  1. Hey Deadlystream! I'm working on a merchant replacement for yortal Ixis on Manaan. He's the Ithorian right outside the Sith base who gets mocked by the Sith about his shop being "trash." Anyways, I always thought he was worthless, never having any good items, just some lame droid ones, and after playing TSL I got really tired of hearing Ithorians speak. I am replacing him with Shanilia. Three things I want to achieve: Overwrite Yortal to Shanilia (A Grey Jedi Merchant) Add excessive new dialogue to Shanilia, which will become available based on plot advances in kotor, (i.e. Selkath Youth Corr Quest, Sith Embassy infiltration, Swoop racing champion, Revan Revelation, darkside/lightside completion of Manaan, Korriban, and mabye Kashyyyk.) Add a few custom items to Shanilia's Shop including a Dxun Robe, a Mandalorian sword, Bothan Baton, and the robes from my previous mod. Some facts about Shanilia: Follows the Grey Jedi Code Was a Revanchist Trades on Manaan Knew Jolee Bindo Trained on the Jedi Temple on Dorin (as shown to have a Jedi Temple by the Mandalorian Wars chart) Twi'lek, speaks Ryl Currently, I have myself and another writer working on the dialogue/backstory of Shanilia with a rough draft consisting of 5,000 words. Issues: Haven't gotten the Mando'a blade, and Bothan Baton to accept reskin changes, they look vanilla with only the stats changed. Have not tested out a few scripts to be sure they do what I think they do. Have not tested out all of the female Ryl voice overs, so I am still working on what sound file has what emotion attached to it. Anyways, I thought a WIP would keep me motivated to finish the mod. As always, feedback, regardless of its nature, is welcome!
  2. This is how I was able to determine cannon way back, I just said IDC and the game answered my question about cannon xD
  3. I had this problem as well, something about the Jawas in the cages at the Tusken Camp . I couldn't resolve it.
  4. Fixed my Robe Mod, newest version 1.3 shouldn't have any problems now.

I don't think we are really arguing. More so just voicing different opinions, as always people install the mods that they want and, of course, create the ones they want. Besides, it is an interesting subject, how well do other Eras of star wars mix with Kotor?

    Door Endar Spire

This looks very real! Well done.
  7. Yes, this is compatible with several other korriban mods. You'd have to be more specific which mods you have in mind, but generally speaking this mod doesn't clash with most Korriban mods.
  8. I enjoyed the TSL soundtrack for that dark and moody atmosphere on Dantooine because of the theme of how bad things had deteriorated. But after playing through it time and time again, I have to agree with you on several planets about the music just being boring.. TSL really has a strong theme enhanced heavily by its music, but it does get old in some cases.
  9. Woah, this is awesome! No idea about your question though..
  10. Could anyone tell me the scripts that identify if a PC has completed kashyyyk via Darkside and Korriban completed via darkside? I'm working on dialogue for a mod that responds to these scripts having been fired.

Sweet, I will try to be on Wednesday.

  11. This is a valid point. Also, how Darkside are you going to make Juhani. Would not Bastila, Carth, even Jolee Bindo, have an issue letting a Sith aboard? Would she go by an alias? Would she act deceptively as a half jedi, similar to how Jolee acts, or would she be a total Sith manipulator like Palpatine, Kreia, and many other sith. Besides, Bastila isn't trained enough nor would have enough experience to accurately detect a sith presence in Juhani. I don't know if you have thought of these questions, but I thought I would voice them.
  12. Did Kreia join the Revanchist and fight against the Mandalorians in the Mandalorian Wars?

    1. Kreia

      Kreia

That depends. KotOR kinda spoon feeds you everything, TSL is not like that, for better or worse. A lot of things are open to interpretation, you get this feeling that more is going on than you're being told, you're like 'what was that' every time something feels convenient somehow, or deliberately ambiguous. In this case we're working with very few phrases really, like Kavar saying he thought she had died in the Mandalorian Wars.

Ahh, yes. He did say that, thanks! I've been working on something and that question came up.

    Hi Guys

Welcome ner vod! This community is the best for kotor ^^
  15. So after downloading kotortoolset by fairstride I ran across two files named "44 - Battle: Sleheyron City" and "45 - Battle: Sleheyron Gang" in the level properities, under (battle) Music. Thought you might wanna know in case you didn't.
  16. JC2 Robe Mod View File JC2 Darkside Robes I’ve enjoyed so many mods on kotor and tsl because of this community. Thanks guys! I wanted to give back to the Deadlystream community and keep kotor alive. So I made this mod as a first step into learning how to mod. Content: adds four custom robes into the game. Each robe can be found during your playthrough without cheats. Readme has description of where each are located if you do not mind spoilers. Keep in mind these robes are gained through, largely, darkside decisions. Robes are wearable by PC and NPC (party members) though they have to have the proper alignment. However, cheat codes are in the readme. Installation: Unzip files, then simply copy and paste files into override to install There is no tsl patcher, or anything of that sort. Uninstall by removing files from override. Robe names: Acolyte Robe (Any alignment) Dark Knight Robe (Any alignment) Dark Master Robe (Darkside restricted) Grey Jedi Robe (Neutral restricted) As you can see, three robes are darkside restricted while only one is limited to being a “grey jedi” or being neutral. To clarify, half way between dark side and light side is considered neutral, if you KSE it would be 50 out of 100, 100 being holy light side and 0 being fully dark. Compatible with BOS:SR Compatible with K1R, see readme Incompatible with robes that edit the same added uti files, see readme for full disclosure on topic. Acknowledgements: Thanks for the kotor tool Fred Tetra! Thanks Deadlystream for hosting my mod and being an awesome Kotor community. Thanks to tk102 for his K-GFF Editor. Thanks FairStrides for the HexEditor help. Special Thanks to RealRece and Achillies for their tutorials. Lastly, Thanks Bioware for an amazing game! Permissions: If you feel like using my mod for another mod in any way, then feel free to do that, just place me in the credits. Feel free to leave negative feedback and/or PM about bugs. 18. It's a good list, I'd suggest adding Leviathan dialogue mod by Revanator > http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/895-leviathan-differentiated-dialogue/ It adds just a touch of canon to the game without being incompatible with any other mod, since it's such a small mod.
  19. Congratulations to the MotY winners!
  20. Ahaha, well props for taking the time to search it out yourself. Welcome to Deadlystream btw. I see you are new ^^
  21. Anybody know if is it possible to edit the utc of creatures in k1 and add dropable items to them?

@Kreia ahh I haven't yet explored the script in kotor yet, but I have gotten the Queen Tukata to drop the item. Thanks for the explanation though.

  22. No i saw that. I guess perhaps I saw the mod on another site. I've gone through each mod on deadlystream and haven't found it. Thanks for the attempt. Interesting, I might do that, once I learn a bit more about the appearance.2da. Thanks for the info.
