  1. Original review from FileFront "Time flies when you’re having fun and let’s face it. The Knights of the Old Republic games have been around for a good number of years. The original Knights of the Old Republic is about to have its four year anniversary. Can you believe it? The sequel, Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is about to have its two and half year anniversary. Those numbers seem big, but yet it doesn’t seem that long ago these games were released. Anyway, as time goes on and we keep playing our Knights of the Old Republic games, it tends to get easier and easier to play. We keep playing them because of the good storylines and being a Jedi or a Sith, using Force Powers, and building a lightsaber is just cool. Sometimes we need new challenges when playing our favorite games, wouldn’t you agree? Darth Shan is back with another mod that gives you the options to increase the game difficulty level for both Knights of the Old Republic games. This mod is meant for advanced users. If you’re new to playing these games as some of you are I’ve noticed, I would make sure you’ve learned all the skills you can before trying this mod or you’re going to be very frustrated with it. Hopefully this mod will breathe new life into wanting to play them again for those who are bored of it, but lurk around here seeing what’s new. Well, this is new, so give it a shot. As mentioned in the last paragraph that this is for both Knights of the Old Republic games and there are folders that are labeled which games they belong to, so make sure you install the right files for the right game in order to keep your games functioning properly. Get ready for a new challenge. Enjoy the mod advanced users! Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future. -Shem"
  2. The original review at FileFront for this mod "Darth Shan brings us an update to his Story Mod for SW:KotOR II: TSL. This mod adds a lot of content after you defeat Darth Nihilus, including a few visions, and a whole load of new dialogue. Darth Shan felt that the last version was a little 'messy', and so here is the cleaned-up version. In it, we get enhancements on the previous version - the largest probably being the complete overhaul of the first vision, and the 'clean-up' of the second. Other features included in previous versions are not having to recruit the Disciple if you don't have the Handmaiden, some adjustment to the cutscenes of the Handmaiden's sisters, the ability to sacrifice Visas for nearly any excuse ( ) and the HK-Remote-G0-T0 conversation on Malachor V. The author does warn us of one or two bugs with the mod, however. First of all, attempting to use the Party Selection screen on Malachor V with this mod will make your game crash to the desktop. However, Darth Shan has been unable to find the cause, and suspects it is something coded into the game's .exe file, and advises you to ignore this option if it comes up, and continue with the game. Since you can't use any of your party on Malachor anyway, (aside from the Remote ) there wouldn't be much point in trying to use the party selection screen in any case. Second, Darth Shan has not been able to fix the issue with Carth showing up instead of Admiral Cede around 50% of the time for Dark Side run-throughs. Third, the author has encountered some issues of difficulty balance on Malachor. Neither of these last two should cause crashes or other problems, however. Darth Shan has also decided not to use the TSLPatcher, but has ensured compatibility with the following mods: - The Ultimate Sabre Mod (USM) - Coruscant Jedi Temple - Azgath N'Dul's Tomb - The Dark Apprentice - Droid Factory Reconstructed - (his) Droid Planet Mod. (NOT the M4-78 Enhancement Project) Please note: For reasons of compatibility, if you are to use any of the above mods, with the exception of the Droid Planet Mod, they should be installed before this one. The Droid Planet Mod, however, must be installed after this one for compatibility. -Darth InSidious"
  3. If all goes well, we may be having some other old school mods returning to Deadly Stream - with the author's permission.

I can get Seikans armor of the old republic and his Mandalorian armors posted? I speak to the author. Although I believe he wants to come back and better them but I'll ask.

Djh: Why not ask him to upload them himself, then he can update the mods at his own pace?

  4. It's a reskin not restored content. But once it is.done, it should be uploaded.
  5. Is it just me or does anyone else see a hat in this portion of the texture?
  6. "The property of FileFront" and not the property of NexusMods. The question I implied was "Couldn't the reviewers request they remove those reviewers in much the same way the modders could request the mods to be removed?"
  7. In addition to the mods, I don't see how they can explain using the original mod descriptions as well. I would think that the official mod reviewers (Shem, Emperor Devon, Marius Fett, et al) would have a right to complain as well.
  8. Working on getting some video for you so everyone can see. I will update this post when it's ready.
  9. Seeing as the picture wasn't showing up in my post, I can imagine there being some confusion. I've changed the link so it shows up now.
  10. I'm not sure what a voice actor has to do with changing text.
  11. Thanks to permissions granted by Dak Drexl (and from mods archived by LDR), added several mods to DS. Thanks to Milestails, assigned correct ownership of a few Dak's mods lost from a previous site hiccup. :)

I miss seeing Dak around. Good times. Glad to see his work is back though!

  12. You could post it as a beta. Alternatively, you could make a YouTube video to show it off?
  13. My only hope is that you keep the change list from the previous versions in there too.
  14. I have a few things I could suggest. As regards to animations, there are two spots I think - more so than the buttons - that would benefit from animation. If there blue sphere rotated and the color sliders moved, that would be interesting. And the second animation suggestion . . . Having the orange - yellow - orange section move from one to the other. If it looped going in both directions, it could even resemble the Knight Rider car or a Cylon. Like this . . . The last thing I'd say is perhaps have the metal portions match the structural quality of its surroundings. Compared to the background and other computers, the console looks brand new. Perhaps aging it up might not be a bad plan?
  15. I don't suppose any of us has been in touch with Allronix lately?

  16. I like where this texture is going, ndix UR. Thanks! I haven't converted the file to a TGA and tested it in game but working from memory, it seems to be a good HD match to the original. I am curious to see it with the noising - and as DP suggested, with possibly some meshes to add glows to the buttons and the monitor screen.
  17. If it was only a matter of copying the texture from K1 - for personal use only, of course - then it wouldn't be a issue. I should have figured it wouldn't be that easy. Thanks anyway, DP.
  18. Is that computer (and a accompanying texture) present in K1?
  19. He was found the next day (the 15th) and at that last report, was returned to his own home.
  20. See the shiny stuff I got from LF in my Blog #34. (Thanks SS!)

  21. Just got this Thanks Sithspecter!
  22. Ah ha. Found the reference. I still can't use it now though so my request still stands.
