  1. @SAO1138 Isn't purple the color of Vapaad users? Or those who toe the line between light and dark? I get wanting Vima to stand out a bit more but I don't think you should do so for the sake of it
    A massiv improvement of the Telos storyline in particular but it is sadly pretty noticeble that there wasn't much else left of the original storyline that can be worked with beyond that. Once you get to Nar Shaddaa, the GenoHaradanpretty much stops being relevant, then pops up right after G0T0's yacht blows up, you have a small boss fight and then their role in the story is already over. You never even get to know who exactly hired them to hunt down the remaining Jedi (or at the very least the Exile) and that is a bit of a bummer. Needless to say, what little there was to be restored has me intrigued for the planned "Enhancement Project".
    I think this mod could use another patch or two, because it seems to me that the team behind it made the mistake of not only including content that Obsidian was unable to put into the game in time but also restored things that were deliberately cut by Obsidian. Cut because they were an early idea that got quickly abandoned, a bad idea or part of a plot-point that simply no longer fit into their final vision for Kotor 2's story. Things such as Kaevee, Sion telling the Exile on Peragus that he's there to warn them despite being there to kill them, Saedhe's original head which clearly doesn't fit his VA, the struggling Duros merchant Dendis Dobo suddenly selling Jedi Robes, Lightsaber Crystals and Melee -as well as ranged weapons just like his criminal brother, Kreia and Atris revealing in their conversation that Kreia manipulated Atris into exiling the Exile or the player now being able to control Brianna AND being given the option to have her stun rather than kill her sisters (doesn't work with Kreia still calling Brianna a slayer of her own kin on Malachor V if the stun option was actually taken). Likewise, there are a few other things that the mod should've restored but didn't for some reason, requiring separate mods to do so instead. The most frustrating example here being the original head model for Brianna's Sisters, as Brianna is constantly stated to look different from her sisters due to her having a different mother despite her and her sisters all using the same head model. Or for less gear grinding but still disappointing examples: Dustil's appearance on Korriban and the Vao Armband.

    I think having it spawn in the inventory of a merchant would've been better but alas
  2. Since Dustil can die in Kotor 1, will he appear regardless of wether or not Revan is set to be darkside at the beginning of K2?
  3. Is the Mod compatible with the Sneak Attack 10 Restoration Mod?
    Juhani always belonged to the Kotor 1 companions who got the rather short end of the stick. So while this mod may not fix all my issues with her character, I do appreciate the effort to make her feel more complete.
    I never understood why there were no Iriaz on Dantooine, despite everyone on Dantooine always talking about there being both Iriaz and Kathhounds on Dantooine. Must have mod for anyone (like me) who wishes for this inconsistency to be fixed.

  5. Well, it's just an idea. At the end of the day, I don't know her character as well as he does, so I'll leave the brainstorming to you two lol. Speaking of SAO though: @SAO1138 Remember when you mentioned that the vanilla companions still don't acknowledge Vima in the recent updates? Well, it ain't much but I think that Zalbaar at least could work out. I also have an idea of what such an interaction could look like: Vima tells him that he reminds her of a Bantha, causing an indignant reaction on his part. I could see that making some players giggle at least. Also, also: @SAO1138 Leilukin wants to patch her Revan Romance Redux Mod for Kotor 2, to make it friendlier towards a Vanilla Kotor 1 playthrough. If you like and if Vima's VA is up for it, why don't you consider a similair small project that gives a romanced Vima, light -or darkside, a cameo appearance in Kotor 2?
  6. My idea was based on a character archetype, that I really like, which is that of the "Doomed Hero". A character who is in the process of dying or facing a fate that to them is akin to or worse than death, leading to them using their remaining time for something they deem meaningful, so that they can leave the world without regret (in her case, finding someone with the talent for battle meditation, leading to Bastila learning that ability from Nomi). All Star Superman's Superman, MHA's All Might, ASOIAF's Jon Connington, Pedro and Whitebeard from One Piece and so on just to name a few examples of that archetype. And as to the when, I would've said the beginning of the war. Nomi leaves Coruscant to aid the Republic during the first battles, Revan uses HK or lures her into a trap (creating a parallel to what the Jedi will later do to him/her) or both. At the end of the day however, that's just my idea based on my preferences. I obviously can't tell you two what to do and I admittedly never read her comics, so I don't know what exactly would make sense for her character.
  7. I personally would go with something Revan related. Kotor 2 established him/her as a cold, ruthless master tactician who commited acts like bombing Telos, one of the many Jedi bases that the order created in case of a necessary retreat, just to send them a message, one who used precise strikes of assassination and sabotage against the Republic to weaken it without crippling it's machinery and who prefered capturing and turning Jedi rather than killing them unless it was deemed necessary. So it stands to reason that for them, Grandmaster Nomi Sunrider would be a very valuable asset in the war against the true Sith-Empire yet the very power that makes her so valuable as a potential ally would naturally also make her a potential threat to Revan themselves. So I could indeed imagine a scenario were Revan either did something to her that would cripple her abilities for a certain periode of time without actively killing her OR that they tried to capture, torture and turn her like many other Jedi, but that the attempt failed and Nomi managed to get away, but that the event had an unintended side-effect of her connection to the force being damaged someway somehow, forcing her to eitherretreat and try to restore her abilities, while also trying to teach Bastila how to use battle meditation after finding out that she possesses the capabilities to learning and mastering that ability as well. How exactly Revan would accomplish such a thing, I dunno. In case of a genuin assassination attempt however, I could maybe imagine him trying to use a poison made from the blood of a force resistent creature such as the Terentatek (or something in that direction at least). As for Kantarra in @SAO1138's Sleheyron Mod, there is a throw away line were Kantarra mentions that she and Yuthura got forcibly separated by Omeesh by having Kantarra sold to Aratech and if asked, she says that the reason for it was that, I quote, "slave owners are not fond of pairings between slaves that cannot result in offspring. It is bad business for them". Here is a vid from the S:SM playthrough through which I encountered the mod. The aforementioned line comes at 21:25 @SAO1138
    I've been looking forever for a mod that finally acknowledges the fact that Juhani is, indeed, a romance option for a female lightsided Revan. And with the most recent update of this mod, my prayers have finally answered! So if you are like me and want a mod that allows you to select whom your Revan character ended up with in Kotor 1, then you can't go wrong with this one
    A simple but much needed fix for a more immersive Kotor 2, that has become a main stay in all my playthroughs ever since I first installed it
  8. Hello there! @SAO1138 I didn't mention it the last time I commented on this mod but there were a few other drawbacks that this mod had that you should probably consider fixing in a future patch (if you haven't already that is):
    My one and only gripe with this mod is that it isn't part of TSLRCM. It is such a minor yet really crucial restoration in my book and it really surprises me that the TSLRCM team hasn't incorporated into TSLRCM in another patch by now
    Much better than the Remote Tells Influence Mod in my book. If only for the fact that the Ebon Hawk computer doesn't make that REALLY ANNOYING SOUND while I'm checking in on said influence
  9. Should I install this before or after RC-K1CP?
    A much needed polish for the TSLRCM Mod imo, that removes a couple of unnecessary restorations from TSLRCM which only detracted from the experience rather than enhancing it (Kaevee, Kreia being behind the Exile's exile etc). One that I would recommend as a "Must Have" for Kotor 2 alongside TSLRCM, JC's Handmaiden Sisters and the Kotor 2 Community Pack. I also really appreciate the fact that the mod gives you the option to use all it's components selectively, which I have found to not always be a given since I started moddifiying my games. That being said, I think that the Tweak Pack could still use a few updates, as it doesn't cover all restorations that make the game worse and that require separate mods to be removed or have no deticated mod for their removal as of yet. Restorations such as Sion telling the Exile on Peragus that he is there to warn them for some reason, the shop inventory of Dendis Dobo on Telos or Brianna now being able to stun her sisters which conflicts with Kreia calling her a "slayer of her own kin". And it is my personal hope that one day in the future, the TSLRCM Tweak pack will receive an update to cover these restorations as well.
  10. ...oh. I forgot about that drawback In that case, this probably would be the best option. Say: On the danger of sounding like a dick but would it be possible to maybe change the official voice cast for the Sleheyron characters somewhere down the line? I don't wanna beat down on any of the people who helped bring this mod to life, I really don't. But the VA performances in this mod are just bad. Like, really bad. 😟
  11. I found this mod via a playthrough on YouTube and honestly? I think that @SAO1138's refusal to use AI in the VA department works against this Mod, mainly because the vanilla companions are uncharacteristically silent throughout all the events on Sleheyron. That and (with the exception of T3) they also never acknowledge the new companion, which really hurts immersion. I dunno how realistic this request of mine is but I think that a future update, that includes at least some AI voice acting for the Kotor companions, would really help this mod. If not as part of the two main parts, then at least as an optional component for users who aren't vehemently against anything and everything AI.
  12. On a different note: There is a bug with Carth's unique blaster textures. Whenever I have that option installed, everytime I open the equipment menu, Carth's Blaster icon only appears as a white square. I wasn't sure originally, wether this is due to a mod conflict or not but apparently a different user has already reported the same issue back in 2024, so it seems to be an older bug with this mod
