  1. No! No! We go either the scientific midichlorians way or the sentient Force way! Never ever mix it up! Who was creative enough to do so, deserves to die on cross!
  2. As long as there's a possibility to host it, it won't be down, I guess. We could use some more popularity and a wider circle of games we host mods for, like more Jedi Knight and Battlefronts.
  3. So, if Revan lived słone or romanced with Juhani, Kreia won't speak anything about his love interests? I don't know if Extended Enlcave really needs a compatibility patch, but PartySwap probably does, as Kreia won't mention both Handmaiden and the Disciple, just the companion usual for player's gender then, I guess. Not game-breaking, but a bit immersion-breaking.
  4. Those all teories suck. The only truth in the galaxy is that Kreia is a Yuuzhan Vong. Evidence: Kreia hates technology, just as Yuuzhan Vong do. Kreia is extremely ugly, just as Yuuzhan Vong are. Kreia could be possibly absent in the Force, so no one could feel her unless she decided to reveal herself, as the Exile thought that Kreia is dead, even though she whispered to the Exile through the Force during her bath in the kolor tank. Darth Sion was quite surprised when he found her on the Harbringer and for the second time on Malachor, and three Jedi Masters found out that Kreia is alive and in another room when she decided to go out of this another room and reveal herself. Kreia could possibly worldshaped Malachor V and that's the reason of its unusual enviroment. We have no evidence that it was Mass Shadow Generator that destroyed the surface of the planet. In fact, it destroyed Malachor V when used for a second time, so possibly Bao-Dur was actually an awful mechanic and what he created only destroyed the fleet, and as a result of Vongforming it started working as intended, thus destroying the planet. She could also be Snoke, with evidence that they both undeniably exist.
  5. If we choose Juhani as female Revan's love interest, will Kreia mention her? And is this mod compatible with PartySwap, as they both edit 904kreia.dlg?
  6. Is that a camera angle which deforms the helmet, or is it so flat because of it being "pre-Alpha"?
  7. And, it's more round. Doesn't have a rebel spike on the end and ends near the neck. Also, the visor should end with a narrow part on the proper helmet. And those big round joints should be actually much smaller and look like a rectangle with half of a circle.
  8. Well, we're actually discussing "light infantry" troopers, though some heavier ones would be nice to appear. Yet it's still in an idea stage.
  9. Well, Rebel helmets are still there. And Commando armor on everyone decreases the feeling of the real commando's awesomeness.
  10. TFA was ripped because A New Hope shaped a generation and we already saw that The Phantom Menace wasn't a generation shaper and it was a completely new script. The Force Awakens was intended to fascinate a new generation with Star Wars, so they've gone the safe way, disappointing the true fans. Rogue One was a movie for true fans. Considering the fact that The Force Awakens wasn't really long ago, The Last Jedi is a film for those already attracted, it's quite unlikely that they'll go the safe way again, because they'll disappoint both new and old fans. But the title disappointed me anyway.
  11. Well, it sounds like you have a bit of hard work to change a kyber crystal's color from the color it took with its previous owner, so it hasn't to be game mechanics. Your crystals are just second-hand and you don't know how to change their color (it actually seemed accidential in Ahsoka). Actually, seems fitting. In Jedi classes storylines, you build a lightsaber on your own, but you get a crystal from someone else. As a Sith you get a whole second-hand lightsaber.
  12. Weren't helmeted soundsets present in BoS:SR? We couldn't steal them and since LucasForums is dead, there's little hope for contacting Silveredge, but if we went through path of Republic Commandos from BoS:SR, which would improve the feeling of connection between vanilla and this mod, we should ask him anyway. Sounds like consistency between vanilla and BoS:SR would make heavily armored troopers stay on the "Nice to Do" list for a longer time.
  13. Really? What a lack of creativity, Johnson! This title is not boring not because it's simple. "The Sith Lords" is not boring. It perfectly matches the theme. "The Last Jedi" is boring because it was already used multiple times.
  14. Still not really convincing, in Legends in fact he spent 308.
  15. Probably if KotORs are going to become canon, SWTOR would too. Yet, SWTOR doesn't directly say how much years Revan spent in that fancy cage, so there's a place for a better ending for Surik than just stabbed, though I believe she's be going to die for Revan again, yet in a far more dramatic way.
  16. No. It'd be porting. Those models are present only in TSL.
  17. Well, that's a good idea, and for BoS:SR users, it would improve the "canon feeling". Yet I don't know how much work would take to replace some of the regular troopers with commandos.
  18. I agree on SWTOR troopers. However, I don't know if KotOR makers did the same thing with UTCs as TSL, but if they did and one type of troopers is in one UTC placed by GIT multiple times, placing more variety in troopers would require GIT edits in many modules or scripting, both reducing compatibility. Also, making a new, fitting design would be really hard, while Timeline 9 gives us an epic one to copy.
  19. Apart from modelling, it would also require some scripting to replace some of Republic soldiers with clone troopers, officially called Republic troopers from SWTOR. I wouldn't go this path also because of lore - if we got Endar Spire ruins in Taris depths, we would have known that a new SWTOR design is three hundred years old and while Timelines have got some intentional mistakes to show that's just a work of a man (Kel'Dor actually), Republic armor design wasn't so confidential it could have been mistaken. However, for me SWTOR troopers in KotOR would be lore-breaking, but each to their own.
  20. Revan and Malak exiting the ship are my favorites for K1, yet I struggle whether to choose Atris vs. Sion or Mandalorians for K1. Good job, VarsityPuppet. You made an awesome mod and you made me ask you for opinion.
  21. Well, I would really enjoy something as close as possible to the embedded image. Those armors looked so awesome that I fell in love with them. I'm not sure whether it's possible to do the eyewear half-transparent, but it doesn't have to if it's hard, I'm not even sure if it'd look well. Slight transparency would be highly appreciated, but not as much as in typical orange-dyed glasses, only a subtle suggestion that there's someone under the eye cover. We cannot see those troopers' eyes and it looks badass. Well, due to the fact that the helmet of the Republic trooper is connected to his face's model, I'd really appreciate a younger face as a base. Republic army isn't built solely by veterans in their forties, in fact, I'd expect that most of the Revan followed Revan after the war in fact. You know, there must be some fresh faces in the army :-) Thanks for your interest in the project! I'm really grateful you're willing to give it a try.
  22. It's usual for Star Wars to make the leading faction's army look dumb. Before debut of the clones in Episode II and their development in Episode III, armies of Star Wars were always objects of jokes when their pyjama-like armors were brutally ripped by, depending on the government, heroes or villains, making audience die from boredom unless a Jedi knight appears on screen. The same is in case of the Old Republic in Knights of the Old Republic. While their level of combat skills is enough high to satisfy me, KotORs brings us a moral that an army of the greatest galactic government of its times, which under command of Revan won the Mandalorian Wars went so silly in four latest years that they started going on the battlefield in pyjamas and rebel helmets whereas a part of this army which decided to obey Revan after the war got armors that are maybe a bit too shiny, but with mods look really cool. What I'd like to see is a fix to this dishonor for the Republic suggested by Timeline 9 inserted into both KotORs.
