    As long as I'm making Malachor V requests, I'll add this one. I'll put in a minor quote and a couple of screenshots from Scorchy's walk-through to illustrate. Could a better skin for the Greater Storm Beast be made? If folks can fix the Boma's teeth, this shouldn't be too tough.
  3. Might I suggest composing a few tracks and posting a few YouTube links so folks can go there and listen to possible contributions? There are lots of projects that could use new music - not just Sleheyron projects.

  5. Hey folks! I'm not one that's a proponent of necro-posting but I just had the same issue myself. Seeing as I decided to correct the spelling on the old posts anyway, I may as well post a solution - even if it is 3 years after the fact. Let's just cover two possible solutions, one of which was already posted in a different form above. For illustration purposes, here's my own graphical issue. 1} Option A: Disable Vertex Buffer Objects "Open the swkotor.ini file with Notepad, scroll down to the section marked [Graphic Options] and add the following line: Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 Save the file then run the game again and everything should be fine. For future reference, this fix is listed on the LucasArts website in the "Yoda's Help Desk" section for KotOR. If you need to look it up again, it would be quicker and easier to just go there." (Quoted from a previous poster yonks ago to save time. Remember to copy that line exactly as you see it (Copy & Paste) underneath everything else in the Graphic Options sections. Just press enter and add another line to past it in. It doesn't seem to have much of an affect on the game's eye candy, but it sure does make an improvement to its playability. 2: Turn off Grass: By the way, this is the one that solved my own issue. YMMV. In your Graphics setting in the game, un-check Grass - as shown here. The results? Again . . . sorry about the necro-posting.

  14. Someone you may recall another project that wanted to use KOTOR assets in another engine over on LucasForums. This LucasForums thread was the end result of that: Posting About UDK I think it's a a wise policy! As soon as Project Black Light confirms their engine, I'm going to be locking this thread. (I know they've already indicated that they aren't using Odyssey but until they confirm another thread, I'll leave this thread open.) Once they do confirm an alternate engine, I'll be locking this thread. Attempts to reopen another thread or bring it up in existing threads will earn a infraction. You'll still be able to read all about it on their Facebook page, of course.

  17. Logan is still working on Revenge of Revan. He never abandoned it. Don't forget that Trex also made a KOTOR3 . . . The Jedi Masters. Did those Project BL people ever decide on an engine or are they still just putting up horrible conceptual artwork and giving really vague information?
  18. Hey folks. My Miles is acting up and I want to get the Rancor sound effects from KotOR1 as ring tones on my new phone. Might anyone be able to get those sound files and put in a dropbox link?

      This from Darth333 gave me the answer I sought: "There are also some sounds located in SWKotor/Data/sounds.bif: you can extract those sounds with Kotor tool."

  20. Silveredge's work is on the screen and he's not adding anything more to the game. The new voiceovers are for the fans so I want to hear from the fans. I've expanded my initial post to explain my motvations on this whole thread as a response to your questions. No new lines will be added if anyone is unclear. I'm sticking faithfully to Silveredge's script.
  21. I am unsure if this is related but I feel duty bound to point the following out to you. If you're not creating a mod for the game, then "TSLRCM Loot fix base scripts 1.3 by Hassat Hunter" shouldn't be used. It even says in the read-me file: Best of luck to you and - hopefully - someone can find a resolution to your problem.

  25. SPOILERS ALLOWED I've a question those that have played Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge. The main additional character to your party is Shadow - alternatively known as Channa Mae and Sera Degana. I have a project to give this character a non-Twi'lek voice. I have a female voice actor in mind for this project but before I ask her, I'd like to know from you: how would you describe this character? If you were attempting to tell a person about this character that hadn't played the mod, how would you do so? I realize that each player may have a different take on the character so this isn't a debate on whose idea is most worthy. Initial responders can feel free to include a biography of the character - if you can back it up in lines from the game. (No fan fiction stuff, folks.) Edit: My motivation for this project besides having Silveredge's words being voiced by a character (in English), is to have dedicated players of this mod tell me how they would picture Shadow's voice in their heads. By comparison, imagine how much would be lost if all of Mission Vao's lines were represented by around 6 different gibberish Twi'liek lines that were spliced together in different ways. You'd very likely lose a lot of the emotion you originally had coming from the character. Just in case folks are wondering (and the question came up below): Silveredge does know about this project and has given his permission for it to proceed.
