  1. Playable Wookiees x5

This mod will add a three playable male wookiees and two playable female wookiees. It includes portraits, 7 changes of clothes, 1 armor, and 4 jedi robes for each male, and 3 changes of clothes, and 4 jedi robes for each female. The models that the mod uses, are Zaalbar and N_WookieF.

There is also Photoshop files for fellow modders who want to create new armor and clothes skins. The big one is the jedi robes, just remember to change the alpha 1 channel. The female robes are smoother looking than the male versions, due to the smoothness of the model.

To complete the effect, so that your PC will sound like a wookiee, use the Kotor Savegame Editor (KSE) to change the soundset to Zaalbar's.

The only problems that I know of, are
1 - When starting a new game, if the Wookiee shows up in the "Choose Your Class" screen, it is best to NOT pick the Wookiee. Eigther choose a non-Wookiee, or Cancel, then re-start a new game. Picking a single unit model (one that isn't a separate head and body) will cause the game to crash.
2 - The left hand of the N_WookieF model is messed up. I don't yet know how to fix it. Perhaps in the future I will be able to add a fixed mdl and mdx. As it is, weapons will float on the back of the hand, and cutscenes will show the hand squished behind her back.
3 - During the cutscene where Revan removes his mask, he will appear invisible.
4 - When using the disguises (Sith uniform, Sand Person, underwater & space suits etc), the Wookiee will seem to shrink, because those disguise models are the size of a normal human.
5 - Everyone, including all the Wookiees on Kashyyk, will still refer to you as a human. It would require editing EVERY piece of dialog in the game to fix it, and that is TOO much.

  2. Specialized Combat Suits HD K1

    Specialized Combat Suits HD
    for Kotor
    by
    RedRob41

    ================================================================

IF YOU ARE EVER IN ANY DOUBT ABOUT INSTALLING ANY MODS, PLEASE REMEMBER TO ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR FILES BEFORE INSTALLATION, JUST IN CASE.
WARNING: MAKE SURE NOT TO REPLACE ANY FILES OF THE SAME NAME THAT ARE ALREADY PRESENT IN YOUR OVERRIDE FOLDER!

    ================================================================

Description: This is not really a mod, but more of a modder's resource. It includes textures for the basic Combat Suit PFBC and PMBC, as well as icons and uti files to make them wearable. Anyone who has created a story mod for either game can use these suits to add some variety to the NPCs that the player interacts with. I have also included models in which I have fixed the uvw maps, so that the textures appear correctly (the original models had some polygons in the wrong places). The new models should work with any other texture mods, since they work perfectly with the in-game ones.
The armour class is the same as the basic Combat Suit, so there isn't any real advantage to wearing them as a player. The real power of these files, is that a modder can create a whole army with both male and female members (and using any head model for NPC variety).
The textures were made from original textures that appear in both games, so there is no issue of porting.
There will be three versions of this mod to choose to download:
1 - 4x .tga version. Highest resolution, the typical texture is now 2048x2048 pixels which = 16MB. This version is the best choice to use as a modder's resource.
2 - 4x .tpc version. Created by running full size .tgas through tga2tpc program which compresses a 2048x2048 pixel file to 5.5MB. This version should be easier on PC systems, with no noticeable loss of visual fidelity.
3 - 2x .tpc version. Created by reducing full size .tgas by half in Photoshop, then running them through tga2tpc which further compresses them to 1.4MB. This version should be much easier on PC systems.
All versions include the same .mdl & .mdx files. Only one version should be installed at a time; having both .tga files and .tpc files with the same name in the Override folder may cause problems.

    ================================================================

Compatibility: The male models PMBCx are duplicates of the models found in the mod called 4x Upscale+ Character Textures & Model Fixes for KotOR - Version 0.52 by RedRob41. The female models PFBCx in this mod have had additional uvw fixes since the V0.52 mod, and are therefore superior.
The models aren't necessary, but the new textures will look much better with them. If you have other mods that change the models, you might prefer to use those ones. Check them out to be sure which you'd prefer.

Directions: Please copy all files to the game's Override directory.
K1 uti files: These are necessary in order to wear the armours in-game. The name of the uti file is what you would use to cheat them in with the cheat console, example: giveitem g_a_class4042 will give your player the Republic Combat suit.

  4. Darth Talon Pack [1K]

    Darth Talon Pack [1K]
A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Author: Bullobrien, 90SK and N-DReW25
    1.1.0 Release Date: 19.01.2022
    Installation:
Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe, select your option, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic.
    Uninstallation:
Depends on what you've chosen to install.
Copy the files within the generated "backup" folder and place the file inside your modules folder, make sure you overwrite.
    Description:
    * Late 2006, Levi Davis (aka nineball) released the first Darth Talon mod for K2 as a playable head for females.
    * In 2007, Prime released his Darth Talon mod which replaced Yuthura Ban with Darth Talon.
    * In 2008, DarthParametric released his Darth Talon mod which replaced Mission Vao with Darth Talon.
From about 2009, a third modder named Bullobrien began his own Darth Talon mod; completing the final texture in 2011. But, he was unable to properly setup the TSLPatcher or the associated 2da files and
so he passed on the files to a modder named 90SK sometime between 2012-2015 and gave him permission to complete the project. In 2021, a decade since the texture was made, with collaboration with N-DReW25,
the fourth Darth Talon mod was born.
    * Some of you new to Star Wars might be thinking "Who is Darth Talon?"
Darth Talon was from the, now Legends, Star Wars: Legacy comic series. Darth Talon was a member of Darth Krayt's new Sith Order around 137 ABY, she is famous in the Star Wars Community as being the red Twi'lek with black Sith tattoos covering her body, head, and lekku; in a similar design to Darth Maul.
She was trained by a fellow Twi'lek Sith named Darth Ruyn, whom she later killed on Krayt's command with a decapitating strike of her lightsaber.
    * What does this mod do??
Option 1) Darth Talon Player Head: Adds a playable female head in the form of Darth Talon, replaces the player's underwear and clothing to Darth Talon's attire.
Option 2) Mission Vao as Darth Talon: Replaces Mission Vao's appearance with Darth Talon, gives her two red Short Lightsabers, makes her 25% Dark Side, changed her class to a Jedi Sentinel and gives her a handfull of basic Force powers, nothing else is changed.
Option 3) Yuthura Ban as Darth Talon: Replaces Yuthura Ban's appearance with Darth Talon, replaces Yuthura's Sith Officer's outfit with Darth Talon's attire.
All textures are in 1K resolution, providing the most high detailed Darth Talon mod to date in a Kotor mod.

  7. TOR Inspired Sith Soldiers

    TOR Inspired Sith Soldiers
A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic and Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2
    Author: N-DReW25
    1.1.0 Release Date: 15.05.2026

    Installation:
This mod comes in two versions which each version having three sub-versions.
The two versions are the "Normal Version" which is the default texture resolution and the "HD Version" which is the high quality texture resolution version.
Inside both folders, these three sub-versions exist for both the Normal and the HD Version.
The TOR Logo version: Adds TOR inspired Sith Soldiers with the logo of the TOR era Sith Empire on their shoulders.
The Kotor Logo version: Adds TOR inspired Sith Soldiers with the logo of the Kotor era Sith Empire on their shoulders.
The No Logo version: Adds TOR inspired Sith Soldiers without no logos on their shoulders.
Select which version you want and copy "N_SithSoldier01.tga" and "N_SithSoldier02.tga" into your Override folder. Delete the files "N_SithSoldier01.tpc" and "N_SithSoldier02.tpc" if they exist in your Override.

    Uninstallation:
Delete the "N_SithSoldier01.tga" and "N_SithSoldier02.tga" files from your Override folder.

    Description:
The idea for this mod came from the Revenge of Revan mod. In the hypothetical event that the plot of ROR has the Player confront the Sith Empire from TOR 300 years prior to their major appearance in TOR, I would need to create enemies for the player to fight. For ROR's Imperial Soldiers, I had two options - port the Imperial Soldiers from the TOR MMO, or make my own Imperial Soldiers. By reskinning the Kotor Sith Soldiers to resemble Imperial Soldiers, I have both made a convincing enemy for the Player to fight and did so in the laziest way possible.
In the ROR mod, should these Imperial Soldier skins be used for enemies, the lore reason as to why they resemble Sith Soldiers is that, like how Revan duplicated the Leviathan ship via the Star Forge, he duplicated Kotor-era Imperial Soldier armor via the Star Forge which would produce white Imperial Soldier armor which is what the Sith Soldiers wore in Kotor. This excuse can be used as we don't know exactly where and/or how Revan designed the Sith Soldier armor - the Rakatans certainly didn't as they don't have Human proportions. And as to why the Imperial Soldiers in TOR don't resemble the ROR Imperial Soldiers, like how Phase I Clone Trooper Armor evolved into Phase II Clone Trooper Armor, the ROR Imperial Soldier Armor design would evolve into the TOR Imperial Soldier Armor design within the next 300 years.
I decided to release these skins to the public as any appearance of actual Sith Empire forces would take years of ROR development to reach that point, if they even appear at all, so why should these cool skins go to waste rotting on my hard drive when you might want to use them in your Kotor game instead.

    Known Bugs:
This mod shouldn't have bugs but if you find any please report them to me on Deadlystream.

    Incompatibilities:
Would be incompatible with any mods which modify "N_SithSoldier01.tga" and "N_SithSoldier02.tga" or add "N_SithSoldier01.tpc" and "N_SithSoldier02.tpc".
This mod is fully compatible with Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords.

    Permissions:
Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission.

    Thanks to:
Bioware: For such an amazing game and for making The Old Republic which inspired this mod!
Sith Holocron: For upscaling my textures!

  8. Heyorange's Sith Uniform Reformation [Revised]

    Heyorange's Sith Uniform Reformation (Revised)
A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Original Author: Heyorange (aka Pataschka)
Upscales and Tweaks by Sith Holocron (with assistance)

    Note from Sith Holocron:
You may be familiar with HeyOrange’s Sith Uniform Reformation mod.  This a revised version of that mod. This mod aims to not have the same method of dropping a swath of UTC files in your Override which makes for compatibility nightmares. The intention is for this mod to handle this integration through module injection.
    DESCRIPTION:
    Regarding the textures:
This mod upscales the original mod’s textures to 4 times their original size.  After that was done, I’ve tweaked the individual textures to add (or readd) detail that was either missing or misinterpreted by the upscaling AI. This includes adding detail where applicable such as:
    ·         New gold or silver braids by the zippers and the sleeves on certain officer uniforms
    ·         New rank bars on the chest, sleeve and pauldrons
    ·         New PIPs and rank symbols for those rank bars
    ·         New replacement pockets for both the male and female blouses.  Some with brand new code cylinders in those pockets, some without.  (Some of the original textures had empty pockets and I’ve kept those empty as HeyOrange did)
    ·         Readded fresh versions of the Regiment Insignia on the pauldrons and blouse pockets
    ·         New collar devices to replace the old ones
    ·         Clean up on some of the trouser stripes that were muddled during the AI upscale
    ·         New buttons to replace the drawn-on ones on ammo pouches
    ·         New eyes for the Sith Officers male and female heads
    ·         New bandage (by Malkior) for Major Hurka texture
The mod includes four install options labeled as:
    1.      Basic Installation
    2.      KOTOR Community Patch-Compatible Installation
    3.      Extra: Sith Students + Czerka on Korriban Fix
    4.      Extra: KOTOR 1 Restoration Fix
Option #1 is the base install, which contains all of the textures included in the original mod by HeyOrange with my upscales and edits, in addition to edits to N_SithComF02, N_SithComF03, N_SithComM02 and N_SithComM03, which are variants of Sith enlisted textures which heyorange’s original mod did not edit. This version also removes some edits heyorange made to Sith stats, gear and loot, reverting them to vanilla.
Option #2 is a Community Patch-compatible version of the same above install.
Option #3 is an add-on which includes a reskin of the standard uniform for Sith students on Korriban which also fixes Czerka workers on Korriban so they wear correct uniforms. Do not choose this option if you are using another mod which makes similar changes, such as Korriban: Back in Black!
Option #4 is an add-on for the KOTOR 1 Restoration (or other mods that restore Major Hurka) providing her with a unique uniform.

    INSTALLATION:
If intending to use the Community Patch-compatible mod version, please ensure the K1CP is installed first before proceeding with this installation.
Select whichever of the two base installs fit your needs (Option #1, or option #2 for K1CP compatibility), run the installer and select the chosen option and hit install. Point the installer to your game’s main directory (where the executable is located) and you’re done!
If you wish to use option #3 or option #4, you will need to re-run the installer and select those options after applying the main install. The rest of the install process is the same.

    CREDITS:
To Snigaroo: For suggesting this project in the first place and for consistent feedback throughout the project, as well as writing parts of this readme.
To JCarter426: For both setting up the TSLPatcher install to make this mod possible.
To Malkior: For the new bandages on the Major Hurka texture in the K1R folder.
To Fair Strides: For consistent feedback throughout the project.
To Effix: Effix did provide me with some work on textures pre-upscaling at the start of this project but I wound up not using his work.  However, it seemed appropriate to thank them for their help. Thanks, Effix!

The following is the read-me from the original mod excluding the installation instructions as this version of the mod will be handled differently in that aspect.

  13. Sexy Female Companions Pack (Abridged)

    Sexy Female Companions Pack (Abridged)

THIS IS AN ABRIDGED MOD. The full mod contains additional underwear options for all female companions.
The full version of the mod is on Nexusmods under the name "Sexy Female Companions Pack".

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sexy Clothing and Underwear Retexture Pack for Female Companions Bastila Mission and Juhani

    Description:
This mod provides sexy retextures for the female companions in kotor; Bastila, Mission, and Juhani.
There are multiple clothing and underwear options for each character.

    Installation:
Navigate to the desired texture through the folders and put the .tga file in your kotor Override folder

    Unistallation:
Delete the corresponding files from your kotor Override folder

    Compatibility:
Naturally this mod cannot be used at the same time as another retexture of the same clothing or underwear.
Also, it may not work with any mod which enhances the associated models (I do not know of any).
Otherwise there should not be any issues unless there is a mod which I am unaware of which changes the
"appearance.2da" file in such a way that an associated model or texture is different from the original game.

    Permissions
Please do not use or upload this mod elsewhere without permission, which will probably be given if asked
I can be contacted through DeadlyStream or NexusMods. My username for both is limpingfox.

I recommend using this mod here and choosing one of the recolored variants of Carth's Clothing to go with his newly Glammed face!

  19. BoSSR addon for K1 Movie-Style Jedi Master Robes 1.1.0 by N-DReW25

Textures for Jedi robes for "Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge 1.5", you need this expansion for this modification to work.
Also, you need "JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1 1.4" and "K1 Movie-Style Jedi Master Robes 1.1.0" installed to work.

    Installation:
Copy this mod's files to your Override folder with replace. Don't forget to delete the .txi files of the same name from your Override folder.

I haven't tested how this will work in-game yet, but since you'll be replacing the vanilla Jedi robes from the two mods mentioned above, it should work fine.

  20. 4x Upscale+ Character Textures & Model Fixes

    ================================================================

IF YOU ARE EVER IN ANY DOUBT ABOUT INSTALLING ANY MODS, PLEASE REMEMBER TO ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR FILES BEFORE INSTALLATION, JUST IN CASE.

    ================================================================

    Description:
This mod is more than just a simple process of running all the character textures through an A.I. upscaling program. The purpose is to increase the size and fidelity of the character textures while maintaining the painterly style of the original game artists. This mod does not attempt to create photo realistic textures or add extra detail (like zippers, clothing stitches, fabric patterns, skin pores, etc) that are not already part of the existing style. This mod also fixes many of the UVW mapping errors, lighting errors, and some XYZ errors that the original model .mdl & .mdx files may have had.
    The process followed is generally:
run texture files through A.I. upscaling program multiple times using different settings. Some settings result in "crunchy" textures (high contrast, sharp edges). Some result in "soft" textures (smooth gradients, lower contrast, blurry edges). Some result in better straight/parallel lines. Early tests used Vance AI; Deep Image; ImageUpscaler; or Let's Enhance. Eventually Topaz Labs' Gigapixel AI was chosen and used on the majority of textures. combine textures in multi layered Photoshop file, using layer masks to isolate the best parts of each upscaled image. This allows for some portions to be smooth (like skin, glass, metal or tubing), others to be sharp (like burlap, skin folds, hair, scratches, etc). touch up by manually painting away errors (such as jaggies due to original low resolution jpeg compression). manually recolor areas that the original artists missed (like commoner clothes where the pants seat do not match the pant leg; or player armors where pouches are inconsistent between male & female; etc). strategically add painted detail (such as highlights and shadows along the shoulders and neck of Player Character soldier's underwear; adding glove details to armors F, G, H, I, J; etc). painting personal choices (like changing P_BastilaBA02 to have different pants and remove wrist & neck restraints than P_BastilaBAS01 slave outfit). recreating entire textures (such as Player Character male scoundrel dark side underwear PMBASD01). fix the models' UVW maps to reduce some texture stretching (like collar of TSL robes I); adjust areas that are poorly mapped to the wrong locations or too large/small (such as PFBD collar); fix edge seams from one area to another; close gaps (like Mission's arms). manually fix texture seams by copying small areas of the image from one area to another; stretching and scaling them. This should result in model seams that are hidden or difficult to notice.  sometimes the Alpha 1 channel is upscaled, but usually it is recreated directly from the final HD color texture.  personal choice to add punchthrough transparency to the Alpha 1 channels of some female head models' eyelashes (like P_BastilaH04). recreate the Normal map (for bumpyshiny effects) from the final HD color texture. These work best when saved as .tpc format
For most models, they only needed to be manipulated in 3DS Max, exported, and then run through Taina's replacer. This is usually sufficient to fix any XYZ and/or UVW coordinates. I prefer Taina's replacer method so that the model retains its smoothing groups data. For some models (like C_RancorS or C_Terantanak), Taina's won't work, so for those files, I had to resort to manually hex editing the binary .mdl & .mdx files. This is a much more labourious process, but in the end I got them to work.
A few models required fixing the model weights of individual verticies. This was done to reduce portions of the model clipping through other parts in different animations. Again, this was done by manually hex editing.
For many head models, the UVW coordinates for the tongue and inside of mouth may be moved significantly, especially for the KotOR heads. This is because the originals often map the tongue to a single pixel located in the lips area, which results in almost no detail. By moving the UVW to a free area of the texture, there may be room for painting a detailed tongue.
For the party members that have specific underwear textures and basic clothing textures, there has been an effort to make any skin areas (like hands & arms) match between them. Usually the hand area from the underwear texture is copied to the hand area of the clothes texture. This creates more consistency of the party characters' appearance.
For low resolution versions of models (like C_Gammorean_Low, C_Protocol_Low, N_Swoopgang_low) or placeables (such as PLC_EndPlA, PLC_RakatCrp, Stunt_WarDrd01) the original textures were not simply upscaled. Instead, the new versions were actually taken from similar high resolution versions and scaled down. Sometimes the textures were rebuilt from parts of other higher resolution images, with some touch up painting.
Included is a spreadsheet labelled "KotOR upscale completed list v0_52.xlsx" which has more detailed information as to what files were changed, and in what ways. As of this update, 52.71% of the texture files that I intend to upscale have been completed. As such, this mod should be considered a beta test. The percentage is calculated for both games together, however the mod is released with files separated for K1 & TSL. The spreadsheet was created with Google Sheets and exported as .xlsx, so hopefully the formatting remains correct. I have also attached a copy of the spreadsheet to this mod thread.
There will be three versions of this mod to choose to download:
4x .tga version. Highest resolution, the typical texture is now 2048x2048 pixels which = 16MB. This version is a total 5.2GB, hopefully it isn't too large or cause problems for some PCs. This version is also the best choice to use as a modder's resource. 4x .tpc version. Created by running full size .tgas through tga2tpc program which compresses a 2048x2048 pixel file to 5.5MB. This version is a total of 1.8GB, so it should be easier on PC systems, with no noticeable loss of visual fidelity. 2x .tpc version. Created by reducing full size .tgas by half in Photoshop, then running them through tga2tpc which further compresses them to 1.4MB. This version is a total of 530MB, which should be much easier on PC systems. All versions include the same .mdl & .mdx files.
I have tested the .tga version exclusively, but have not tested the .tpc versions in-game. Please let me know if there are any issues. Most of the screenshots have been taken in TSL, because I find that it renders the characters better and has higher resolution screen grabs. My computer doesn't seem to render some of the CM shader effects properly (especially the bumpyshinytexture CM_SpecMap always seems too strong on my computer). I would appreciate any in-game screen shots that you take of characters like Hutts, Rakghouls, Rakata, or Selkath so that I can compare how other computers render their shader.

    ================================================================

    Compatiblity:
For best results, the model and texture files included with this mod should be used together. In most cases, the models can be mixed and matched with textures from other mods, but results will vary. For instance, the other textures won't be as perfect along the seams. Some other photo realistic HD texture mods may have been created using the original model's UVW layout, which will not perfectly line up with this mod's corrected UVW maps.
Conflicts may also occur if there is another mod uses a .tpc file with the same name as one of this mod's .tga files (or vice versa if you install one of the .tpc versions).
I would suggest installing other large mods (such as "KotOR 1 Restoration" or "KOTOR 1 Community Patch") first, then this one.

    ================================================================

    Installation:
Copy and paste the desired model and texture files into KotOR's Override folder. You may need to over write any existing files, so always have a backup. An effort was made that these textures and models require no 2da editing.
The folder marked "Reference Normal Map" is not required to be copied to the Override forlder. These .tga files are simply a modders' resource. The normal maps seem to work best if they are saved in .tpc format. The "Copy contents to Override" folder should already have .tpc files in it for the normal maps.

    ================================================================

    Uninstall:
Delete unwanted files from the game's Override folder.

  23. Tulak Hord's lore accurate mask

    Hello, very simple mod today.
After Ajunta Pall's swords, here's another much needed modernisation of the game. I bring you one of the most known Dark Lords of the Sith's mask. The actual mask (or more like helmet ?). Not the ugly vanilla one.
Anyway, you'll just have to run the Installer and select either the standard version or the upscaled one. It'll look a bit better but will also take a bit more space, so you choose.
Compatible with everything as long as it doesn't replace Tulak Hord's mask (yes, even compatible with mods that would only change the mask's stats as long as the file doesn't get thrown in Override).
Thanks to @DarthParametric for his awesome SWTOR ports and some guy for the upscale.
I do not own this model. I know nothing of licenses so I'm just going to say that if you want to use this mod (which is basically a modders resource mixed with an end user mod), just make sure doing it is fine. Some guy says that if you want to reuse the upscale, it's okay as long as you attribute the work the same way (credit him as some guy).

  24. Galaxy of Faces [K1]

    Galaxy of Faces [K1]
A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Author: N-DReW25
    1.2.0 Release Date: 27.09.2024

    Installation:
Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod!
This mod replaces the appearances of important named NPCs throughout the game. As such, if you wish  to use mods like Onderon Fashion and Smuggler's Deluxe you'll have to install those mods BEFORE this mod.
Simply click on the INSTALL.exe, select "Galaxy of Faces [Main]", click install then sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic.
The "Effix's Duelists", "Unique Rodians" & "Build a Bendak" are OPTIONAL. You don't have to install them if you don't want to.
Effix's Duelists includes Effix's unique Gerlon, Ice & Marl heads. This installation is NOT a total copy of Effix's original Taris Arena Changes mod, that mod adds UTC files to the Override and patches those whilst Galaxy of Faces patches the UTCs in the .MOD files provided from the K1CP mod.
If you are using the NPC Diversity Pack, install Effix's Duelists via Galaxy of Faces. If you want the Armors from Effix's Taris Arena Changes, install that mod instead.
Unique Rodians gives various Rodian NPCs unique appearances. If you are using Stormie97's High Quality Alien: Rodians, do NOT install this option as a compatibiity patch for that mod hasn't been developed yet.
Build a Bendak adds a unique appearance for Bendak Starkiller, however, the "N_Bendak.tga" texture is the vanilla Field Marshal texture. After installing this option, I encourage the player to replace this texture with a Mandalorian texture from a mod of your choosing, I personally recommend RedRob41's Bendak Starkiller Emblem Armour though do feel free to select a skin YOU want instead!
Simply delete the "N_Bendak.tga" texture in your Override folder, rename your desired texture to either "N_Bendak.tga" or "N_Bendak.tgc" and place it in your Override.

    Description:
From the good old days of late 70s/early 80s cinema, the expansive comics and novels of the 90s and 2000s, the rise of modern Star Wars video games and well into the Disney era, the Star Wars Galaxy has always been a "Galaxy of Faces".
And I'm not just referring to the faces of the main characters. I'm referring to background characters such as the aliens of Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in Episode 4 (many of whom were merely random alien costumes who have since evolved into staples of Star Wars alienography with timeless classics like Rodians, Aqualish and Devaronians amongst them), or the the Bounty Hunters hired by Darth Vader to track down the Millennium Falcon in Episode 5 (despite only having 4 lines of dialogue and just over 6 minutes of screen time, Boba Fett has since become just as popular as the main characters mostly down to his unique bad ass appearance in his limited screen time) or the background Jedi characters sprinkled throughout the prequel trilogy (despite never saying a word in the movies, the Jedi Plo-Koon, Kit Fisto and Aayla Secura have since become fan favorites)!
Why do I say this? I think it goes without saying that unique appearances are what makes or breaks a character, and BioWare's 2003 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic RPG has a few problems with this.
As with many video games from this period of gaming, KoTOR has a problem with NPC appearances. In Kotor, the generic background NPCs are referred to as "Commoners" both in the game files and in-game sometimes, the game has 24 generic NPC appearances including 2 white heads, 2 black heads and 2 asian heads for both adult and old appearances which are split between male and female types with an additional male and female white and asian "Tatooine" commoner variant that exists for some reason, bringing the total of commoner appearances up to 24.
Throughout KoTOR, many of these generic appearances aren't even used for background NPCs, those background NPCs receive the low-resolution Lite appearances leaving the actual generic heads for named NPCs. NPCs like Holdan, Jon, Junix Nard, Matton Daisel, Firith Me and Kel Algwinn are all well written characters that really bring these environments to life... but sometimes these NPCs are forgettable simply due to the fact that they use the same appearances, the NPCs I named were strategically chosen as they both use the exact same 1st white and asian male commoner heads. This "clone" problem is intensified once you install NPC Overhaul style mods that remove the Lite appearances and replace them with generic commoner appearances as now you'll be seeing the same 24 heads across over a hundred NPCs throughout the game.
This mod aims to fix that by giving many of these named NPCs unique heads to differentiate them from the generic heads. This mod aims to one day cover almost EVERY single named NPC in the game where possible through a combination of NPC appearances made by me, modder's resources and mods with the modder's permission.
But do keep in mind, not ALL the modded unique heads will be added. Instead, if you consult the "Recommended Mods.txt" file you shall find a list of other mods that I personally recommend that shall also add new unique heads for NPCs that aren't part of this mod.
Thus far, most of the unique heads of the K1 Enhancement Pack modder's resource have been added.
To read about what appearances have been added thus far, please consult the "List.txt" file for a complete list of new appearances.

  25. Evil Sith Flags

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
    Author: N-DReW25
    1.0.0 Release Date: 17.06.2023

    Installation:
There are two versions of this mod to pick from!
DarthVarkor Inspired Version: This flag is the default 128x128 resolution, the same as the vanilla flag. This flag closely resembles the Sith flag seen in DarthVarkor's fan film "Star Wars: KOTOR - Heart of Darkness".
HD Version: This flag is 512x512 in resolution, an upgrade from the DarthVarkor Inspired Version.
Pick which flag you want, open the "For Override" folder in your selected version and copy PLC_SithFlag.tga to your Override folder.
This mod works for Kotor 2 as this same flag appears in the Secret Tomb on Korriban.

    Description:
One of the main inspirations for the Galactic Empire back when "Star Wars: A New Hope" was being developed was real life N*zi Germany. Ever since the release of the Original Trilogy, the writers of the Star Wars Expanded Universe (nowadays called "Legends") and even the writers of modern day Disney Canon draw upon the imagery of the F*scist regimes of old to create their own authoritarian factions that exist in the Galaxy far, far away.
The flag of N*zi Germany is commonly parodied in Star Wars as authors often replace the Sw*stika with the Imperial Crest alongside some minor detail edits to make the parody look less obvious. Whilst Bioware's 2011 Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO did this with Vitiate's Sith Empire, Bioware's 2003 Star Wars: Knights of the Republic RPG did not do this with Revan's Sith Empire.
Across various digital signs throughout the game, such as the Sith Base on Taris to the Sith Embassy on Manaan, the Crest of the Sith Empire is dark blue in color with a light blue background. Additionally, at the end of the Dark Side ending, players can spot an odd yellow and green colored flag with the Sith Crest on it in the end cutscene.
This mod will change those flags at the very end of the game to appear more like the flags of the TOR Sith Empire and the Galactic Empire with their F*scist influences.
This mod was greatly influenced by DarthVarkor's Heart of Darkness Kotor fan film, his film also modified the Sith flag and edited it to look more like the flag found in this mod. Whilst the flag seen in Heart of Darkness is modded, the flag seen in that film is NOT the one found in this mod as I, N-DReW25, saw that film on YouTube and then made the flag found in this mod from scratch!
This mod will not modify the before mentioned Sith signs found throughout the Sith Bases as other mods do a far superior job at editing those signs than I ever could.

    Known Bugs:
Please report any bugs to me on Deadlystream!

    Incompatibilities:
Incompatible with any mods that edit "PLC_SithFlag.tga" or "PLC_SithFlag.tpc"

    Permissions:
Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission.

    Thanks to:
DarthVarkor: For showing the original flag in his fan film "Star Wars: KOTOR - Heart of Darkness"!
Bioware: For such an amazing game!
    Fred Tetra: For Kotor Tool!
    Everyone who downloads the mod!

      • Juhani always belonged to the Kotor 1 companions who got the rather short end of the stick. So while this mod may not fix all my issues with her character, I do appreciate the effort to make her feel more complete.

        Edited by Kätzchen
      • I never understood why there were no Iriaz on Dantooine, despite everyone on Dantooine always talking about there being both Iriaz and Kathhounds on Dantooine. Must have mod for anyone (like me) who wishes for this inconsistency to be fixed.

      • As someone who wholeheartedly believes that Peragus is a slog, this mod is a lifesaver and i have enjoyed it.

        Good work

      • I've been looking forever for a mod that finally acknowledges the fact that Juhani is, indeed, a romance option for a female lightsided Revan. And when I heared about there being a mod that allows you to select who Revan ended up with in the first game, I was really excited to try this mod out, thinking it would be exactly what I was looking for at last. Unfortunately, the Mod in it's current form isn't what I was looking for. Yes, it does indeed make sure that Juhani is finally acknowledged as an option for a female Revan, instead of me being stuck with the games assumption that my female Revan ended up with Carth. And while I am a bit iffy about the voice acting, the fact that the author managed to incorporate both a Hidden message from Juhani and a cameo appearance from basically nothing, is rather impressive.

However, what the Mode also does, is take various romance mods for Kotor 1, Mods that remove gender locks for Carth and Bastila and /or enable poly-romances with them to be precise, and turn their "additions" into selectable options too. Which I would be fine with, if these were coming in the form of selectable components that people can choose to either install or skip. But sadly, they are part of the main install, with the only optional component being the aforementioned cameo Juhani appearance. Thus sadly leaving me stuck with a playthrough were K2 acts as if Revan charging up both Carths and Bastilas loading ramps simutaneously was an actual genuin option in an unmodded vanilla Kotor 1 game.

        Edited by Kätzchen
      • A simple but much needed fix for a more immersive Kotor 2, that has become a main stay in all my playthroughs ever since I first installed it

      • Why does deadlystream let creators review their own apps?

3/5 gets the job done. v2 should be 4/5 if not 5/5

      • My one and only gripe with this mod is that it isn't part of TSLRCM. It is such a minor yet really crucial restoration in my book and it really surprises me that the TSLRCM team hasn't incorporated into TSLRCM in another patch by now

        • Thanks 1
      • Legend for this fr.

      • I don't have any other UI mods and this isn't working.

      • Hello 👋 n-drew, I'm investigating a bug and I'm trying to fix it myself. I have tslrcm, community patch, 3C-FD fog fix patcher as well as your bug fix collection and restored content plus. I have no other mods related to audio. I'm having a issue where the work bench "upgrade" sound isn't playing... I've narrowed it down to one of the aforementioned mods being the cause. Just wondering of you or anyone else can recreate the bug or know how to fix it.

        Thank you

        - Saul

      • Much better than the Remote Tells Influence Mod in my book. If only for the fact that the Ebon Hawk computer doesn't make that REALLY ANNOYING SOUND while I'm checking in on said influence

      • Excellent mod, does what it says om the tin

      • This is an incredible innovation for Knights Of The Old Republic and The Sith Lords modding. It handles everything I throw at it and deserved status as the next KOTOR Tool.

    • No JCs Lightsaber effects mod does not work with crazy's. This one does support it tho: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2794-lightsaber-hilt-variety-tsl/
    • There is also an additional issue where the model half t-poses when moving quickly (at least in when directed to move during a conversation). Though, considering most uses for an ewok model is going to be silly anyway, I'm not sure if that's a bug or a feature lol.
    • Hey is this mod somehow compatible with JC's Lightsaber Visual Effects for K2 1.5? I installed  the New_Lightsaber_Blade_Model mod by crazy34 and this fix, but JC's lightsaber mod doesn't seem to work. Can someone help? Thanks.
    • I have tested the appearance out in-game as an NPC and I have discovered some issues.     As you can see, the area between the hood and the face has holes in it allowing you to see right through the NPC. There are also some minor clipping issues with dialogue animations and there's an oddity where the heard lurches forward when it dies, though I suppose that's to be expected. The Ewok's dead body also clips into the floor, which I suspect might be fixable, however.
    • Hey,   is this mod somehow compatible with JC's Lightsaber Visual Effects for K2 1.5? I installed yours with the Glitched Lightsaber Hilt Fix - TSL Aspyr 2.0 and JC's lightsaber mod, but the latter doesn't seem to work. Can someone help? Thanks.
