    Yeah GTN search can get frustrating. It's basically ebay for SWTOR. Yeah I agree it's too bad about modded textures. But on the other hand, they have some really great armors that they have made... although of course available for credits or Cartel coins :/ For instance, I've always wanted to see an accurate Ulic-Qel Droma armor, Gav and Jori Daragon, Freedon Nadd, Marka Ragnos, stuff that would be quite difficult to do as mods

    I don't know, but I agree that it is annoying and off-putting. I generally won't wear those armors at all. Is your search too generic maybe? Perhaps not searching for the right things? Try searching for Darth Revan in the box, and you should get a ton of results. I wasn't aware that companion influence made much of a difference at all. I guess I haven't really paid much attention to it. I just do whatever I do in conversations, gain influence with Kira and then talk to her later ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    New semester, final class. After this, I definitely have time for Duplisaber... but in the meantime, I wonder if this class will be brainless enough that I can zone out and work on other things? Guess we'll see...

    Might be the best it's going to get without changing lightsaber model animations. There is a mod already that makes black core blades on lightsabers, but it's not a completely ideal solution, of course. The most ideal solution would be to have some sort of subtractive blending on the black core, while keeping the blade color as additive. Of course, TSL only supports additive blending, so that's a problem.

    Yep. First mod. I only had an Xbox at the time so it was super hard to even get a screenshot of what the mod did. Back then, KOTORFiles would reject any mods that did not have at least one screen shot.

    That's a question for Aspyr or Obsidian, but I would conjecture that it's because the game is hard coded to include deflecting animations for those specific lightsaber rows from baseitems.2da No. The sounds are configured through baseitems.2da. Maybe there's a way to configure the lightsaber hum through the model, but as of today, no one has figured out how to do this.

    Yes, it is possible, but none of those items will be able to deflect blaster bolts, at least animation-wise. I would need to double-check to confirm whether the bonuses still apply. From what I recall, that is the only downside to adding new baseitems.2da entries

    Heck, even the story missions feel like they take forever. I pretty much will only do Heroics, Story Missions or FlashPoints

    What's a good web hosting service? I had to make a website for a class, and while it sucked having to make it, I sort of like the finished product, so I want to throw it up somewhere. Any ideas?

      Can't see anything obvious, but "free" always rings alarm bells to me. Personally I'd prefer to find some cheap paid hosting and be confident the service is good. Of course you probably are only going to get an empty VPS for what most people consider cheap, so there would be extra work involved in the setup.

      Meh vp made it sound like it's not a super serious thing but rather just a side project, no need to spend money on something like that when free will get the job done just fine

      Sure. I was just stating my personal preference. If uptime and reliability are not high on the agenda, and especially if you don't actually need/want direct server access, $0 is hard to pass up.

    Well, this looks like utter garbage. Looks like we'll be getting the same plot as A New Hope AGAIN. At least they aren't pretending to be original anymore by having another Death Star-like space station again. No, it literally just IS the Death Star this time. I can't wait for more cringe-worthy, shoehorned references to the original trilogy! /sarcasm

    Yeah, it must be the cubemap. Is that supposed to be the reflection, or is that what's supposed to be on the other side of the window? The painting idea would probably require some hex editing, which perhaps is best to avoid for this round. I still do personally like the idea and I might potentially pursue it.
