Thinking of removing TSLRCM from the Workshop

I see Haveyap talks about a ban? Why did they ban you? Just curious. -
Thinking of removing TSLRCM from the Workshop
VarsityPuppet replied to Hassat Hunter's topic in TSLRCM
I am split on this. Pro: Steam workshop is nonsense and has introduced a load of compatibility issues Pro: Forces users to install the mod the way it was intended to be installed, therefore minimizing compatibility issues Pro: Acts as a gateway mod to other content hosted here Con: Less convenient for users Con: Decreases TSLRCM visibility overall (some people have never heard of and will never hear of DeadlyStream) Con: People will upload TSLRCM to the workshop anyways, and then we need to deal with that horse stuff Also, Hassat, please link to the Steam discussions where all this is happening. I would like to hear more about your gripes with Steam/Valve as well. -
I also needed to get that T-shirt, but now I have steam versions of KOTOR 1 and 2 now... which like, I don't have the Steam versions, but now I have 10 or 11 versions of the KOTOR games... Kotor 1: - Xbox Platinum Hits - 4 CD version - Best of PC version - Mac App Store Version - Steam - Android Kotor 2: - Xbox Original (I think I might even have 2 of these?) - Xbox Platinum Hits - 4 CD Version - Mac App Store Version - Steam

Hey, thought I'd post this here: https://www.humblebundle.com/star-wars?utm_source=Humble+Bundle+Newsletter&utm_campaign=f109b3a7f1-Star_Wars_Humble_Bundle_2&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_990b1b6399-f109b3a7f1-128312513&mc_cid=f109b3a7f1&mc_eid=36d695a022 So they're offering a Steam Bundle of games that you can get by donating to charity. There are a couple of other things you can get as well, up to and including this sweet Nihilus T-Shirt $34.99 to get this, but I think it would totally be worth it. Thoughts?

Agh, sorry I keep forgetting to look into this.

My Projects In the Pipeline (mostly texture related)
VarsityPuppet replied to Malkior's topic in Work In Progress
In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter, but the body size is at least consistent, though you could argue that Rodians should be smaller in general. I disagree that a vest automatically is less appropriate than a jacket. That doesn't make any sense to me. But I would use the hell out of this mod regardless. -
My Projects In the Pipeline (mostly texture related)

What Parametric said. Might be a bit tricky but the results would be amazing. Instead of the scoundrel body though, I would use the scout body, so it can be reused and consistent with the body sizes from TSL -
How to make a custom skin for an alien NPC

Some kinky stuff going on there -
Back into the swing of SWTOR! Me and my brother started playing over the weekend and I got him hooked! We're currently doing his story mission on Taris (Consular)
-
Begeren Colony, I think is where we're at.
TBH, I made him do Consular so that we can do our class stories together and not have to repeat missions.

According to datamining, they are apparently rolling out mega-servers in the next few months, so VP's server will be rolled into mine and the other West Coast servers. Jedi Covenant is East Coast though, so that will presumably remain separate, rolled together with the other East Coast servers.
Maybe when the merge happens VP we can arrange a meetup and I can show your brother the glories of the Dark Side.

Cool! I've been waiting for anything Rey related to pop up. Any plans to give a try at modeling her staff? I know it's a bit of a jump, but there are plenty of resources here.

KOTOR Youtube Videos
VarsityPuppet replied to VarsityPuppet's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
I included them for posterity. My hope is that we can increase the list overall. -
As many of you know, KOTOR has been having a resurgence in popularity due to its TSL's recent update on Steam. There have been an increase in Let's Plays, and our very own Xuul has even begun doing modding live streams. So if you see any youtube or twitch channels that are streaming, please link to them here, for now. At some point it would be cool to get a better way to track this stuff (some sort of "feed"), but for now, I think posting them here will be fine. Off the top of my head: Youtube: Xuul Grandmaster Arcturus Wongoli Wongo Shem TehPrincessJ Twitch: MsZee JusoMagna CourtoonGames Jaideng123 I'll fix formatting on this later ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Interview with Bioware devs
VarsityPuppet replied to Circa's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
That HK-55 looks like a prime candidate for a reskin mod... -
Well, I mean, the idea was that if you found a lightsaber "in the wild", as it were, you could reverse engineer it in-game and create the schematic for it. That would be the main difference between finding a lightsaber and getting the schematic from the work bench or even somewhere else.

So you're saying some can only be made by workbench and some would only be able to be found? I think that makes sense, and it is a good idea.

I am getting a windows machine soon and would like to get back into playing. I am hoping to drag my brothers in as well. It'd be cool to run around and quest.
-
Or, you know, work on a project that will actually get them $$$
-
It was literally the last scene from 7, so... nothing really new.
-
Part of the problem is that the install is a bit of a pain in the ass, and things aren't working properly. That's part of the reason for the delay in episode 2. Well, that's the main reason.
-
Probably not the best analogy to make right now.

This is a well-known issue. Planning on fixing it, but time has not been kind to me as of late.

Subroutine within a subroutine
VarsityPuppet replied to JCarter426's topic in General Kotor/TSL Modding
You keep the parens there, I believe. Remove them from the declaration of void JC_SUB_TRIGGER( void JC_SUB_HERE,etc...) -

Steam Version of Kotor II and Movement Animation

There's a 95% chance that is not fixed.
