  3. I uninstalled Lightsaber and force forms by death disco and I’m still getting the crash . I was thinking it could be Marius Fetts wearable sith uniforms because that mod does edit the pmbjl files . @JCarter426 I tried uninstalling this mod by putting everything in the backup folder into the override, but it failed ! All the sith officers on korriban still have the uniforms from this mod !

    HD Lightsabers

Next Update maybe with Crazy34's blades?
  5. I do not believe that is related to this mod's changes.
  6. @JCarter426 I installed the update, but I'm still getting the crash in Tulak Hord's tomb. Jorak Uln fails to appear then a crash happens :Names Differ: N_SithComM pmbjl . It's either this mod or Lightsaber and force forms for K1, since I recently completed a play-through that had no crashes with the same build but without those 2 mods !

    KOTOR High FPS Fixes

The mod works perfectly, but in kotor 1 there's a bug that companions don't banter with each others when the game is in high fps, is it possible to fix this?
  9. Unfortunately I really don't have as much time as I used to. The Pazaak Tournament is out and you can play it with K1CP and RC-K1CP, but for BOSSR I gave up for now. As I said in the last comment, "BOSSR apparently brings many issues, especially on other devices than PC, such as mobiles. Which is why I think people are expected to play it once (the guy who did it even included a save especially to do that) and that's it." Also it's not very replayable. It's very linear. So imho just play it once on a vanilla installation and that's it. However, and I believe I didn't talk about it on this page, I am using my modding time to make a K1 post-endgame expansion which will have more focus on player choices and differences between light side and dark side playthroughs. At any rate, no patch in view for BOSSR yet.
  10. I didn't experience this issue with TSLPatcher, but I ran the "Check for Issues" diagnostic in Microsoft Word on all RTF files to be safe, and the mod has been updated with them. Could you try it again and confirm if this fixes it for you? Also, it's worth noting that TSLPatcher and HoloPatcher are known not to be fully cross-compatible, and there is an update to HoloPatcher in the works to address.
  11. An update: I managed to properly link and play custom VOs by putting them straight to "streamvoices/" not module specific folder. Maybe someone will have similar problems so I leave my entire proccess that works for me: This is the pipeline that worked for my Steam version of the game. 1. Open file in Audacity. 2. Export as mp3, exact parameters that work for me are: 22050 Mhz, constatnt bitrate 96kbs, mono channel. 3. Put the file in "in" folder of SithCodec and run encode_vo.bat 4. Move the file from "vo" folder of SithCodec directly to "Streamvoice" not into any subfolder. from Holocron's Designer's dlg editor to standalone DLG Editor (Holocron's couldn't play any animations or add camera filters (e. g. Droidvision, security camera, etc.). 6. Set up the conversation there using converted .wav file from 'Streamvoice" as a VO_ResRef 7. Add saved .dlg file to .mod via ERF Editor. Note: I changed all file's related to the module, npc, scripts, and dialogues names to lowercase letters and numbers only. Note 2: I Moved from Holocron's Designer's dlg editor to standalone DLG Editor (Holocron's couldn't play any animations or add camera filters (e. g. Droidvision, security camera, etc.). Also if someon have an idea why TSL's engine can't seem to find the .wav while it's in dedicated "streamvoice/[module_name]/[conversation_tag]" folder, please let me know
  12. is there any new's on a compitiblity patch for BOS:SR?

  16. View File K1 High-Res Feat & Power Trees Makes the feat and Force power selection icons readable at high resolutions. KotOR High Resolution Menus rescales the menus for your resolution, but the feat and Force power trees (character creation and level-up) keep the 640x480 sizes hardcoded in the game's executable: 40 px rows, 32 px icons and arrows. At 1440p and 4K the icons are tiny specks in a list built for icons several times larger. This patch scales the rows, icons and arrows by the same factor High Resolution Menus uses for everything else (menu height / 480), so the trees keep their original proportions. 1080p: 90 px rows · 1440p: 120 px · 4K: 180 px Reads your resolution from High Resolution Menus' changes to the exe. No questions asked. Changes 8 values in swkotor.exe and nothing in Override. It checks every byte it touches first and refuses unknown executables. It makes a backup, and Uninstall.bat restores the originals. Tested alongside K1 Area Map Fixes and the 4 GB patch. Requirements, in this order: KOTOR Editable Executable (Steam only), UniWS, KotOR High Resolution Menus, then this. Install: double-click Install.bat. Run it again if you later change resolution. 17. The file has been updated.
  18. I would love to have that, but I honestly have no idea how it works. I would certainly welcome any help for that.
  19. Thank you for that. I installed the community patch and applied KMRP, in that order. Now I get five full seconds of full-screen black screen before the game quits to desktop, unfortunately. An update: I got it to work! I just had to update my drivers! Thanks for making a great mod.
  20. Pretty sure that's a bug that is fixed with K1CP pal, there's also a black screen bug with Selven the bounty hunter on Taris. https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1258-kotor-1-community-patch/
  21. Hello there! First of all, I wanted to thank you for what has been a truly brilliant mod. I was unable to play the game until I used KMRP, and it worked so well - and the UI was so good - that I was practically crying tears of joy. That being said, I would very much appreciate your support if possible. At the first Rancor far beneath Taris, I placed the "formula" from the Bek's severed arm into the pile for the Rancor to consume. At that point, the screen froze! It was so unresponsive I had to do a hard shutdown. Ever since, I unfortunately cannot get into my game. The game opens, goes to black (with a rotating blue circle in Windows 11) and it appears as a windowed black screen (even though I have full screen enabled in the .ini file) and it hangs for about two seconds before closing out. I was wondering if you had any guidance. I would love to finish the game. Thanks for the mod, and for any help.
Whoever made this mod is a godsend! It fixes almost everything that needs fixing for modern systems in 2026 for KOTOR 1, including issues for AMD users like me. It has saved me so many nerve cells. So now I can finally play with Soft Shadows and Frame Buffer Effects, except the Grass — sometimes for grass to work properly you need to restart your game. In my opinion this is the best KOTOR mod right now, no exaggeration.
  22. Are you planning a Holopatcher installation when you're done with it? Would be easier for people, rather than have to manually do everything.
  23. For anyone running HR Menus at 1440p or 4K: the feat and Force power tree icons on the level-up screen stay at their 640x480 size, because the engine hardcodes the tree row height in swkotor.exe (it ignores the .gui PROTOITEM), so no .gui edit can fix it. I made a small exe patch that scales them by the same menu height / 480 factor HR Menus uses for everything else: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/3161-k1-high-res-feat-power-trees/ Install it after UniWS + HR Menus. Thanks for HR Menus, it's a great mod.
  24. Hello, I'm relatively new to modding Kotor II and playing around in Holcron Toolset. I managed to clone module 101 (Peragus Administration Level) and named it "PA1". I created a miner npc using one of the existing npcs as a template. I gave the npc ResRef of "per_mnr01" with a tag of "mnr01. Added armor and a weapon, changed appearance and managed to implement a simple patrol script using custom waypoints. I created a mnr01.dlg file, put it in my .mod and wrote a simple conversation with just one entry and one reply. The game succesfuly load my module, my npc, scripts and dialogue. The problem starts with adding a voieover file to npc's entry. I generated a line using ElevenLabs and dragged it in Audacity, then exported it as a wav with 22050 Hz, 128 kb/s and mono. Put the file through SithCodec using encode_vo.bat and put the file in "streamvoice/pa1/mnr01/pa1mnr01001.wav. Holocron loaded up mi file from streamvoice folder, and I can play preview in its dlg editor, I choose my file from voice input, ignoring the sound input and checkmark labeled exists is left unchecked. I changed my module.ifo to have VO_ID of "PA1" instead of orginal "101", the speaker tag is "mnr01". The ingame dialogue plays without sound. I tried switching to another vo e.g. Attons line from different module from Holocron dialog editor, and it plays just fine. I copied Atton's line from different module and renamed it to "pa1mnr01002" and placed it in my "streamvoice/pa1/mnr01/" folder (same file that before worked fine) and again - it shows in Holocron fine. What's weird that Atton;s line that worked when selected from different module is not working after renaming and copying to my folder so I assume file formatting is not the case. I also tested putting the soundfiles to Override and original "101" streamvoice folder. I don't know if this is important but my dialogue won't open unless type of conversation is set from "Human" to "Type 3". Also animations and expressions don't seem to work either. What could be the case, I feel like I'm checking things in circle and still missing something crucial. I even added strRef to dialog.tlk and setup a ResRef to a soundfile there, and nothing happened still.
