  1. I've just installed X-Wing Alliance, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter and Rebellion from the Humble Trove, and I'm currently downloading X-Wing Alliance Upgrade, which I've heard is a highly recommended graphical redux. I was wondering if anyone knew of any similar such recommended mods for the other two games?
  2. Holy crap this place has changed its looks since last I came here.

  3. My current Sentinel/Watchman playthrough just saw Kavar teach me Juyo, thought I was meant to get Niman instead?

      TSLRCM doesn't change this. M4-78EP does however.

      OK; speaking of M4-78EP, it didn't trigger for me - Steam edition, only mods subscribed are that, RCM, Visas Lightsabre Drop and a couple of graphical things, got a handful of other stuff manually installed but it's pretty much all just skins. When I open the game it has the M4-78EP splash screen, but I still found Vash dead on Korriban.

  4. Welcome back, I do vaguely recall your name from a long time ago.
  5. Empire at War has been updated on Steam with new multiplayer and Steam Workshop support, that should be good.

      I hope it doesn't kill the existing mods with incompatibility issues.

      Too bad bad I have it on GOG, not Steam.

  6. I'm reminded of Ghent in the Thrawn books - "oh yeah, that massive security leak you've been struggling with for ages, I hacked that a few days ago 'cause I was bored."
  7. I can't see any comments on purpose or anything unused in any of his files, I could be wrong because it's 2AM and this is the first time I've opened KotOR Tool in at least three years but I think he is just another unfortunate alien trapped by the quarantine, no extra intent to his presence.
  8. Was starting a new TSL playthrough at ten to midnight the best of ideas? Perhaps, perhaps not.

      Heh. I did the same. Did the atioglxx.dll thing and the frame buffer effects fix. Got started, and didn't want to stop.

      Ha! Starting TSL is always a good idea.

  9. I really should come by more often, it's nice to see this place again.

  10. I've been away from here a fair while and this was a brilliant read to come back to, seeing all the drama and all those names that I already regarded as old hands of modding when I joined

      This itself is really only half the issue, it's exacerbated by the fact that I'm a physics student who lives 3 hours from uni so I don't really have any way of meeting anyone else.

  13. I'm doing an introductory C++ module at uni, and having already got some coding experience it's pretty easy so far. Should be helpful if ever I get back into modding though.

      Nice! C++ is fun.

      It is, or at least the very basic stuff I've done (just maths and inputs, fundamental stuff). It's aimed at people who've never coded before, so I generally get the work done early and spend the rest of the time helping people out, which is cool.
