  2. Visas Marr's Robe fix

This small modification allows Visas Marr to wear the Jedi's robes, that is, the Jedi's robes will now be fully displayed on it.
I really did not like that the original Jedi robes (for example, Jedi robes and Jedi Knight robes) do not show up on Visas.  It also made the original Visas clothes unhealthy.  Now, this model can be seen only if you wear ordinary clothes.  I strongly recommend using it with TSL Improved Party Outfits - this will also give the original robe Visas more uniqueness.

  4. JC's Fashion Line B: Commoner Clothing for K2

    This mod does several things:
It makes all texture variations of the commoner clothing available to the  player, with all the items - 11 total outfits - placed in various locations  throughout the game. I've placed them where those outfits seemed to be the most popular, so if you see an NPC wearing an outfit you haven't seen before, the item can probably be found nearby. It changes which clothing item the player receives on Telos, based on class as seen in the character creation menu. Only the first clothing item the player receives will be based on their class; players of all classes will still be able to find the other variants elsewhere in the game. It adds a male variant of the Czerka uniform to match the existing female texture. For whatever reason there wasn't a male variant, so I've cobbled together one from the female variant and the other male textures. It shuffles around some of the textures so the male and female variants match each other more closely, primarily based on color. I've made sure to patch any affected characters to revert their outfits to their original appearances. It adds unique icons and names to all the items, so you can tell them apart. (They were all just called "Clothing" before.) I've named them based on who in the game wears them; for example, two of the outfits popular on Dantooine I've named "Settler Clothing" and "Fringer Clothing". The icons display both the male and female variants of each item, due to the differing appearances. It adds custom icons for Atton's Ribbed Jacket and Mira's Ballistic Mesh Jacket. They originally used the same icon as commoner variant #1, and since I changed that to look like the commoner clothing I saw it fit to give the unique items their own icons as well. It touches up several of the male textures to fix some discoloration and bad seams. I have also included an option to give the commoner clothing some upgrade capabilities. If you choose this option, you'll be able to upgrade the clothing items with some underlays, the same upgrades available to the miner uniform.

  5. Kotor 1 Texture to Kotor 2 Game Bridge

A friend suggested that I upload these here since finding these darn things is quite a chore, and because the difference is honestly quite dramatic.
It really is what it says on the tin. I took a bunch of Kotor 1 files and collected those that were downgraded for Kotor 2 (Obsidian literally saved them at a smaller resolution for no adequately explained reason other than perhaps to save resources for console release or because the engine was lagging)
So, it's a quick texture swap.

I've included a far more in-depth explanation for installing in the readme, but the gist is, you drop these in your override to install them and remove them from your override to uninstall them.

I obviously take no credit for these nor do I claim any rights/give permissions in their usage.

If you wish, I can provide a TXT document listing all of the textures for using your own Kotor 1 files instead of these.

  7. TSL NPC Stat Fixes Mod

TSL NPC Stat Fixes by Mellowtron11

Description- This mod is intended to fix some of the inconsistencies found with your party members’ stats and feats in TSL as listed below.
    · Adjust a few skill point allocations that were excessive for the NPC’s skill rate and level
    · Add or remove feats and powers based on the NPC’s starting level limit, class and playstyle
    · If needed, add or subtract a few attribute points from the NPC
For instance, how does Visas have such low HP and FP stats for a level 6 sentinel? Or how do the Disciple and Handmaiden have a +5 in stealth, despite being level 6 soldiers with 10 Intelligence? This mod intends to fix these little oversights.

    Installation-
Copy and paste or drag and drop all the UTC files into your override folder.

    Installation Notes-
A new game is recommended for this mod, as to not conflict with the current. utc files from your party’s NPCs. To have the mod take effect, load a save game before your party members join your team (load a save with a different module before you enter a new area where the respective NPC shows up for the first time). If you install this mod after party members have joined your group, the intended changes will not take effect for the party members already joined and will instead continue to show the original stats.

    Uninstallation-
Delete the proper files from your override folder

    Known Bugs-
None, but if there are any, please message me at Deadly Stream. All of these characters have been tested, with the exception of Hanharr and Disciple, as I’ve never played a dark side character or female in TSL (yet).

Permissions- Please do not claim credit for this mod or redistribute it without the author’s explicit permission.

    Thanks-

    Changelog V.1.3
Replaced Atton’s Weapon Focus: Blaster Pistol feat with the Conditioning perk, as this feat has more utility for Atton during the whole game and fits his defensive character style. Changelog V.1.2
    · Added separate folder for Hanharr’s UTC, as TSLRCM has a modified Hanharr UTC file in the override folder already

    Changelog V.1.1
(All of the changes from 1.0 remain the same unless otherwise noted)

    Atton
    · Set treat injury to 1 and computer use to 4

    HK-47
    · Set HP to 72

    Mira
    · Set Constitution to 13

    Handmaiden
    · Set Constitution to 15 and Charisma to 12

    Hanharr
    · Removed improved power attack feat

    Changelog V.1.0

    T3-M4
    · Level 3 HP set at 24 HP
    · Set Natural AC at 2 (up from 0), bringing defense to 16. This is done to match the other 2 droid NPCs who have a natural +2 to AC

    Atton
    · Set wisdom to 12

    Kreia
    · Level 3 HP set to 27 (down from 36)
    · Level 3 FP set to 33 (down from 49)
    · Removed force sensitive feat
    · Set charisma to 10 (1-let’s face it, she’s has a high enough wisdom score, 2-she’s neutral, so having a high charisma is moot for reduced opposite alignment costs for force powers and 3- she’s not that charismatic of a person anyway)
    · Added wound power, as Kreia was one power short for her level and because she also is seen using this power several times over the course of the game

    Handmaiden
    · Set treat injury skill to 8, awareness skill at 2, and stealth to 0

    Visas
    · Proper level 6 stats set at 54 HP and 42 FP
    · Added burst of speed power, as Visas was one power short for her current level
    · Removed the lightsaber focus feat, as that feat is something the Exile can teach her
    · Removed first rank of two weapon fighting feat so the player has more leeway on deciding whether to go the two-weapon route or dueling route with her

    HK-47
    · Added improved power blast feat, as HK was one feat short for his level
    · Set starting HP to 78
    · Set Repair to 8
    · Strength set to 14 (down from 16)

    Disciple
    · Set both charisma and wisdom to 12 so he can have a couple more points in wisdom when he becomes a Jedi Consular (so the player doesn’t have to drop the first couple attributes points into Wisdom for only a mediocre bonus)
    · Set treat injury skill to 8, awareness skill to 2 (Without any bonuses from WIS) and stealth to 0
    · Removed close combat, rapid shot and superior weapon focus lightsaber II feats

    Mira
    · Added the flurry feat and medium armor proficiency feat (Scouts got these feats for free in KOTOR 1)
    · Set Wisdom stat to 12 (up from 11)

    G0-T0
    · Level 6 HP set at 54 HP
    · Set strength and charisma at 8 (Down from 10)
    · Set Dexterity to 16 (down from 18)
    · Added class skill: stealth feat, given G0-T0’s inherent cloaking ability
    · Removed improved gear head feat and the close combat feat

    Mandalore
    · Set stealth to 0, persuade to 0, Demolitions to 3, Awareness to 8 and Treat injury to 9
    · Removed improved power blast and close combat feats

    Hanharr
    · Added first rank of two-weapon fighting to feats list
    · Removed heavy armor proficiency feat

  8. TOR Ports: Kira Carsen Female Player Head for TSL

This mod adds the head model of the Jedi Knight companion Kira Carsen from The Old Republic MMO, ported to TSL as a selectable player head for female characters. TOR uses the same base head mesh for Kira and Meetra Surik, so this was basically a two-for-one deal since the most difficult part is reskinning the face.
    A few notes:
While aligned as closely as possible, the neckline probably won't match perfectly. Expect some visible gaps on body models that don't hide the join. The TOR head models use separate textures for the face, eyes, and hair. In order to allow for DS transitions, these had to be merged together (and the UVs adjusted to match). The eyes are the big loser in this. They went from having their own dedicated 256x256 texture to being shrunk down to a corner where they could be squeezed in. An additional consequence of the texture merge is no normal maps, due to the hair requiring alpha masking. TOR heavily relies on tint mapping textures for variation - skin tone, hair colour, eye colour, etc. Unfortunately, while the tint colours are available in the material files, the specifics of their shaders are currently unknown to me, so the best I can do is experiment with various blend modes to approximate the look. It may require some further experimentation and kludging. Not even having specularity, much less the advanced (by comparison) graphical features of TOR, expect textures to look pretty flat by comparison to the originals. KOTOR has a maximum bone limit per mesh of 16. This creates a problem for TOR meshes, as adding the eyelids to the face bone array pushes that to 18. I had to drop 2 bones to make it work. I chose the two nose corner bones, as they seemed the least important. I don't know what effect this may have on various facial animations though. The hair meshes are currently completely rigid. Possibly I may add a danglymesh version in a future update. Dark Side transitions are included, but they are relatively mild. I'm not a big fan of the zombie look. Installation
If you are using TSLRCM or the hybrid TSLRCM + M4-78 from the Steam Workshop, make sure to choose its Workshop folder as the installation location, not the main game folder.

  13. Jolee as PC

This mod will add Jolee from Kotor as a playable character in Kotor 2 TSL. The head replaces the black, bearded bald guy.

Note: The animations differ a little from the default heads in Kotor 2. Jolee seems to be much less calm and always looking around. This is not a bug, but his unique animation from Kotor.

  14. Mandalore Unbearded

    Description

This mod is another file I found on my hard drive from years ago.
By merging Kavar's head texture with Mandalore's, I managed to remove the latter's beard.
For anyone who wanted Mandalore minus the beard. The disadvantage of this is that the texture is now
half the size of Mandalore's standard head texture.
I make no claims as to the quality of the work; this is a very old mod.

    Installation
Just drop the files "P_CandH03.tga" and "P_CandH03.txi" into your Override folder.

    Uninstallation
    Take them out again.

    Description
    ***********
This is a retexture/recolor for DeadMan's [K1] Vibroswords replacement pack
and Seph6 [K1] Vibroblades and Vibro double-blades replacement pack.
It will replace the standard vibroswords, vibroblades and vibro double-blades with new models.
The "new" textures looks similar to original game weapons. Colors match to those made by BioWare (mostly).
Every blade looks like it was vibrating and there are more color options than in original mods.
New icons clearly shows color of blade and hilt.

  16. JC's Shader Fixes for K2

When they made K2, Obsidian removed several shaders from characters that had them in K1. I suspect this was part of a systematic effort to improve performance on the Xbox. There's no such technical limitation on modern computers, however. But the perplexing thing about it is the shaders weren't just removed, but for some characters you can't even give them shaders in the conventional way that would always work in K1. There is another way, oen that other mods have used already, but I think it's a bit of a hack method. Even though I've used it myself for years, I never released my work as a mod because the installation process is less than ideal. Recent insights, however, have allowed me to finally understand why the heck this happens and come up with an alternative solution that doesn't require mucking around in appearance.2da.
This mod alters the appearance of certain characters in the game, giving them shaders, making them nice and shiny. The affected characters are Mandalorians, T3-M4, and all the HK units (HK-47, the 50s, and the 51s).
For the Mandalorians, I can safely say their shaders are just straight up missing. They're shiny in K1 and not in K2. In K1 they only ever appear in small numbers, but in K2 there's a whole camp of them on Dxun - I think that was the problem for the poor little Xbox. I've made them shiny again, though I didn't just copy the alpha channel from K1 as I didn't particularly care for it. It looked like there was too much contrast to me, with some parts having no shader and then parts right next to them were totally shiny. I tried to make mine subtler so all the metal pieces have a mild shine, with none on the body glove.
I've also fixed some other issues present on the Mandalorian model. One of the finger bones was visible and there were some smoothing and weighting errors. The HK-51s aren't even in the original release of the game. But HK-47 is quite shiny in K1 and I think the later models ought to be as well. While the 51s don't appear and the 50s only appear in small numbers, there was supposed to be an entire factory of them late in the game, so - I think they had their shininess removed for the same reason as the Mandalorians.
For the HK-51s, I've also fixed some texture issues around the photoreceptors.
HK-47 himself is not shiny in K2 because he's worn down and rusted all over. I don't think a technical reason was responsible for the lack of shaders here; he probably looks as the designers intended. But I thought he could do with a little bit, a hint of his former glory. T3's situation was similar. For both of them, I tried to apply shiny to the parts that look like they're still working, with the amount on all the rust and banged up bits reduced to almost nothing.
I've separated them into different folders in case you only want to use some of them.

  17. JC's Minor Fixes for K2

This is a collection of various things that I found annoying enough to alter. It started with that crazy window on Nar Shaddaa, by the landing pad, that would mysteriously render anything that was behind it invisible. It turned out to be as simple as a missing TXI. But it was at this point that I decided to start collecting little things like that into a single mod, to be released to the general public when it became more substantial.

Due to the nature of this mod, I haven't bothered to make a proper installer with the TSL Patcher. Just install whatever you want to install. Don't install what you don't want to install.

Some of these fixes are included in TSLRCM, while others are not. Either way, it's compatible. Other mods may not be compatible; contact me if you have any questions.

Of all the things Obsidian chose to keep in the KOTOR II game files, leaving out terentateks was just a travesty. This mod brings them back, with one on Korriban and one on Dxun. On Korriban, just make sure to loot the half-eaten corpse in the beginning of the shyrack cave module.

  19. Peragus Administration Level Room Model Fixes

This mod addresses some minor geometry issues in the Peragus Administration level. It plugs two gaps in the ceiling that allow the player to see into space, and it also adjusts one of the animated panels on the large screen in the communications blister so that it aligns better. The panel and one of the ceiling fixes are for the exterior version of the level that you see from the maintenance walkway.
    Installation:
Simply copy and paste the included model files into your Override folder Compatibility:
Should be compatible with just about everything, but it won't be compatible with any mod that replaces room models 101PERI.mdl/mdx, 104PERA.mdl/mdx, or 104PERF.mdl/mdx Acknowledgements:
Thanks to bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit Thanks to Snigaroo for bringing the two ceiling gap issues to my attention

  20. Modder's Resource: Specialized Combat Suits for KotOR and TSL

This is not really a mod, but more of a modder's resource. It includes textures for the basic Combat Suit PFBC and PMBC, as well as icons and uti files to make them wearable. Anyone who has created a story mod for either game can use these suits to add some variety to the NPCs that the player interacts with. I have also included models in which I have fixed the uvw maps, so that the textures appear correctly (the original models had some polygons in the wrong places). The new models should work with any other texture mods, since they work perfectly with the in-game ones.

The armour class is the same as the basic Combat Suit, so there isn't any real advantage to wearing them as a player. The real power of these files, is that a modder can create a whole army with both male and female members (and using any head model for NPC variety).

Please feel free to use these files in your own mods. I'm giving my permission now, up front. All I ask is that you mention me in your own read-me. I also ask that the files remain unchanged, so that anyone who uses them will not have to worry about incompatibility.

    ================================================================

Includes Combat Suits for: Republic, Sith, Czerka, T.S.F., Corellian, Exchange, Black Vulkar (Orange or Blue)

    ================================================================

Directions: Please copy all relevant files to Override directory of whichever game you wish to use them in. I have separated them into six directories.
Common files: The textures were made from original textures that appear in both games, so there is no issue of porting.
    >Optional Shiny Metal: These texture.tga files & PFBC01.txi & PMBC01.txi are so that parts of the armours will shine with CM_Baremetal (The downside is that the K1 "Light Exoskeleton" & TSL "Electromesh Suit" will also have a shiny metal effect rather than the original CM_Bright glow).

K1 model uvw fixes: These aren't neccessary, but the new textures will look much better with them. If you have other mods that change the models, you might prefer to use those ones. Check them out to be sure which you'd prefer.
K1 uti files: These are neccessary in order to wear the armours in-game. The name of the uti file is what you would use to cheat them in with the cheat console, examle: giveitem g_a_class4042 will give your player the Republic Combat suit.

TSL model uvw fixes: These aren't neccessary, but the new textures will look much better with them. If you have other mods that change the models, you might prefer to use those ones. Check them out to be sure which you'd prefer. The biggest change is to Bao Dur's because the panel on the back was originally mirrored.
TSL uti files: These are neccessary in order to wear the armours in-game. The name of the uti file is what you would use to cheat them in with the cheat console, examle: giveitem a_light_42 will give your player the Republic Combat suit.

I didn't test this with TSLRCM, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be compatible.

  22. Player & Party Underwear

    Underwear Mod for TSL
    by RedRob41
    ================================================================
IF YOU ARE EVER IN ANY DOUBT ABOUT INSTALLING ANY MODS, PLEASE REMEMBER TO ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR FILES BEFORE INSTALLATION, JUST IN CASE.
WARNING: THIS INSTALLER MAY REPLACE ANY FILES OF THE SAME NAME THAT ARE ALREADY PRESENT IN YOUR OVERRIDE FOLDER!
    ================================================================
Description: This mod includes re-skins and re-models for the player character (male & female), as well as many of the party members. It includes:
    - Females now have your choice of athletic, two piece with boxers, two piece with briefs, and Mass Effect style (not an exact copy). These skins should be compatible with other mods.
    - I've fixed the Dancer outfit model and texture so that it matches the shape and muscle tone of the underwear. These skins might not be as compatible with other models, since the uvw map has been altered (especially on the arms and legs).
    - Updated for v2.0: The model's stance has also been narrowed, to match the underwear model's stance (previously, it looked a littl bow-legged). The skirt cloth has been adjusted so that the front does not clip with the legs as much, and the back doesn't have a gap where it attaches to the belt. Also, Force powers will now eminate from the hand, rather than from a space floating between the hand and face. The textures have been tweaked so that there is better matching at the model's seams.
    - I've fixed the Male's standard underwear model uvw map, and these should be compatible with most other mods.
    - Males now have your choice of athletic, shirtless with boxers, shirtless with briefs, and Mass Effect style. These skins won't be compatible with other mods, since the uvw map is significantly changed.
    - New for v2.0: Atton now has his own unique underwear instead of using the default Caucasian underwear texture. It is meant to look like the brown shirt that he wears under his white shirt and vest of his default clothes.
    - Bao Dur now has underwear instead of using his default clothes model & texture.
    - New for v2.0: The Disciple now has his own unique underwear instead of using the default Caucasian underwear texture. This set is designed to look like the black undershirt from his standard clothes, and is more like a Jedi's under tunic.
    - The Handmaiden's underwear, normal clothes, and dancer outfit have been altered. She will now have a figure that stays the same shape for all three models. Her skin tone and musculature will be consistent.
    - When wearing underwear, she will now have white lace for LS, and black stockings for DS. The model has been re-shaped so that her figure now matches her standard clothes much better. These models and skins will not be very compatible with other mods, since the uvw map has been changed a great deal.
    - Updated for v2.0: the white lace now has more detail, the chest skin tone is more natural, the DS lace bra has been re-done from scratch.
    - Her DS hooded clothes will now have stockings that match the new underwear skin. They are very subtle, and you might only see the difference when she is attacking (especially kicking). Her LS clothes have subtle changes, so that her outfit is much less bland and monotone. These skins should be compatible with other mods, as the uvw map is unchanged. There is also an optional version of the LS clothes, where the only difference from the vanilla version, is that the boots match the new underwear's boots.
    - When wearing the dancers outfit, she will no longer "magically" shrink to an 8 inch "wasp waist". Other changes to the skirt and Force powers are same as for the playable female dancer model (listed above). These skins might not be as compatible with other models, since the uvw map has been altered (especially on the arms and legs).
    - Updated for v2.0: new model; skin textures have been improved.
    - Mira's underwear, normal clothes, and dancer outfit have been altered. She will now have a figure that stays the same shape for all three models (for v2.0 there is even greater accuracy to a matching shape, especially upper body and collar bone). Her skin tone and musculature will be consistent.
    - When wearing underwear, instead of the standard "potato sack" unitard, she will now have her teal coloured tie up shirt, now with working dangly ties. This v2.0 model was compiled with MDLOps 0.7a2, and so there may be some small inconsistencies with the polygon face normals, and how the game engine renders shadows on them. Most notable is the edge seam where the torso mesh joins the arm meshes (above the bicep). Because of this, I've included short sleaves on the texture, to camoflage the edge seam (there are two optional alternatives, one with bare shoulders where the edge seam error can be easily seen).
    - Updated for v2.0: new underwear model and textures.
    - Her ballistic mesh jacket will now have smaller shoulder plates and belt pouches, as well as more texture in the jacket and pants. These models and skins should be interchangeable with other mods, as the uvw map is unchanged.
    - Updated for v2.0: new underwear model and textures.
    - Visas Marr now has a choice of 3 Light Side & 3 Dark Side underwears to choose from. These all use the standard female underwear model, so they should be compatible with other mods (unless those mods change the model).
    - Updated for v2.0: The LS underwears fix a slight error on the back of the hand, where it used to have a touch of purple fabric. there is a new texture for her default clothes, where the only change is that the shoe texture matches the style of the underwear texture.
    ================================================================
Directions: I've separated all the different options, so that you can pick and choose (mix & match) which underwears you'd like to use.
    - For the player character and Visas, simply copy the contents of any folder (.mdl .mdx .tga files) into the TSL Override folder. These do not require a TSLPatcher installer.
**** IMPORTANT **** the model in each of these directories has been customized & matched to the textures in that folder. For simplicity, please do NOT mix these up, since they may not be entirely compatible with each other.
For example, if you want the female PCs to wear Two Piece with boxers; while the male PCs wear Mass Effect; and Visas wears Two Piece with briefs: simply copy the contents of only those folders into the override directory.
    - For Atton, Bao Dur, Disciple, Handmaiden, and Mira, you will have to run the TSLPatcher.exe file for each of these five characters on their own. This is to allow players the option of using other people's mods for some characters, if they choose to do so.
For Handmaiden and Mira, after running the patcher, there are some optional textures (as mentioned in the description) which require manually copying the desired texture file into the Override folder.

  23. Luxa Hair Fix

This mod will fix the character Luxa so that her hair model is uvw mapped properly. The default model is rather piecemeal and chaotic, so that her hair doesn't look like it flows naturally. The N_Lala_XuH.tga texture that is included, has only an additional area for the tongue, and some more detail added to the blurriest part of the hair (along the right edge of the tga).

As a bonus, this mod can adjust her body model, so that her figure is much more shapely. There are two options included: Option 1 has an unnaturally thin waist (which seems more believable IMO for an alien Zeltron female). Option 2 is not quite exaggerated as the first (this is the model I use for female Twi'lek underwear in the Revenge of Revan mod). The texture has been tweaked slightly, so that her skin has more detail, the color matches her face a bit better, and the black leather doesn't look as green as the original.

There is a bonus alternate texture, which swaps out the leotard shorts for laced up bikini bottoms, and a backless top.

  24. JC's Blaster Visual Effects for K2

This mod changes the visual effects for all the laser blasts in the game. Energy blasters, ion blasters, disruptors, bowcasters - I've replaced them all. Except sonic, because really, sonic?
In general, I've added more detail and made them match what's depicted on film as best as I could, when there was a visual reference. I took screenshots of the movies and got out my eyedropper tool and everything. The cores of the lasers are brighter so they look more like lasers, instead of having the whole thing as one flat color. I also messed around with light objects so each laser will illuminate surrounding objects in the appropriate color.
For disruptors, I've included three color options: white, green, and yellow. The default install is white, like the original, and the other two are included as optional things.

  25. Female Exile Head ("Canon")

This is just a simple PC portrait mod, it replaces PFHC07 with a new head (which is a modified version of PFHC05). The new head is supposed to look like http://vignette3.wik...=20091003183103, which is what Wookiepedia has as the Legends "canon" Exile.

I did not make this mod—I requested it in the appropriate thread and a few other users put it together:
    - Schizo did the main bulk of the modeling work
    - Effix changed the hair color (I know that according the the Revan novel the Exile has light brown hair, but I prefer blonde because of Aimo's KOTOR comics on Deviantart. So I guess this isn't really "canon" after all)
    - DarthParametric fixed the model with Taina's Replacer
    - I actually did do one thing: I replaced the party portrait with that hand-drawn pic

To install: unzip the files and copy them to your override folder
To uninstall: take 'em out again
