STAR WARS: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
    ==============================================================
    New Saber Blades, v3.2
    Author: DeadMan

    What is this?
I've never liked original KotOR sabers. Their blades looked so ugly, so I was wondering if developers have seen SW movies at all...
And then, Shem released his "Prequel Sabers 2.0" MOD. He made blades look almost like in the movies, but something was wrong. Sabers are not flicking like ones in movies! It's not Shem's fault, but developers...
And I decided to fix it. This MOD will make sabers flicking.

This mod is compatible with both K1 and TSL.

    ==============================================================
Installation: drop all files to your Override directory.

    ==============================================================
    Credits:
Shem - I used his "Prequel Sabers 2.0" MOD as texture base for this work.

Special thanks to Shaggoth, he knows for what.

  2. Ep. 3 Anakin Skywalker

STAR WARS: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords MOD
    ==============================================================
    Ep. 3 Anakin Skywalker
    Mod version: ALPHA-2
    Author: DeadMan

    ==============================================================
    What is this?
This mod adds a new head for your character - it's my attempt to make Anakin skin.

Head model and textures still need a lot of tweaking, but people keep asking me to release this as soon as possible, so here you go.
This skin is still W.I.P. Maybe one day I'll have more free time to finish it... until that time, consider it like a 'modding resourse' of some sort.

    ==============================================================
Installation: just run the installer called setup.exe

When I released it on Filefront I've received a lot of messages that on some PC head skin didn't worked right. In this version I've included hotfix for that.
Normally, you WILL NOT need to install it, BUT if you get white head without textures in game - manually copy all files from included 'alt_textures' folder to your Override and overwrite exiting files.

  3. Vibrosword replacement pack

I've got tired of standart ingame vibroswords and was looking for mods which will replace them with high(er) quality models.
While looking for KotOR models I've found an intresting mod for Jedi Academy made by RevanDark which added tons of new weapons. I especially liked the look of 'Cyber Ninja' swords and I thought it will be great to have such swords in KotOR...

So, this mod will replace standart vibroswords with cool "Cyber Ninja" swords. I've managed to convert models and re-create glowing effect for the blades.
Mod will not change stats of weapons.

Credit goes to RevanDark for creating original JA models.

  4. Movie Mandalorians

I've never liked the KotOR Mandalorians. I wished them to look like Jango and Boba Fett. I mean, I wished them to have Fett-style armors and helmets.
So, I've tried to make such mod. It is not perfect, but I hope you'll like it. It will change the appearance of all Mandalorians in the game, including Mandalore (he transformed into Jango).

    Features:
    - Changed appearance of ALL Mandalorians in game. Now they use completely new armors and helmets, which are made in style of Jango and Boba Fett.
    - Mandalore transformed into Jango Fett. Available two versions of his armor - with jetpack and without it. You may use any, because now you can unequip his armor (and see Canderous).
    - Bralor transformed into Boba Fett. I've also made him more dangerous opponent in the Battle Circle (since you may use anything when you fight him he was too easy to beat. And they call him a champion?!)
    - Kelborn now have unique armor.
    - New Mandalorian armors for your PC and party members. At this point, they are available for male characters only.
    - Mandalore comes equipped with 2 Westar Blaster pistols and special Mandalorian flamethrower. For those of you who like Boba I also provided EE-3 Blaster rifle. All this items are quite powerfull, but IMO that will not break game's balance ('cause ranged weapons are NOT effective in TSL).

    Credits:
    - NeoMarz1 - for creating awesome Mandalorian model for Jedi Academy. I've used this model in this version of MOD.
    - Don Kain - I've used some texture parts (symbol on Kelborn's armor) from his JA mandalorian skinpack.
    - Creator of original textures for Westar blaster pistol (sorry, I don't know your name)
    - Orsan - I used&altered 2 textures he made for KotOR1 (Boba and Jango armors on the upgrade screen).
    - Lit Ridl - for allowing me to modify his flamethrower script.

  5. Quarterstaff Replacement Pack

    1. What is this?
Are you tired of awfull look of quarterstaffs? No? Hey, I know you don’t use them, but a lot of NPCs do, so this mod will replace them with better looking models.

I’ve also made some interesting changes to these weapons:
    - Handmaiden’s staff is now double-bladed sword with retractable blades (huge thanks to SithSpecter for allowing me to use his awesome Yinchorr Dueling Sword model) and deals a bit more damage (not too much, just enough for you to keep this blade until you train her as Jedi)
    - Guidon Beacon, which was restored in TSLRCM will have unique model.
    - My favorite, Geonosian Electrostaff. It now looks more like staffs which Magnaguards used in episode 3 (electrical field will turn on and off, and it also have custom sounds)

    2. Why should I install it?
To make your game look better, of course!

    3. How to install?
Just run TSL Patcher, it will do everything for you.

    4. Compatibility.
    Compatible with TSLRCM.
Not compatible with other mods which alter ingame quarterstaff models.

    5. Credits.
SithSpecter - for allowing me to use his awesome Yinchorr Dueling Sword model.
RevanDark and AshuraDX – I used some texture parts from their JA mods.

    Conditions of Use:
You are free to use this models as you like as long as you give proper credit to me, except for the Handmaiden’s staff model. For that one, ask permission from SithSpecter.
One more exception: Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES ANY OF MY MODS TO BE UPLOADED TO STEAM WORKSHOP.

  6. Movie-style Jedi Master robes

Like most of K2 fans I never liked the look of Jedi Master style robes. Padawan robes looked much more movie-like to me. But I also didn't liked the idea of replacement master style robes with padawan models and new textures. IMO, they MUST have different models. So, I've started this MOD.
I have remade both male and female master robe models to look more like in the movies. Models were inspired by the robe which Obi-Wan had in episode III.
New textures for all master style ingame robes are included, and new icons aswell.

At this poind the mod is compatible with following mods (just be sure to install this mod after others):
    - TSLRCM (I tested with v1.7)
    - The Prestige Item Pack by RedHawke & maverick187
    - Movie Jedi Robes and High General Obi Wan Kenobi Robe by Don Kain
    - Tomb of Azgath N'Dul by Darth InSidious
    - Any mod, which don't add master-style robes

If you have installed ANY OTHER MOD which adds new Jedi Master style robes - it won't work. Modified textures, which were made for original ingame model will look awfull with my models. Sorry, I can't track all incoming mods, so it's up to mod authors to redraw textures to fit new UVW map.

    Credits:
    - HapSlash - for awesome ep3 Obi-Wan and Anakin models which he made for Jedi Academy.
    - Spanki - for some great textures which are partially used in this mod
    - Don Kain - for allowing me to include his Movie Jedi Robes

  8. HQ Movies Update Patch (all 6 parts)

    HQ Movies Update Patch

Here we have a fairly massive patch that comes in 6 parts. What this patch does is make all your kotor2 pre-rendered cut scenes a slightly higher quality. So no more squinting at the screen trying to make out details - or at least a little less squinting.

    Warning:
These movies weren't re-shot in high-res; they were just up-scaled to 1600x1200, which is why they they won't be leaps and bounds over what you already have.

    Steam and GOG KOTOR2 Users:
This patch is already included in Steam and GOG versions of the game. Do not install this with Steam and GOG versions.

    Installation:
Install this patch before you install TSLRCM. TSLRCM has a few movie fixes that will override some of the movies in this patch and that is completely intended.

NOTE: You must have at least 2 Gigs of free Hard Drive space to run this patch.

    - Copy the K2_HQ_PATCH_Movies executable into the root game directory
    (default C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2)
    - Double-click on the K2_HQ_PATCH\Movies executable to run the program.
    - Wait while the files copy to the game folder. When the window disappears, you're done!

    Uninstall:
There is no uninstall method. Reinstall the game if for some reason you don't wish to use this patch.

    Legalese:
This asset patch is supplied for use AS IS and is not officially supported by LucasArts or Obsidian Entertainment. LucasArts and Obsidian Entertainment will not offer customer support in the installation or application of these assets and are not responsible for any problems which may arise from their use. 9. PMHH01 Reskin to Mullet Man with Movie Dark SIde Transitions

Description: I always hated the zombie looking dark side transitions that Kotor brought, and when Shem released his Movie Style Dark Side transition mod, I immediately downloaded it. However, DarthParametric released a skin of PMHH01 to look like Mullet Man from Kotor 1, and that is my favorite reskin. It did not include any movie style dark side transitions, so I decided to skin some myself. Original credit goes to DarthParametric for the awesome skin. Portraits are included, however they aren't the best, as I am still getting used to modding. Constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Installation: Drop all files in the override folder of your KotOR 2 Directory.

Bugs: None that I have seen, let me know if any do pop up.

Notes: This does work with my PMHH01 fix, you may download both in whichever order you choose.

  10. Exile's Clothes

I looked over my Gray Jedi Robe mod and noticed you don't get it for a while in the game, so I decided to make a mod that gives the Exile some clothes to match the robe (before you get the robe itself). These do have stat upgrades so that way you can power on through Telos. They are found on the Harbinger when you get to your quarters.

    Installation: Drag files to Override

Please make a backup of your Kreia.dlg file, as this does contain the script to fire when you enter the Harbinger.

Bugs: None known, PM with any and I will see what I can do.

  13. Visas Marr's Robe fix

This small modification allows Visas Marr to wear the Jedi's robes, that is, the Jedi's robes will now be fully displayed on it.
I really did not like that the original Jedi robes (for example, Jedi robes and Jedi Knight robes) do not show up on Visas.  It also made the original Visas clothes unhealthy.  Now, this model can be seen only if you wear ordinary clothes.  I strongly recommend using it with TSL Improved Party Outfits - this will also give the original robe Visas more uniqueness.

  15. JC's Fashion Line B: Commoner Clothing for K2

    This mod does several things:
It makes all texture variations of the commoner clothing available to the  player, with all the items - 11 total outfits - placed in various locations  throughout the game. I've placed them where those outfits seemed to be the most popular, so if you see an NPC wearing an outfit you haven't seen before, the item can probably be found nearby. It changes which clothing item the player receives on Telos, based on class as seen in the character creation menu. Only the first clothing item the player receives will be based on their class; players of all classes will still be able to find the other variants elsewhere in the game. It adds a male variant of the Czerka uniform to match the existing female texture. For whatever reason there wasn't a male variant, so I've cobbled together one from the female variant and the other male textures. It shuffles around some of the textures so the male and female variants match each other more closely, primarily based on color. I've made sure to patch any affected characters to revert their outfits to their original appearances. It adds unique icons and names to all the items, so you can tell them apart. (They were all just called "Clothing" before.) I've named them based on who in the game wears them; for example, two of the outfits popular on Dantooine I've named "Settler Clothing" and "Fringer Clothing". The icons display both the male and female variants of each item, due to the differing appearances. It adds custom icons for Atton's Ribbed Jacket and Mira's Ballistic Mesh Jacket. They originally used the same icon as commoner variant #1, and since I changed that to look like the commoner clothing I saw it fit to give the unique items their own icons as well. It touches up several of the male textures to fix some discoloration and bad seams. I have also included an option to give the commoner clothing some upgrade capabilities. If you choose this option, you'll be able to upgrade the clothing items with some underlays, the same upgrades available to the miner uniform.

  16. Kotor 1 Texture to Kotor 2 Game Bridge

A friend suggested that I upload these here since finding these darn things is quite a chore, and because the difference is honestly quite dramatic.
It really is what it says on the tin. I took a bunch of Kotor 1 files and collected those that were downgraded for Kotor 2 (Obsidian literally saved them at a smaller resolution for no adequately explained reason other than perhaps to save resources for console release or because the engine was lagging)
So, it's a quick texture swap.

I've included a far more in-depth explanation for installing in the readme, but the gist is, you drop these in your override to install them and remove them from your override to uninstall them.

I obviously take no credit for these nor do I claim any rights/give permissions in their usage.

If you wish, I can provide a TXT document listing all of the textures for using your own Kotor 1 files instead of these.

  18. TSL NPC Stat Fixes Mod

TSL NPC Stat Fixes by Mellowtron11

Description- This mod is intended to fix some of the inconsistencies found with your party members’ stats and feats in TSL as listed below.
    · Adjust a few skill point allocations that were excessive for the NPC’s skill rate and level
    · Add or remove feats and powers based on the NPC’s starting level limit, class and playstyle
    · If needed, add or subtract a few attribute points from the NPC
For instance, how does Visas have such low HP and FP stats for a level 6 sentinel? Or how do the Disciple and Handmaiden have a +5 in stealth, despite being level 6 soldiers with 10 Intelligence? This mod intends to fix these little oversights.

    Installation-
Copy and paste or drag and drop all the UTC files into your override folder.

    Installation Notes-
A new game is recommended for this mod, as to not conflict with the current. utc files from your party’s NPCs. To have the mod take effect, load a save game before your party members join your team (load a save with a different module before you enter a new area where the respective NPC shows up for the first time). If you install this mod after party members have joined your group, the intended changes will not take effect for the party members already joined and will instead continue to show the original stats.

    Uninstallation-
Delete the proper files from your override folder

    Known Bugs-
None, but if there are any, please message me at Deadly Stream. All of these characters have been tested, with the exception of Hanharr and Disciple, as I’ve never played a dark side character or female in TSL (yet).

Permissions- Please do not claim credit for this mod or redistribute it without the author’s explicit permission.

    Thanks-
-Bioware, Obsidian and Lucasarts for an amazing pair of RPG games.

    · Level 3 HP set to 27 (down from 36)
    · Level 3 FP set to 33 (down from 49)
    · Removed force sensitive feat
    · Set charisma to 10 (1-let’s face it, she’s has a high enough wisdom score, 2-she’s neutral, so having a high charisma is moot for reduced opposite alignment costs for force powers and 3- she’s not that charismatic of a person anyway)
    · Added wound power, as Kreia was one power short for her level and because she also is seen using this power several times over the course of the game

    Handmaiden
    · Set treat injury skill to 8, awareness skill at 2, and stealth to 0

    Visas
    · Proper level 6 stats set at 54 HP and 42 FP
    · Added burst of speed power, as Visas was one power short for her current level
    · Removed the lightsaber focus feat, as that feat is something the Exile can teach her
    · Removed first rank of two weapon fighting feat so the player has more leeway on deciding whether to go the two-weapon route or dueling route with her

    HK-47
    · Added improved power blast feat, as HK was one feat short for his level
    · Set starting HP to 78
    · Set Repair to 8
    · Strength set to 14 (down from 16)

    Disciple
    · Set both charisma and wisdom to 12 so he can have a couple more points in wisdom when he becomes a Jedi Consular (so the player doesn’t have to drop the first couple attributes points into Wisdom for only a mediocre bonus)
    · Set treat injury skill to 8, awareness skill to 2 (Without any bonuses from WIS) and stealth to 0
    · Removed close combat, rapid shot and superior weapon focus lightsaber II feats

    Mira
    · Added the flurry feat and medium armor proficiency feat (Scouts got these feats for free in KOTOR 1)
    · Set Wisdom stat to 12 (up from 11)

    G0-T0
    · Level 6 HP set at 54 HP
    · Set strength and charisma at 8 (Down from 10)
    · Set Dexterity to 16 (down from 18)
    · Added class skill: stealth feat, given G0-T0’s inherent cloaking ability
    · Removed improved gear head feat and the close combat feat

    Mandalore
    · Set stealth to 0, persuade to 0, Demolitions to 3, Awareness to 8 and Treat injury to 9
    · Removed improved power blast and close combat feats

    Hanharr
    · Added first rank of two-weapon fighting to feats list
    · Removed heavy armor proficiency feat

  19. TOR Ports: Kira Carsen Female Player Head for TSL

This mod adds the head model of the Jedi Knight companion Kira Carsen from The Old Republic MMO, ported to TSL as a selectable player head for female characters. TOR uses the same base head mesh for Kira and Meetra Surik, so this was basically a two-for-one deal since the most difficult part is reskinning the face.
    A few notes:
While aligned as closely as possible, the neckline probably won't match perfectly. Expect some visible gaps on body models that don't hide the join. The TOR head models use separate textures for the face, eyes, and hair. In order to allow for DS transitions, these had to be merged together (and the UVs adjusted to match). The eyes are the big loser in this. They went from having their own dedicated 256x256 texture to being shrunk down to a corner where they could be squeezed in. An additional consequence of the texture merge is no normal maps, due to the hair requiring alpha masking. TOR heavily relies on tint mapping textures for variation - skin tone, hair colour, eye colour, etc. Unfortunately, while the tint colours are available in the material files, the specifics of their shaders are currently unknown to me, so the best I can do is experiment with various blend modes to approximate the look. It may require some further experimentation and kludging. Not even having specularity, much less the advanced (by comparison) graphical features of TOR, expect textures to look pretty flat by comparison to the originals. KOTOR has a maximum bone limit per mesh of 16. This creates a problem for TOR meshes, as adding the eyelids to the face bone array pushes that to 18. I had to drop 2 bones to make it work. I chose the two nose corner bones, as they seemed the least important. I don't know what effect this may have on various facial animations though. The hair meshes are currently completely rigid. Possibly I may add a danglymesh version in a future update. Dark Side transitions are included, but they are relatively mild. I'm not a big fan of the zombie look. Installation
If you are using TSLRCM or the hybrid TSLRCM + M4-78 from the Steam Workshop, make sure to choose its Workshop folder as the installation location, not the main game folder.

The hair mesh is currently using skin weights and is fairly rigid. Possibly I may add a danglymesh version in a future update. The underside of the hair at the back of the neck is fairly bare. I may add some additional hair elements in a future update. Dark Side transitions are included, but they are relatively mild. I'm not a big fan of the zombie look. Installation:

A unique underwear model is included, but the join line between the body and head is very apparent. I gather TOR is doing something to blend the join seamlessly, but I’m not able to replicate it. 24. Jolee as PC

This mod will add Jolee from Kotor as a playable character in Kotor 2 TSL. The head replaces the black, bearded bald guy.

Note: The animations differ a little from the default heads in Kotor 2. Jolee seems to be much less calm and always looking around. This is not a bug, but his unique animation from Kotor.

  25. Mandalore Unbearded

    Description

This mod is another file I found on my hard drive from years ago.
By merging Kavar's head texture with Mandalore's, I managed to remove the latter's beard.
For anyone who wanted Mandalore minus the beard. The disadvantage of this is that the texture is now
half the size of Mandalore's standard head texture.
I make no claims as to the quality of the work; this is a very old mod.

    Installation
Just drop the files "P_CandH03.tga" and "P_CandH03.txi" into your Override folder.

    Uninstallation
    Take them out again.
