Thanks for sharing this, Jorak Uln! and I like to add some points in case some didn't know before; it is also possible to make a envmap "unique", to prevent conflicts with an already present vanilla CM. For example: we could just name the CM_Baremetal.tga and .txi of Sapiens' pack with MyCM.tga and MyCM.txi [try to make sure the .txi parameter is set as "Cube 1"] and link it with textures that will use it by setting the waypoint of envmaptexture to MyCM. So, this envmap will only applied to textures linked with MyCM, as for others, they are still using the vanilla CM_Baremetal for the envmap.
  2. No, a vibroblade it is- hahah! [an overhaul is a overhaul indeed. In fact, I actually have made some changes to the files there so, a rollback would be a pain on my nerves- lol!]. Oh no, I haven't seen the edited post last time I checked it. I have just seen it minutes ago actually. No, worries- no harm being done anyways. Ah-ha! That is a one nice idea- thanks for the input! The pleasure on me!
  3. Nice! I like those change with the modifications and the descriptions- they all are well written, thanks! As now the vibrosword officially becomes vibroblade, some values was replaced in the description to add to your added points. Noticeably with removing the "Special: Upgradeable, Melee" line, and fix some mentioning of sword instead of blade. As for the blaster, the "Special: Upgradeable, Ranged" line is also removed now. I keep your change untouched, but I decided to give one enhancement to it; "Energy damage bonus vs Droid with 1d4 of value". I want to make it sensible as there is an energy field on the blade, it should have an actual function there. I am happy and have confidence with the new blaster setup- thanks! 😁 Hahah! I like some, while some others are not, but overall- these changes fits me. I'll update the mod soon as I would have to recompile the files and the patcher again-as there is this change with a .uti header. Again, many thanks for the input, AFP!
  4. Many thanks, AFP! Appreciate it- go on then, as I'm all ears Yes! Thanks for the suggestion! The idea of having the sword to be non-upgradable is awesome- I get the picture, and I like it! Have it noted to be applied for the next update. And yes, reducing the base damage could be a possibility too, I'll take a visit to the .uti soon. Actually, having the blaster named as "SS-SL7 Rapid Blaster" and the sword as "DM-SL7 Vibrosword" was just an idea to honor the designer of the base texture and the base modeler of both the blaster and the sword; SithSpecter and DeadMan. As putting the SL7 there was just an alias for them being customs. I'll consider this Oh, in fact on Wiki stated that she carrying a Vibrosword, and then I'm using that as the guidance. I actually kind of forgot when in vanilla gameplay, which one is she carrying; a blade or a sword. 😅 Be my guest! So, here are them .utis to ease things up hopefully 😊: Blaster: sl7_rapidblaster.uti Sword: sl7_vibrosword.uti Yes, that's because of her voice being pitched down. Strange though I did not apply any filters or using multi layers for the voice there; it was all natural result. Unfortunately I can't fix that "glitch". Did you happen to know what's causing the problem? As it seems I'm still going with the new voices, as I believe they suits the now her better. Thanks for pointing that out AFP! Many thanks again! I hope someone can give me a screencap of how it looks, as I can only guessing that it would be a bit too sharp and kind of suggesting that there would be some unwanted noises there, sooorryyy 🤣
  6. Nice! Appreciate the input- many thanks! It seems I'm going to tweak the stats again and having it fixed in the next update using your recommendation as the benchmark. We'll see, as this stats was given referred to the plot that this Selven was designed to be encountered after all side-quests on Taris has been done; before the PC is going with Canderous to get the Ebon Hawk on Davik's Estate, that is the time in particular. Thanks for the approval! And again, I'm considering your recommendation. Actually, the belt was intended as a "reward" from beating Selven. As the now Selven is much harder to fight, I thought it'd be nice to prize the player after beating her with something efficient, especially on this stage of the game. And for the equipped Stealth Field Generator; it was for immersion purpose- referring to her being always able to elude the authorities, in spite of the level of security stacked against. Yes, having her not wearing the Neural Bands was intended too- and it's for appearance reason. There is a plan in future updates to have the Neural Bands looted from the footlocker inside her apartment, instead of her remains- along with some stuffs that I'm not 100% sure of.

  9. Nice to hear that! I am certain this mod would be compatible with mostly anything, including KP's "[KotOR] NPC Overhaul Mod" and ZM90's "KotOR 1 Restoration"; as this mod uses unique headers for textures, models, .utis and custom rows on .2das. The exception would be any other mods that potentially conflicted with "tar03_selven031.utc", or maybe any mods that "unfortunately" uses the same values for the models. Sure, you would have too! 😁 I have take a look at the mod's page, but haven't download it yet. Although I have downloaded the original pack from this thread.
  10. Appreciate the input! Yes, the unlooted armor was intended but, it could actually happen to be looted in the future updates. We'll see. And if you don't mind me asking; could I have your input about the attribution specifically to the stats both the blaster and the sword? If you actually have the time then for sure.   19. Nice, it would be less-difficult to make-up some history rather than stick with the actual fact to tell the truth lol. No, a name is not necessary right now. But I always have this thought that Selven actually have an important role with canon if, they really are connected. For example; point to the fact that Selven work as a freelance assassin for the highest bidder, it would be possible that She actually have an offer tabled by House Ulgo to wipe out House Organa back then. But maybe, that offer from Ulgo's was not tempting enough for her and meanwhile, Organa's tabled her a more interesting killing contract. So, she goes to work with House Organa then. So, here's the theory; if at that time she goes to work with Ulgo to wipe-out Organa and the assassination attempt was a success, maybe we wouldn't have Leia Organa on canon then. I haven't told you the plan anyway. So, the plan is to expand Selven story without distracting the canon KotOR storyline, and I believe, some research would be necessary.

  22. You have done right with putting the dialog.tlk into the main SW:KotOR directory, and I believe it should have work then. Are you sure it is not working? The mod is working noticeably on the early Endar Spire scene when Trask is asking you to go and save Bastila, the proper response would be: "Fine, let's go.", if I recalled the sentence correctly. Sorry I can't afford you a proper screencap as the electricity's down in my town right now :sigh: Ah-ha! as the electricity is now up-and-running, I can afford you a screencap here: This could be useful as a notion to the mod being properly working or no- earlier in the game.

  24. And at this very moment I know- that there's something fishy with the movie back then. The first time I watch the movie [about last March] was about the very first time I play KotOR too, and I convinced that there are no Jedi robes with cape in the game; and this scene hit the hammer on my head real hurt! 🤣
