Did anyone ever fix the cut exile soundsets?
Sith Holocron replied to GeneralStrife's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
As this discusses ported materials, this thread is closed. Continue this conversation in PMs if you wish to ramble on about this. -

Why it's not okay to upload someone else's mods
Sith Holocron replied to Xuul's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
I'm assuming it's because someone banned him from here. Surprisingly, it wasn't me who did it. -

Did anyone ever fix the cut exile soundsets?

If the files are only on the K1 discs and aren't on the K2 discs, then it's porting. -

Pikmin's stuff is ported materials. Which is against site rules. Move along, move along. -
When submitted this for approval way bay back on July 19th, I requested the following things to be added to the file description. He made none of those changes so I thought I'd approve it and let the general public state the same conclusion. If you feel there isn't enough information on the release thread to justify downloading the mod, please inform the mod creator of that. Actual mod reviews would also be helpful but that's just obvious.

ChrisC26, check the rules thread under flaming then table your discussion. -
This is more of random discussion thread with no heavy ulterior motive here. In your opinion, if someone was to create Coruscant Landing and Take off Videos for deathdisco's Jedi Temple Mod, how do you imagine they would be set up visually? What would happen in the video? Finally, what KOTOR2 music would you imagine playing behind the action and sound effects? (If you don't know the song titles, feel free to link to the song you'd use from the KOTOR2 soundtrack with one of song videos from this playlist in your response.) I'm interested to see where this goes.

Why it's not okay to upload someone else's mods
Sith Holocron replied to Xuul's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Perhaps we should look at folks having these mods in private archives as an opportunity. We can suggest they assist other moddders over at the LucasForums' thread "Mod Link Requests from PCGM, KotOR Files and other Sites" by sending them links to archives via PMs. Milestails would probably welcome the assistance. -

Is his YouTube monetized? I suppose you could go after his YouTube channel too if that were the case... -

I wonder if these kind of folks uploading everything will affect honest modders that won't upload new mods for fear that some asshat will attempt to take credit for it. -

1) Reported that mod and was glad to do it especially because . . . 2) That same "guy" - and I use that term loosely - had uploaded most of my mods. They got taken down either because I asked Xuul to talk with him or because I said I would have them uploaded in a week from the time they were yanked down. (Maybe you understand now why I was in a hurry to upload to that place now?) 3) Not a fan of Steam Workshop - not one bit - but if it takes of my friends here to upload it in order to actually get acknowledgement, so be it. 4) Someone tried uploading a mod that wasn't theirs here last night. The person even admitted the mod wasn't theirs! That attempt failed and that person was banned. -
Reminder: Upload mods that aren't yours, you get banned. Just like the guy that tried that.
-
Yeah banning is way harsh for something like that, some people just want others to enjoy mods from certain sites that have shut down.
-
Just found a comment by the guy who tried uploading a mod that wasn't his on Steam and it doesn't seem like he even knows he got banned. So maybe a warning would have been better and if it happens a second time it's time to ban him.
-
Yeah, he didn't deserve to be banned maybe he didn't know it was wrong to upload other peoples mods.

If you wish to continue down the road of making themed mods based around Spanish speaking people. how about Jimmy Smits as he appeared in the prequels?
-
Well if don't want to wait until then, now you have another option.
-
Try fiverr.com?
-
If you have a version that is complete without the destroyed buildings, I would be interested in that too.

I'll reserve my response to whom I made the request - i.e. the OP

Loading Bar Stops At A Certain Point And Plays Start Screen Music?I
Sith Holocron replied to ZenMusic's topic in TSLRCM
BTW, did you read the READ ME FIRST and the Compatibility Threads before starting? SLM is currently incompatible with M4-78 EP. He's working on a fix but . . . Rome wasn't built in a day. Yes. Permanently. Read the READ ME SECOND thread for instructions. -
Why do you need to destroy buildings for the BOS:SR skybox?
-
Which I read and could not make neither heads or tails of - because it's written someone familiar with VDF files (whatever they are) and other things that presumably a general Steam user would be. I'm not a general Steam user and don't ever plan to be. So I need an easy guide like the OP made.
