Some folks just like it when there's absolutely no question as to why something goes a certain way in a story. I'll go as far as to say "Yeah, I'm wondering where he went", but I wouldn't call it a plothole that such a question's not directly answered. Though it was meant to be crystal clear in the original script, I'm sure, I suppose it's now sort of the same as questioning "What happened to Revan?" -

I think for the same reason extended Korriban landing is its own mod. Some might consider it extraneous or speculate it was intentionally cut rather than left out due to rush, so it's left to player preference if one wishes to include it or not. I would, if Partyswap weren't such a necessity imo, but I think it was overall the right decision - that being said, I wouldn't mind if that minor plothole had been covered up, but it's not that hard to infer a solution -
Really? I thought it was still in there but only available on a third playthrough with "easter egg mode" active

So.... hate to beat a dead horse, but is there any chance at all of TSLRCM being back up on this site any time soon? I understand everyone has a life with things going on in it, but I have to comment, especially considering the content of the posts in this very thread, things are beginning to seem absurd. This has been an ongoing issue for around 4 months, now, I believe. RCM's availability has come into question more than once, and I've seen some fans wondering if the mod is dead entirely without explanation. ModDB is not as well known a place for RCM, and some players are unable or unwilling to use the Steam workshop version - and at that, the latest version of M4-78 is available exclusively through the latter avenue. I'm not sure if older versions are available anywhere online What should have been a relatively quick and easy fix, even if a temporary solution of making a movie silent or even removing it until the issue was resolved, has ended up becoming something that's gone on for months, potentially approaching time taking the better half of a whole year. So, for the sake of the Kotor fan community at large, just what's going on?

Party Member Conversations in Apartment and Ebon Hawk (K1)

I'd be for it. Your character's dialogue choices are completely meaningless and just serve to interrupt the flow of the conversation anyways. Doesn't change any responses, doesn't give you any alignment, and influence wasn't a thing yet, so I'm 100% for it. Those Hawk scenes in K2 are a highlight of the game for me, and some of the best companion to companion conversations (like Carth and Canderous, Bastilla and Jolee) I just never see because I don't use those combinations -
Hmm.... Uthar, Yuthura, custom Malak, HK, Saul and Varko incorporated into the dark side ending with completely robed Revan. Do I smell something for perhaps an upcoming movie here? Anyways, I am no expert on things like these - but perhaps reducing dynamic lighting, sad a loss as that would be, might help with lag. I know M4-78 1.2 had issues with lag due to a large amount of objects' shadows rendering. It's definitely related to having so many complex character models on screen at once, and shadows may be related. If that alone doesn't do it, then editing in a very particular way might be the only option

Find the .mod file for that area and remove or rename it. It'll restore the vanilla module for that area, so you'll miss out on the GenoHaradan guy's transformations, but you'll be able to progress

Kotor Collection needs patch 1.0b?

I'd be for it. I'm actually of the opinion that the flow of the ending sequence of Kotor II is pretty good as it is, and this wouldn't do much in the way of harming it

I'm afraid I can't exactly help, but I can answer that last question saying that this blog entry has me pondering if, once a good way to emulate the filter is found, a future RCM update might fix some of those unfiltered lines. Now that'd be a good fix -

If that's the case, you've encountered a glitch. At the very least, using TSLRCM, the skillset of whoever you're currently controlling will be used at a workbench/lab. Maybe in vanilla it works differently, but I'm honestly not sure

That's already how it works. You can't do it on the Hawk, since you'd need to control other party members. I'd imagine it'd be a bit hard to figure out a way to work that, but several planets have a workbench just tiny distance from the landing pad (Nar Shaddaa has one in Tien's garage about 30 seconds away) where you can switch in whomever you want

Hi. First off, normally when reporting bugs, please use the format in this thread However, I can tell you right now this is a well-known bug in both Kotor games regardless of if mods are used or not. It has to do with memory leak. The longer you play and the more save/load screens the game processes, the game comes closer to being unable to properly run itself, basically. The "fast dialogue" is the first sign you need to quit and restart. Afterwards, some graphics might mess up and, ultimately, it'll crash anyways. Nothing to do with the mod and completely normal, for better or worse

Right in the middle of the Jedi enclave? Seems a little bit odd. Then again, there are mods to kill Kadir and Gorton Colu right then and there, and probably even more "kill NPC" mods I don't know of. Not long before "Kill anyone". I'll try this out!

Well, it's confirmed the Reddit mod build is incompatible with K1R, but I don't know exactly which mods cause the problem. Fair Strides and/or Snigaroo might be able to tell you There is a way to get out of that scene, but since you're combining the build with K1R, it's very likely you'll run into more problems
