Hey folks, I don't usually start a WIP topic, but I could use some help with testing this one. It's a lot of chars, I'm only human and it's very possible that I overlooked something. If you're going to help out then it's probably useful if you post here that you're testing version X, so that we're not all doing the same one. I think starting the game with one or more chars and trying all 3 classes (and their default class clothing) should be good. I don't expect you to test all the dark side transitions, that's not doable and I doubt I made a mistake there. I can of course assist with undoing/correcting what the installers add if you run into anything. Thanks in advance. p.s. screenshots are included in the download p.s.2 spotting something that's off in the installer text is also welcome Char list: Female PFT01_Ramana PFT02_Dahnis PFT03_Lena PFT04_Zaerdra PFT05_Blue_W PFT06_Blue PFT07_Borna PFT08_AssassinA PFT09_AssassinB PFT10_Red PFT11_Yuthura PFT12_Mission Male PMT01_Green PMT02_Orange PMT03_Blue PMT04_Pale_Blue PMT05_Light_Blue PMT06_Xor PMT07_Zhar PMT08_Red PMT09_Komad Feb 4th Edit: Okay, ran into an issue with those green ones myself, investigating. Feel free to join me. Feb 4th Edit2: I think I found the issue, the green ones seem good again (download updated). Feb 5th Edit: Fixed/improved things after TamerBill's feedback (download updated). Feb 7th Edit: Zhar adjusted. "Komad" added. All females tested. Feb 8th Edit: Alright, basic testing is done. Thanks again to TamerBill for helping. Effixians_K1_Twilek_PC_Pack.zip

LT_Gold_Jedi_Star_Forge_Robes.zip I think this should be it, but some testing wouldn't hurt, mainly because I did none. If you're interested, have a look at changes.ini (you can open it with Notepad). It's like the recipe of what the Patcher does, in this case it's fairly straight forward. The installer will likely give warnings about files you already have, but that's fine, they're not errors. Oh, and if all works then you might want to tweak info.rtf, the Bugs section. On Windows you can just double click an .rtf to edit it.

Yes, but... party members, it's not a main char excluse item. In my last playthrough I saved up so many spikes that I made 3 robes. I'll see if can help with that.

You can change this with the TSL Patcher if you want to. I think they thought it was fine because both models work with that texture. It's also likely that they didn't think modding this game would become so popular. I think some other models also use the same texture, but do use ones with male and female names, a bit inconsistent.

Sorry for your loss. You might know that I like doing reskins, but I'm not sure if I can come up with something better. I like SH's 2nd one.

With KSE, check your player appearance and those of your party members. I suspect something is empty, if there is then set the appearance (and while you're at it also the portrait, which is likely also empty).

May I suggest using the attached file instead? It uses 2DAMEMORY entries in changes.ini, to keep things compatible with already modded files. Edit: You should also have vanilla 2da files in the tslpatchdata folder. The ones in here have the mod applied to it, they are used to create the backup files and this way that doesn't work correctly. changes.ini 5/5 if you fix that

KOTOR 2 UNLIMITED WORLD TEXTURE MOD Compatability
Effix replied to Todd Hellid's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
Using my logic I would think that it should work if you add High Quality Skyboxes II after that one. -
Wrong section, this section is mostly for automatically generated posts that come from mods that are published in the downloads section. Try https://deadlystream.com/forum/23-general-kotortsl-modding for modding issues. That aside, I have no idea what a 999.mod would be, where is that from?

The desktop is also a folder, its location is likely something like C:\Users\YourName\Desktop. You can right click a folder on your desktop, then click properties to see its location.
-
Did you point the installer to the main game folder? p.s. This is the wrong section of the forum, General Kotor/TSL Modding would be more fitting.

I've updated the mod. The mouth looks fine now. There is a new issue, though; There seems to be an eyes/eyelids clipping issue when your character is sleeping at the very start of the game. Things look fine when the character blinks and I don't think there are other "sleeping" scenes, so I hope this is fine.

I think we can only speculate about some of that, but I haven't read anywhere that the Massassi are some kind of spawn from Sith alchemy. I think it's more like our genus (homo), you had several different sub-species walking the Earth at the same time. Humanoid doesn't exactly mean "look the most like a human", it's more like "2 legs, 2 arms and a head", so the Massassi are also humanoid. "To have fully evolved" is also something that's open to discussion, an ant is great at what it does and the species thrives. From what I understand, the ones that call themselves Purebred are actually quite deluted genetically, ironic.

(Kotor 1) kotor tool error when finding game
Effix replied to Saul_R97's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
That's pointing the entry of K2 to the path of K1, better not do that. You save as whateverdoesntmatter.reg (filename doesn't matter, it's like a recipe to add an entry to the registry). Double click the file and it asks if you're sure you want to add it to the registry. In your case it should be something like: K1 Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\BioWare\SW\KOTOR] "path"="D:\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\swkotor" K2 Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\LucasArts\KotOR2] "Path"="D:\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\Knights of the Old Republic II" Note the difference in Bioware/LucasArts. Or combine things in one file: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\BioWare\SW\KOTOR] "path"="E:\\Games\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\swkotor" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\LucasArts\KotOR2] "Path"="E:\\Games\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\Knights of the Old Republic II" -
(Kotor 1) kotor tool error when finding game
Effix replied to Saul_R97's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
If you have your registry entries in order then you shouldn't have to mess with the Path Manager. I don't even have a settings.xml, so not sure what that error is about, maybe a temporary file it creates. Did you check the Steam guide I linked you? Not an expert on .NET framework versions, but usually it will not launch a piece of software at all if it's not adequate and give you a notice about it. -

Btw you can use the number keys (1, 2, 3 etc.) if your goal is to avoid clicking with the mouse.
