  1. Not always. I didn't check Shanilia yet but I always take a look at the files from the mod before I install it and I found Shanilia's lines in Basic surprisingly tying into the tone of vanilla female Twi'leks Ryl. Except from two lines when she's laughing. She sounds like a drunk five-year old child, the voice in these two lines really sounds like a kid. But that's maybe because, from what I remember from the ReadMe, she's drunk when these lines are used, so sounding like being drunk is actually desired. From other examples, I also remember Kaah Ohtok - Zhaboka. These were very professionally recorded lines matching the quality of vanilla voice-overs. Zhaboka is actually always doing well, his appearance of Kazius in Newbiemodder's Korriban Expansion was impressive. Before I checked that Zhaboka is the voice actor, I thought "What? Most of the spliced lines sound like crap, how they have done this well with Mandalorians, they've got also a filter". It was really indistinguishable from vanilla. If I'll ever need Mandalorian voiceovers lines, Zhaboka would be the first person I ask. I actually completely cannot agree with the opinion that fan is worse than none. There are plenty of good voice actors in KotOR community and the only project when some VOs sounded bad was M4-78, because of amount of voice actors required (actually, some actors could voice multiple characters - in Korriban Expansion I'd never connect Kazius and Darth Loqi, I'd also have problems with Dustil and Kaah, not mentioning connecting Darth Loqi to Dustil - Zhaboka could do really many voices from which every one turns pitnej to be different from another, and droid filters help a bit). And no voice overs completely breaks immersion when you have sound turned on. Coruscant mod required only six voice lines, from which two were for Kreia and could be easily spliced and four could be recorded by one voice actor, because three of them were said by a Republic trooper, and another one was said by a person who wore a mask. There weren't these lines and, in addition to choosing the most obvious modules for reskinning, gave me a feeling that the mod was made without care about quality and caused me to uninstall it. If you cannot do VO, use only alien characters/voices, like InSidious did in his Tomb of Azgath N'dul mod, but do not leave anyone without voiceovers. Actually, it's a computer in this case, so beeps and boops could work, but of course human VO gives more fun.
  2. No. T3-H8 vs 3C-FD. Because, in addition to looking completely the same, they both got destroyed for no reason apart from proving that T3-M4 is the only fully operational droid in the galaxy.
  3. Well, TSL soundtracks were very repetitive. Most of them are the same tracks with different names. Are you sure you played K1 with sound on? K1 also had themes for places you spent few time on, and I'm pretty sure they were really their own distinctive themes. Don't tell me you don't remember Dantooine themes from K1. This was one of the best matched soundtrack sets in my whole gaming experience.
  4. Strange. Mine has got different pictures on the back cover. Similar, but different. For example, the Exile on the top image has got Jolee's Robe instead of Matukai/Nomi's/Arca's one. It has also got ESRB rating on the right bottom corner, not the left one.
  5. This question is maybe a bit off-topic, but where did these long robes come from?
  6. I had this issue when I used Graphical Modification 5.00 from playground.ru. This is because it replaces Sith Masters' and Darth Bandon's armor's textures and models. It appears during BoS:SR, because Akirakon Sin's clothing uses the model included in default game with a custom texture, it also appears in the mod by SelfInducedComa because it overwrites textures only. If you still have issues with Darth Bandon, this means you didn't remove Darth Bandon's armor model.
  7. Will TSLPatcher have options which of these ones do we want to install? I'm interested only in replacing Ancorhead from three of the modules that use its music, so Ebon Hawk/Sandral Estate is completely unnecessary to me. Also, will every module with swapped soundtrack get its own filename, or only these where vanilla stays but they get individual filenames? For example, I'm not satisfied with changing the Sand People Enclave. Will it use Dune Sea music from the same file that the Dune Sea uses, or will it get another filename, so I can replace the Dune Sea track in the Sand People Enclave in favor of something more appealing to me?
  8. Cyan was always the same as Mantle, changing this would make Mantle of the Force color unavailable for TSL.
  9. After watching a video, may I suggest changing one thing in Peragus conversation? When there's this "... no family, no husband", for male players it sounds too obviously homosexual, when in rest of the conversations, Atton sounds like he tries to hide his bisexualism, just like he tries to hide his interest in female exiles. May I recommend changing it to "...no family, no wife"? This will fit more into rest of conversations.
  10. Carth's and Bastila's files are called the same in K1 and TSL.
  11. In appearance.2da, I think there is a column called texjevil.
  12. Darth Revan's Mask is also in BoS:SR. You could also make some game transitions skins for every skin variant to be used when your character is evil or make one version that doesn't show skin to use on every evil female.
  13. Wait... you mean every head model in both games?
  14. Harbringer cutscenes don't make very much sense as a video with overlay. From what I remember, Carth was never present on the Harbringer and he contacted with the Harbringer via holo. EDIT: Checked, these are called Briefing Logs. As a foreigner, I'm not sure how to interprete it, but it I'm more keen on the vanilla way. There is also the aesthetic part, so a video could be helpful. For Peragus, changing from usual holo to camera log could work well in most opportunities, for example Coorta argument scene. This sounded pretty much like something which wasn't intentionally recorded, so as a camera log like one one of these we see in rest of the game. Not sure about the maintenance officer speaking about the voiceprints. Puzzles? I didn't know they existed on Peragus, I always destroyed terminals. This could be fun! It will also make the second game harder and more interesting, as I always missed the obligatory brain task K1 has when I played TSL. I remember that I needed to use an internet guide to pass through light side kolto puzzle when I played K1 for the first time in my native language. Actually, if I don't use a guide, I spend two hours at doing this puzzle. Spending so much time on TSL in a language that is not my native has to be fun!
  15. The Crystal Cave could go well with "Glory, The Republic", "Justice, the Jedi Knight" or "Peace, the Jedi Consular" from SWTOR. Glory, the Republic Justice, the Jedi Knight Peace, the Jedi Consular
  16. Deesra speaks Twi'leki. Belaya speaks about her love for Juhani for long enough to splice her reactions for these scenarios, I think, and she could preach to Bastila in the way she confronts the player .
  17. TSLRCM is too big to remember everything. But yes, I agree that Bao's shield breaker animation for breaking a force field should be included in TSLRCM. Kreia's tired state is a good idea for a little mod, and one for changes to dialogues included in this patch if it's really as awesome as Drew claims. Now we have a clearer image of how should this all look like.
  18. Bastila suggests you to leave Juhani on Dantooine, this could lead to an argue, when her and Juhani start fighting with weapons. In defense of Bastila you could kill Juhani or it would be Bastila who accidentally slays her. Belaya the Cryptolesbian comes with tears in the eyes. Sounds good. Maybe also add another DS option: "Bastila, you're right. Dark Jedi are dangerous. But keeping one alive could result in danger for the Jedi Enclave. I must execute her". This will make Juhani (and Belaya) really sad. For the two middle options that sound unconvincing, there could be: Bastila, leaving Juhani on Dantooine could prove dangerous for fauna of the Grove. We must take her away from here. I already trust her more than I trust you, Princess. That's because your endless delations could quickly sabotage our mission. And yeah, having Belaya on your side could be a wonderful idea. Also, having the conversation on Dantooine would bring other nice opportunities, like Belaya running to Bastila with a lightsaber, Deesra shouting something like "What happened?", one of the party members could say "Just a little argument". You could also make Deesra matter more than just standing and speaking boring things. You could give an option to explain everything, call an argument an accident and make him not go to the Council to preserve the honor of the dead or saying that Juhani came to the Enclave to kill you if you decided to execute her himself, call it self-defense. He could then go to the Council and tell them the fate of Juhani and they will just sum it up that it is sad that she couldn't be saved. Belaya could show her hatred to you before or after that.
  19. After thinking, the last could trigger Bastila speaking that it's good, cause we cannot afford a dark Jedi and woving to execute her and Juhani speaking about wishing to learn from you and her loyalty and gratitude. Then it could happen something like: You're right Bastila. A dark Jedi onboard the Ebon Hawk is a true danger for our mission. We must execute her. (Kill Juhani, DS) I cannot let an useful being die. She may prove herself worthy of keeping. (Keep Juhani, Neutral) You're a hipocryte, Bastila. I remember you preaching about mercy. (Keep Juhani, Neutral) I'm a Jedi, Bastila. And a true Jedi never executes a person in need, no matter of their past crimes. (Keep Juhani, LS)
  20. (Persuade/Lie) She needs redemption - and the Council doesn't have the strength to. They cannot bring her back to the light - but I can, and I have to. (possibly Persuade) To defeat Malak, we need help from everyone who can provide it, no matter whether it's a Jedi, a Mandalorian or a Sith. That's why i brought her here, and you must accept that. (Lie) You're right, Bastila. I will make her leave us as soon as we will have no more use of her. I trust her more than I do trust you, Princess. (Add Canderous to the cutscene and make him show his approval ) It's none of your business - I bring who I want to. You're right, Bastila. (kill Juhani) This could happen on Dantooine Enclave landing pad when you leave Dantooine.
  21. "Tobin, Nihilus cutscene is now available." - included in TSLRCM. "Ratrin Vhek on Ebon Hawk." - from what I remember, in vanilla game, Ratrin Vhek didn't appear onboard the Ebon Hawk during the Red Eclipse battle. This is already included in TSLRCM. "Opo Chano on Nar Shaddaa" - included in TSLRCM, if I recall correctly. "B4-D4, T1-N1 on Nar Shaddaa" - included in TSLRCM. "G0-T0 will not be able to Enter Vogga's chambers" - makes sense, maybe should be included in TSLRCM. The rest of the aforementioned changes from Lucy's list are pretty optional and don't add much to the game (like Kath Hounds, Caged Beasts and Pazaak players), other maybe could go with discussed Animation and Immersion Modification or I already mentioned them in my little mods suggestions.
