  1. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that I could do that for example and I certainly like the idea of making this mod
  2. Haha xD But yeah, I wanted to say that the model could change once you have your first lightsaber so that it makes sense to have those parts and hilts lying around there^^
  3. Maybe the Lightsaber workbench could always be there but be inaccessible before acquiring the first lightsaber but be empty. And when you finally have your first lightsaber, it could be replaced with a working workbench that also has those hilts displayed and parts laying around or whatever.
  4. That looks great I was thinking however, that it should also be possible to Edit vanillas workbenches to start a Computer dialog instead of The original Gui, where You could then choose these options plus any other option added by mods (like combining hilts and color Crystals). That's all assuming that these interactions are controlled by scripts that can be edited. But with This new Model, I wouldn't mind making a dedicated lightsaber workbench either This could lead to a cool lightsaber overhaul, I think...
  5. Yeah, using that backup would return the 2da file to the state it was in before you installed the G0-T0 Overhaul and thus would remove all changes made by later mods. You could try and use the backup and then install all other mods that modify the same 2da file(s) again afterwards. That could work but might also result in other issues. Or you could revert the changes done by G0-T0 Overhaul manually if you know how to edit 2da files.
  6. That is pretty much what I originally intended. I want to add a unique hilt only for the player to the game and so I wanted to add an entry to the workbench where you can change the color of this saber by using an ordinary color crystal. Using T3 for that is probably a good idea. Thanks for that tip I was thinking if it were possible to disconnect the hilt model from the color crystal in a similar way for all lightsabers in the game, so that you'd find hilts and crystals seperately and only when combined (preferably at the workbench) you'd be able to use them for a lightsaber. I'm quite certain that it'd be doable, but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort^^ Ideally, we would have one column for every hilt, but that won't happen I fear
  7. I finally got around to test the new column and I was able to add one with no problems. Neither did KotorTool delete them, but sadly they did not work for upcrystals.2da. While lightsabers referenced in the new column did work, they were not upgradeable and even worse, they'd disappear from the inventory when chosen in the workbench. Looks like I won't be able to go this route for my mod And with K1s workbench interface I won't be able to take my other route either... (that one involved adding a new option to the workbench, but I don't think that'll work in K1.) Back to searching a solution then
  8. No, you shouldn't look at this, since this "mod" consists mostly of stolen work from other people as is openly admitted in the description (AFAIK, I can't actually read it^^). My general advice for using large mods together is to think about the installation order before actually installing them. And always check the installlog created by TSLPatcher to see if there were any errors and if there were, try to make the necessary fixes yourself or see if there is a compability patch somewhere. I got both K1 and TSL working flawlessly like that with about 90 mods and in TSL that included several big mods like TSLRCM, M4-78, NPC Overhaul, Coruscant and SLM.
  9. Most likely nothing to worry about. I assume that those files would only need to be copied if they don't already exist. If they do, then those already existing will be modified and everything should be fine.
  10. Just bought the tickets for Star Wars Celebration this year. Can't wait to go there :D

  11. Late answer, but I was able to fix all minimizing issues with cutscenes by right-clicking swkotor.exe, going to the compability settings and checking: "Deactivate Visual Designs", "Deactivate Desktop...whatever" and "Deactivate Scaling..." (I translated those from my German Windows, so they'll probably be called something else.) And AFAIK, the new Steam version contains the HQ Movie Patch available for years (as did the Steam version before Aspyrs patch), but the movies won't be in FullHD.
  12. That question is easy to answer: It won't Anyway, there's also The Knights of The Old Republic comic series set shortly before Kotor1. And then there Are some Comics and novels connected to The Old Republic. If You Want to go closer to The movies, but still Want to remain in The old republic, The Darrh Bane trilogy would also be a good thing to read.
  13. You Can also use WinRar if You Want.
  14. It's nothing big but here's a small add-on mod I made for Coruscant: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/778-tsl-galaxy-map-fix-coruscant-addon-new-coruscant-icon-and-planet-textures/ It consists of two parts: The first one is an AddOn for bead-v's TSL Galaxy Map Fix that moves Coruscant to it's correct position. The second part is an AddOn to hk-42s Jedi Temple Expansion in that it adds a new icon for Coruscant and a new texture for the 3d planet model. This one also comes with a new cubemap used to make the lights on Coruscants night side shine.

View File TSL Galaxy Map Fix Coruscant AddOn & New Coruscant Icon and Planet Textures This download actually includes two mods, the TSL Galaxy Map Fix Coruscant AddOn and the Coruscant New Icon and Planet Texture mod, both done by me. The first is a small add-on mod for bead-v's TSL Galaxy Map Fix that moves the planet Coruscant added by deathdisco's Jedi Temple mod to its canonic location on the galaxy map. The second one is a new icon and a new texture for the 3d preview of the planet seen on the galaxy map. When installing this mod you will be able to choose which one you want to install (see Installation section). Requirements: In order for this mod to work, you need to have deathdisco's Coruscant Jedi Temple installed, that can be found here: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/585-coruscant-jedi-temple-by-deathdisco/ You'll also need HK-42s Jedi Temple Expansion mod for the New Icon and Planet Texture mod to work. You can find it here: http://www.nexusmods.com/kotor2/mods/210/? If you have M4-78 EP installed as well, you'll also need to install the compability patch before installing this mod: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/394-coruscant-jedi-temple-compatibility/ And last but not least, you'll want to install bead-v's TSL Galaxy Map Fix, or installing the Coruscant AddOn would be pretty pointless: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/28-tsl-galaxy-map-fix/ Installation: Install all of the required mods before proceeding! Then run TSLPatcher.exe and choose the option you want. It should then find your KotOR 2 TSL installation automatically and install the mod. If it doesn't and you have to select it manually, choose the folder that includes swkotor2.exe. Do NOT delete the backup folder that is created during the installation, you'll need it if you ever want to uninstall this mod. Uninstallation: Replace galaxymap_p.gui, gal_cor_2.tga and Gui_coruscnt.tga in your override with those versions found in the backup folder created during the installation of this mod. Then delete Gui_coruscnt.txi, CM_coruscant.tga and CM_coruscant.txi from your override folder. If some of those files don't exist in your override or backup folder, that's because you didn't install the mod that would've added them, so don't worry about those. 17. Might be Aspyrs new patch, as it works for The legacypc Version on Steam for me
  18. I doubt that issues that big are caused by Aspyr's patch but if you want to try, you can revert back to The older unpatched version on Steam. Right click the game in your library, go to the beta tab and choose The legacypc Version. That's the same version as the one you get from GOG or from retail.
  19. Well, first of all good luck with your rework! I did not encounter any issues with the prievous version, but making a mod better is always good. And not having to equip an armband is also a great improvement But, please don't do that. It'd require your mod to installed as the first mod after TSLRCM and if there are other mods doing the same it could lead to compability issues that would easily avoided by changing the files.
  20. I'm wondering if it's possible to add new columns to 2da files. Or to be more specific, is it possible to add a new lightsaber type by adding a column to upcrystals.2da? And if it is, what would be the tool to use for those edits? (I'm asking since KT can't add columns.)
  21. TSLRCM workshop folder. All mods should be installed there when using the workshop version.
  22. File Name: Juhani Romance Enhancement File Submitter: Kexikus File Submitted: 03 Jan 2016 File Category: Mods K1R Compatible: Yes As you might know or not, there is a romance with Juhani available for female characters in K1. The problem with that is, that it has no real closure and what little it has, is easily skipped in the heat of the final part of the game. This mod aims to fix that by doing two things: First of all, the final conversation is now triggered automatically if available in order not to get lost. Secondly, it now includes a kiss, similar to the one in the Bastila Romance Enhancement (actually, I used the same animations). Here's a video of what this cutscene looks like: Installation: Simply let TSL Patcher do its magic. It should find your KotOR installation automatically. If it doesn't and you have to select it manually, choose the folder that includes swkotor.exe. Do NOT delete the backup folder that is created during the installation, you'll need it if you ever want to uninstall this mod. For modders: I included the source scripts in the download in case you're interested. Ignore them if you only want to install and play the mod. Uninstallation: Delete jre_dialog.dlg, jre_intro.ncs, jre_kiss.ncs, jre_trigger.ncs and jre_trigger.utt from your Override folder. Then find the backup of unk_m44ac.mod created during the installation of this mod (it is located in the backup folder that was created in the folder where you ran TSLPatcher.exe) and copy it into the Modules folder of your KotOR installation, replacing the one already there. Note however, that this might screw up other mods that modified the same file and were installed afterwards! Compabilitiy: Thanks to TSLPatcher this mod is compatible pretty much everything. (The only incompability I can think of would be another mods that adds cameras with the same IDs but that's pretty unlikely.) 23. Glad to hear that you're so interested in this mod Here's a small status update of what's going on and why it'll take a while until it's going to be done: I've been away from modding for about two months up until end of December when I started modding again. The first thing I did was to finish up my Juhani Romance Enhancement mod that originated as part of this mod. I uploaded it a few days ago but it still has to be approved. Now I could continue with Dark Side Juhani but I have an exam coming up in three weeks and then two more as well as a project by the end of february. Until then I don't want to work on something that big and also, I'm currently more motivated for some smaller mods I've wanted to do for quite some time. With these two reasons, I'll only work on smaller things for about the next two months and afterwards I'll most likely return to Dark Side Juhani. But I'll still add a call for help here: I need two voice actresses, one for Juhani (who has to sound like her obviously) and one for Belaya but in her case I wouldn't mind rerecording all of her lines so anyone could probably do that part. Note that these recordings are still far off but if anyone is interested, feel free to contact me
  24. With that method you'd run into problems as soon as one of the other mods modifies a TSLRCM file. Even if installed with TSLPatcher to the empty workshop mod location, it would copy an unmodified version of the file to the Override and modify this one and when loaded that file would overwrite TSLRCMs changes. You could probably install TSLRCM to that empty mod folder too and it should work as a possibility to switch between installations.
