This mod adds the head model of the Jedi Knight companion Kira Carsen from The Old Republic MMO, ported to TSL as a selectable player head for female characters. TOR uses the same base head mesh for Kira and Meetra Surik, so this was basically a two-for-one deal since the most difficult part is reskinning the face. A few notes: While aligned as closely as possible, the neckline probably won't match perfectly. Expect some visible gaps on body models that don't hide the join. The TOR head models use separate textures for the face, eyes, and hair. In order to allow for DS transitions, these had to be merged together (and the UVs adjusted to match). The eyes are the big loser in this. They went from having their own dedicated 256x256 texture to being shrunk down to a corner where they could be squeezed in. An additional consequence of the texture merge is no normal maps, due to the hair requiring alpha masking. TOR heavily relies on tint mapping textures for variation - skin tone, hair colour, eye colour, etc. Unfortunately, while the tint colours are available in the material files, the specifics of their shaders are currently unknown to me, so the best I can do is experiment with various blend modes to approximate the look. It may require some further experimentation and kludging. Not even having specularity, much less the advanced (by comparison) graphical features of TOR, expect textures to look pretty flat by comparison to the originals. KOTOR has a maximum bone limit per mesh of 16. This creates a problem for TOR meshes, as adding the eyelids to the face bone array pushes that to 18. I had to drop 2 bones to make it work. I chose the two nose corner bones, as they seemed the least important. I don't know what effect this may have on various facial animations though. The hair meshes are currently completely rigid. Possibly I may add a danglymesh version in a future update. Dark Side transitions are included, but they are relatively mild. I'm not a big fan of the zombie look. Installation If you are using TSLRCM or the hybrid TSLRCM + M4-78 from the Steam Workshop, make sure to choose its Workshop folder as the installation location, not the main game folder. You could always help out Zbyl2 with EP 1.4. You might be less cranky.

I think that the situation is not entirely the same. I'm not a reddit user/fan, but, they don't seem to be in the entertainment business having spent 4 billion on an IP that came with an existing established fan-base they needed to sell future products to -- the SW franchise. Then allowed that fan-base to be vilified because they saw that The Last Jedi, and though being a good looking film, thought it was an utter turd that shat on The Force Awakens and the original trilogy, so as to push an agenda at all costs -- even story. These fans no longer trust critic reviews, because they went to see The Last Jedi because critics said it was the best Star Wars film ever. This resulted in the film doing less at the box office compared to The Force Awakens, as these fans did not return to the cinema for repeat viewings. Then when Solo came out, they opted to send a message to Lucasfilm (Disney) by not spending their money to see it. And no I actually don't think this was due to an organised boycott -- lots of fans came to this conclusion on their own, and those that aren't fans, simply decided that a SW film was no longer an indicator of money well spent and best use of their leisure time. Money talks, and a loss of money (revenue) to Disney makes things like Kathleen Kennedy being fired for her role in all this as the head of Lucasfilm, a reality -- even if at the moment they are having a hard time finding someone to take the job after KK made it toxic. It may not make much of a difference, but it is a first (critical) step. Personally, I think the deciding factor will be the performance of SW IX, that will clarify the impact Rian Johnson's The Last Jedi has had on the profitability of Star Wars.

Summary Early in the game, BioWare had Bastila appear in an outfit that's a homage to the infamous Slave Leia costume from Return of the Jedi. But it was just a retexture of her regular underwear. For the sequel, Obsidian made the same homage and included a more elaborate model that could be worn by most female members of the party once the item is acquired. This mod ports the K2 model to replace Bastila's outfit in K1. Note that this will not replace Bastila's easter egg appearance because that uses a different line in appearance.2da. That will have to remain a retexture of Bastila's underwear, unless one were to replace her underwear model with the dancer outfit entirely. Instead, this mod adds a dancer outfit item that Bastila can wear any time afterwards. It has the same properties as the item from K2 and can only be worn by Bastila. I've modified the dancer outfit model to more closely resemble Bastila's body shape. I've also changed the texture to match her skin tone and fixed a few minor errors I noticed. Finally, I've included an alternate texture that changes the outfit's color scheme from red to a sort of dark blue with gold flowers and a lavender trim. I was trying to match the color scheme of her original outfit. @Dark Hope has also made a new texture with that color scheme and it's a lot fancier. Note that if you want to use any other texture that isn't in a TPC file, you'll have to remove JC_SlaveBast01.tpc. Compatibility This mod is not compatible with other mods that affect Bastila's slave appearance. This mod uses my Supermodel Port for K1. This makes it super cripplingly incompatible with any other mods that alter the game's supermodels (the S_Female and S_Male files) unless the other mods utilize my Supermodel Port assets. These edits are necessary to give the player supermodels the bones required for the cloaks to animate. This mod's supermodels include my Supermodel Fixes for K1. So you don't have to worry about using that, or if these files are overwriting those. Use this mod's files. These supermodel edits somewhat alter some animations in the game. These adjustments were necessary to prevent the old stuff from clipping with the new stuff. It's essentially what Obsidian did when they added the new bones to the supermodel, but I've reversed the changes a bit to bring the animations closer to the original K1 style. Some models aren't so happy with the new rig. I've made some hotfixes for such cases where I can, but they won't be compatible with other mods that alter these models. I've instructed TSLPatcher not to overwrite these. P_JuhaniBB.mdl and P_JuhaniBB.mdx are two such files that will be skipped. If you use the Juhani Catlike Head Mod, I suggest that you use my version because I happened to fix the same thing that mod fixes anyway. You can copy those two files manually from tslpatchdata to Override. While this mod adds skirt bones to the player supermodels, at this time it does not add the bones or the necessary animations to the cutscene models. So the skirt flaps may appear stiff in scenes that use those. This mod edits the script k_ptar_bastpart.ncs in tar_m03af.mod. If install another mod that edits that script after this one, then you won't automatically get the dancer outfit item, but all the other changes will still take effect. You can cheat the item in if you want. The item name is jc_slavebast. I've instructed the patcher to skip the file ia_cloths_255.tpc if it finds another copy present. If this file isn't installed, it will look like something else in the inventory but everything else will be as it should be. There are so-called "lite" alien models that are of lesser quality than most other models in the game. These include the Quarren and Gran species. Both aliens feature more prominently in the sequel and their models were given an overhaul. This mod ports the K2 versions of the models back to K1, improving the quality of models and creating a more consistent aesthetic.

View File PartySwap and Extended Enclave Compatibility Patch =PartySwap and Extended Enclave Compatibility Patch= A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC II: THE SITH LORDS MODIFICATION AUTHOR: Leilukin FILE NAME: PartySwap_EEnclave_ComPatch.7z LATEST VERSION: 1.8.2 CONTACT: E-mail to leilukin@outlook.com, or message to Leilukin on Deadly Stream 1. DESCRIPTION: This patch will make DarthTyren’s PartySwap mod compatible with danil-ch and Darth Hayze’s Extended Enclave mod. If you also want to use N-DReW25's Extended Enclave Patch, I have provided an additional installation option in my patch to make PartySwap compatible with both Extended Enclave and Extended Enclave Patch. You can find and download the mods here: PartySwap: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/544-partyswap/ Extended Enclave: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/428-extended-enclave-tslrcm-add-on/ Extended Enclave Patch: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1842-extended-enclave-patch/ NOTE: This patch may NOT be compatible with non-English localizations of KotOR 2 and The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM). You do NOT need to install this patch if you want to use my Handmaiden and Female Exile - Disciple and Male Exile Romance mod, because my mod already includes compatibility patches that will allow my mod to work together with both PartySwap and Extended Enclave. 2. INSTALLATION: STEP 1: Download and install The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM), since TSLRCM is REQUIRED for both PartySwap and Extended Enclave to work. I recommend using the installer version of TSLRCM (https://deadlystream.com/files/file/578-tsl-restored-content-mod/) instead of the Steam Workshop version, even if you play KotOR 2 on Steam. STEP 2: Download and install PartySwap: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/544-partyswap/ STEP 3: Download and install Extended Enclave: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/428-extended-enclave-tslrcm-add-on/ (You must install Extended Enclave AFTER PartySwap) OPTIONAL STEP: If you want to use it, download and install N-DReW25's Extended Enclave Patch: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1842-extended-enclave-patch/ STEP 4: Download my compatibility patch for PartySwp and Extended Enclave, extract PartySwap_EEnclave_ComPatch.7z to anywhere you like, as long as it is not within the KoOR 2 directory. STEP 5: Run the PS EE Comp Patch Installer.exe from my compatibility patch. You will see there are three installation options, and you may only install ONE of these three options: No M4-78EP Installed: Choose this installation option if you do NOT have M4-78 Enhancement Project installed. DO NOT choose this option if you have installed N-DReW25's Extended Enclave Patch. M4-78EP Installed: Choose this installation option if you DO have M4-78 Enhancement Project installed. DO NOT choose this option if you have installed N-DReW25's Extended Enclave Patch. Extended Enclave Patch Installed: Choose this installation option if you have installed N-DReW25's Extended Enclave Patch, regardless if you have installed M4-78 Enhancement Project or not. Once you have selected an installation option, and select your KotOR 2 game folder as your KotOR 2 directory path, click the “Install” button and let the installer do its job. When you install this mod, two new folders named "backup" and “uninstall” will be created by the installer in the same folder as the installer. Do not delete the folders or any of the files within the folder if you are planning on uninstalling this mod. The "Source" folder includes the source of the scripts used by this mod for modders' reference. Ignore the "Source" folder if you only want to install and play this mod. 3. UNINSTALLATION: Run PS EE Comp Patch Installer.exe. From the “Tools” dropdown menu, select “Uninstall Mod / Restore Backup”, then confirm to uninstall the patch. You can also choose to delete the backup after uninstalling the patch. Note that this action only uninstalls my compatibility patch, and not PartySwap, Extended Enclave and Extended Enclave Patch. 4. KNOWN ISSUES: None currently known. If you find any other bugs or problems, please let me know. 5. Run TSLPatcher. It will ask you for the location of the game. If you are using TSLRCM (or TSLRCM + M4-78 combo) from the Workshop, you'll need to use that as the installation location. If you are using the standalone Workshop version of M4-78, you need to use that instead. If you are using any other Workshop mod that alters 2DA files, you are probably screwed. Locations: Base game folder - <Steam or SteamLibrary>\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II TSLRCM (English) Workshop folder - <Steam or SteamLibrary>\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\485537937 TSLRCM + M4-78EP combo (English) Workshop folder - <Steam or SteamLibrary>\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\1402798020 M4-78EP Workshop folder - <Steam or SteamLibrary>\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\485560877 By default the Steam root directory is usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam but substitute your location, or that of the Library if you are using one (Workshop items reside in the same Library as the parent game).

One thing I dislike about the new EU is that it's all "canon" except when it's not. "Poe met Rey already in some frakkin' book? Nah, we need that in the movie!" So, it's literally the exact same as it was before, just Disney's version of it with added lip service to get you to buy more books.

I finished watching this. I cringed. A lot. All this energy hating on Kathleen Kennedy would be better served doing something actually productive. Thinking firing KK will change anything is like thinking firing Ellen Pao changed anything at Reddit. (If people don't understand what I mean by this I'd be happy to further clarify this, but I'm short on time these weeks)

MAJOR UPDATE: As busy as I've recently found myself in my life, I haven't found any time to work on the anticipated compatibility patch between PartySwap and Extended Enclave, nor will I be able to find time or desire to work on it in the near future. However, there is some good news - @Leilukin has graciously volunteered her time and dedication to creating said patch, and I've given her the go-ahead! I hope you'll all join me in wishing her luck!

As much as I like TFA and TLJ, this is actually one of my bigger issues with LucasFilms' current approach I'm fine if there's extraneous information in EU that can enhance my enjoyment of the movie. But I'm not so crazy when there's information that's significant to defining the state of the world/universe or essential to the narrative that's outside the main product. I don't think the latter is going on at all, but the former, definitely so I know in EU, the First Order started as a fringe group that slowly grew in power over time, and how Leia founded the Resistance separate from the New Republic with her friends who still believed in her after she was shunned because it became public knowledge she's Vader's daughter, but you'd never know that if you didn't read the books or at least Wookieepedia or something Like I said, it isn't essential to understand the story - I agree with you that it's just the same as not knowing how the Galactic Empire came to be, so it doesn't really detract from enjoying it in that sense - but it does in that the current approach places equal importance on external media. Not sure how common that stance is, but eh

On behalf of members of Deadlystream community, We acknolwedge and honor the effort and dedication of a respected member of our community, Sith Holocron. As many of you know, Sith Holocron has been an admin on deadlystream for as long as many of us can remember. He recently announced his reitrement as of July 1st, 2018. Years and years of patiently handling and resolving conflict between modders, community members, moderators, and other admins, Sith Holocron went above and beyond the requirements of his position and actively sought out to create a friendly, constructive forum site. Often pointing forum members, through PM or forum posts, towards other members that would have the knowledge they sought. When I was new the forums, it was SH who pointed me towards certain members to ask about modding topics. Sith Holocron's outstanding management to maintain and uphold the Rules of Deadlystream, even when he may have personally disagreed with the rules, and, in some cases, when enforcing the rules was unpopular, stands as testament to his incredible dedication. Despite knowing that by his actions of enforcing unpopular rules and policies, he would put himself, personally, in the crossfire; he continually did so for the benefit of the community. Sith Holocron invested into the community in ways, many of us cannot presume to comprehend, as an administrator, and, to this day, as a member of the community. From critique and to praise, from engaging and encouraging modders to collaborate and create to reminding members of the DS policies, Sith Holocron influenced the establishment of countless mods. Thanks. <bashful> I just quit the Staff. I ain't leaving the site, folks. Easier to have less responsibilities so I can concentrate on assisting other mods - mainly by recruiting. It is more rewarding (for me) and I think I might appear less like a blowhard that way. You're not rid of me yet...
