This mod makes some minor changes to the music used at various points in the game. On Tatooine, the "Czerka theme" (previously used only for their office in Anchorhead) has been applied to all modules in Anchorhead save the cantina. For Korriban, the unused combat music has been restored in all modules barring the tombs. The music within the four tombs in the Valley of the Dark Lords has been left alone. Finally, the Manaan Sith base has had its music swapped from the Valley of the Dark Lords music on Korriban to the same music used in the Taris Sith base. To install, run INSTALL.exe* and let the patcher do the work. Easy peasy, right? *It's actually called TSLPatcher.exe this time. Whoops. -

In 2017, @Kexikus created a spreadsheet to list all of KotOR 1's modules and their corresponding Day, Night and Battle music. @Sith Holocron requested a TSL version of such list, though none of the sort has been made, so I decided to volunteer the task myself. Here you go: The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM) + M4-78 Enhancement Project (M4-78EP) modules and music overview spreadsheet This spreadsheet covers all the modules from both TSLRCM and M4-78EP. Like in K1, the module codes can be used for the warp cheat code (for example, warp 003EBO). All music tracks are listed with their number corresponding to their row in ambientmusic.2da, their file name (the music files can be found in the StreamMusic folder) and their track title as identified with their TLK (dialog.tlk) StrRef. I have also included previews of the music by linking to YouTube in the spreadsheet. Hope you will find this spreadsheet helpful. Enjoy!

Thank you for downloading my mod. 🙂 Thanks to JC in the Kotor discord server for helping me figure out how to change the audio file. 🙂 This mod aims to change the Kotor 2 Main Menu music to the Dantooine Rebuilt Enclave music. Note: This may change the music for when you battle Sion - I have not tested this yet but if someone does test it please send me a message on Deadly Stream or leave a comment on my mod. 1. Put the mus_sion.wav file into your Streammusic folder in your kotor 2 directory. 2. When it asks you if you want to over write the file, click yes. 3. Launch up your game and the main menu music should be changed! Should Be Compatible with TSLRCM, if it isn't then that will be a surprise, because I highly doubt it actually changes anything for TSLRCM. -

So I am trying to swap out music in K1 and eventually in K2. After researching online I read that you need to remove the track in question out of the Streammusic folder and replace it with an .mp3 of your choosing of the same name. I tried it and it did not work. I also followed this guide that had me download Audacity, convert the mp3 to mono, and reduce it to 22k Hz which made the track sound like garbage and still didn't work in game. I believe I am selecting the right track name because when I load into the area to test it there is no music at all, not even the default music. Is there an additional step I am missing? Do I need to make sure the mp3 file has certain properties? Any help would be appreciated!

Hello! This mod replaces the Ebon Hawk landing and takeoff movies included with the mod M4-78ep. Stoney originaly made these movies years ago with 3Ds Max. I decided to remake them using my student version of Autodesk Maya to make them look more consistent with the other Ebon Hawk movies in the game. The audio was created using sounds from Soundjay.com and the Star Wars films, and includes original music by the user Delator. This mod includes a regular version of the landing and takeoff movies as well as upscaled versions to match the High Quality Movies Patch. Don't want to wait to watch these movies? Preview them on YouTube first, at REQUIREMENTS TSLRCM and M4-78ep. If you don't have these, they're available here at DeadlyStream. Optional: The High Quality Movie Patch on kotorfiles.com INSTALLATION -(optional) Backup the files DroMov02.bik and DroMov04.bik in the Movies folder of TSL's main directory -Drop the DroMov02.bik and DroMov04.bik into the Movies folder of TSL's main directory -If you have the High Quality Movies Patch, use the files in the Upscaled folder included with this mod UNINSTALLATION -Restore the backups you made of the original movies from the M4-78ep mod THANX Thanks to Adobe Photoshop, Gmax, MDLOps, Autodesk Maya Student Version, Soundjay.com, Audacity, Sony Vegas, and Rad Video Tools. Special Thanks to Stoney for his work on the original movies, to Sith Holocron for all his help and support with this mod, to Delator for his original music, and to the rest of the M4-78ep team! -
scripting [Query] Custom Music Playing on Cutscene
ebmar posted a topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Greetings, fellow Jedi! Hope y'all doing fine. I am here to ask for an assistance about: Is there any chance for custom music to be played at an exact cutscene in game? Edit: Not only cutscene to be exact; it will play along with the particular encounter and will stop soon as the encounter is done. And if it's possible; would ones mind explaining on how doing it? For an example; the tag of the music that would be playing is: mus_theme_legends Many thanks for considering this; and may the Force be with you! -

=Mysterious Box Music for Unknown World= A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC MODIFICATION AUTHOR: Leilukin FILE NAME: Mysterious Box Music for Unknown World.zip LATEST VERSION: 1.0 CONTACT: E-mail to leilukin[at]gmail[dot]com, or message to Leilukin on Deadly Stream 1) DESCRIPTION: In vanilla KotOR 1, the Mysterious Box uses an ambient music that is not used anywhere else in the game, while the Unknown World uses the Sand People Enclave's ambient music for all the areas on the world outside the Temple of the Ancients. This mod will make the Mysterious Box's ambient music played in some areas of the Unknown World, specifically the Central Beach, North Beach, Temple Exterior and South Beach. This change is made because both the Mysterious Box and the Unknown World directly involve the Rakata, and to diversify the ambient music used for various areas of the Unknown World a bit. However, this mod does not change the ambient music of the Rakatan Settlement, the Elder Settlement and the Temple of the Ancients. NOTE: In order for this mod to take effect, you must use a save before visiting the Unknown World for the first time. Music preview: 2) INSTALLATION: Extract the Mysterious Box Music for Unknown World.zip you downloaded to anywhere you like, as long as it is not within the KotOR directory. Run MBMUW Installer.exe, point the installer to your KotOR directory and let the installer do its magic. NOTE: If you already have the unk_m41aa.mod, unk_m41ab.mod, unk_m41ac.mod and unk_m41ad.mod files in the Modules folder in your KotOR directory, when you install this mod a new folder named backup will be created by TSLPatcher in the same folder as the TSLPatcher. Do not delete the folder or the file within the folder if you are planning on uninstalling this mod. 3) UNINSTALLATION: If a backup folder was created when you installed this mod, go to the backup folder, cut and paste any .mod files from the folder and paste the file in in the Modules folder in your KotOR directory. If no backup folder was created when you installed this mod, go to the Modules folder in your KotOR directory, and delete unk_m41aa.mod, unk_m41ab.mod, unk_m41ac.mod and unk_m41ad.mod. 4) KNOWN ISSUES: None currently known. If you find any bugs or problems, please let me know. 5) MOD COMPATIBILITY: This mod is not compatible with any other mods that modify the track name of the ambient music played in the Central Beach, North Beach, Temple Exterior and South Beach of the Unknown World. This mod is compatible with KotOR 1 Restoration (K1R). 6) PERMISSION: You may do whatever you want with this file. Hey guys, I'm just making this post to let you know that I have created a Kotor music video titled Regret and I was wondering if you all could check it out and give me some feedback. Any constructive criticism is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you all very much for reading. PS. See if you all can figure out the "storyline" of the music video. *Hint* - It's related to the title.

I'm new to the forum, and thankful for all the work I've enjoyed from all of you. In addition to being a KOTOR enthusiast, I'm also a professional composer/VO/Actor with a studio, so if you're a modder and need either of those things, send me a PM so I can point you to some samples of my work. Thanks again!
