Ah. I got confused by Mission and Zaalbar being in the screenshot.
-
What mod are you using to get the TSL HUD in K1?
-
I managed to pull off the hex edit and now it works like a charm. Now I just have to hope I don't re-encounter the bug I got the last time I tried TSLRCM.
-
1920x1080
-
So... I downloaded the widescreen mod for TSL movies from the Nexus, including the TSLRCM patch but it doesn't seem to work. All my movies still default to the low resolution format. EDIT: To clarify, I use the GOG version of the game.
-
Have you double-checked the paths? Sometimes KSE needs to be reminded where TSL is installed since it defaults to the original retail path.

How would I edit that file?
-
For me it's a matter of narrative as well as gameplay. If I reload to a previous save or slaughter the Sand People it changes what Revan has "accomplished" in my playthrough. I want to let the Sand People live, hear the history, and keep the pearl without having to fire up the save editor or use the cheat console.
-
Well... the Republic uniform already exists, so theoretically I should be able to apply it to one of the clothing lines and use existing appearances for subsequent outfits, right?
-
I'm aware of it. I just wanted to give her a generic civilian outfit so she's not strutting her stuff in Jedi robes.
-
Hm. I was going to try and figure out a way to alter 2 or 3 of them so one of them turns into a Republic armor set for the player and the others become disguises for Carth, Bastila, Juhani, and Jolee since them walking around in their distinctive outfits on Taris and Korriban is a little... out of place. EDIT: But I still want the initial clothing to remain vanilla. I'm just not sure how to make it all happen. I imagine it requires modifying the appearance.2da file.
-
So... when I went through the files of KotOR, I found that there are around 8 different versions of the basic clothing. Would it be possible to make it so each one provides a different look from one another. For example, the default has the same look as the default Scout clothing while another looks like the NPC Republic armor?

Appreciate the response, Salk. I'd personally prefer a mod that allows me to keep the one Komad gives me, but this should serve as a decent substitute.
-
Does anyone know of a mod that makes it so the Sand People storyteller doesn't take the Krayt Dragon pearl from you? I feel like just presenting it would warrant being able to hear their history while still allowing Revan to keep it for their lightsaber.

Thaanks, Ebby and DP. I've done a clean install of the game and all mods using the INSTALL.exe from the latest K1CP and all my tests thus far have resolved the issue. Now it's just a matter of hoping it doesn't go wrong elsewhere.
-
I'm pretty sure the only one I have that modifies that particular .MOD file is K1CP. I've done a clean install. Vanilla Rukil behaves properly so far. I'm going to reintroduce K1CP first and see what happens.

To clarify, I can complete the quest just fine. My issue is that every time I talk to him after turning in the 1st journal, he repeats the history of Taris instead of the usual "You have returned."
-
So, I was on Taris and got to the quest to locate Rukil's apprentice in the Undercity. I like to do a bunch of stuff at once so I explore all of the outer Undercity and get the Rakghoul serum, meet Canderous, and recover Malya's journal. I get the next part of the quest where I'm tasked with finding the journals of Rukil's father and grandfather so I grab them out of the sewers. Normally, I wait until I clear the Vulkar base to give them to Rukil but I decided to go back. And Rukil acts like I never found Malya's journal in the first place. At first I thought the issue came from installing the Bendak light side bounty mod halfway through Taris so I did a fresh run but the issue persists. My mods are: - KotOR 1 Community Patch - Sabers of the Old Republic - Sunry Murder Enhancement - K1 Bodies Stay - JC's Saber Effects - JC's Blaster Effects - JC's Back in Black - Helena Shan Improvement - High Quality Blasters - Iriaz on Dantooine (I do NOT have KotOR Restored Content Mod) - K1 Diversified Star Forge Prisoners - K1 Diversified Soldiers on Taris - TSL Ported Animated Swoop Monitors - Remove Force Armor Restrictions - Canon Galaxy Map - JC's Robe Adjustment - K1 Faster Scuba - JC's Security Spikes for K1 - JC's Dense Aliens - K1 Lite Upgrades - K1 Party Leveler - K1 Ported Alien Voices - Spectral Ajuna Pall Canonical Appearance - Traditional Mandalorian Blades - Training Sabers - The Real Vibroblade - Realistic Visual Effects - Balanced Pazaak - Leviathan Differentiated Dialogue - Sandpeople Disguise Fix - AI Upscaled Movies - SWTOR Revan Voice None of these mods seem like the type to cause these issues, but I am out of ideas. I have a few more that I can't remember right now but I will update once I'm home. I posted the ones I do remember in hopes it'll give some guidance as I've never had this issue before. That said, I did also make use of Flawless Widescreen but uninstalled it and replaced it with Unwis before I ever entered the Undercity. EDIT: Completed mod list.

I would appreciate it. I use JC's lightsaber blade effects myself, but having a way to have SotOR inject the files would be an amazing new feature. I'm also trying to figure out how to rig my own .mod injection so I can get Bandon to be using his lightsaber model on the Endar Spire and on Manaan. EDIT: I also still have a clean version of the SotOR files if you need it. Though I doubt it since you made the mods.

SotOR is Kaidon Jorn's old Sabers of the Old Republic mod. The reason I believe there's a conflict is because, when I run the TSL patcher for SotOR after K1CP it says that the .mod files SotOR would patch already exist and it is skipping those files. Since I value the fixes of K1CP above all, I always run K1CP first. I just want to be sure they both work if I can.
