    This mod will add variety of clone armors and two variants of DC-15 rifle to your game. You can either get them from the corpse of Republic Trooper aboard the Endar Spire, or use the console commands.
     
    2. Installation:
    =========
    Run the TSL Patcher and sit back, the installer will handle everything, including compatibility with other mods.
     
    3. Usage
    =========
    All armors, ten DC-15A and ten DC-15S rifles can be found on a Republic Trooper corpse aboard the Endar Spire, marked “Republic Quartermaster Corpse”.

  2. Modder's Tool: Power/Gonk Droid

    I give you the Power Droid!! Also commonly referred to has the Gonk/GNK droid. The model itself was part of the damaged Ebon Hawk module at the beginning of KOTOR2:TSL. I ripped the droid model from the room model. I gave him limited animations which I borrowed from the protocol droid model. The power droid can walk and stand/pause/at rest. After all, it is only a power droid. He looks good. An essential NPC for any new area!!!
     
    Open the .zip file and follow the Readme instructions.
     
    File contains the necessary .mdl/.mdx files, .2da entry, .utc file, .dlg and voice files.

    Description:
     
    You've probably seen The Force Awakens at this point, and Kylo Ren's unique lightsaber as well. The saber features crossguard blades that serve a defensive purpose as well as venting extra heat. Now, you can play through Knights of the Old Republic wielding crossguard lightsabers as your own! This mod adds crossguard lightsabers complete with animations, plus Kylo Ren's lightsaber, to Knights of the Old Republic.
     
    Each of the regular crossguard lightsabers is completely upgradeable. Kylo Ren's lightsaber is not upgradeable, but features animated blade textures to give it the unstable plasma look as seen the The Force Awakens.
     
    Use:
     
    Due to the unique way that Knights of the Old Republic handles lightsabers, to make the lightsabers upgradeable, this mod adds an emitter item which can be bonded with any of the default lightsaber color crystals in the game. Once you have an emitter and a lightsaber color crystal, talk to T3 who can bond them together to give you the new crystal bonded to the emitter. Simply install the new bonded crystal in a single-bladed regular lightsaber, and you now have a Crossguard Lightsaber! The bonded crystals can also be used in double-bladed or short lightsabers, however, they will still be the default double-bladed and short bladed lightsabers. If you want to remove a crystal from an emitter, talk to T3 once more and he will separate the two item.
     
    You can get crossguard lightsabers in the following locations:
     
    Dantooine: Blue crossguard lightsaber on Nemo's body
    Kashyyyk: Jolee now comes equipped with a violet crossguard lightsaber
    Korriban: Sith lightsaber located in Naga Sadow's tomb has been changed to Kylo Ren's lightsaber, emitter in Marka Ragnos's tomb
    Tatooine: Emitter in Kraayt Dragon cave
    Unknown World: Emitter on The One's body
    Yavin Station: Suvam Tam will sell you 2 emitters (1 in each of his 2nd and 3rd inventory iterations, available after Leviathan)

    INCOMPATIBILITY:
     
    DUE TO THE UNIQUE WAY THAT THIS MOD IS SET UP, IT IS LIKELY INCOMPATIBLE WITH MODS THAT HAVE A UPCRYSTALS.2DA OR MODIFY UPCRYSTALS.2DA. THIS MEANS THAT MOST LIGHTSABER MODS WILL BE INCOMPATIBLE. IF YOU USE THIS MOD AND OTHER LIGHTSABER MODS AND HAVE PROBLEMS, UNINSTALL BOTH MODS AND REINSTALL THIS MOD.
     
    Bugs:
     
    Due to limitations with current KotOR modding tools, there are a few very minor issues with this mod. The largest issue is that when you enter any module, the crossguard lightsabers will be extended and will not retract after any period of time. If you hit the "flourish" key or unequip and re-equip the crossguard lightsabers, the saber will retract normally until you enter another module. I cannot fix this bug, it is caused by incomplete code in the tools that we have and I do not have the expertise to edit the tool.

  4. Juhani Romance Enhancement

    As you might know or not, there is a romance with Juhani available for female characters in K1. The problem with that is, that it has no real closure and what little it has, is easily skipped in the heat of the final part of the game. This mod aims to fix that by doing two things: First of all, the final conversation is now triggered automatically if available in order not to get lost. Secondly, it now includes a kiss, similar to the one in the Bastila Romance Enhancement (actually, I used the same animations).

    Installation:
    Simply let TSL Patcher do its magic. It should find your KotOR installation automatically. If it doesn't and you have to select it manually, choose the folder that includes swkotor.exe. Do NOT delete the backup folder that is created during the installation, you'll need it if you ever want to uninstall this mod.
    For modders: I included the source scripts in the download in case you're interested. Ignore them if you only want to install and play the mod.
     
    Uninstallation:
    Delete jre_dialog.dlg, jre_intro.ncs, jre_kiss.ncs, jre_trigger.ncs and jre_trigger.utt from your Override folder. Then find the backup of unk_m44ac.mod created during the installation of this mod (it is located in the backup folder that was created in the folder where you ran TSLPatcher.exe) and copy it into the Modules folder of your KotOR installation, replacing the one already there. Note however, that this might screw up other mods that modified the same file and were installed afterwards!
     
    Compabilitiy:
    Thanks to TSLPatcher this mod is compatible pretty much everything. (The only incompability I can think of would be another mods that adds cameras with the same IDs but that's pretty unlikely.)

    A note about the 1.5 bundled release:
     
    The 1.5 bundled release has some bugs fixed, but it is also in preparation for an eventual 2.0 release that will only have 1 installer. This 1.5 release still has both the 1.0 and the 1.1 downloads, so you will need to download both files.

    If you absolulty love Zaalbar, you will get these weapons. This is a nice little touch to give Zaalbar more of a kick.

    These items are for Zaalbar, and only Zaalbar can use
    them. We are familiar with his Bowcaster, as it can still
    be upgraded and it's more powerful. Zaalbar now has his own
    Wookiee Warblade and Implant. Zaalbar's Warblade is very
    powerful and upgradeable, and his Implant regenerates his
    health, plus it gives Zaalbar the master two-handed weapon
    feat so that he doesn't get a penalty for using his Warblade.
    These items can be found in the footlocker where you would
    originally find Zaalbar's Bowcaster, which is near where you
    rescue Zaalbar.

    The Galaxy Map texture of the Ebon Hawk was originally sized at 128x128. It is now sized to 512x512. In addition to the resolution bump, the actual texture is now animated.
    As the texture tile is named the same in both KotOR games, the mod is usable in both games.
     
    Though this mod is meant for Knights of the Old Republic 1, it can and will work in KotOR2 if the installation instructions below are followed.
     
    Don't use this with Knights of the Old Republic 2, if seeing planets only seen in Knights of the Old Republic 1 causes any measure of distress. (Use the TSL version instead.)

    This is a simple mod that "unchains" Force Push/Wave/Whirlwind and Shock/Lightning/Storm; in other words, you don't have to obtain the lower powers (such as Force Push) to learn the higher powers in the chain (such as Force Whirlwind). I haven't tested this with any other mods, but should be compatible with most all of them.

    DESCRIPTION: This mod is a complete animation fix for Revan's robes (The "Chest Camera" issue has been corrected). Right now, it only works for the N_DarthRevan model, and not the maskless robes. The animations have been a painful process, as I had to animate frame by frame. For your convienence, I also included a disguise for Revan.

    WARNING: Do not use any other mods that alter n_darthrevan.mdl/n_darthrevan.mdx as they will over write this mod.

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Run Canderous' Mandalorian Items, and follow the on-screen instructions.
     
    DESCRIPTION: This mod gives Canderous some personal Mandalorian items. I thought that he should have something of his own besides a heavy repeater, so I added them. I created a Mandalorian helmet, which bears some resemblance to Mandalore's helmet from TSL, but is not intended to be an exact replica. Also, I modeled a chain gun for him. It is very large, and has three barrels which do rotate in-game. It has decent stats, but a dexterity penalty because of the weight of it. The chain gun is upgradeable, except for a scope which wouldn't do much good on such a weapon. In addition, I reskinned an armor variant in similar colors to the helmet. It is upgradeable as well. Lastly, I gave him all three implant feats (since he is supposed to have special implants) and gave him his very own Mandalorian implant. You will see Canderous on Taris all dressed in his new stuff, with the exception of the undercity (he doesn't have his helmet on there). He is equipped with the items when you gain him into your party at Davik's Estate.

  15. Mekel Recruitment Mod (English & German)

    With this mod, you can replace Zaalbar with the Sith student Mekel on Korriban
     
    * the earliest point to recruit Mekel is in the Tomb of Tulak Hord
    * if you can't or don't want to recruit him right then, you can ask him to meet you later
    * Zaalbar's personal quest must be completed before Mekel can join the group; however, he will wait for you at a meeting-place on Korriban until you have finished everything
    * new Journal Entries!
    * new Dialog!
    * new Banter!
    * modified dialogs (if Mekel is in your party, he won't sound like Zaalbar)
    * new items (three quite powerful lightsabers and a robe; it depends on your behaviour how much items you will get from Mekel)
    * source scripts included

  16. Enhanced Sith Saber (English & German)

    This mod will replace the Sith Lightsaber you find on Korriban with a fully upgradable, uniquely skinned Sith Lightsaber with special properties. For this to work, you must not disturb the Sith Statue. Otherwise,you must start a new game.
    The original mod "Enhanced Sith Saber v. 1.0" belongs to Shimaon, but he quit modding for KotOR (at least until KotOR II) and gave me permission to continue his work. So here it is.
     

    I never used K1R, so I actually don't know if this mod is compatible with it or not. Just to be safe, I say no, until it's confirmed otherwise by someone.

  17. Prequel-Style Robes

    Well everybody the wait is officially OVER I just got this mod from Shem and I have to say I think you all will be really excited about it. These robes are the robes Shem uses in most of his pictures for PotD's of Kotor. These robes are all made to Custom specifiations of all of your party members, or at least the ones that are Jedi anyway. Here is a little quote from Shem's readme on how these robes are made for specific players...

    Now as you can see from the quote Shem put a lot of effort into these robes but not all of the effort was his. Prime made the base of the robes that are being used here. Shem also has made all of the PC's robes race related, which means that if you are playing as an African American PC the body texture will show the skin on the body as the color of the PC's head. These robes will also replace all of the original bioware robes to give you a good looking aresenal of cool robes. As a bonus Shem has also added a couple of really cool things to the game, but you are going to have to work to get them as they are being sold at Crattis Yurkal's shop on dantooine. If you don't know where that is just refer to the readme. So all I have to say is nice job Shem on the mod, it is always good to see one of my fellow modders make an awesome mod. Also Shem and I want to give personal thanks to the creator of the base of mod Prime for allowing Shem to add on such an awesome mod. I hope everybody loves this mod as much as I think you guys will, enjoy!

  18. Dantooine Training Lightsabers

    This mod replaces the longswords used during the training sequence with lightsabers, as it is seen in the movies that even younglings train with those.
    The mod uses no scripts and you don't have to give yourself the lightsaber proficiency feat with KSE or something similar. Additionally you won't have the annoying humming sound present when simply replacing the training saber with a lightsaber.
     
    Installation:
    Simply let TSL Patcher do its magic. It should find your KotOR installation automatically. If it doesn't and you have to select it manually, choose the folder that includes swkotor.exe. Do NOT delete the backup folder that is created during the installation, you'll need it if you ever want to uninstall this mod.
     
    Uninstallation:
    Delete dan13_practice.uti from your Override folder. Then copy baseitems.2da from the backup folder created while installing this mod to your Override and replace the one that is already there. Skip this step if you installed any mods that also alter baseitems.2da after this one. This mod will not be fully uninstalled in that case but every effect it has on the game will be gone as intended. If there is no baseitems.2da in your backup folder, simply delete the one in your Override folder (unless you installed another mod editing it later).

    Thanks to TSLPatcher this mod is compatible with everything that does not edit the training saber (dan13_practice.uti)

    description: For those of you who remember Star Wars pre-prequel, you might remember the old
    Dark Horse comics series 'Tales of the Jedi'. From this series one of my favorite characters
    was Sylvar, the Cathar. So when I found out that KOTOR had a Cathar I was psyched. Of course
    then I actually saw Juhani and I was quite dissapointed to find that she looked nothing like a
    Cathar should. She didn't even have any hair! This mod gives Juhani an actual cat like
    appearance (based more off of the 'Redemption' arc than the older ones) with a different nose, bigger ears, and a squatter, but (in my opinion) cuter face.
    I've also retextured her head so it looks a little bit nicer.
     
    installation: Extract contents of the zip file. Place the .mdl, .mdx, and .tga files into override (x:Program Files\LucasArts\SWKOTOR by default). Start KOTOR! How easy is that?!
     
    uninstallation (is that a word?): delete the .mdl, .mdx, and .tga files from the override.
     
    notes: This is my first ever mod and I would like to think that there are no problems with it. However, computers are computers and I'm sure someone will have a problem. If this is the case please email me and I'll look into figuring out the problem. However, since this is my first mod I don't really know what else I can do as my skills are all but nill. So, try redownloading and reinstalling and see if that works. Good luck, and have fun!

Eventually, I'll be doing all the sabers from the original trilogy and in fact I've started on a conversion to make the KOTOR characters look like the original cast. Leia's head and Luke's Bespin suit (coolest damn costume in all of Star Wars) are both done as far as modeling goes. It's those damn textures again!

    Well now this is a site for sore eyes, Shem the manager of this wonderful site has submitted to me a great looking mod that he should be very proud of. So have any of you guys lately ever though that maybe kotor was getting a little boring? Well this one will fix that, what is does is it makes 90% of the stores in Kotor 1 better. What I mean by that is they will now give you more useful items for your journey. This mod was inspired by Shem's thought of people who have mastered this game, they know how to get butt loads of credits but they really have nothing to spend them on. So this is where this one comes in.
     
    My personal opinion of this mod is it is great, the idea is really a winner. Making more useful merchants in the game allows for more poeple to actually have what they need when they get stuck between a Dark Jedi and a hard place. So all in all I say this is on of the most well crafted mods that I have seen in a while. So to you Shem great job I think you did a wonderful job! Now to all of the people I have to say download this mod if you want to have an overall better game...and as always...Enjoy!

  22. Jolee Turns Into a Yoda Species

    Ever since Yoda's introduction in The Empire Strikes Back the tiny green muppet has inspired thousands. His appearances in the prequel films solidified his fan following which spawned various spin offs, such as Yaddle or, as are probably more familiar with, Master Vandar.
     
    We were blessed to be given a Yoda-inspired model with Knights of the Old Republic, and your friendly neighborhood manager Shem was not about to give up an opportunity to expand this model's role within the game. This mod will change Jolee Bindo's appearance to that of Master Vandar, but with some modifications so it's not a direct copy of the pint-sized Jedi master. Only the appearance is changed, so you don't have to worry about losing Jolee's unique sense of humor and his wit.
     
    Shem was kind in the way he designed this mod so that if you want to uninstall it at any point, you won't need to do any fancy 2da editing to get good ol' Jolee back. Just delete the UTC files and you're set! It also makes use of the TSL Patcher for easy installation. This mod includes a very nicely made custom icon, a new color scheme for the Yoda model, and some differently-colored robes. It's a fun mod, so if you don't mind Jolee looking a little green I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!

  24. Sherruk - Attacks With Lightsabers

    Remember Sherruk? He was that Mandalorian on Dantooine with all the trophy sabers he bragged about. Yet when you had to fight him he used blasters/swords. I know "civilians" aren't trained to use lightsabers, but that never stopped anybody before! So why didn't Sherruk use those sabers, huh?! UGH!
     
    If you reacted in the above manner when you first played KotOR then you're in luck. Shem brings us a lovely mod that, while simple in concept, adds a new dimension to that part of Dantooine. Sherruk will now attack you with those trophy sabers, just like a good arrogant fool would. Apaprently Shem also didn't think a lightsaber collector would be caught dead with only two lightsabers. Where Grievous had four, Sherruk shows his prowess by having a whopping seven on his mangled body when you're done with him! Check his body for some other surprises that have been included!

  25. Robes for Korriban Sith Students

    Our benevolent overlord returns with an interesting addition to the planet Korriban. Remember the Sith Academy? Of course you do; it was in both games. Well, it's only in the first Knights of the Old Republic game that you get to become a student of the academy, and more importantly (at least for this mod), meet other students. Currently, all of the students of the academy wear those uniforms that Sith officers wear. It's a little odd, because they're not supposed to be just normal Sith officers, but Dark Jedi. Even the two masters of the academy, Uthar Wyn and Yuthura Ban, wear regular uniforms.
     
    So Shem has decided to give all of the students Dark Jedi robes. It's a nice addition, I think, and it means you might get a few extra robes for your party, and a few other nice items. But I'll explain that later. In addition to having robes, some of the NPCs' appearances have been altered, to avoid repetition. Also, Master Uthar and his former master, Jorak Uln, each wear special armor.
     
    Now, as if that wasn't enough, there are a few surprises here and there. But if you haven't played the game yet, you might want to stop reading.
     
    The main objective for Korriban is to find the Star Map in the Tomb of Naga Sadow. To get to that tomb, you have to gain enough prestige to be chosen to take the final trials. As I alluded to above, you'll be able to take some those Dark Jedi robes from for yourself; that's because you'll have the opportunity to terminate hostilities with some of your competition before you enter the tomb, and again afterwards.
     
    There are several different endings for Korriban, depending on your choices in the Tomb of Naga Sadow. For best results (i.e. to get the most items) you should kill both Uthar and Yuthura. This will throw the Sith academy into a rebellion, and all of the students and teachers will become hostile. This is both a light side and dark side option, so you don't have to worry about that. But if you want some extra LS points, befriending Yuthura and helping her kill Uthar, then bringing her back to the light will get the same results, though you won't get any of Yuthura's items.
     
    OK, you can keep reading now if you stopped before.
     
    This mod utilizes the TSL patcher to make the necessary appearance.2da changes, and there is an extra file included that will make the mod compatible with T7nowehere's Weapons of the Old Republic, for those of you who have that mod. The mod is also compatible with Prime's Jedi Model mod, so no worries if you have that as well. Enjoy the new Sith academy!
