  1. PHMC06 Beard and new Dark side Transition

I'm going to explain a bit about the mod. I added a beard and darkened the hair of the blonde guy PC head for KOTOR 2. I also created a full darkside transition from scratch that I believe will add a new touch to darkside play-throughs.
    --INSTALLATION--
Installation is simple, just extract the files in the zip folder to your override folder in the game directory. If you're replacing another mod that alters the same PC head as mine, it'll ask you if you want to overwrite existing files, hit yes to all.
-These are the only files you need to extract. I will include a read-me with these instructions in case you miss them.
    PMHC06.tga
    PMHC06D1.tga
    PMHC06D2.tga
    PO_PMHC06.tga
    PO_PMHC06D1.tga
    PO_PMHC06D2.tga

    --COMPATIBILITY--

    - There shouldn't be any compatibility issues unless another mod directly alters the PMHC06 head.

I constantly checked my work against the 3D model to ensure there were no texture seams. I even added an environment map to enhance the look of the brushed metal. This mod should be compatable with both KotOR games, though T3-M4's texture will go unused in KotOR.

Exile's Iridorian Armor Description : Gives the Exile an Iridorian Tribal HyperMesh armor instead of a name armband on the Harbinger. Install : Run Install.exe Uninstall : Remove a_band_c01.uti from Override --- This mod was made in the spirit of recreating my first skin. It replaces the unused Restrictive Robe type of item. No futher requirements for installation. To install, run tslpatcher, and when prompted, select your Knights of the Old Republic II directory. 8. Frank Lloyd Wright Glass Replacement in the Ebon Hawk

    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 24 NOV 2019
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2 (see notes below for which files are applicable to which game)

    Description:

I’ve done a few small modifications for the Ebon Hawk over the years, most of which aren’t things that I’ve felt measured up to the standards of the KOTOR modding community.  However, one of the small modifications that I’ve made recently showed up in a movie clip presented by Darth Varkor.

It seemed to result in some nice feedback so I’ve reconsidered holding this one back.
The glass in the Ebon Hawk that this mod replaces in this mod originally looked like this:

(texture size increased to 512 x 512 for easier viewing)
My version replaces this blue version (LEH_light04) with a Luxfer Prism designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

It also replaces the unlit version (LEH_light06).

Finally, I’ve replaced LEH_light03 as it currently has the LEH_light04 texture behind a circular grate.  You now have two choices - the new blue light behind the old grate or the new grate that Dark Hope created in her IGM mod. (Dark Hope's texture used with permission.)

Those wanting further information on the Luxfer Prism can consult this article.

Though I've placed this in the Knights of the Old Republic 2 section, this mod is compatible with both games.  However, only the following textures are actually seen in KotOR1: LEH_light03 and LEH_light04.

    But what about LEH_light11?

(texture size shown actual size for comparison to original blue texture above)
Those comfortable rooting around in the KotorTool for textures may have noticed a different texture called “LEH_light11” which is a red version of the original texture.

However – as confirmed by DarthParametric – it doesn’t appear in any of the MDLs so it won’t ordinarily show up in the game.  That doesn’t mean someone may not implement it in a future mod for TSL.  Therefore, I’ve included a red version of the Luxfer Prism as well.  If you don’t wish to unnecessarily clutter your Override folder, don’t place LEH_light11.tga or LEH_light11.txi - this is an animated file - into it.  The red version also has a 7-step animation, with a slight brightening to simulate a “red alert” type of situation.

    This is an optional file.

    Installation:

For KotOR1, you'll be adding the following files to your Override folder: LEH_light03.tga, LEH_light04.tga, LEH_light04.txi.  However, you'll have to choose which version of LEH_light03.tga you want from one of the two sub-folders.
For KotOR2, you'll be adding the following files to your Override folder: LEH_light03.tga, LEH_light04.tga, LEH_light04.txi and LEH_light06.tga.  However, you'll have to choose which version of LEH_light03.tga you want from one of the two sub-folders. Do not include the LEH_light11 files to your Override folder unless you have a mod that enables that texture in your game and you wish to use my version instead of the original texture.

    Uninstallation:

    Take them out again.

    Known Bugs:

    None known at this time.

I hereby state that I specifically do NOT wish this mod to be uploaded to Steam. I may release this on NexusMods at a later date but I don't wish others to do so on my behalf. Usage in other mods must be requested AND approved by me before your use with the exception of the LEH_light04 texture.  Usage of the Dark Hope version of the LEH_light04 texture in your mod requires the permission of both Dark Hope AND myself. (I must also be included in the PM that you send to Dark Hope so I can see the permission granted with my own eyes.)

    Credits & Special Thanks:

Dark Hope: For her kind permission to alter her LEH_light04 texture and include it with this mod.
DarthParametric: For discovering that LEH_light11 doesn’t appear in the MDL files of TSL.
Maverick8341 (on Reddit): For their valiant attempts to find visual evidence that LEH_light11 appears in TSL.

Ebony Moon and DarthVarkor: Beta Testing of this mod and for the mod in-game screenshots.

  9. Beautified Saber Blades for TSL

    Beautified Saber Blades for TSL

Info:  Experimenting with saber blades, I was able to get thicker, more pronounced blades in game. I have redone all the colors with this new method. Sabers look great in game, definitely more of a JK1 feel. I'm overall very pleased with this result. The silver color option has been replaced with a universal Kaiburr crystal item that you can choose the color of. Unique colors to choose for a silver replacement including two types of default silver color, black, clear-red, clear-blue, and clear-purple.  Install the colors in Step 1 of the archive, then install a silver color in step 2. You can pick from several options for silver. This mod fully works on the default game's sabers. It may work differently if you install additional hilt mods.  New Version 3.3 : Two new versions of the default colors have been added. Cartoon cores, and another version of the colors in the style of JK3.
Installation:  copy files from mod archive into your Override folder. Uninstallation:  remove mod files from Override.

Permissions: Do not redistribute or release this mod. If you want to use it for making your own mod, credit me for my work in your readme

  11. Movie Mandalorians - Retextured

    Movie Mandalorians - Retextured
    by Mcfly
    --------------------
My intention in making these textures was to fuse the concept of the Movie Mandalorians mod, with the original in-game Mandalorian designs.
I initially made these just for my own use, but I decided to release them once I finally completed the set.
    --------------------
    Install:
    --------------------
    - These textures require the Movie Mandalorians mod by Deadman.
    - Copy all .tga files into your KOTOR2/override folder.
    --------------------
    Uninstall:
    --------------------
    - Delete the .tga files from your override folder.
    - Reinstall Movie Mandalorians mod to restore the original textures
    --------------------
    Special Thanks:
    --------------------
    - Deadman, for creating the original mod. Thank you Deadman!
    --------------------
    Permission:
    --------------------
    - Anyone is welcome to do whatever they like with these.

  12. Shirtless Atton Retex

This is it. This is how Atton Rand was meant to dress. The faithfulness to his concept art is staggering
    Features:
A coveted glimpse of Atton Rand's chest Known Issues:
You're always going to see the neck seam because of cast shadows, so how obvious it is depends on the lighting. Some of the best lighting is found in the well-lit entryways of Nar Shaddaa's entertainment promenade, so if you want Atton's chest to look good while he tells you about the horrible acts he's committed, try to initiate the conversation there. If you use the vanilla textures, there's a period of time in the middle of a dark side descent in which Atton's face won't match with his chest, since there's an extra transition texture for the face but not for the body. You can avoid this somewhat by using subtler dark side face textures; I like using luminousbathhouse's Atton reskin. File:
The file contains my edits on the vanilla texture files at 512p, and an optional file for use with luminousbathhouse's Atton reskin.
    Installation:
Move P_AttonBA.tga and P_AttonBAD01.tga to Knights of the Old Republic II\override
    Uninstallation:
Delete P_AttonBA.tga and P_AttonBAD01.tga from Knights of the Old Republic II\override

  14. Black for Silver Crystal & Saber Colors

Black for Silver Crystal and Saber Colors
    by 90SK

Info: Actually also available in the "Bleach Skin Pack" on filefront Kotor2 mod archive, I made this as part of a mod by request a number of years ago, and it was fairly successful, the blade has a unique, vibrating energy look and is generally very dark black blade. It replaces the silver crystal, although I believe if Atton asks you about your old saber, you say silver but then the Exile had a black blade instead.

Mod permissions: Please do not release this mod without my permissions.
Installation: Place files in Override folder, in your SWKotOR2 directory.
Uninstallation: remove mod files from Override

  15. PFHCO5 HEAD/FACE

This mod brings detail to the next level! Add a more 3-D feel with aging and realistic skin!   So like all my mods, I add some age to the character - wrinkles around the eyes, nose, forehead, laugh lines. I increased the sharpness in game and this make a huge difference. The hair looks a lot better than VANILLA...  she differently looks older!  (But not as old as that witch!)  The reason for this is she was a Jedi so probably 20 years old if not older then roughly 10 years traveling around space puts this one at 30 or older.  (I think older.)  Oh yeah, let me say that this re texture and the modifications I made are a big step up from my two re-textures! If you're going to download a skin, please down this!  I worked my butt off and I learned a lot of new things along the way. This is truly a PASSION project.
    THIS IS A MANUAL INSTALL.
I also added a dark side transition but they are not as detailed as the base face if this gets downloaded enough, I'll add the aging to the dark side. Thank you for all the support and the downloads. I really hope you enjoy this skin. I'm personally doing a brand new play through.

  19. Sith Soldier armor retexture

This mod changes the armor of the Sith soldiers and also restores the unused bumpmap. The shiny silver armor now has a dark gray, greenish / bluish finish, similar to the gray of the Wehrmacht or General Veers' armor. The paint of the red armor is now a bit more orange and a little more saturated. For both armor, small details such as scratches on the metal or fabric on the black suit underneath were added and the gloss effects were greatly reduced.
The mod is compatible with Kotor and TSL.

  21. [TSL] Animated Computer Panel

This mod replaces the static computer panel placeables [PLC_comPanel] that found throughout the game; such as one in the Bumani's, Medical Unit, and Czerka's [on Telos] with the animated ones.

     -= BACKGROUND =-
It was Sith Holocron's request about his least favorite texture in KotOR2/TSL that makes me work on this mod. But as time goes by curiosity on trying to improve it haunts me, by doing more and looking much better -- hence the born of v2.0.0. On this [as well as the previous one] I have him to help on making the panel screen, hence the sweet result of a movie-like looking ones. And then with DarthParametric's handy-hands the panel now have a new symmetrical frame, some 3D buttons, also few TOR-ported bits on the screen. Not stopping there, it now have a new panel board decals -- a copied work from Frank Diorio's downloadable decals [then niubniubsuniverse-dot-com].

    -= ABOUT THIS MOD =-

    Preview:
    Transparent Solid
    Specifics:
New panel frame trimesh made by @DarthParametric New 3D buttons trimesh made by DarthParametric Panel screen bitmap made by @Sith Holocron Panel board bitmap made by Frank Diorio TOR ported animated bits redistributed by DarthParametric Tools mostly worked on to -- KOTORmax [gmax] by bead-v / Aurora MDL [N++] by Symmetric The panel texture currently still in vanilla scheme [based on stock PLC_comPanel], albeit upscaled to x1024 from x256 using PS'.

    -= KNOWN ISSUES =-
With transparent version, some objects will become invisible behind the screen; such as traffics seen from Medical Unit and lightsaber as well with the hilt. There's a workaround for the traffics, but that's beyond the scope of this mod so they're something to live with at the moment. Nothing that I know of though for the lightsabers.

  22. Peragus Medical Monitors and Computer Panel

    MOD AUTHOR: Sith Holocron
    ORIGINAL RELEASE: 03 OCT 2018
MOST CURRENT RELEASE: 22 NOV 2024
GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords

    Description:
The video on the download page covers what I’ve done with the Medical Monitors you encounter at the start of your game.
The “PER_Cpanel.tga” texture has been remade from ground up. First off, it uses a new upscaled version of the texture to bring it from 256 x 256 to 1024 x 1024.  Then, I added new blinking LEDs. Also included: new tachometers to replace the old meters. And there are new monitors . . . and those have 8 frames of animation.
The “PER_Cpan” and “PER_Cpin” textures are also new. PER_Cpan uses a upscaled version of the texture to bring it from 256 x 256 to 1024 x 1024. Then I added new LEDs. The “PER_Cpin” texture is now sized at 256 x 256 (upscaled to twice its original size) with 4 frames of animation and new lighted buttons.
The final new texture is PER_Tek2 has 16 frames on animation. I used Thor110’s upscale of the texture added a frame around it and created the missing TXI file.

    Installation:
Put all TGA and TXI files into your KotOR2 Override folder.

    Uninstallation:
    Take them out again.

    Known Bugs:
None known at this time. (None were ever reported for the first release.)

    Special Thanks:

To ConansHair: For providing the upscaled “PER_Cpanel.tga” in the previous version of this mod and for helpful feedback. Though I used my own upscale for this updated version, I wanted to keep this shout out intact. To Malkior: For suggestions on texture inclusions (including the fader levels on the lower left -most monitor. To Fair Strides: For helpful feedback. To Thor110 for making his upscale package a modder’s resource – indispensable for the PER_Tek2 texture.

    Additional Information:
If you're curious what the monitors on the Computer Panel looked like before I shrank them down, look below.  Keep in mind that GIF speeds are not indicative of speeds of animations in the game.

And in the video below, you can see what the Medical Monitors look like in the game.

  23. Improved Dantooine Skybox

I've always thought the Dantooine Skybox was rather low quality. These new textures are 1K resolution and fit in with the existing color palette and fog.
    Notes:
Fog in 2 modules has been tweaked to better blend in with the skybox fog. Installation:

  24. Harbinger white lights

I've never liked the ugly orange lights on the Harbinger. It seems that Obsidian agreed with me at some point, as some lightmaps clearly point to them using white(r) light textures at one point.

This small texture mod changes the ship's lighting from orange to the white seen on the Endar Spire in K1 (But a dim white, to keep the aesthetic Obsidian was going for). I personally think it looks much, much better.
    Notes:
Lightmaps in a few places needed to be edited. This included a few lightmaps of 151HAR and almost the entirety of 153HAR (the lightning in most of it was this ugly shade of yellow/brown) Curiously, 153HAR had a few placeables which seemed to have neutral lighting, which meant they stood out from the yellow-ish lightmaps. With my mod, they fit in MUCH better. Why yes, it does come with loading screens. Installation:

  25. Mandalorian HK-47

As requested by Oaks, this gives HK a new coat of paint to make him match with the mandalorian neocrusaders.
Options for normal or white eyes and a neocrusader logo on his chest, head, both or neither.
Just a reskin so it shouldn't cause any problems except with other mods that reskin HK.
