Female Republic Soldier Restoration A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.5.0 Release Date: 12.12.2024 Installation: This mod requires the K1 Community Patch to work, install this mod first: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1258-kotor-1-community-patch/ Once you have that mod installed, simply click on this mod's INSTALL.exe, select which install you'd like, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. The "NPC Diversity Pack Install!" is for players who have ALREADY installed the NPC Diversity Pack mod found here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/2246-npc-diversity-pack-betak1/ If you don't plan on using the NPC Diversity Pack, feel free to use the "Vanilla Install!" option. Description: Obsidian Entertainment made full use of the Female Republic Soldier assets when developing K2 by using them on the Harbinger, the Sojourn and on Citadel Station as TSF Officers. Despite Bioware being the company who created them, they are mysteriously absent from K1 (unless you consider one or two 3 second long cameo appearances in the background of one of the end game cutscenes). This mod will restore Female Republic Soldiers across various locations where male Republic Soldiers can be found, they can be found in the following locations: * Several females are located on the Endar Spire. * Five are on Manaan. Two are on Manaan loading Kolto, one will guard Lorgal in his prison cell, and an Officer is now recruiting Mercenaries outside the Cantina. * Multiple new females can be seen in the background of Admiral Dodonna's ship at the end of the game. Update 1.3.0 adds brand new English VO for the female Republic Soldiers, whilst the VO was done using AI tech the VO is very (disturbingly) realistic. You can hear this amazing VO on Manaan! N-DReW's Bug Fix Collection for TSL A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2 Author: N-DReW25 1.4.0 Release Date: 25.11.2024 Installation: Please install The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod 1.8.6 FIRST, no exceptions. It is highly advised to install the KOTOR 2 Community Patch before this mod, this is optional. This mod is divided into two parts, the TSLPatcher component and the Override Component. To install Override Component features, simply open their folders and copy their mod files to the Kotor 2 Override folder. To install TSLPatcher Component features, simply click on the HoloPatcher.exe, click install, and sit back and watch the installer do its magic. WARNING: It is highly recommended that you do not install the game on your system's C drive, especially in Program Files. Windows can have permissions issues when trying to install the mod to a C drive destination. If you are using the Steam version of the game and have installed Steam in its default Program Files location, we advise creating a new Steam Library on a different drive and moving the game there via the game's Properties pop-up in Steam. Description: My Bug Fix Collection is another bug fix mod, though unlike most bug fix mods that have been made for the Kotor games this mod is for Kotor 2 in particular. The popular TSLRCM and K2CP mods are two excellent mods that bug fix hundreds of bugs throughout the game... though they haven't fixed all the bugs. Since TSLRCM development is essentially finished and the K2CP dev team are focused on the K1CP mod, I made my own bug fix mods to squash the rest I could. This is a modders' resource -- not intended for general use. It includes alternate versions of the four submodules in the enclave sublevel from TSL that had damage baked into their room models, now restored to their pre-bombing condition. That includes removing rubble, replacing flickering/dead lights, and cutting back on vegetative overgrowth. Lightmapping looks good too. I've exported the models in both K1 and TSL formats, default is TSL because I made this for Thor110's Expanded Galaxy Project, but K1 versions are in a subfolder. I've also included a VIS file for the module which is a merge of Thor110's additions for Visibility File Fixes with new edits of my own, particularly to compensate for the removal of some rubble in the rotunda with the glass dome which at least partially obscured submodules getting unloaded. I would use the exact same VIS even for the vanilla module, though. Usage: Just add the included models to your mod project. I did include versions for K1 ports, which you can find in the "K1" subfolder. Don't forget the VIS. You don't need to ask for permission to use these, just give credit in the description/readme. Included Files: Acknowledgments: Thanks to seedhartha for making modeling for these games simple using KotORBlender, and Cortisol for making file extraction easy with the Holocron Toolset. I would also like to thank Thor110 for buffing up the module's vis for his Visibility File Fixes mod, and allowing me to include those edits in this version. Peragus Miner Pack A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2 Author: N-DReW25 1.1.0 Release Date: 18.09.2022 Installation: Simply click on the HoloPatcher.exe, select your option, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. I isn't recommended to install "Everyone a Beta Miner" and "Some Beta Miners" together as EABM will change ALL the miners thus rendering SBM redundant. It is highly recommended you check out the "Description" section of the readme to ensure you've made an informed decision on what exactly you want to install. Description: The Peragus Miner NPCs all wear the Miner Uniform item the player gets to wear, but did you know that one point during the development of Kotor 2 this wasn't meant to be? In the game files, you can find an unused texture which suggests that the Miner Uniform was originally based on the Czerka Uniform model whereas the current Miner Uniform is based on the Combat Suit model. The change from a Czerka Uniform to a Combat Suit texture was most likely to allow the player to wear the Miner Uniform. Oddly, the Maintenance Officer's Corpse placeable and the dead Peragus Miners floating in the Kolto Tanks still use the Czerka based Miner Uniform. From here on, we shall refer to the Czerka-based Miner Uniform as the "Beta Miner Uniform". This mod has the following mod options: OPTION 1: Everyone a Beta Miner Everyone a Beta Miner will restore the Beta Uniform to EVERY single Peragus Miner NPC. This will not affect the Player's Miner Uniform. OPTION 2: Some Beta Miners This option will only restore the Beta Uniform for the Medical Officer, the Administrator, the Dock Officer, the Maintenance Officer and the Security Officer. These Miners will wear the Beta Uniform whereas every other Peragus Miner will wear the vanilla Miner Uniform. OPTION 3: No Player Heads Did you know notice how some Peragus Miner NPCs (Coorta's Thugs etc.) reuse the Player Heads? This install option will replace the Player Heads with Generic NPC Heads. This option is compatible with options 1 and 2. OPTION 4: Mining Gear Plus You WILL need to have Kainzorus Prime's Peragus Mining Gear installed beforehand for this option to work. This option will have some Miners use the Beta Uniform, some use the vanilla Miner Uniform and the rest will use Kainzorus Prime's Peragus Mining Gear. With this option, the Plasteel Cylinder you first encounter in the Mining Tunnels will contain vanilla Miner Uniform whilst the Plasteel Cylinder at the Main Ventilation Shaft will contain Kainzorus Prime's Peragus Mining Gear. A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.2.0 Release Date: 27.01.2024 Installation: Alongside the "Readme.txt" file will be the following folders: "Audio Mods" "Movie Cutscene Mods" "Override Mods" * To install Audio Mods: Open the Audio Mods folder, open the Taris Sith Raid XBOX VO folder, open the Streamwaves and copy all 4 .WAV files to this directly (swkotor\streamwaves\m02aa\prer99) and overwrite the vanilla files. * To install Movie Cutscene Mods: Open the Movie Cutscene Mods folder, select which mod you'd like to install and simply copy the .BIK file into your swkotor "movies" folder and overwrite the original .BIK files. * To install Override Mods: Open the Override Mods folder, select which mod you'd like to install and copy the files within the mod folder into your swkotor "Override" folder. You cannot install both Dark Jedi mods as they use the same files, please pick only one Dark Jedi mod to install. Description: As you may know, or may even remember, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic was released on July 15 2003 whilst the PC edition was released on November 19 2003. Obviously, the original Xbox console from 2003 has gone out of fashion a LONG time ago and 95% of the Kotor Modding and Gaming Community in general have migrated over to the glorious PC Master- *Cough* I mean, to the PC. But did you know that Bioware gave Kotor one final improvement before releasing the full game to the PCs? if you've actually played Kotor on the original Xbox (Or maybe even the Xbox 360, Xbox One or even the Xbox Series X) then you'll recall how on the Console edition of Kotor had a variety of oddities like lower resolution textures, different appearances for NPCs, incorrect appearances for NPCs, alternative VO, bugs/glitches, Yavin 4 being locked behind DLC and more... This mod pack is similar to my TSL Mini Mod Collection mod, every update to the KOTOX will include more Xbox inspired mods for the player to install and experience. A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 30.09.2021 Installation: Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe, select your option, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. The alien is HD by default, the "Different Resolutions" folder contains a backup of the HD texture, a texture which matches the same resolution as every other NPC in the game and a Lite texture which is a low-res texture which matches the other Lite NPCs. Uninstallation: Depends on what you've chosen to install. Copy the files within the generated "backup" folder and place the file inside your modules folder, make sure you overwrite. Description: In the game files exists several "Lite" low-poly Alien NPC models, these are the Quarren (N_alien02_low), the Chadra-Fan (N_alien03_low) and the Gran (N_alien05_low). In the Taris section of the texture files exists a file called "LTS_Crowd01.tga" which most likely contains an early draft of the Duel Arena spectator crowd, on this texture exists two strange aliens, one which looks like a Gand and another which could only be described as a pink punk. In the model files, I found an unused model called "N_alien01_low" which lacked a texture but looked suspiciously like the pink punk from the crowd texture... this leads me to believe that the pink punk was going to be "N_alien01_low" whereas the Gand would've been "N_alien01_low". This mod gives "N_alien01_low" a texture and restores the NPC in several places in the game, you can find him on: * Dantooine as Kni * Manaan as a Shady Pazaak Dealer * Tatooine as the guy who gives you the Gizka I could've added this alien in more places, though I thought seeing the same low-poly Lite NPC over and over again would get old real quick. I might add this guy in more locations based on suggestions and popular demand. Whilst I am confident no Legends material has named this alien species YET... I have chosen a name for it. it's called a "Pyrath". This name was chosen by me, @N-DReW25, simply because this guy doesn't exist in either Star Wars Legends or Canon and in the words of Effix: it's simply a generic filler alien. I chose the name "Pyrath" as this species would be from the planet "Pyr" which is in same system as Manaan. By choosing this name, there might be a way to create some form of connection between Selkath and the "Pyrath" species. A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.1.0 Release Date: 18.06.2023 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe and you'll be given 4 installation options. Each option will install 1 head (a single option may come with 2 heads depending on which one you pick) so pick which head you'd like, if you want all the heads you'll have to install the mod 4 times. Click the option you'd like to be directed to that options installation menu, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. Repeat the process for any other heads you'd like to install! Description: Kotor 2 has a few popular heads which were cut from the final game, they include: Saedhe's unique head, Hussef's unique head and the "Jedi Master 4" head which was used for Kaevee. Whilst these heads were restored in TSLRCM, no such restoration of unused heads exists for K1... until now! This mod will present up to 5 restored faces which you will see across the Kotor galaxy, they include: 1) "Sith Apprentice 1 Head": In-game, the armored Sith Apprentice's use the 2nd Sith Apprentice Head variant whilst the 1st head variant is neglected. As only a texture exists for this head, I had to modify this head's texture to hide the mapping for the scar which is present for the 2nd Sith Apprentice Head but not this one. This new Sith Apprentice head is used by the Taris Sith Govenor, the Dark Jedi in the Manaan Hangar, the Dark Jedi Master trio in the Leviathan Command Deck and the Lehon Sith Master. 2) "Dirty Commoner Head Variant Male": This head is a variant of the classic Batu-Rem generic head with a dirty, scratched up reskin. This head will be used by the Infected Outcasts who you can cure in the Undercity. 3) "Dirty Commoner Head Variant Female": This head is a variant of the generic head used by Sarna with a dirty, scratched up reskin to match the male variant. This skin is special as it was never included in either the PC or the XBOX versions of Kotor, so how did I get my hands on this texture? When Aspyr released Kotor for the Nintendo Switch, they accidentally replaced the generic blonde white female head with this dirty head variant instead, resulting in characters like Ice using this head texture instead of their usual blonde head. To restore this head for it's intended purpose (as a dirty head variant), I had the texture ripped from the Switch and ported to PC. From my observation, the Nintendo Switch version of Kotor uses an upscaled version of the XBOX textures upgrading their textures from 256x256 (the standard XBOX quality) to 1024x1024 resolution (This is why the graphics on the Nintendo Switch look so strange). The skin included in this mod has been downsized to 256x256 to match the texture quality of the male head variant which WAS included in the PC game files. This head will be used by the Infected Outcasts who you can cure in the Undercity. 4) "Asian Commoner Head Variant Male": This head is listed in the game files amongst the other generic commoner heads, it can be assumed this head was scrapped and it's model became the basis of the PHMA01 player head. As of right now, this head will be used by Tanis Venn! Why Tanis? Well, his unique appearance isn't really that 'unique'. His vanilla appearance uses the generic Tatooine Asian male head with a smuggler's jacket, by giving Tanis this previously unused head it makes Tanis' appearance a proper 'unique' appearance. 5) "Asian Commoner Head Variant Female": This head is listed in the game files amongst the other generic commoner heads, it can be assumed this head was scrapped and it's model became the basis of the PHFA02 player head. As of right now, this head will be used by the Czerka Protocol Officer! Why the Czerka Protocol Officer? Well, her unique appearance isn't really that 'unique'. Her vanilla appearance uses the generic Tatooine Asian female head with the Czerka clothing texture locked in by default, by giving the Czerka Protocol Officer this previously unused head it makes her appearance a proper 'unique' appearance. Please refer to the screenshots on this mod's Deadlystream download page for a visual reference. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. The Sith Apprentice head might have a minor graphical error on it's right cheek, with the original texture this minor graphical error appears much worse and my modifications to the texture was done to make this error less noticable. You can't really notice any graphical error unless you really keep your eyes peeled for it so you probably won't even notice it. Incompatibilities: Please report any incompatibilities! Will be incompatible with any mod which adds "N_SithAppren01_H.tga" or "N_SithAppren01_H.tpc". If you installed a mod which has "N_SithAppren01_H.tga", even if it's an AI Upscale, it will most likely restore the previously fixed graphical error on the Sith Apprentice's cheek. View File Unused Head Restoration Pack A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.1.0 Release Date: 18.06.2023 Installation: Please install the K1 Community Patch FIRST before this mod! Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe and you'll be given 4 installation options. Each option will install 1 head (a single option may come with 2 heads depending on which one you pick) so pick which head you'd like, if you want all the heads you'll have to install the mod 4 times. Click the option you'd like to be directed to that options installation menu, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. Repeat the process for any other heads you'd like to install! Description: Kotor 2 has a few popular heads which were cut from the final game, they include: Saedhe's unique head, Hussef's unique head and the "Jedi Master 4" head which was used for Kaevee. Whilst these heads were restored in TSLRCM, no such restoration of unused heads exists for K1... until now! This mod will present up to 5 restored faces which you will see across the Kotor galaxy, they include: 1) "Sith Apprentice 1 Head": In-game, the armored Sith Apprentice's use the 2nd Sith Apprentice Head variant whilst the 1st head variant is neglected. As only a texture exists for this head, I had to modify this head's texture to hide the mapping for the scar which is present for the 2nd Sith Apprentice Head but not this one. This new Sith Apprentice head is used by the Taris Sith Govenor, the Dark Jedi in the Manaan Hangar, the Dark Jedi Master trio in the Leviathan Command Deck and the Lehon Sith Master. 2) "Dirty Commoner Head Variant Male": This head is a variant of the classic Batu-Rem generic head with a dirty, scratched up reskin. This head will be used by the Infected Outcasts who you can cure in the Undercity. 3) "Dirty Commoner Head Variant Female": This head is a variant of the generic head used by Sarna with a dirty, scratched up reskin to match the male variant. This skin is special as it was never included in either the PC or the XBOX versions of Kotor, so how did I get my hands on this texture? When Aspyr released Kotor for the Nintendo Switch, they accidentally replaced the generic blonde white female head with this dirty head variant instead, resulting in characters like Ice using this head texture instead of their usual blonde head. To restore this head for it's intended purpose (as a dirty head variant), I had the texture ripped from the Switch and ported to PC. From my observation, the Nintendo Switch version of Kotor uses an upscaled version of the XBOX textures upgrading their textures from 256x256 (the standard XBOX quality) to 1024x1024 resolution (This is why the graphics on the Nintendo Switch look so strange). The skin included in this mod has been downsized to 256x256 to match the texture quality of the male head variant which WAS included in the PC game files. This head will be used by the Infected Outcasts who you can cure in the Undercity. 4) "Asian Commoner Head Variant Male": This head is listed in the game files amongst the other generic commoner heads, it can be assumed this head was scrapped and it's model became the basis of the PHMA01 player head. As of right now, this head will be used by Tanis Venn! Why Tanis? Well, his unique appearance isn't really that 'unique'. His vanilla appearance uses the generic Tatooine Asian male head with a smuggler's jacket, by giving Tanis this previously unused head it makes Tanis' appearance a proper 'unique' appearance. 5) "Asian Commoner Head Variant Female": This head is listed in the game files amongst the other generic commoner heads, it can be assumed this head was scrapped and it's model became the basis of the PHFA02 player head. As of right now, this head will be used by the Czerka Protocol Officer! Why the Czerka Protocol Officer? Well, her unique appearance isn't really that 'unique'. Her vanilla appearance uses the generic Tatooine Asian female head with the Czerka clothing texture locked in by default, by giving the Czerka Protocol Officer this previously unused head it makes her appearance a proper 'unique' appearance. Please refer to the screenshots on this mod's Deadlystream download page for a visual reference. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. The Sith Apprentice head might have a minor graphical error on it's right cheek, with the original texture this minor graphical error appears much worse and my modifications to the texture was done to make this error less noticable. You can't really notice any graphical error unless you really keep your eyes peeled for it so you probably won't even notice it. Incompatibilities: Please report any incompatibilities! Will be incompatible with any mod which adds "N_SithAppren01_H.tga" or "N_SithAppren01_H.tpc". If you installed a mod which has "N_SithAppren01_H.tga", even if it's an AI Upscale, it will most likely restore the previously fixed graphical error on the Sith Apprentice's cheek. Description: Obsidian Entertainment made full use of the Female Republic Soldier assets when developing K2 by using them on the Harbinger, the Sojourn and on Citadel Station as TSF Officers. Despite Bioware being the company who created them, they are mysteriously absent from K1 (unless you consider one or two 3 second long cameo appearances in the background of one of the end game cutscenes). This mod will restore Female Republic Soldiers across various locations where male Republic Soldiers can be found, they can be found in the following locations: * Several females are located on the Endar Spire. * Five are on Manaan. Two are on Manaan loading Kolto, one will guard Lorgal in his prison cell, and an Officer is now recruiting Mercenaries outside the Cantina. * Multiple new females can be seen in the background of Admiral Dodonna's ship at the end of the game. View File Beta Peragus Miner Pack Peragus Miner Pack A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2 Author: N-DReW25 1.1.0 Release Date: 18.09.2022 Installation: Simply click on the HoloPatcher.exe, select your option, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. I isn't recommended to install "Everyone a Beta Miner" and "Some Beta Miners" together as EABM will change ALL the miners thus rendering SBM redundant. It is highly recommended you check out the "Description" section of the readme to ensure you've made an informed decision on what exactly you want to install. Description: The Peragus Miner NPCs all wear the Miner Uniform item the player gets to wear, but did you know that one point during the development of Kotor 2 this wasn't meant to be? In the game files, you can find an unused texture which suggests that the Miner Uniform was originally based on the Czerka Uniform model whereas the current Miner Uniform is based on the Combat Suit model. The change from a Czerka Uniform to a Combat Suit texture was most likely to allow the player to wear the Miner Uniform. Oddly, the Maintenance Officer's Corpse placeable and the dead Peragus Miners floating in the Kolto Tanks still use the Czerka based Miner Uniform. From here on, we shall refer to the Czerka-based Miner Uniform as the "Beta Miner Uniform". This mod has the following mod options: OPTION 1: Everyone a Beta Miner Everyone a Beta Miner will restore the Beta Uniform to EVERY single Peragus Miner NPC. This will not affect the Player's Miner Uniform. OPTION 2: Some Beta Miners This option will only restore the Beta Uniform for the Medical Officer, the Administrator, the Dock Officer, the Maintenance Officer and the Security Officer. These Miners will wear the Beta Uniform whereas every other Peragus Miner will wear the vanilla Miner Uniform. OPTION 3: No Player Heads Did you know notice how some Peragus Miner NPCs (Coorta's Thugs etc.) reuse the Player Heads? This install option will replace the Player Heads with Generic NPC Heads. This option is compatible with options 1 and 2. OPTION 4: Mining Gear Plus You WILL need to have Kainzorus Prime's Peragus Mining Gear installed beforehand for this option to work. This option will have some Miners use the Beta Uniform, some use the vanilla Miner Uniform and the rest will use Kainzorus Prime's Peragus Mining Gear. With this option, the Plasteel Cylinder you first encounter in the Mining Tunnels will contain vanilla Miner Uniform whilst the Plasteel Cylinder at the Main Ventilation Shaft will contain Kainzorus Prime's Peragus Mining Gear. View File Lite Alien 01 Restoration A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 30.09.2021 Installation: Simply click on the TSLPatcher.exe, select your option, click install and sit back and watch the TSLPatcher do its magic. The alien is HD by default, the "Different Resolutions" folder contains a backup of the HD texture, a texture which matches the same resolution as every other NPC in the game and a Lite texture which is a low-res texture which matches the other Lite NPCs. Uninstallation: Depends on what you've chosen to install. Copy the files within the generated "backup" folder and place the file inside your modules folder, make sure you overwrite. Description: In the game files exists several "Lite" low-poly Alien NPC models, these are the Quarren (N_alien02_low), the Chadra-Fan (N_alien03_low) and the Gran (N_alien05_low). In the Taris section of the texture files exists a file called "LTS_Crowd01.tga" which most likely contains an early draft of the Duel Arena spectator crowd, on this texture exists two strange aliens, one which looks like a Gand and another which could only be described as a pink punk. In the model files, I found an unused model called "N_alien01_low" which lacked a texture but looked suspiciously like the pink punk from the crowd texture... this leads me to believe that the pink punk was going to be "N_alien01_low" whereas the Gand would've been "N_alien01_low". This mod gives "N_alien01_low" a texture and restores the NPC in several places in the game, you can find him on: * Dantooine as Kni * Manaan as a Shady Pazaak Dealer * Tatooine as the guy who gives you the Gizka I could've added this alien in more places, though I thought seeing the same low-poly Lite NPC over and over again would get old real quick. I might add this guy in more locations based on suggestions and popular demand. Whilst I am confident no Legends material has named this alien species YET... I have chosen a name for it. it's called a "Pyrath". This name was chosen by me, @N-DReW25, simply because this guy doesn't exist in either Star Wars Legends or Canon and in the words of Effix: it's simply a generic filler alien. I chose the name "Pyrath" as this species would be from the planet "Pyr" which is in same system as Manaan. By choosing this name, there might be a way to create some form of connection between Selkath and the "Pyrath" species. View File Knights of the Old XBOX A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 1.2.0 Release Date: 27.01.2024 Installation: Alongside the "Readme.txt" file will be the following folders: "Audio Mods" "Movie Cutscene Mods" "Override Mods" * To install Audio Mods: Open the Audio Mods folder, open the Taris Sith Raid XBOX VO folder, open the Streamwaves and copy all 4 .WAV files to this directly (swkotor\streamwaves\m02aa\prer99) and overwrite the vanilla files. * To install Movie Cutscene Mods: Open the Movie Cutscene Mods folder, select which mod you'd like to install and simply copy the .BIK file into your swkotor "movies" folder and overwrite the original .BIK files. * To install Override Mods: Open the Override Mods folder, select which mod you'd like to install and copy the files within the mod folder into your swkotor "Override" folder. You cannot install both Dark Jedi mods as they use the same files, please pick only one Dark Jedi mod to install. Description: As you may know, or may even remember, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic was released on July 15 2003 whilst the PC edition was released on November 19 2003. Obviously, the original Xbox console from 2003 has gone out of fashion a LONG time ago and 95% of the Kotor Modding and Gaming Community in general have migrated over to the glorious PC Master- *Cough* I mean, to the PC. But did you know that Bioware gave Kotor one final improvement before releasing the full game to the PCs? if you've actually played Kotor on the original Xbox (Or maybe even the Xbox 360, Xbox One or even the Xbox Series X) then you'll recall how on the Console edition of Kotor had a variety of oddities like lower resolution textures, different appearances for NPCs, incorrect appearances for NPCs, alternative VO, bugs/glitches, Yavin 4 being locked behind DLC and more... This mod pack is similar to my TSL Mini Mod Collection mod, every update to the KOTOX will include more Xbox inspired mods for the player to install and experience. Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: Would be incompatible with any mods which modify the Taris Sith Raid dlg, the legal and Revan's death .BIKs and any Dark Jedi texture mods. It is highly advised to install the KOTOR 2 Community Patch before this mod, this is optional. This mod is divided into two parts, the TSLPatcher component and the Override Component. To install Override Component features, simply open their folders and copy their mod files to the Kotor 2 Override folder. To install TSLPatcher Component features, simply click on the HoloPatcher.exe, click install, and sit back and watch the installer do its magic. WARNING: It is highly recommended that you do not install the game on your system's C drive, especially in Program Files. Windows can have permissions issues when trying to install the mod to a C drive destination. A remake of FrantFire's Nar Shaddaa Hidden Complex. Idea ======= One day I used Force Sight to the door next to Fassa in Nar Shaddaa docks area and when I opened it I found an interesting unused complex (I think it was supposed to be used for the GenoHaradan? -Darth_Tartarus), then I decided to use this area, somehow... 2. Info ======= This mod does the following: 1) Allows you to open one of two doors near Fassa (the Twi'lek in Nar Shaddaa docks). You will only be able to open one of these two sealed doors, and also access 2 closed doors at the Refugee landing pad area (I always wondered what was behind those doors); there you will find some sort of abandoned cantina. 2) It will spawn (add) a Twi'lek female in the Nar Shaddaa docks flophouse area, up to you find where, as well as some pretty nasty thugs somewhere. 3) It will make the alien Gran thug guarding Vogga's enclave entry door hostile, but only if you decide to kill the Bith guard near him. (I did this to give more realism to this easy fight, no sense having the Bith fighting you and the Gran thug by him just standing there). The Bith will be a little more challenging, too. So you will have a realistic fight with Vogga's guards now. This has nothing to do with the Complex mod itself but I included it anyway in this pack. (Only if you install the full version of this mod, not the Lite version) 4) (Optional): Improved and modified Vogga.dlg (he will realize you have killled his enclave door guards), plus reduced many long texts for short streamvoices, same problem fixed in Vogga's Bith dialog. (again, not with the Lite version.) 5) Two journal entries have been added for this mod. 3. How to play ============ You will need a saved game before arriving at Nar Shaddaa for the first time, if you do not have one and you have a saved game at the Refugee Landing Pad or the Promenade -and you have not entered the Docks area before- you can still open the doors near Vossk (the Trandoshan) at the landing pad by other means (you cheater), by using something along the lines of the WhereamI Armband. This way you can still initiate the mod. ONLY READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO KNOW exactly what to do, I personally suggest playing to figure out what to do. If you want to know how to open the docks doors you will need a special key, available in a lost pad inside the abandoned cantina in the Nar Shaddaa Refugee Landing Pad (this cantina was also unavailable in original game, by the way) and it is placed just behind Vossk. There may be some errors with TSLRCM because of the addition of the cantina. Without the key, the doors next to Fassa in the docking area will remain closed -showing as "Sealed door" in case you want to know- or if you do not find the key. Once opened the door, just enter and see... There is also a hard-to-open footlocker in the cantina. A Twi'lek woman has also been spawned in one of the flophouse's rooms, hiding for some reason. She will be behind a separating panel in the room next to Lasavvou (the Ithorian). Talk to her to find out why she's hiding, and to get a quest. Finally, to reach the Bith's dialog option to kill him, while talking to him about Vogga's fuel contracts take the branch "It's not safe to compete with me". Vogga won't be happy about you killing them, though... 4. Installation/Uninstallation ===================== To install: Simply run the TSLPatcher and choose an option. Those of you with TSLRCM should choose the no-Vogga version, for compatibility reasons. Many people certainly download overpowered mods, I have seen a lot of them, armors and lightsabers specially. If you have installed this sort of mods you will have good chances of killing the mercenaries before level 14, as you can see I like to edit .uti's to reduce slightly weapons-armors stats for challenging fights. 6. New items or equipment ===================== Two lightsaber crystals only, actually not new items, just slightly reduced by me, powerful enough but only for 100% darkside or 100% lightside aligned Jedi, and you will be able to collect a few pre-existing game items from the corpses, if you succeed. 7. Credits: ========= Very special thanks to: Stoffe - for an On Notice script I used in the Complex area, being a guide many times at the Holowan labs. Darth Xander - for allowing me (all of us) to see this lost cantina -or whatever it is- through his original Nar Shaddaa lost cantina mod. Experience won ============== If you are not a fan of gathering too many experience points (XP) through all the mods you install, then you might like to know that you will only gain 1500 XP points or so with this mod after dealing with the mercenaries, if you kill all of them, plus Vogga's Gran thug. (1250+250 the Gran thug). You can subtract some XP through KSE (KotOR/KotOR2 Savegame Editor) if you want. 10. Bugs ========= Using something like the WhereamI Armband to enter the Complex through both doors triggers the Complex Leader attack twice. Beating him twice also allows you to claim the prize from the Twi'lek twice. So, kinda a useful bug! 11. Permissions ============ You can use freely this mod files, just give me the correspondent credits in case you use or modify some of these files. 12.
