The vanilla M4-78 textures upscaled twice with A.I. software waifu2x-caffe. I've left out the txi files that only had "xbox_downsample 256", those were left overs from the old Xbox version. DRO_Ehok.tga is the Ebon Hawk exterior, specific for the droid planet. If you prefer another version of the Hawk's exterior then you may want to replace it. I've included upscaled versions of 2 CM files that some of the txi's call upon. Requested by some old guy on an obscure website.

  4. I had a thread on Reddit that linked to an early M4-78 mod created a long, long time ago which didn't even use Vash in it. I'd love to have outside sources give some opinions. I haven't played it myself. It was created by a modder named Darth Shan way back in 2006. If anyone is interested in using this mod and giving feedback, I'll have a place for it in one of my videos in my (yet unreleased) YouTube M4-78 Documentary. You can provide text, or text with your own voice saying your words. There is a walkthrough provided by the mod author in the package so that should speed things along for you. If you're a person that doesn't have a problem starting up another playthrough virtually at the drop of a hat, you're cordially invited to help! A note: I am unsure of the compatibility with TSLRCM and/or the M4-78 EP, so I will leave that in your hands or whether you'd like to try it with either of them. (You are most welcome to try though!) Here's a non-GameFront link for it: Droid Planet Mod by Darth Shan Thanks for your attention, KOTOR community!

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2 Authors: N-DReW25 and Sith Holocron 1.0.0 Release Date: 18.08.2017 1.1.0 Release Date: 31.08.2021 Description: If you’ve played M4-78EP before, you might be surprised that the Skybox textures you see in that mod are NOT the intended Skybox that Obsidian sought to use for M4-78. The original M4-78, as designed by Obsidian Entertainment, used the left-over skyboxes of the cut planet Sleheyron from the 1st game and altered these skyboxes to use be used on M4-78. These original skybox for M4-78, as intended by Obsidian, was briefly seen in Kotor 2's E3 trailer. In 2008, Quanon created a new skybox for Stoney’s original M4-78 mod. These skyboxes had higher quality buildings, a darker wine-brown sky and visible green radiation. The Skybox you see in M4-78EP today was created by Stoney himself, these skyboxes have the background of a light orange sky with tall buildings. This is the skybox you see in the most up to date version of M4-78EP. Installation: First, make sure you have M4-78EP 1.5 installed for the best playing experience! Follow the instructions on the M4-78EP download page to install M4-78EP. https://deadlystream.com/files/file/277-m4-78-enhancement-project/ Warning: It is advised that you do NOT use the Steam Workshop version of TSLRCM or M4-78EP due to compatibility issues with other mods. If you do choose to use the Steam Workshop, you will need to install this mod into your Steam Workshop Override folder instead! If you are using Sith Holocron's "Replacement Loading Screens for KotOR2: Add-On Pack (with or without TSLRCM) 1.3" mod, be sure to install this mod last! Once you have M4-78EP installed, you will have 3 different skyboxes to choose from (you can only use 1 skybox at a time!). Option 1: Stoney's M4-78 Version - by Quanon: 1) Open the “Stoney Version (by Quanon)” folder. 2) Open the “For Override” folder 3) Copy the 10 tga files within the “For Override” folder and paste these files inside your Knights of the Old Republic II Override folder Option 2: Obsidian Version - by Obsidian Entertainment: 1) Open the “Obsidian Version” folder. 2) Open the “For Override” folder 3) Copy the 10 tga files within the “For Override” folder and paste these files inside your Knights of the Old Republic II Override folder Option 3: Sleheyron Version - by Bioware, roof texture by Sith Holocron: 1) Open the “Sleheyron Version” folder. 2) Open the “For Override” folder 3) Copy the 10 tga files within the “For Override” folder and paste these files inside your Knights of the Old Republic II Override folder Uninstallation: To uninstall this version and restore the original M4-78EP skyboxes, simply copy the contents of the BACKUP folder into your Knights of the Old Republic II Override folder. Warning: If you simply delete the Skybox and Loading Screen files from your Override without copying the BACKUP files you will have no loading screens for M4-78 and the Obsidian Skyboxes by default. Known Bugs: The droid testing facility loading screen does not appear, this is a core problem with M4-78EP 1.5 content and not this mod. Once a fix for M4-78EP 1.5 has been made, this bug will be fixed (This is outside of my control though). If you encounter any bugs, just report to N-DReW25 via PM on Deadlystream.com Incompatibilities: This mod is compatible with Kexikus’ High Quality Skybox mod for TSL and any other mod which replaces the skybox for M4-78 EP. This doesn’t include textures that change the skybox as viewed from inside the Ebon Hawk. Recommended Mods!: Permissions: · Do NOT claim credit for this mod, as that would exceedingly rude. · Do NOT upload this mod to any other website without the permission of N-DReW25 · If you want to use Stoney’s M4-78 Skybox in your own mod, please contact the original author, Quanon, for permission. Special Thanks: · Obsidian for not deleting all of M4-78. · Bioware for not deleting Sleheyron’s Skybox · Stoney for making the original M4-78 mod. · Quanon for making the skyboxes for the original M4-78 mod and for his permission to include them here. · Zybl2 and Hassat Hunter for their work on M4-78EP. · Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool · Sith Holocron for the new loading screens · Everyone who downloads the mod. 8. View File M4-78 Uncompressed Movies Since the cutscenes for the KotOR games are being upscaled, I thought I'd provide my M4-78 EP movies, sans the Bink compression to assist in this. INTRODUCTION I began this MOD (my first MOD, so be kindly with your criticism) almost by accident. Seeing that I could modify the image files "easily" (I'm joking), I thought that I could see the map of the Industrial Zone instead the map of the Environmental Zone shown on the original screens. I took a screenshot of the map in game and began to paste images and text and improving the result. Adding here, adding there ...and adding again. ---------------------------------------------------------------- DESCRIPTION This MOD replaces the screens and panels of the Diagnostic room and in the Research and Develop room, both located in the Industrial Zone, and the screens and panels at 2nd and 3rd Recharge Stations in the Environmental Zone of the M4-78 planet (the Diag room and the Recharge Stations use the same files, so you'll see the same screens and panels in these areas, personally I can do nothing about that). The screens at Diag room and Env Zone aren't really news. I've re-scaled them since the originals 256x256 to 512x512 and redone them repainting and outlining contours and lines and improving the lights. The texts on screen are redone as well and placed correctly in their windows. What is new now with this MOD is that the panels below the screens (re-scaled to 512x512 too) are improved and animated. In the Research and Develop Center room the panels have been re-scaled since its originals 256x256 to 512x512 and now are animated. In the main screens you'll be able to recognize some of the images I've included (even a more than notorious tribute) but the screens are new completely as well as most of what is shown. By now the same pairs of files (dro_tk 01/02, 03/04 tga and txi files) cover the six screens in the room. I think that the content is quite varied so as not to get bored. ----------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION I've made separate folders for each area so you can choose install that area or do not. One folder is for the Research & Develop Center and the other for the Diag room and Environmental zone. Just drag and drop the files inside each folder in your Override folder. It's convenient that you make a backup of the original files before install it if finally you decide uninstall it. The files of the "After and Before" folder are not needed, they're only for to show the results. ----------------------------------------------------------------- UNINSTALL Remove the files listed from your Override folder and restore your backup files. (If you don't have a backup you'll get a set of fantastic white and shining screens and panels) - Diagnostic room & Env Zone folder: m47_cpanel.tga m47_cpanel.txi (Not included in the original files, be sure of remove it) m47_mon1.tga m47_mon1.txi m47_mon2.tga m47_mon2.txi - Research & Development room folder dro_cpanel.tga dro_cpanel.txi (Not included in the original files, be sure to remove it!) dro_tk01.tga dro_tk01.txi dro_tk02.tga dro_tk02.txi dro_tk03.tga dro_tk03.txi dro_tk04.tga dro_tk04.txi ------------------------------------------------------------------ BUGS Ohh!! C'mon!!!!!!! It's a simple graphic MOD!!!!!!! I can bet a pea... ------------------------------------------------------------------ THANKS To the TSLRCM and M4-78EP teams To Deadly Stream To Sithspecter for let me use the image of the Combat Enforcer from his awesome 'High Quality Blasters 1.0' To Sith Holocron for let me use his 'droid silhouette' and some of the PCB shown and the ideas that brought me his work. ------------------------------------------------------------------ PERMISSIONS It's expressly forbidden upload this MOD or any part at anywhere. If I want to see it over there I can upload it myself. ------------------------------------------------------------------ LEGAL This MOD is provided as-is and is not supported by Bioware, Obsidian, Lucas Arts or Disney. Hello! This mod replaces the Ebon Hawk landing and takeoff movies included with the mod M4-78ep. Stoney originaly made these movies years ago with 3Ds Max. I decided to remake them using my student version of Autodesk Maya to make them look more consistent with the other Ebon Hawk movies in the game. The audio was created using sounds from Soundjay.com and the Star Wars films, and includes original music by the user Delator. This mod includes a regular version of the landing and takeoff movies as well as upscaled versions to match the High Quality Movies Patch. Don't want to wait to watch these movies? Preview them on YouTube first, at REQUIREMENTS TSLRCM and M4-78ep. If you don't have these, they're available here at DeadlyStream. Optional: The High Quality Movie Patch on kotorfiles.com INSTALLATION -(optional) Backup the files DroMov02.bik and DroMov04.bik in the Movies folder of TSL's main directory -Drop the DroMov02.bik and DroMov04.bik into the Movies folder of TSL's main directory -If you have the High Quality Movies Patch, use the files in the Upscaled folder included with this mod UNINSTALLATION -Restore the backups you made of the original movies from the M4-78ep mod THANX Thanks to Adobe Photoshop, Gmax, MDLOps, Autodesk Maya Student Version, Soundjay.com, Audacity, Sony Vegas, and Rad Video Tools. Special Thanks to Stoney for his work on the original movies, to Sith Holocron for all his help and support with this mod, to Delator for his original music, and to the rest of the M4-78ep team!

  15. Hi, I've just seen some screenshots of the Sleheyron mod and I noticed how similar they look compared to M4-78. The sky, the colors, the area, the layout... I even compared the leftover textures and they looked similar (some Sleheyron textures were going to be applied to Dxun, as seen in the early screenshots for TSL). I came up with the theory that M4-78 is in fact Sleheyron, just after it has been colonized by the Sith. Is there any official connection between these "two" planets?

  18. When I talk to HK-47 about the sonic sensor, I get a journal entry that has the name of a force power from a mod. I have tried this on two different builds, one with HLFP 2.1, the other with HLFP 2.1, Full Force, and Force Zeal. Both times I had the same issue but a different power was listed as the journal entry. I've already removed both builds and i'm currently rebuilding my override. Is there a compatibility issue with force power mods and M4-78 or is there something I should be looking for when i'm installing mods? The force power mods I used were HLFP http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/High_Level_Force_Powers;43066 http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/High_Level_Force_Powers;67156 Full Force Mod http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Full_Force_Mod;105957 Force Zeal http://www.algonet.se/~stoffe/forcezeal_v2.rar
  19. Today I am excited to announce; 1.8.3 is released. M4-78EP's update is released. For some background, M4-78EP's release was 1 year and 3 months ago. It has been 1 year and 3 months since TSLRCM 1.8.2 was released. What an exciting few years it has been for us! KoTOR 2 is a little over 9 years old, but the modding community still runs strong. Give KOTOR2 a happy 10th birthday next year, it deserves it! Let me take this time to thank all our followers; All the people who made this possible, who downloaded our mod, gave us feedback and spread word of TSLCRM into the world, all of our fans who voted us 10th in mod of the year 2012 and honorary mod of 2013, and of course all of the fans looking forward to M4-78EP. Once of our proudest moments and maybe the best reward of all is how Chris Avellone (@ChrisAvellone) himself tweeted about our 1.8 release! To reminisce a little, this all started with the usual response to complaints about TSLRP, which was that people should make their own mod, then they could complain. 2 modders, Stoney and Zbyl2 (with help from Jinger and a few others), did just that. TSLRCM was first released to the public on 24 September 2009. The release was version 1.4 and was labeled as a public beta, being a playable mod with few to no game breaking bugs. 1.4 was improved by patches 1.4a, 1.4b, 1.4c, and 1.4d. At this point, animator Savvy30039 decided to contribute her lean animation to the restoration, which was included in 1.4d. On 15 march 2010 was the release of TSLRCM 1.5. A patch to the mod, 1.5a, was released shortly after to resolve some remaining bugs. Between 1.5 and 1.6 the development team was strengthened by Hassat Hunter (previously testing) and Varsity Puppet (previously some minor tweaks, now HK-Factory, Peragus and other areas). On June 24th, 2010, TSLRCM 1.6 was released, featuring various cut scene tweaks, dialog bug fixes and more. On October 16th, 2010, TSLRCM 1.7 was released, which features additional bug-fixes and other additions such as: the Visas-Nihilus movie using the in-game engine to play (rather than a pre-rendered BIK movie), Kreia's Battle for Telos Mod was integrated into the mod, the low-res BIK movies of the Dantooine battle replaced with in- game ones, and an improved dialog.tlk mod integrated/improved upon (for the English version.) Almost a year has passed, but work still continued on 1.8, which is the biggest TSLRCM release yet. It was released on 24 july 2012. On 28 December 2012, after a long period of development, finally M4-78EP saw the light, adding a full grand planet to explore and experience more KOTOR2 gameplay in, and actually talk with Vash herself(alive as well), explaining some critical details about force bonds to the player, meanwhile uncovering the events which took place just before the Exile's arrival. Let's talk TSLRCM 1.8.3. As you can expect with the time it took, its considerable bigger than 1.8.1 and 1.8.2 combined. Don't expect major leaps though, 1.8's done pretty much everything possible to the game, instead 1.8.3 is just fixing all the tiny little snippets of little bugs that dare pop up from time to time. And even though we have been at it quite some time, there apparently are still vanilla issues around only to be found now. Like how messed up all the sound sets on the Ravager were, truthfully I hope after 1.8.3 there will be no need for a 1.8.4. Now let us shift gears to the M4-78EP update; Unlike TSLRCM 1.8.3, this patch is more than that; it is a true update, rather than a bug fixing patch. While many issues have been resolved, most of its development time has been used up on making new content, adding to existing content, and completely overhauling certain endgame cut scenes. While the change list for M4-78EP is quite minor, please understand the KoTOR’s game engine (Odyssey) is quite a pain to mod most of the time, so remember a lot of time and effort went into these changes. This update will also be released today! However, all of this work we have put into TSLRCM and M4-78EP, was not just for us, but for the entire community. We want everyone to experience a fun, full and non-frustrating play through of KoTOR 2. That is why we spent so much time on KoTOR 2 and that is why these updates are dedicated to you, our fans and community. Thank you for all the support these last 5 years, it has been amazing. ~The TSLRCM and M4-78 crew Download TSLRCM 1.8.3 HERE! Download M4-78EP HERE! It's advised to completely re-install The Sith Lords before applying 1.8.3. Afterwards, you can install M4-78EP (patched), then any compatible mods you desire...

  23. I have TSLRCM 1.8.3. and M4-78 EP 1.1 installed. I noticed in my overide that there are several .2da files like spells.2da and featgain.2da. I want to know if these mods are compatible: 1. Feat Progression for TSL by Shem Link: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Feat_Progression_for_TSL;76583 2. Increased Attributes and Skills for both KOTOR & TSL by Shem Link: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Increased_Attributes_and_Skills_for_both_KOTOR_TSL;67082 I really like gameplay balancing mods and character progression mods and just wanted to know if it's okay to override these specific .2da files. I really love TSLRCM and M4-78 EP, by the way.
