Main idea Has the time it takes to get from one end of Ahto City to the other ever seemed too long ? Has it ever annoyed you ? If so, this mod is exactly what you need. It adds a custom speeder, using LoneWanderer’s modder resource, to every part of the city, allowing you to traverse it in seconds. This mod is more an add-on to Capitaine Spoque’s Taris Rapid Transit System than a standalone one. Thus, to get the best game experience and as I used some of his sound files, you will first have to download his mod. You can find it here : https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/1666 However, if for some reason you don’t want it, you have 2 options : 1) You won’t have power on and off sounds for the speeder, even though it will still be enjoyable, don’t worry. 2) You download Capitaine Spoque’s mod but you do not install it on your game installation. You will instead go to his tslpatchdata folder, take the In.wav and out.wav files and put them in your streamwaves folder. Then you will have the power on and off sounds. I recommend copying these 2 files somewhere near my mod's location in case you need to reinstall it. After having done that, you can delete the rest of his mod from your computer. See Installation section for when to follow these steps. To give more realism to my mod, and in order to having a better insertion into the game, I added a new line to the security selkath who opens you the door to the city, as well as some directly on the speeders. You will have to load a save before entering Ahto City. Starting a game where you are in the docking bay module (and in which you’ve never been further into the city) should be good. Another important advice : if you haven't already, you should really consider downloading and installing (before mine) these 2 essential mods for Manaan, for it to look like in the screenshots (especially the blue ground that goes so well with the speeders imo) : 1) Manaan Complete Overhaul by Jorak Uln (animated and better textures) : 2) High Quality Skyboxes by Kexikus (better skies for every planet, including Manaan): Installation 1) Make sure you have the required mods, (especially Capitaine Spoque's unless you don't want to use it), installed 2) Download mine and unzip it (small tip if you’re struggling : use 7-Zip) 3) Run the installer and follow the instructions given by it 4) This is where you will do the option 2 steps given in the Main section if you really don’t want to use Capitaine Spoque’s mod. 5) You’re good to go. If you enjoy the mod (or even if you didn't, as long as it's constructive), feel free to leave a review. Doesn’t cost much and is really appreciated. To uninstall this mod, you will have to do what HoloPatcher put in the "backup" folder when you downloaded the mod (taking MOD and 2DA backup files, putting them back in your game installation, and removing my mod's files from Override and streamwaves). You can also delete the In and out .wav files from streamwaves if you didn't use Capitaine Spoque's mod. Important NB : If for some reason the Patcher can't find your game installation, you may want to look for it manually. In that case, there are some small steps to follow : - Go in the "tslpatchdata" folder - Look for "changes.ini" and open it (Edit or Edit with Notepad ++ for example) - Search "LookupGameFolder=1" in the first section (Settings) and set it to 0 instead of 1 - Save, close and run the Installer again. Now you'll be able to choose manually your game installation. Compatibility My mod is fully compatible with K1CP, as it is now (in 2025) the main reference for modders. It probably won't be compatible with K1R because it adds a row to placeables.2da which has a limit of rows, and from what I've understood K1R uses all of them. Apart from that, it will basically be compatible with everything as long as your placeable.2da has less than 255 rows filled (which should always be the case because apart from K1R, no mod adds as many rows to this file as it would require to reach the limit). furthermore, as I used HoloPatcher to modify the .2da and .mod files directly in your game installation, and also named my files with the most customized names I could, you shouldn’t have any conflict with mods you already have installed. However, if for some reason you encounter any issue, feel free to report to me. This mod will add upscaled textures for the Manaan part of the game. Except the skies, see note below. All textures are now 4x their original size. Example a 128x128 becomes 512x512, etc... I've not gone up to the 4096x4096 sizes as I don't see what that would add to this older game. A few textures do get to this size, example is the Ebon Hawk. Normal maps have also been redone, rerendered not just upscaled. It's still a 400% improvement on the older files. Have a peek at the screenshots and: Enjoy! In the vanilla version of the game there was a quest on Manaan which inolved you becoming a lawyer for an ex-Republic soldier who had supposedly murdered a Sith. This, if you followed it far enough, would eventually lead you to investigating around the embassies of both the Republic and the Sith. When you found some evidence, it was presented in the form of text, though referred to as a video by said text. I have taken this text and turned it into a video (a cutscene) showing the events which the text described.- 7 comments

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MANAAN MERC OVERHAUL for Star WarsTM - Knights of the Old Republic by garm343 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Version: 1.0.0 completed 9/9/20 Description: This mod makes changes to the appearance of the various mercenaries the player will encounter while on Manaan. It adds armor to the mercenaries who appear unarmored in the vanilla version of the game and changes the armor visible on each merc to one that is appropriate for that merc’s culture. For example, the Mandalorian merc will now wear Mandalorian armor and the Echani mercs will wear Echani armor. This mod also changes the faces and hair of the Echani mercs so that they now look like Echani (white hair, silvery eyes, and pale complexions). The stun baton carried by the Twi’lek merc in the underwater base is replaced with a heavy blaster instead. This mod does not alter the Iridorian merc’s appearance as he is already wearing his armor. Installation: Double-click on the installer icon and when prompted direct it to your game folder (“swkotor”, in most cases). After selecting the folder, the mod will install automatically. Uninstallation: Delete the files in your Override folder that have the same names as the files found in the mod’s tslpatchdata folder. Replace the .2da files in the Override folder with the ones from the mod’s backup folder if you have previously-installed mods you want to keep that altered these .2da files. I have a few points with KOTOR that I am trying to resolve. First, in the dialogue files such as the one attached below, do you know what Old Hit Check means and what it does? I want to know in case it is something that I might want to deselect. Second, I know on Manaan that you have equip a special diving suit to venture out underwater. Do you know if this can be changed with a mod or is hardwired into the game? I ask because I know there is a mod that allows you to take your party with you so I am hoping that I can keep the armor, headgear, and weapons that I normally have my character wear. Finally I want to know how to change the outfit for Bastilla. What I mean is that after she is taken by Malak and turns to the Dark Side she is shown wearing a black Jedi Robe. I want to know how to change her outfit so she will be wearing what I equip her with when she is in my party. For example, when she joins my party I will equipping her was a Blaster Cannon rather than a lightsaber and the Verpine Zal Alloy Mesh armor rather than robes. I want her to still be carrying, using, and wearing those items during the scene where Malak starts to entice her and when my character encounters her on the Unknown World and Star Forge System. I have edited the appearance.2da file by adding a new line (Line 509) changed the modules lines to the outfit I want. I have attached it here so you can see it. Please tell me if I am wrong anywhere. Now I need to know which columns to edit and how to give her the miscellaneous items and weapon I want. Also I absolutely want her to be wearing a headgear item so which columns do I edit for that. If I need to create new columns for these results how do I do that? Then after I have the appearance.2da file set I will edit the appearance lines in the Bastila.utc files to give the appearance I want. Does that sound right to all of you? Can you please tell me how to do all this? I am willing to take another look but I need to know what I am looking for. Is there another file that I need to be using? Hopefully by looking at them you can tell me where I went wrong. Also I am asking all of you to please check my other forum about editing placeables at the link below. I am having trouble getting a metal-box container to spawn by script, especially in the place I want it to. Perhaps you can tell me what I am doing wrong. A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 11.05.2018 Installation: Copy and Paste the file within "For Override" into your Kotor Override folder Uninstallation: Remove the file you copied from the Override folder Description: Queedle is an Ithorian Swoop Racer on Manaan, he seems all well and normal until you find out he claims he is from the world "Ando" (which is the same homeworld as the Aqualish species) and a Sith refers to him as an "Aqualish" which leads me to believe Queedle is supposed to be an Aqualish but during development his appearance was set to an Ithorian as both Ithorian and Aqualish NPCs share the same VO thus the confusion. This fix turns Queedle into an Aqualish Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Greetings, fellow Jedi! Have a nice weekend y'all. I'd love for a mod/resource which makes the big-screen inside the Manaan SB Training Room [Model Name: M27aa_20a] to have its Object306\LSI_lite08 showing the screen individually. Originally they went like this - I'm thinking that they could show something like this after the change - I could need only the the mesh split individually to make it possible to achieve the example above, and I'd love to work on the texture after that. As reiterated from DP - what you'd want to do is only to adjust the UVs, without splitting the mesh. As the UVs are currently set to tile the image 9 times, 3 rows of 3. To edit with ASCII - It only has 4 texture co-ords, one for each corner tverts 4 -1.005 2.005 -1.00499 -1.005 2.005 -1.005 2.00499 2.005 Change that to tverts 4 0.0 1.0 0.0 0.0 1.0 0.0 1.0 1.0 In GMax the way you would do it is to add an Unwrap UVW modifier above the Editable Mesh, click the Edit button, the in Vertex mode enable snapping, make sure you have the UVW Move tool selected, then snap each corner to the outline of the 0-1 space (the thick outlined black box in the middle). Greetings, fellow Jedi! Hope y'all doing fine. I need an assistance on guessing what these are: Are they AuroraLight or Lightmap? The area model in discussion is m26aa_14a. The problem is - I have changed every AuroraLight's Color Controllers there to my likings but they don't seem to linked with the glowy area around the yellow marks. So I guess I'm stucked and needing assistance to proceed further. Many thanks for considering this and may the Force be with you!

Greetings, fellow Jedi! Hope y'all doing fine. On Ahto City there's a beautiful cantina with [supposedly] beautiful scenery there. Unfortunately, they're blocked by an arrogant wall of metal, lol. I pick up the area model which is m26aa_11a and delete the vertex which supposed to be the metal-wall so they looked like this: But I'm stuck with a platform/structure on the high seas there. They're positioned above the water levels so they have that redundant part that are shown as seen with the first and third images. The structure's texture in talk supposedly LMA_bboard01. So, what I'm requesting is: Could someone remove the metal-walls similarly like the images above and repositioned the background-structure so the upper part of it rises at the same level as the water. Update: in the end - managed to did it myself, hahah. The relevant model is m26aa_set, and the mesh is Box01z. By using KOTORmax we can lowered the bottom part of the mesh to the same level as the sea; note that I used the grid as an indicator for the ground level. The result is far from perfect but I'm personally pleased with it:

JC2 PRESENTS REVENGE ON THE SASSY SITH LADY Reason: After watching a ShemL video (RIP (Retire-In-Peace) ex-modder), I decided to allow the PC to use the Force on the Sassy Sith lady. Content: All vanilla options are kept, and (3ish) additional options are added. These options allow the PC to take revenge of different levels on the Sith minion who insults your eyes, calls you a coward, and tries to rob you. Not to mention threats you with the "wrath of the Sith." (1) Light side option (2) Dark side options to force choke/kill and,or force dominate Summary: This is a small mod that has way to many scripts attached to it, but it should add a little flavor to Manaan, by allowing the PC to get a little more "direct" revenge on this annoying Sith minion. It is similar in concept to Kill Marlena, I recommend checking that mod out as well. Installation: Unzip and run the tslpatcher, manual install is not an option. Special note to Android users: Manual install option does not exist because of the globalcat.2da file, in this mod, and is used in every major mod that exists, therefore, I assume that you would want to download better mods, and encourage you to download other mods. 1.50 Update: I recommend updating the mod by reinstalling it, or simply copy and pasting the man26_sithyell.dlg and the man26_sithyell2.dlg files into the override replacing the (2) older files. You can find these two files inside the tslpatchdata folder. Note: This is a special case. Please do not do this with other mods as most mods require the tslpatcher to run before they can function properly! Any feedback is appreciated, though it would be helpful if you tried the mod first! Info =========== During the visit to Korriban, it could be observed that the ambient music was correctly played for some areas. The combat music however, was the same as the one in the Sith bases, and the tombs in the Valley of the Dark Lords used the Sith theme for ambient music. Also, the Sith embassy on Manaan used the Korriban ambient music instead of Sith base one. This mod corrects this by setting all the Korriban areas to use its ambient and combat music, and setting the Manaan embassy to use Sith theme for ambient music. 2. This fix turns Queedle into an Aqualish Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Does anyone happen to have a save game that includes the following information: PC just finished 3rd planet, and moving on to the fourth planet. Has not gone to the planet of Manaan, even the landing zone on the planet surface! I need Manaan to be the fourth planet. I'm working on Shanilia Grey Jedi Merchant Mod, and I'm testing out my dlg file. Inside the dlg file are different scripts to check for "availability of node," I want to find out which ones work. Before you ask, I have checked the files in SavedGames forums. It's the third planet for djh269, which has been very helpful, but I require it to be the fourth.
