  1. Jorak, are you planning to do a K1 version of this?
  2. It depends on what nostalgia you mean, Rogue One was nostalgia in terms of design and filled with nostalgic Easter Eggs, while Episode VII was nostalgic through its storyline. What I noticed is that when we see Kylo Ren's face during duel, he has a scar and a cataract on his right eye, finally looking decent and intimidating. I also liked every shot with Rey and Ahch-To. And, every rumour turned out to be false - that we won't see Luke (No face-revealing, yet he's present) and that we'll see Princess General Leia.
  3. Change every "/" in BoS:SR's changes.ini except date and "N/A" near the top of the text (in the first or second section) into "\". This should fix your issues with BoS:SR installation. I've got no idea about K1R though, maybe you should try redownloading and reunpacking the file.
  4. Tatooine Sith Battle, as NDrew said, from what I recall he was actually playing K1EP, is intentional. I don't know what is the origin of Marl bug though, maybe it was intentional as Soldier clothing looks more like moving and taking your stuff outfit, a bug within a script or some wrong clothing in the UTC. BoS:SR isn't a good example in this case, as a compatibility patch is included.
  5. Dark Jedi Bug: But they have around 90% health each when my party dies, I don't have enough stimulants and medpacs and I don't want to cheat with Call of Aid Marl Bug: Well, that doesn't look nice. Outcast Children Bug: They are Mandalorians. They don't use armor, they just are Mandalorians. Kandon Ark Bug: K1R restores some lines to both of these dialogs I mentioned Iriaz Bug: They're not attacked by Kath hounds as intended and when you click on one of the Iriaz, it turns to you, stops walking and the whole group stops, not starting walking again. Also, from what I recall, there was a request to make Iriaz aggressive only to Kath Hounds so I guess they should be hostile. Jedi Holocron Bug was previously reported, so I guess the issue is quite common and probably originates in wrong setting of TSLPatcher. Would you mind taking a look at it? Tar'eelok bug actually originates in her wearing a Jedi Master armor, which replaces D-class, and due to her being the only green Jedi in the game and being restored by K1R, there was no need to give her a new entry with D-class contents changed. Garrum is quite weird, though. Floating Lightsabers: It's from a different mod by Darth InSidious, so his TSLPatchers probably have issues. I've seen some threads to fixing the grass, so I'll seek hope there. Sadly, KotOR on AMD Radeon 7900 sometimes is weird. As I have a really good reskin to Dantooine, I hate missing the grass. Also, BoS:SR is officially compatible with K1R when installed first and K1EP includes a compatibility patch to BoS:SR, and the dialog bugs I mentioned originate probably from K1R, so K1R + K1EP are an incompatible bundle I guess. Thanks for your feedback, will you be willing to take a look into some of the issues?
  6. So, I initially wanted to post it after I finish the game, but it unfortunately turned to be impossible due to the Dark Jedi on Tatooine being unbeatable (I visited Tatooine first), so I cannot progress further, but I use really many mods, including K1 Enhancement Pack. From the beginning of the game, it turned out that my mod list is not perfect and causes many bugs. My mods (in installation order): Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge 1.5 KotOR 1 Restoration 1.2 (only Main and Iriaz sections, without the dialog.tlk) SpaceAlex's K1 Enhancement Pack 1. NPC Modification Pack 1.1. Main Mod 1.2. Bonus Content Darth Bandon Echani - Stripped (NPCs only) 2. Party Members 2.1. Canderous, Carth, HK-47, Jolee, Juhani, Mission, Zaalbar - Main Content Only 2.2. Bastila 2.2.1. Robe Set & Dark Side Bastila - everything from here, dropped required textures from Bastila's Revelation Robes later 2.2.2. Extra Dialog on Dantooine 2.2.3. Extra Dialog on Tatooine 2.3. Juhani 3. PC 3.1. PC Default Clothing 4. Miscellaneous 4.1. Armors (without Modified Stats) 4.2. Jedi Robes 4.3. Jedi Knight & Master Robes 4.4. Bodies Stay 5. Compatibility 5.2. Brotherhood of Shadow 5.5. Weapons of the Old Republic <b>(installed after WOTOR) SpaceAlex's K1EP - Invisible Head Fix Shanilia 1.02 (with .utis for the Jedi Robes edited so that they use Jedi Robe base item types instead of Knight/Master, reason - point 4.3 from K1 Enhancement Pack) Fallen Guardian's Weapon Model Overhaul Texture Rework High Quality Blasters 1.1 Weapons of the Old Republic 1.0 (changed the installer so that it overwrites files in the Override) Dantooine Training Lightsabers Genoharadan - Light Side (with dialogs that couldn't be overwritten dropped into the Override, overwriting previous ones) Save Mission 1.4b Enslave Zaalbar 1.5 Bendak Bounty Rework Bendak Starkiller Emblem Armour Bendak Bounty Rework and Emblem Armor Compatibility Patch Juhani Catlike Head Mod (sections 0 and 1 installed, with P_JuhaniBB63.tga renamed to P_JuhaniBB02.tga and ia_cloths_062.tga and ia_cloths_063.tga renamed to ia_juhanibb_001.tga and ia_juhanibb_002.tga, section 8 completely omitted reason - point 2.3 from K1 Enhancement Pack) Ajunta Pall Unique Appearance (with TSLPatcher set myself) Different Music for Ancorhead and the Ebon Hawk Four Force Powers Lightsaber and Force Forms KotOR Sith Trooper Appearance Quanon's Bastila Shan Reskin (fixed model only) Bastila Shan HD by Quanon and Dark Hope 1.1 SWTOR-style HK-47 for K1 And a couple of, at least so far, issue-less reskins So, I got following bugs so far: Endar Spire Two Darth Bandons during Trask's Death Sequence (fixed by removing g_bandon001.utc from the Override) Taris Carth's Blaster has High Quality Blasters appearance instead of WOTOR one. Maybe it's just my stupidity, but I can't find a second Sith armor for Carth. Deadeye Duncan and Gerlon Two-Fingers do not wear the costumes shown on the screenshot, despite their .utcs being in the Override and including these armors. Marl wears cyan default soldier clothing when he leaves the cantina after you defeated Bendak. Outcast Children wear cyan and dirty-golden Mandalorian armours from K1EP. Black Vulkar's in the Control Room and Kandon Ark's dialogs have no voiceover, so they switch very quickly. Zaerdra does not have her unique appearance when she makes comments about the accelerator. Dantooine Tar'eelok wears Bonadan Heavy Armor suit or any other red D-class suit, while Garrum wears default TSL clothing and, oddly enough, is red instead of green (this could be probably fixed by creating a new appearance.2da entry for Tar'eelok, using PFBK in D-class fields, I don't know about Garrum, as he, I guess, was intended to wear normal Jedi robe, not the Knight/Master one - if I could request, would it be possible to give Garrum Senni Vek's head from K1EP and a yellow training saber from Kexikus' mod, while giving Tar'eelok the Jedi Master robe Vrook wears and a violet training saber). Iriaz are not hostile and not attacked by Kath hounds, thus making them migrate through the map in large groups, sometimes stopping and blocking the narrower ways. Not really a bug, but Juhani comes with a beige Jedi Knight robe. Could it be changed so that she gives a red Jedi robe again? Jedi Holocron appears as a bed. Ebon Hawk There are containers in the Ebon Hawk's Cargo Hold which you can click and open, but are completely empty. Sasha speaks generic female Twi'lek voice that doesn't match the words she's saying. Tatooine Dark Jedi ambushing you are so strong so that they are unbeatable even on easy Miscellaneous D-class armors are not removed from the game, being in stores, appearing as Jedi council armors on the main player and Force-sensitive party members (maybe the "Stores" section fixes it, but I guess not completely, considering the fact that I looted one Heavy Combat Armor from a corpse near the Sith one with the serum in the Undercity, if it's possible and not too hard, I would ask to remove these armors completely from the stores and loots) Jedi Knight and Master armors restrict some of the Force Powers (I would ask not for doing what K1EP should do while installing 4.3, Force armor restriction balances the game well, so I would only like the restriction to be removed from the robes) Floating Lightsabers (at least I) appears not as a floating lightsaber, but as a woman with a lightsaber wearing a scout suit with some strange red and yellow lines Graphics White Sith Troopers are way too shiny Bastila's eyes have a bare metal shine in some angles Textures disappearing sometimes, turning the game on and off usually fixes the issue Grass bug that causes parts of your characters' legs to be invisible in favor of background It would be probably a lot of work, but these mod pack gives me a pretty immersive and enjoyable experience, so I would be grateful and swear a life debt to a person that is willing to fix these bugs.

    Jolee Loadsreen

Oh, this looks nice! Maybe you could ask SithSpecter for his loadscreen pattern so that it follows the pattern of KotOR loadscreens even more! Are you planning a version for Loadscreens in Color?
  8. Wow, doesn't this give us possibilities to recreate landing/leaving cutscenes in higher quality?
  9. I understand the reason this mod was created, yet I disagree with its description. Killing a woman for punishing a shameless womanizer is not bringing justice as a Jedi Knight. It is sexism. Even blindly following the Jedi Code Bastila understands it, and suggests you to kill Marlena's husband. Marlena is not psychotic. She is just a member of Jennifer Lopez's Midlife Crisis' Husband Punishers Association. EDIT: Seriously? Five options that result in killing Marlena? I would understand one, but five different options to bring patriarchy into the galaxy is way too much.
  10. But it's written on page of Kainzorus' mod, informing that in 1.8.5 the issue was fixed through feats.2da.
  11. Why do we have to use Kainzorus Prime's mod for proper icons? Much more people use TSLRCM, which fixes the Proficiency and Focus icon order, and using the full version of the aforementioned mod would unfix the bug. For fixing this to be fitting with TSLRCM, we need to copy only heavy weapons icons from Kainzorus' mod?
  12. Hmmm.... I think I'll choose GoG version. There are already a couple of Widescreen fixes for 4CD, GoG and KotOR collection versions, I don't necessarily need an Aspyr one. Not having an English KotOR 1 motivates me to translate mods, improving my skills in both languages. I'll try my 4CD KotOR before choosing, because if it happened that K1 isn't working, too, I think I'll need an English KotOR quite badly.
  13. Well, I just checked KotOR offers on Steam and GoG and it seems like, since GoG supports my currency (PLN - Polish Zloty), GoG version would be minimally cheaper. Could someone recommend me which one is better? From what I remember, though I'm not 100% sure, is that GoG is just a classic old KotOR with an Aspyr update, which could be quite useful as my monitor is 1440x900 and I use Windows 7, with old good launcher and everything else, which, including saving 2 PLN (currently around 0.47€) would be more fitting my tastes and needs. Also, there are even cheaper KotOR Collection DVDs in Polish shops, with both English versions and with Polish KotOR 1 and English TSL, and English K1 could be useful for modding to me, but I don't know if with newer operation systems would be guaranteed.
  14. I think I'm not going to use any of Steam Workshop mods, including TSLRCM and M4-78EP. I think I feel safer with traditional semi-manual ways of installing mods, does this still apply?
  15. Okay, so I found some cracks (physical ones) on CD number 2. To find whether they are the cause of issue or rather there's something in the system, I'll try installing KotOR 1. If my CD is indeed the issue, I'll try getting KotOR 2 on Steam - hopefully my computer is good enough to run Steam TSL even with this having abstractly high requirements update. I've also got one question: does using manually installed TSLRCM or content mods that alter the original storyline break Steam Achievements? And are operations on modules supported?
  16. Djh269 already asked for it in the comments, but are you going to do the same mod for melee weapons, too? Long Swords could have Critical Strike, Shorts Swords could have Flurry and Double-bladed Swords could have Power Attack. Also, lightsaber upgrades could give them combat feats, so they could be less useless in game, as now they give only minimal stay bonuses. I've also got one more question - do blaster upgrades give new feats or improve the current ones? Or do they still only give better stats?
  17. 1) During the game, when did the problem begin to occur? After the character creation 2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? N/A 3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, GOG, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version? 4CD version, UK region. 4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? (4-CD version ONLY) Yes, both UK 1.0a and 1.0b were installed (in order). 5) Did you use the TSLPatcher, if provided? N/A 6) Were there any errors in the TSLPatcher installation? N/A 7) What other mods have you installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.) No mods at all 8) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? The error happens after I create a character. If I don't use Windows XP SP2 Compatibility Mode and "Run As Administrator" in properties, everything is fine until I get to choose whether I want to play or skip the prologue, then I cannot even look at the options because of the game crashing to desktop. With Windows XP SP2 Compatibility Mode and "Run as Administrator", the game crashes before first movies, during the loading of 001EBO. I followed everything in Sith Holocron's Guide until operations with swkotor2.ini. I cannot save the modified file, it says "Access Denial" when I try to. I also didn't do the things labeled with Windows Vista Only. 9) Have you tried re-downloading the mod? N/A 10) Have you tried using a different save game? Fresh install, no savegames to try. 11) Have you tried starting a new game? Yes, a couple of times. 12) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.) Windows 7 SP1 Professional. 13) What language is your game set for? English (United Kingdom) I would also like to inform that this is not the first time when installing the game results in an ultimate failure. On the same computer, everything was fine until I moved it to another room a couple of months ago and replaced a HDD Disc with an SSD one. I didn't need to perform any additional actions to install KOTOR 2, then. I also tried installing TSLRCM with hope of it fixing the crash in prologue, but it didn't work either.
  18. Quoting Wookieepedia:In Knights of the Old Republic, the Cathar Jedi Juhani speaks Basic, albeit with a heavy Slavic-like accent, with rolled "r"s and "w"s that sound like "v"s. Murghir, a bounty hunter and foe in the Great Hunt encountered by the Bounty Hunter class in The Old Republic, also speaks with such an accent. It is possible that this is meant to represent a Catharian accent. However, a Cathar companion of the Trooper class in TOR, Aric Jorgan, and a Cathar Jedi Master, Ryen had no such accents. So Juhani isn't the one character, there's also Murghir. What I found interesting is that females speak with such accent, while males do not (or at least the ones in SWTOR don't). Also, there was once an explanation that Aric Jorgan doesn't speak with such accent because he wasn't born on Cathar. I don't think that the accent is necessary, but it'd be an interesting addition. Also, you used the term actress, SH. Ferroh is a male. @JC2, I meant a screenshot that is attached to this blog. You wrote "as seen on a screenshot" when you mentioned the misspelling.
  19. So this mod is ultimately going to be done? I think I'll pass out from happiness!
  20. JC2, you included a wrong screenshot. Also, a sidequest could be nice! But for Ferroh, you should find a person with a strong Slavic accent to voice him, as it's a Star Wars tradition for Cathar to sound like Poles or Russians who just started learning English.
  21. Well, in K1 there's an option to kill Griff if you don't have Mission in your party while you meet him. His appearance could be dependent from dialogue with Borna Lys, maybe you can choose if Revan killed Griff like when Borna Lys starts speaking about him, she could mention that she has no idea who this Twi'lek really is and that there are stories that he was once a prisoner in the Sand People Enclave during Revan's mission to Tatooine. Then there could be some dialog options: No way this could happen. I heard about Sand People Enclave, and I heard Revan, during his journey, slaughtered every living entity there. (Griff turns out just to be a random Twi'lek, the dialog tree doesn't open) That's an interesting story. I'll try waking this drunk Twi'lek up and asking him about it when he sobers. Also, Mission's death, with JC2's mods, is not determined by alignment, but by choice. Maybe if Revan was set to dark side, you could ask Griff about the fate of his sister and express a hopeless and realistic opinion that she's probably dead, that if she didn't return, she probably got lost, as Revan wouldn't have blood of a child on his hands or say that you hope she's still alive. First option could make Mission not appear at all, second one could lead to Mission's appearance and a short story how she has been left on the Unknown World and ultimately escaped and the third should follow the light-sided scheme, maybe with Mission speaking that she owes Darth Revan her life and that she left the Sith Empire after the Sith Civil War and Revan's disappearance. That function should be optional during the installation, as some people just don't use JC2's mods and this would be against their K1 canon.

    Malak armor

http://dpmods.wheb.org/tsl_malak_arm.html Due to the way the models work in game, you cannot replace Malak's armor model without replacing every Jal Shey/Zeison Sha model.
  23. KotOR 1 is in 3956 BBY. KotOR 2 is in 3951 BBY. But jetpacks could be in their early stage of development, considering the fact that it's, in fact, quite quickly losing height and easy to destroy in Episode II. I actually like KotOR Mandalorians. Different design shows that the culture evolves, which is hard to see in other parts of Old Republic era. Like Malkior already mentioned, Death Watch armor doesn't really match with KotOR theme. And in larger groups they actually look like intimidating warriors.
  24. Well, from the screenshot I can see that Shanilia mentions Hypnarr and Forrah when speaking about Grey Jedi. Just a little suggestion: could you hange Forrah to Ferroh? Ferroh was one of Revan's apprentices in KotOR comics and it would be interesting to hear his name at least once in the game. This would reduce the feeling that he was created only for comics and gives us some information about his backstory.
  25. I guess he knows it. He means to recreate this effect to K1 (and for TSL, please, I'm really keen on the idea) and replace this ugly green poisoning effect field with it, at least I understood it like that.
