3 pointsThere's probably a strong argument to keep it pre-rendered just because even if you could jam everything into a single module, there's no way to do the transitions in-engine. With that in mind, you should look into that camera track generator that I seem to recall @bead-v was working on at some point. That would allow you to do those same rotating shots around the star maps as in the original video.

Biography: ((Certain aspects are to be revealed)) Zarev is newly promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight after he was barely able to survive a trap set for his master and himself by a Hutt crime syndicate with that had a prior issue with the Jed. The two Jedi were informed that the Hutts had managed to gain information on the location on a Sith Holocron which in itself was the truth but the Hutts had no intention of handing it over. Instead, they unleashed a number of beasts and guards who were on experimental stimulants on the Jedi in order to record the effects of the new stimulants and market them to possibly interested parties. Despite the overwhelming odds, the two Jedi were able to overcome the challenge and obtain the two Sith Holocrons, but Zarev's master succumbed to her wounds shortly after they escaped. Zarev has spent the last few weeks recovering in a bacta tank and has recently emerged from it, ready to help the galaxy the best he can. A smuggling professional, Kif specializes in finding rare and usually very illegal goods/artifacts to deliver to his clients. This occupation has caused him to become a sort of aficionado for Jedi Civil War-era memorabilia, and this is encapsulated in his primary weapon being a 300-year-old sidearm dubbed Ol' Trusty, which he insists will never, ever break. A lover of the simpler things in life, Kif thoroughly enjoys many forms of gambling card games, food, expensive ales and women. He is also a self-proclaimed master of dejarik, much to Varik's disgruntled expense. At his heart Kif is a decent enough fellow, and to his credit has never taken any contracts from the Sith empire.

----------------------- KotOR I RECRUITMENT MOD ----------------------- By BK2-Modder ----------------------- LUO RECRUITMENT MOD ----------------------- NOTE: THIS IS A MOD THAT IS IN NO WAY ASSOCIATED WITH THE ORIGINAL LUO MOD BY DARTH-ME ----------------------- This recruitment mod allows you to recruit Luo, the Black Rakata who seeks to learn the ways of the force. He also has some dialogue options once you recruit him, but they aren't too expansive. Relatively simple. I made this mod because Darth-me's is no longer available, afaik. ----------------------- INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS ----------------------- 1. Extract Folder from Zip Archive 2. Double click TSLPatcher.exe 3. Read this readme again 4. Install the mod to your override folder using TSLPatcher 5. Look at included screenshots prior to playing 6. Open game and play! ----------------------- RECRUITMENT INSTRUCTIONS ----------------------- Luo can be recruited by both LS and DS players, but it might make more sense in a DS playthrough or an LS playthrough in which you help the Black Rakata. LS: 1. After speaking with The One, go to Luo and enter dialogue 2. When Luo talks about the Force, tell him that "I think you misunderstand the Force..." 3. Choose the 4th option, should be the last one that is quite lengthy 4. Select "I will train you in the ways of the force" DS: 1. After killing the Elders, go back to the Black Rakata Base and speak to Luo, who will congratulate you. 2. Going through the main dialogue options, you should get to where he asks to be trained. 3. There should be a new dialogue option that you can choose in which you say that you will train him. 4. choose for him to take either Bastila's or HK's slot. ----------------------- NOTES/BUGS, ETC. ----------------------- - Luo starts out as a Level 1 Jedi Guardian, but he has some good force powers. 1 pointThey all have some sort of device at the back of the neck/head: I did consider adding a tank, but they already clip with a lot of hair, so adding more junk isn't likely to make things better. And there is no way to make them a skinned mesh outside of incorporating them into the head model (or going for a full body model), so trying to add stuff that extends past the head is pretty much a non-starter. Perhaps that could be an option for a specific NPC version. I was thinking about maybe trying something akin to the Cad Bane look, since there is also that style of hat available in TOR.

1 pointYou could just do exactly what the game does for such cases, and have all the different areas as hidden rooms in one module. Although that might be a stretch if you want to keep Bastila on Dantooine.

1 pointOkay, so let's see. Hopefully that works. I tried to match these to Imperial Agent specs, but they've never made too much sense to me, so I gave up and built something that does. (Also, it appears that my vocabulary is failing me. Bear with me.) I may draw a profile pic later if that's okay. Name: Janek "Sandsnake" Steele Class: SIS agent Occupation: sniper/field agent Equipment: sniper rifle (usually stashed somewhere out of the way unless needed), blaster pistol and concealed cortosis knife, black flight jacket, targeting/datalink headgear, and slicing equipment Age: 35 Force abilities: (not applicable) Biography: Target-oriented but untamed and easily bored, Janek has a reputation of resorting to reckless solutions... and being a general nuisance. Whether that's justified or not has never been solved: as a professional liar, he bears many faces, but does not talk about himself much - and even when he does, there's no guarantee he's telling the truth. He has a tendency to do things just to mess with people, but how much that is caused by a skewed mind and how much by a mere paranoia bred from profession is not known. He's deniably good at his job though, which is probably the only reason he still does have it. Although Janek has echani training and is capable of defending himself, he does prefer to avoid fighting unless he is at advantage, whether that's by sniping afar, back-stabbing an unaware opponent, or most preferably, turning a security system against its masters. Fluent in deception, infiltration and assassination, he is an experienced undercover agent, spending a lot of his time on the field, working in the shadows for the Republic... when he's not suspended for taking some rogue action or an unsanctioned mission, or simply irritating important people too much.

As such, when she does this, she can behold the inner heart of those around her, their aura, whether light, dark, or somewhere in between. Other than that, she's an ordinary Jedi, if those of her kind can be considered such. She has no unique talents with either lightsaber or Force use; rather, it's her relentless drive for knowledge that makes her stand out among her peers. One other factor distinguishes her, although she downplays it for good reason: her implant nodule. Disabled from birth, with her gross motor skills having been impaired, it took Jedi cybernetics for her to be able to ambulate "normally." Having survived several hacking attempts, whether playful or not, has made Vesi skilled in the art of digital and cybernetic manipulation.

1 pointHello Hassat, it has been a while since I posted anything in these parts, what with my new job and new house... But I just thought I'd give you some insight on a little something. I know Disney is turning Star Wars into a whole lot of crap, and it seems they destroy continuity and logic at every opportunity, but here's what I got: I feel like the Trandoshan is not very suited to be the one who "build" the ship. Trandoshans are notorious for being hunters, maybe pilots? But I don't think building would be their strong suit. Now TSL and Kotor would have us believe that Wookies are kind of simpletons rustic people. However, I know for a fact that their people produced great engineers and that they have a knack for technology. I think a Wookie engineer would be an interesting twist to this. I don't know if Linksis's lines are voiced, but I can say that there have been occurences of wookies that had to learn to speak as slaves, so that would fit too. Also, you could go for another race that builds ships: Duro, Sullustan, humans...

All out war has erupted across the Galaxy once again as the forces of the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire prepare to eradicate one another once again. Jedi and Sith wage their battles across the Galaxy and the various Hutts and Criminal Syndicates have done their best to capitalize on the chaos caused by the two main warring factions. Weapons trafficking and smuggling are at an all time high. The body count on both sides rises at an alarming rate. Among the chaos of the Galactic War on the Jedi home-world of Tython, chaos is rapidly spreading. Master Voleran, a powerful and respected Jedi Master has vanished along with classified data. Master Satele Shan in collaboration with the Galactic Republic has called an emergency meeting of several promising Republic individuals to deal with this disaster... Tython Jedi Temple Zarev gingerly put weight on his legs and was relieved to find that he no longer felt the slightest bit of pain despite the injuries he had taken. It had taken a few weeks in a bacta tank but he felt he could finally at least walk without having to summon the power of the force to keep his balance and to keep from screaming with pain. A medical droid was waiting for him with a fresh pair of robes that were folded in a neat stack with his battle-worn double bladed lightsaber on top of the robes. "Good day to you Jedi Zarev! How are you feeling today?" The droid asked in a pleasant tone of voice. Zarev smiled briefly at the droid before putting on his robes and hooking his lightsaber to his belt. "Much better then I have been these past few weeks." The smile vanished a moment later as the knowledge that he would never see his Master again hit him. He looked at the empty bacta tank and then back at the droid. "My Master...was she properly put to rest?" He asked quietly. The droid paused for a moment as it accessed the recently updated Jedi database. "Indeed she was, sir. From what I can tell it was a rather large crowd that showed up." Zarev smiled sadly as he checked to make sure he still had his com-device. "Thank you. I'm glad to hear that so many showed up to pay their respect. Have the repairs on her Ship been completed yet?" The droid nodded. "Indeed. The repairs were completed three days ago. I am curious why you are asking about it though." Zarev pulled his hood forward over his head. "I plan on taking a trip." The medical droid paused for a moment as it tried to comprehend his meaning. "I wouldn't advise that course of action, sir. A situation has developed since you entered the bacta tank. Master Satele Shan has asked to see you when you left the tank. She is currently waiting in the Council Chambers for you and a number of other individuals." That was all the information Zarev was able to get out of the droid despite his best efforts. He shook his head in confusion and headed for the Council Chamber.

0 pointsI'm working on a mod to make Bastila's mother, Helena, actually look like her daughter. The original is generic red-haired old lady jedi I know, they totally look alike Anyways, the idea was to reinforce that family relation, so I basically took Bastila's base head, added wrinkles, made a few model tweaks, and changed the hair. So this is probably better, right? And here's a video if you need a better reference I need some ideas on what clothing to give her. My inclination was to give her one of the N_CommF variants, but wasn't sure.
