This mod replaces the voice overs used for Nikto, Aqualish, & Quarren NPCs in KOTOR. In KOTOR I, Nikto & Aqualish NPCs use the same VOs meant for Twi'leks, Ithorians, & Rodians. Because KOTOR II adds in VOs specific to the two species, I figured hey, why not incorporate them back into the original game? In KOTOR I, Nikto, Aqualish, & Quarren NPCs use VOs meant for Ithorians, Twi'leks, Rodians, & Bith. Because KOTOR II adds in VOs specific to these three species, I figured hey, why not incorporate them back into the original game? I've included compatibility patches for the Queedle Fix, KOTOR 1 Community Patch (which includes the Queedle Fix), K1 NPC Overhaul, & KOTOR 1 Restoration. Installation & Uninstallation To install this mod, run Installer.exe & select the first option to install the main mod. Then, run the installer again for any of the compatibility patches you may need. It doesn't matter which order you install compatibility patches in. You must have installed the other mods beforehand. To uninstall this mod, delete the files from your game's Override and streamwaves folders (I've included a list of them in the readme.txt). If necessary, restore any files in "backup" to the Override folder. Restore tar_m03ab.mod to the modules folder if you've installed the K1R Compatibility Patch. Compatibility Compatibility patches have been added for the mods already mentioned due to their common usage. The K1 Restoration Mod has a Nikto NPC in the Vulkar Base sublevel with Basic (English) VOs. I decided to leave this unaltered as to not interfere with the restored content. Known Issues Some of the Nikto VOs don't have perfectly matching mouth animations, which is because KOTOR II has some missing .LIP files. The placeholders I'm using are as close as I could find. These may be replaced in a later version. Redros's mouth doesn't move for a couple of lines of dialogue. This bug happens regardless of this mod & only if his appearance is Nikto, so I felt it's a bug beyond this mod's scope. Please let me know of any other issues you find, or if you come across anything I missed! Credits Fred Tetra, Kotor Tool Fair Strides, KotOR Toolset tk102, DLG Editor & K-GFF Editor Major thanks to the KOTOR community for the passion & dedication that keeps these games alive. Disclaimer This mod is not supported by LucasArts, BioWare, or Obsidian Entertainment. It is for personal usage only & intends no copyright infringement. As this mod ports files from KOTOR II to KOTOR I, it's intended for players who already own both games. I do not claim ownership of these ported files. Contact me on DeadlyStream or via Discord (listed on my DS profile) if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or the like. If you want to use this mod as a part of an external work, please reach out to me first to get permission! If you just want to use the included .WAV or .LIP files, you're better off extracting them yourself. Not only are they not my property, some of them are renamed duplicates or have been modified otherwise.

  3. Greetings, fellow Jedi! As far as I know, the Star Wars franchise is in loss now. And far as I know too, in economics- to save a company from collapsing, a merger [in this case is the Universe, or could be more specific- storyline merging] is necessary in this kind of situation. So, what do you think if Star Wars Universe merged either with Marvel Universe, DC Universe, or even the Alien Universe Timeline? I'd personally love to see the SWU merged with the Alien Universe Timeline. Maybe, if SW wants to get serious, AUT would be the best choice. Again, only a matter of personal preferences. Feel free to discuss; I'd love to hear what you folks think and have to say on this matter. Or maybe someone can provide me with some references if there are actually this kind of ideas in the Star Wars: Expanded Universe? Many thanks for considering this, and may the Force be with You all!

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 11.05.2018 Installation: Copy and Paste the file within "For Override" into your Kotor Override folder Uninstallation: Remove the file you copied from the Override folder Description: Queedle is an Ithorian Swoop Racer on Manaan, he seems all well and normal until you find out he claims he is from the world "Ando" (which is the same homeworld as the Aqualish species) and a Sith refers to him as an "Aqualish" which leads me to believe Queedle is supposed to be an Aqualish but during development his appearance was set to an Ithorian as both Ithorian and Aqualish NPCs share the same VO thus the confusion. This fix turns Queedle into an Aqualish Known Bugs: This mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream. Incompatibilities: Shouldn't be incompatible with anything but if there is just PM me on Deadlystream Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use assets from this mod without my permission Thanks: Bioware for such an amazing game Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool and everyone who downloads the mod. 6. I almost always do alien playthroughs in kotor I and II--I just think it's more interesting. Playing as an alien works much better in the first game than it does in the second one, however. Both games have some pretty awesome mods that let you look like an alien, but there are a few mods that only exist for kotor I (as far as I'm aware) that kotor II could really use. One of them is a sounsets mod, which allows you to go into KSE and replace the default soundset with an alien one. The second one is Alien DLG Correction, which replaces the word 'human' in dialogue with an alien species of your choosing (I think they have around 4 options, if I remember correctly). I've made a few attempts at both of these, but they have been unsuccessful thus far--I'm pretty inept when it comes to modding this game. How difficult do you think making mods like these is? If it isn't too insanely difficult, I'll keep trying, but if it's pretty hard I may as well not. If you want a reference for my skill at modding this game... just take that of a 3 year old child, and there you go... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
