Summary This mod fixes two problems with the VO in the game. T3-M4 was missing some VO files. This would cause his lines to be skipped when these files were referenced in the original game. The files missing were his short "question" variants. I was able to edit together new ones using his medium and long lines as a source. Some of the Gand entries were misplaced; they were typed on the unused Gotal line rather than the Gand line. In this case, the VO did exist, but it wasn't being referenced properly in the 2DA file. I've adjusted the file to correct that. I don't recall if this presented any problems in the released game, but the affected VO files were the "question" and "sad" variants. I didn't remove them from the Gotal line in case that was actually used for Gand VO in the game. Installation Extract files from the downloaded archive. Run VO_Fix_K1.exe. Click "Install Mod" and select your game directory (default name SWKOTOR2). Uninstallation Remove the installed files. Replace alienvo.2da with backup if necessary. Compatibility TSLRCM does address the T3 issue, but it does this by replacing T3's VO with generic utility droid VO, which I really, really didn't like. So if you're using TSLRCM, this mod will revert that change. "What is your ETA to Tython? The sooner we recover Voleran and the data, the better." "We should be there in the next couple of hours" the Admiral interjected. "We've been traveling all the way from Tatooine... for nearly a whole day" Flint added gruffly. "But we aren't far off. We will meet you at the orbital station by the time you are ready for lift off." the Admiral continued. "Use this time to get yourselves ready. We will see you shortly." The hologram projections disintegrated, as the communication ended. Flint turned to the Admiral. "What do you think about all this, Admiral?" "Your speculation is as good as mine... something definitely does not seem right." the Admiral crossed his arms in contemplation. "but we wont know until we recover either the data or Voleran." "Do you think he has gone rogue?" "I've fought along side with Voleran during the Battle of Coruscant... its hard to imagine he would do such a thing... but its not unheard of Jedi switching sides. Even the most powerful masters of the order. But we wont know for certain until we find him..." "If he has... I will be ready for him..." Flint said coldly. He has killed many Dark Jedi before. The Admiral sighed. "We can only hope it does not come to that..."

As I said above, that was an animation issue due to it not setting the alpha value of the mesh to its intended value. That's fixed now, at least in the DS cutscene:

More Subtle Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (still not including Galaxy Map) (version 1.2) =============================================================================== ORIGINAL RELEASE: 25 MAR 2017 UPDATED RELEASE: 31 MAR 2017 LATEST RELEASE: 03 NOV 2018 NOTE: The definitive version of this mod can be found here! This is the old version... GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2 Description: ============ When Xarwarz was working on a sample of a monitor texture for the Ebon Hawk, I had suggested to him that it could use a bit of animation to liven it up. The led to the original animated monitor mod called "KOTOR2 Animated Ebon Hawk Monitors (not including Galaxy Map)". The screen in this separate version are much closer to the original screens included with the game. They are still animated though. (See animated picture below.) I have updated the fourth screen with a new picture - using one of the screens usually seen on the bridge of the Harbinger but recolored to the Ebon Hawk monitor color scheme. (Besides the old version of that section was static before and something about that irked me.) Recently, Dark Hope has recently Animated Ebon Hawk's Screen HD, which adjusts many of the other panels seen in the cockpit and throughout the Ebon Hawk. With permission granted to me to adjust the credit, I decided to bring to the monitors in her textures in line with my other monitors. (Size reduced for screenshot purposes. Texture is sized at it's original 2048 x 2048.) Though I've placed this in the Knights of the Old Republic 2 section, this mod is compatible with both games. Installation: =========== Decide whether you want the monitors to have glass-like overlay or not and copy the TGA files and the TXI files from the appropriate folder. Place those files in the Override folder. Uninstall: =============== Take them out again. Known Bugs: =========== None known at this time. Credits: ======= LSaberDuelist and OldFlash (of LucasForums) for their instructive discussion and tutorial at LucasForums. (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=153502) Xarwarz: For putting together the original texture of the monitors surrounding the galaxy map! @Dark Hope: For her original cockpit texture, for releasing her version to Deadly Stream, allowing me to adjust it as I see fit, and to include it in this package. @ebmar: For adjusting Dark Hope's new texture by adding a little depth to it and adding the overlay over the monitors shown in the “With Glass Overlays” folder. Here's what it looks like in the actual game. Thanks to @Mellowtron11 for providing the game save so I could get this video done relatively quickly! BTW: Looking for something a little more vibrant? I recently showed off some screenshots of enhanced blaster pistols using Captain Hair's blaster pistol model over on Lucas Forums. The goal of this mod is to finish, in a sense, what Captain Hair started with the blasters and make all blaster pistols in both KotOR 1 and KotOR 2 of high quality. When reskinning for the blasters I attempted to match them as closely as possible to their default icons within the game. Anyway, without Captain Hair this mod wouldn't exist so a big thanks to him.

Description: This texture replaces all instances of the low resolution Czerka sign seen in the game. In addition, the desk seen in the Czerka office (and many other places throughout the game) has been cleaned up and even has an animated screen! Notes: A small update: I've made some minor updates to the green buttons on the desk texture. If you'd rather use the original ones instead, they are still available in the package. (See Installation instructions.) The loading screen has been removed from the package as it's now included in my "Replacement Loading Screens for KotOR2: Original Pack (with or without TSLRCM) - Part 1" mod. Why have multiple identical versions. right? Installation: If using TSL: Choose whether you wish to use the original or new versions of the textures. Grab all files from one of those folders and put them in your Override folder. If using KotOR1: Choose whether you wish to use the original or new versions of the textures. Grab all files from one of those folders and put them in your Override folder. Uninstall: Remove the textures from the Override folder. I assure you that the animation runs much smoother in the actual game. From Update 1.2 Before After Special Thanks: To JCarter426 for his wonderful Loadscreen Template for K2 (1.1) - which enabled me to include this loadscreen for you all. Even though I now have removed the loading screen from this mod package, he still deserves the credit.

In the vanilla version of Knights of the Old Republic many of the textures were of extremely low quality. Through the usage of pictures of actual material and some gems that were left behind in the game files I've taken some of the worst (and some of the most noticeable/prominent) and made them of much higher quality.

@N-DReW25 and @ebmar: It's been more than a year since I worked on this so take this next part with a grain of salt as I'm working with "old-man-memory" here. From what I recall, the same texture is present in both games as I believe I went through KOTOR Tool looking for it. However, I can't recall exactly where the texture is actually used. Your best bet is probably to check the areas where Czerka is located: the Tatooine Czerka Office, Kashyyyk Edean field office, and/or possibly on Korriban (possibly including the areas added by Brotherhood of Shadows: Solomon's Revenge? I would check this myself but I'm at work. If you'd like to look for them, I would start there. (Feel free to post some shots of the sign if you find one or more!) Update: The presence of Czerka Sign file in both games is confirmed by KOTOR Tool. Doesn't help you find it in KotOR1 but you at least you know I looked for it in the game files (again)!

It's known as the "legal screen". There are a bunch of existing mods you can look at to see what they did, like this one. I think the gist is a BIK is required for K1, but a TGA is fine for TSL.

"When was he last scene? Do we have any leads?" Satele looked up at the hologram projection and nodded. "We believe so. One of our agents on Nar Shaddaa believed she saw Voleran. Her last communication with us ended abruptly however." She turned to the left and grabbed a small handheld hologram projector and activated it so everyone could see what the council had seen. "This came in early this morning." She said simply as the figure of a woman wearing gang colors and clothes that didn't match at all. Her stance and the fierce intensity in her eyes seemed to scream "SIS". "This is Gandala Reskos with the SIS. I have an urgent message for Satele Shan on Tython, We may have found the target but he did...something. Target entered the domain of Kaburka the Hutt for unknown reasons. Shortly after he left, the entire area turned into a bloodbath. T-They turned on each other. Blasters, force-pikes, their bare hands. They slaughtered each other within minutes. Nobody is-" The distant sound of two lightsabers igniting in the background of the hologram seemed to catch Gandala's attention and the hologram's eyes widened in shock and she went for her blaster. "Calling all Agents, he's not-!" All that was heard after that was the sound of blaster fire and the sound of the twin unseen lightsabers deflecting blaster bolts. Finally the hologram cut out. Satele Shan turned off the projector and turned to look at the strike team. "We need to find him." She said quietly. "Your mission is to track down Voleran, determine if our agents on Nar Shaddaa are still alive and recover both the Data and Voleran. We Jedi are stretched to the breaking point. We've already lost many of our number in the Cold War and now that open war once again engulfs the galaxy, we need people with your skills more then ever. You've each been selected due to your past accomplishments and your skills which we believe will be useful in finding Voleran." "It means one of two things. Either he's dead, or he's turned traitor." Jaric Kaedan nodded. "We've considered that as well. But if he did turn traitor we can't figure out why. He's taught Jedi for many years, he fought against the Sith at the Battle of Coruscant and was a firm believer in the ideals and practices of the Republic. If he did turn traitor, we have no idea what his motivations were." Satele spoke up. "Whatever the case, this issue needs to be addressed as soon as possible. We have a shuttle waiting for you in the hanger which will take you to our orbital station. The ship should be able to seat all of you comfortably and is fully stocked." She turned to look at Flint. "What is your ETA to Tython? The sooner we recover Voleran and the data, the better."

That's one I probably wouldn't mind releasing eventually, though it still requires some touching up. I should note though that I didn't make the mask. And at this very moment I know- that there's something fishy with the movie back then. The first time I watch the movie [about last March] was about the very first time I play KotOR too, and I convinced that there are no Jedi robes with cape in the game; and this scene hit the hammer on my head real hurt! 🤣

AUDITIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO AUDITIONED. Hey everyone, Well, this is a post I had hoped I'd never have to make, but here we are. I regret to say that the final film in my series: "The Prodigal Knight" is on an INDEFINITE hiatus. This is due to my main voice actor for Zekk becoming AWOL and failing to meet various deadlines and (recently) no longer responding to my emails at all. Because of this, I have finally decided to part ways with this voice actor. I want to say now, that I hold no ill will against this person, this is not a character assassination or a rant against him, but I can no longer continue to delay this film because of him. I have an understanding of his situation and I wish him all the best, but I don't feel it's fair on myself to be kept waiting any longer whilst wondering if I will ever receive the final sets of lines to complete the film. What does this mean for the project? Well, first of all: IT IS NOT DEAD. This project WILL eventually be done, I promise. This setback, however, means I must now re-cast Zekk for this final film and find a new actor to re-record ALL of his lines for this film, not just the remaining few. I won't be happy with releasing a film where the lead changes voice halfway through. They don't do it in the movie industry, and I don't see why I should either. This will take time, yes, but I have all the lines written and ready to go, to be sent in one large batch to whoever eventually takes the part. Auditions for the part are now OPEN. If you are interested, please contact me directly on here. Or, if you have a recommendation for a voice actor, please send it my way. Please note I am NOT able to offer any voice actors any form of payment other than my undying gratitude and an early download link to the film before it goes public. I will not being looking into paid voice acting sites, either. If you want to audition for the role, you must fit the following criteria: - Have access to HIGH QUALITY/professional level recording equipment. I am not *too* picky, but background noise and/or gaming headset mics are a no go. - Have a link to at least one existing showreel you are willing to share with me, so I can hear your work before considering you. - Be punctual when replying to emails and meeting deadlines. - Able to act using a deep and confident tone. For further reference, please consult my previous films to see how Zekk sounded. Please remember: This is a BIG part, with a lot of lines. Please don't audition for this role if you are not up to the commitment. Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me as I make it through this film. It will see the light of day, I promise. And I hope you will all agree when I say it will be worth the wait. ~ DV

The animations and other little details are amazing, the dark illumination is nice but for my taste the general result is a little too much dark grey. Anyway is a great work. It's annoying that there isn't easy directions to install included with the MOD. It has cost to me some time understand how install correctly, moreover with a third program needed that people, like myself, do not use and do not know how it works, so I had to risk a little bit (btw, the video of the included link is useless, above all if english is not native language). I think it can still be helpful so I'll describe how I got it (of course, first of all, you have to download and install XnView if you don't have it): 1- Unzip all 9 parts of the downloaded MOD in their own folder. 2- Copy/Paste (or drag and drop) all the unzipped files from folder 1 and 2 to your KotOR\Override folder. 3- (for simplify) put together all the unzipped files of the folders 3 to 9 in a same folder (obviously, neither folder 1 nor folder 2). 4- Start XnView, the leftmost button is the Browser with wich you have to search the folder where you have placed together the unzipped files of folders 3 to 9. Open the folder and you must see ALL the files placed in the main part of the screen. Select ALL the files (dragging the mouse, Caps+End... anyhow ALL must stay selected). 5- Right click with the mouse on the files (be sure ALL the files are selected) and in the options shown choose and click the market with the hot key "Ctrl+U". 6- In the new window that appears you must indicate the path of your own KotOR\Override folder, the correct format of the files (TGA) and choose "Replace". 7- Click "Go" button, wait a little and you're ready. Enjoy the MOD

Either the vertices aren't aligned, in which case you should toggle snap to vertices and move them into position, or they are aligned but don't have the same skin weight data so they're moving differently, in which case you should edit them in the weight table to make sure that all vertices that intersect have the same values. It looks like the neckline of the torso mesh is set to 100% torsoUpr_g: So I'd expect the issue is that the neck is a separate mesh and the lower vertices on it would have to be set to the same.
