  11. Skyboxes I had a thought on skyboxes. Logos for corporate entities should be on the buildings - signage with few words designed to be seen from a long distance away. ] For example, do you see the H&M logo and the MetLife logo? How complicated are they? The blue square - that's a CitiBank logo I believe and I only know that because I know the corporate colors. The lesson here: Rooftop logos should be very simple and they don't need to be animated either. Now - what about the street level advertisements? Close up near the player, logos in advertisements should only a very small part of it. Think of any billboard advertising something on the street or along the side of the road and think about what percentage of the billboard that the logo takes up in that space. For example . . . and . . . How much real estate in the bill board does the Star Wars: TFA logo take up? And in the McDonald's Logo? It's quite small by comparison. Just some food for thought for any advertising signage you might wind up making.

  13. 1) Why not show a before and after for your next set of pictures? 2) Why do you use Arabic numerals and have signs in English? I recommend using either "Auretech: Technumbers (regular Capitals) or "Auretech Inversed: Tech numbers (Inversed Capitals)" which can be found in this download link.
  14. Assuming you likely have a smart phone, you might want to both add security to your account and add some 100 extra Cartel Credits (per month) as well by adding a Security Key to your account. Read about that here.

  18. This one is a little different. I decided to use the character as rendered in the game rather than using an extracted head. I used a slightly altered version of Darth Sapiens' HD T3-M4 skin for this. There's only nine frames in a loop so the animation is a little jerky.

  20. I didn't bother to animate mine. I put it in the background of my Disciple portrait (see blog #35). It was a slight upgrade but not enough to release it.
  21. Not sure that I'll bother doing animations of the droids or Mandalore as they wouldn't have dark side corruption to show. Although, I suppose I could go from Mandalore with and without helmet if I had both heads.
  22. I've tried to have the portraits either match near where I've originally found them (as seen in most of them) or where (I feel) their natural place is (see Atton). KotOR1 portraits would likely follow the same pattern, if I can get someone to extract the heads for me. Decided to see what DP's concept would look like with the background so I made one quickly.
  23. In the evil Atris model I used, I dislike the head gear but like the rest of the robe. I wonder what the model might look like with her normal head replacing the wicked queen head (but retaining the darker lipstick.) In addition, don't the eyes and lips seem to change between the models?
