I gotta say Jorak, you make some of my favorite graphics mods. I wish you good luck with all the other planets and such.

Let's see here, one mod I'd definitely recommend is a short campaign mod called Emissary, where you control a band of Darkspawn. It is pretty short, but it is very interesting. http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1152/? 2 more mods I'd recommend are ZevranASAP and Sleep Until Dawn. http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/3722/? http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/840/?

I actually just decided to test this out by turning Frame Buffer Effects, Anti Aliasing, and Anisotropic Filtering off and setting the texture quality to low, and no matter what I did the hologram effect remained. I'd have to agree that it's probably a graphics card issue, especially since I remember that before I got my current graphics card, the hologram effect wouldn't display.

Remember kids: messing up references to poetry will make people think you are going through an existential crisis.

"Let this be known as the day you *almost* referenced poetry."
Alternately:
"Let this be known as the day you *almost* got that reference!"

SH: I was at Xuul's stream, and I kept typing the same things as someone else who was there, so I decided to make a joke that we were clones by making a poetry reference. I messed it up and said something like "You are my clone, and you are mine", and everyone started joking that I was going through an existential crisis.
Not my greatest moment, to be sure.

Could be worse. You could have been accused of writing very self involved Star Wars slash porn.

My Projects In the Pipeline (mostly texture related)
scoutception replied to Malkior's topic in Work In Progress
I agree with DarthParametric. I also gotta ask, are you planing on improving the eyes for the Rodians? They look pretty out of place compared to the rest of the (fantastic looking, I have to say) head. -
Wait, in what way is WOTOR not compatible with K1R? I did a playthrough with both those mods, and it worked pretty well.

YES. I have always wanted a mod for Revan's proper lightsaber in KOTOR 1. Giving other characters unique hilts too is pretty neat, though I honestly don't think anyone other than the ones you listed need them. Also, why is it the lightsaber can't have the name of your PC? It worked in TSL for your personal armband.

Now that's some great news. I'd say the the NPC Overhaul is one of my essentials for TSL.

Star Forge travel Black Screen
scoutception replied to LexxBludhart's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
I can confirm that it is also an issue in vanilla KOTOR. One of those files, 03 if I'm remembering correctly, can also cause Bastila to be invisible during the interrogation scene on the Leviathan. Other than that and the black screen issue, of course, they don't seem to cause that many issues with the game, so you can probably still keep them in the override folder until those issues happen. -
Apparently the internal hard drive of my computer is in danger of completely crashing. Just wonderful.

Download:Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge
scoutception replied to Fair Strides's topic in Mod Releases
So, does that mean that this version is going to need a update for this problem? -

What is the fastest way to build your lightsaber? (possible spoiler?)
scoutception replied to Sogazu's topic in TSLRCM
I haven't played TSLRCM in forever and a half, but I'm pretty sure that once you encounter Visas on the Ebon Hawk after the Red Eclipse thing, you can leave the planet without triggering the part of the storyline that keeps you from leaving, as long as you don't leave the Ebon Hawk after the encounter. -
When I started playing KotOR/TSL I....
scoutception replied to milestails's topic in Knights of the Old Republic General
The first time I played KOTOR, it felt like it was freaking gigantic. I remember just getting to the Undercity felt like a huge triumph. Then I got stuck at the rancor, quit it for I don't even know how long, and eventually found the solution somewhere. Then I discovered that my copy had a bug where it would crash every time I tried to get to Dantooine. So yeah, for a while, my experience with KOTOR in general was just going through Taris a bunch. Maybe that's why it feels like all the other planets in KOTOR are tiny compared to Taris. -
K1R - Bugs and Saves Needed
scoutception replied to Fair Strides's topic in KotOR1 Restoration (K1R)
If you want, I could start up a new game to see about those Taris bugs. Shouldn't take me too long. -
Since you already have your problem solved, let me give you a bit of compatibility advice: you are going to want to uninstall Quanon's Lightsaber pack. I found out the hard way that it conflicts with K1R and causes a game breaking bug on Kashyyyk. The NPC Overhaul also conflicts with K1R, but I guess you got that taken care of.

My Projects In the Pipeline (mostly texture related)
scoutception replied to Malkior's topic in Work In Progress
No problem. Glad I could help. Also, those eyes you have for the Duros make them look like Neimoidians. Course, they look really similar anyway, so maybe that's not a problem. Edit: So, according to Wookiepedia, Duros and Neimoidians are distant genetic relatives. So, they kinda are the same thing. -

scoutception replied to Malkior's topic in Work In Progress
Hmm, that's a good question. After comparing the vanilla Ithorians to yours, I think the problem is that they have this sort of droopy-eyed look that somehow makes them seem off. If I had to suggest something, I'd say try to widen the sides of the eyes just before the sclera a bit, and picking up the eyelids a bit so they don't look like they're frowning. -

scoutception replied to Malkior's topic in Work In Progress
I'm gonna be honest, those Ithorians look kinda creepy to me, especially the second picture. I think it might be the eyes. Something just seems a bit, off. Other than that, I gotta say, great job so far. I look forward to seeing where this goes. -
Awesome to finally have it here. It's really nice to see people focusing on improving how KOTOR looks, especially the (kinda) less noticeable stuff. Also, 9 months? Bet that's a giant load off your back.

Wow, I never realized how bad those rocks looked until now. Also, I'm just going to take this opportunity to say I love your Ebon Hawk retexture for the first KOTOR. Nice to see you're still active.
