Cool episode, Xuul and SH! I wish there was something to break up that long monologue, though, as it gets a bit tiresome to listen to one voice for an extended period of time.

Yeah, I was just missing one of the files (the Sound patch, which contains a lot of re-done lines).

See, this is why I'm glad I keep all the mods I've downloaded over these past 3 years... even though they take up about 20 or so GBs on my PC, haha.

@Xuul It seems they've changed their site, when I first visited under the heading "is it legal?" I swear it said they had permission from disney...

They never said that on their site, they simply said something along the lines of "this is legal since we aren't charging money for it" - they since reworded that section to say "Is this legal?" "WE BELIEVE SO"

If they wanted to be legit about it, they should have contacted Disney/Lucasfilm before putting anything close to the statement "WE BELIEVE SO" on their website. That looks so sketchy.

I actually have an entire process I put the audio through right now that involves a decent amount of processing. This might end up just sabing me a bunch of time

@SH I might end up doing that now. I downloaded a demo, it was really cool and worked nativly with my editing program so it saved time. I have now heard myself say the same 3 line over and over and its hard to tell if it sounds normal

I found it's hard to look at some details when you were pointing to contents that are located on the left side of the screen because they were covered by the chat's stream.

since i started modding last year i hadnt time to play games at all...

After reinstalling the game I cant find the strength to reinstall all the mods.

I always feel like if I start playing, an update will come to an installed mod or some new mod will come out that will require restarting. Thus I am perpetually stuck in not playing land.

What is the update?

Informative: I plan to play with my copy of 10 on a separate partition. My internet is too slow to redownload things like TOR, STO, SC2, etc.

Response: Rece, almost anything is better than Windows. More folks are looking into Linux because of Win10.

Rece, as someone who actually has to use Mac OS X week-in, week-out for school or other production work, I gotta say that still the best OS on earth is Windows 7. PM me if you want in depth explanation as to why.

sad thing is if the company that offers the app is big enough, they might try to sue you for infringment even if you had the handle first. which i think it idiotic. so hopefully they never find your youtube videos or make a big deal of it.

Actually, it might just be that you didn't load a savegame from before entering the area the first time. That's probably the reason, I was just asking in case there's a bug.

@Kex That would probably be the case. I don't actually have a good set of savegames for Kotor 1 (since eons ago when my LP stopped after my HDD failure.

You can always use cheats to load an area up fresh, especially if just to showcase it's skybox.

More writing out what I want to say, planning the videos in more detail. On one side qualiy will improve somewhat but I am not sure if it worth the time tradeoff (not to mention there are people who hate scripted stuff)

Try one out and gauge from the reaction your next move.

Suggestion: If you decide to do a scripted video, it's best to do an outline rather than a word for word. The outline should have the main ideas of what you want to say to keep you on track while allowing you to talk freely.
