  1. I know, but the placed don't feel like a factory either. If I may exaggerate here: They are just random rooms placed next to each other with no purpose other than putting random characters in them. It's not that bad of course but to me it doesn't feel like a real place. In the factory for example you could have melting, assembly, testing, control rooms etc placed in a way that would make sense in real life. (I know that part of this exists and those rooms are very well done.) That would be a lot of work so I definitely don't expect that to happen, but you asked what we'd like to see changed
  2. More likely: Change the journal entries to reflect where certain droids are located instead of just giving their names, since it's really hard to remember all those droid names^^ Super unlikely: Add placeables or something to make the levels feel more like an actual place that people lived in and that have a purpose.
  3. I can confirm that this is the case. The game will only use the .txi of the first texture (e.g. PMBC01) and apply it no matter which .tga it actually uses (PMBC02, PMBC03, etc.).
  4. Thanks for all the kind words. I'm glad you like the mod
  5. Not really I did get some dialog done, but then I ended up focusing on the TSL Backdrops to get those out of the way. But now that they are, I intend to focus on getting this done. Thanks for your interest
  6. A probably minor thing: Script parameters in TSL
  7. 1) EBO_neb.tga 2) Doesn't matter since my mod does not replace the Peragus backdrop texture. So you can install them in any order you want. No, that's bead-v's TSL Galaxy Map Fix (I was too lazy to remove it for the screenshots^^)
  8. Even if it wasn't, the T3 texture in both Kotor games is the same. So you can just use it for K1. @Quanon: Bastila looks awesome in the video. Great job!
  9. View File TSL Backdrop Improvements This mod aims to improve the space scenes in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. This is done both to improve the visual quality as well as the continuity between cutscenes and playable areas. The changes made to achieve this are thus also twofold: First there are new high resolution textures provided for almost all space backdrops and then there are model changes to create more extensive edits. For a full list of what has been changed, see below (contains spoilers). Additionally there is an optional part of the mod that brings the galaxy map appearance of some planets in line with the new backdrops. See below for installation instructions. There are some mods by other authors that already do an amazing job at improving certain backdrops, so I did not see the need to imitate their work. Instead, I highly recommend you install those mods as well. I will list them below. COMPABILITY This mod is not compatible with other mods that edit the same textures or models. Notable exceptions are TSLRCM and M4-78 EP: - This mod overrides 222TEL15.mdl and 222TEL15.mdx provided by TSLRCM. This will replace some VISUAL ONLY! changes by TSLRCM with my version. Check the screenshots to see which one you prefer. - Also, this mod will override 003EBOq.mdl and 003EBOq.mdx from M4-78EP. In this case my mod includes the changes done by M4-78 EP, so you can safely override those files (make a backup though). INSTALLATION If you have TSLRCM and/or M4-78 EP installed, go to your Override folder and make backups of 222TEL15.mdl, 222TEL15.mdx, 003EBOq.mdl and 003EBOq.mdx just in case. Then copy all files from the "To Override" folder into your Override folder. If you want to install the galaxy map changes as well, also copy the files from the "Optional Galaxy Map Changes" folder to your Override folder. And finally I highly recommend you install the other backdrop improvement mods listed below. UNINSTALLATION Delete this mod's files from your Override folder and restore the backups of 222TEL15.mdl, 222TEL15.mdx, 003EBOq.mdl and 003EBOq.mdx (if you have TSLRCM and/or M4-78 EP installed). RECOMMENDED MODS - Improved Peragus Asteroid Fields by Vasilii Zaytsev - Replacement Peragus II Artwork by Trench - Telos Citadel Station Skybox by Quanon - Alternatively you can use the TEL_Bdrp.tga and TEL_Bdrp.txi from TSL Remastered by sELFiNDUCEDcOMA KNOWN BUGS - The asteroids during the Peragus escape sequence appear out of nowhere. This is either due to my limited knowledge or due to limitations in our tools but I haven't been able to fix it yet. Should that bother you, remove 003EBOs.mdl and 003EBOs.mdx from your Override folder. Note however that you will also loose the Dxun backdrop for the Arrival at Dxun scene. 11. I have to admit, I don't understand your question :/ Could you rephrase it for me?
  12. I've almost finished another mod right now. After that I want to get the last big chunk of work for Dark Side Juhani done and then I'll go back to making skyboxes. Don't worry, I know you want them
  13. Made a tiny fix on one alpha channel of both my HQ Stars and Nebulas mods

    1. Sith Holocron

      Sith Holocron

      What did it fix?

    2. Revanator

      Revanator

      Is it worth a re-download?

    3. Kexikus

      Kexikus

There was a visible cut-off in the standard nebula texture instead of a smooth blending. I had never noticed that before, so I don't know if it's really worth to download^^

  14. Ah okay, so you loose the vanilla information when decompiling the binary model with MDLOps since KAurora doesn't support that direction? But using KAurora to recompile models with lightmaps etc. would work?
  15. Or he could use KAurora to compile them. Then he'd only loose animations, right? And there aren't that many area models with animations. But making a new model and editing the .lyt and .vis would of course work too.
  16. Same for me. I tried yesterday after seeing these amazing discoveries but all I was able to get were the choice between light and dark followed by either Kreias or Sions voice line. But none of the tabs worked. The only thing I found is this website from before TSL was released but it's not exactly interesting
  17. No, that's not possible. But I'm working on a mod to make it possible It will take a while for this mod to be released though.
  18. You can add new planes. But you need to add an AuroraTrimesh modifier and set it's Self-Illumination color to white. Alternatively you could make a new lightmap but that seems to be overkill for some damage decals.
  19. You need to create a .mod file for both of those modules (or at least the one where you want to edit the dlg) and put your edited dlg file into the .mod instead of the override folder. And this can indeed be done with TSLPatcher. The process of setting up the installation is described in the read-me, but here's a brief description of how the installation will work: 1. Check if a .mod file for this module already exists 2. If not, copy an unedited .mod into the module folder, otherwise go directly to step 3 3. Put the edited .dlg into the .mod
  20. I have to agree with the last posts: On that latest screenshots her face looks too flat again. Also, why are her hands made from silver? xD
  21. He already posted it but then took it down since Schizo posted pretty much the same file for TSL. So yes, you are blind
  22. I would suggest to simply use Kotor Tools .utc editor. It has a very nice GUI for editing the inventory including all equipment slots as well as the "backpack inventory" (additional items). The only problem is that all items are set to Dropable when saving but this shouldn't be a problem for party members and if it is you can always use K-GFF to fix it.
  23. My first contact with KotOR was back in 2005 or so, before I had even seen the Star Wars movies or even become such a huge Star Wars fan. Back then a friend of mine got TSL and so we would meet at his place and play the game together. One of us would control the keyboard while the other one had the mouse. I've no idea how we managed to play like that but it was awesome I liked the game so much that I bought it for myself, but I didn't finish it until maybe 2010 or even 2012... And I always thought that Peragus is super creepy. (Actually, I still think it is).
  24. Also, there's a really good instructions pdf coming with The TSL Patcher download. I suggest to use This and when any problems arise, ask in The forums.
  25. I'd like to learn about scripted cutscenes, meaning scripted fights etc.
