Hey guys! Two topics - but on a similar subject - to follow... Part 1 I need some computer advice. Many of you might now know that my previous computer has decided to not function properly anymore. (I'm currently using my old XP computer that i grabbed out of the basement.) Not having a computer isn't an option so I think I've found that might be a worty replacement. Is this computer a decent deal? Give me some pros and cons because I'm ready to get back in the game. The most graphic intensive game I plan to play on my next computer is Star Wars: The Old Republic and the Mass Effect series. (I don't play the latest shooters like Call of Duty or Battlefield, for example.) I don't need a new monitor or printer/scanner as my old ones are fine. I also will take the blu-ray burner out of the old computer and stick it in one of the open bays on the new one. If the graphics card is a little weak, which reasonably priced replacement would you recommend for this build? I also don't need a mouse or keyboard but if they are going to throw one in, so be it. I also do not want Windows 8. Windows 7 is the highest jump I'm willing to go for in OS. (My old computer was - *shudders* - a Vista.) A quick response on opinions of the computer would be appreciated as I'd rather not miss a sale. Part 2 My other question: could someone direct me to a very easy to understand guide of how to get information from one desktop PC to another? I'm usually not one to tinker inside the computer so this would have to be a dumbed-down type of guide. The old computer was Vista, the new one will likely be Windows 7 - if that helps you at all to help me. Thanks for reading this wall of text!

Sith Holocron replied to LancerChronics's topic in Work In Progress
LancerChronics, can you make you saber blades in your proposed mod flicker like they do in the movie? Kainzorus, I just did a search for that this morning, having remembering having seen it it over at Filefront once upon a time. I believe what you're looking for is Handmaiden Reskin by Kaiden Verak. -
Looks like I have another voice part approved . . . this one is for "The Jedi Masters 2.0" by Trex,

Bugs and minor inconveniences with TSLRCM 1.8

The Exile's favored hand is her right. Kreia's favored hand was her left. Kreia may be referring to her own injury but Kreia is making the situation applicable to the Exile's, so the Exile can learn to strengthen her off-hand saber capability. I don't think it's an error. -

SPOILERS AHEAD Depending on conversation choices with M4-78. he will send reinforcements to assist you when the Exile starts the mission to retake Telos Citadel Station after Nihilus and his forces attack. And he really should have started a new thread . . . in the M4-78 section. -

If I had an objection to mentioning other folk's work, it would've been that there wasn't a link so I could see it too! But anyway . . . what do you think of the mod, MrPhil?- 12 replies

SKIN:Replacement Peragus II Artwork by Trench
Sith Holocron replied to Sith Holocron's topic in Mod Releases
The problem with that is folks tend to start at Peragus and then they quit. If folks actually released what they started on - Drewton comes to mind - and actually started their projects on different planets, we would have had total reskins for the games a few times over. I suppose I should make a request for a Malachor V skybox over at LucasForums to help this along. Edit: That Malachor V skybox request thread is now live.- 12 replies

I think I found at least one of your problems. This one is incompatible. You ought to read that Incompatibility List a little more closely. I've edited HH's previous post to make it more clear what he was getting at. (Sorry, HH.)

SKIN:Replacement Peragus II Artwork by Trench
Sith Holocron replied to Sith Holocron's topic in Mod Releases
Well, I think the question should be: when is someone going to work on other planets? Malachor V needs some definite love - particularly it's skybox. I'm just as guilty as everyone else regarding Peragus. Including this mod released for Trench, I've done two for Peragus. And . . . I've done 3 for the next area, Telos. Before anyone says it, yes "artwork" is spelled wrong in the title. Being in a rush to get it out, I faltered at the end. Unless I need to update the mod package down the road for some reason, I think I'll leave as-is.- 12 replies

That Je'daii symbol seems to have colors inverted - if you're using the Wookieepedia page as gospel anyway. I think my issue with this symbol is that it's too close to this symbol - which represents the Republic Military. It just seems ironic that the Exile gets exiled partially because she joined Revan and the Republic Military to stop the Mandalorians in a room that pretty much has the Republic Military symbol on the floor. It's not all grim news. I like the addition of the statue.

Hello everyone! I have one (1) mini-pet code to give away to a Deadly Stream member. It is for a Tauntaun Fawn. I acquired the code at New York Comic Con Cantina Tour. There are a few issues before you ask for this. 1) You must be on a located in the US and be on US server 2) You must a subscriber. 3) You must have been a member of the Deadly Stream site for at least 6 months, 4) You must have an avatar on your account profile. I throw that in there just because . . . I feel like it. (I have to have a little fun with this!) First to PM me that satisfies all 4 requirements gets the code. You snooze, you lose.

View File Replacement Peragus II Artwork by Trench Recently, I was inspired by a desktop wallpaper that I saw posted up at LucasForums. It was created by a LF member named Trench. I was quite taken with it so I asked Trench if he could render the planet on a transparent background so I could release it as a mod - which he was happy to do. Through the efforts of Darth_Sapiens and Quanon, I discovered the location of the other appearance of this planet in the game files. You see, one texture (named PER_Plnt01) only shows the exposed core planet inside the administration level. The other texture - EBO_Per - shows up both when you're on the walkway outside the station. (See below) Trench's texture came with some extra asteroids so I'm providing two versions of Peragus II . . . Original and With Extra Asteroids As an added bonus, I've included a interior screen replacement for my own previously released mod that utilizes Trench's version of Peragus II. If you use that mod, I suggest using this bonus texture as an upgrade. Installation: ------------------- Extract the TGA files you wish into the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2/Override folder. You can only choose one variety to use at a time, of course. Uninstall: ---------------- Take the textures out again. Known Bugs: --------------------- None known at this time. Legal Disclaimer: ---------------------------- All materials and copyrights belong to LucasArts, Bioware and Obsidian Entertainment Inc. I own none of the materials, and I'm not making any money out of this mod. It is to be distributed as-is without alteration, unless by permission of me. This mod is not to be distributed for profit, either. I hereby state that I specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Steam Workshop. Ever. I may release this on NexusMods at a later date but I don't wish others to do so. Usage in other mods must be requested AND approved by me before your use. Messages that request permission without providing information on how your alternate version would be different than mine should be considered an instant denial of permission. Special Thanks: -------------------------- To Trench: For making the original artwork in the first place and for extracting the portions needed for use in this mod. To Darth_Sapiens: For finding location of the texture I was missing. To Quanon: Research into Peragus models and also for finding the location of the texture I was missing. To Insanity_Sorrow: Research into Peragus models and beta-testing. Submitter Sith Holocron Submitted 11/16/2013 Category Skins TSLRCM Compatible Yes

A tease . . . of the next version of M4-78 EP
Sith Holocron replied to Hassat Hunter's topic in M4-78 Enhancement Project
He did say it's not technically TSLRCM. (HH tends to work on 1.8.3 and M4-78 EP fixes at the same time.)
