This mod is a small fix for a couple of wall panels in the entranceway of the Taris Upper City cantina. For some reason the mesh for this particular pair of panels was split off into a different model from the rest of the room. More importantly, it was assigned a lightmap that doesn't exist, thus it appears black in-game. To solve this, a duplicate of the adjoining panels was added to the entranceway room model in the appropriate position and the original mesh removed. To install, simply drop the MDL/MDX files into your Override. Compatibility: Won't be compatible with any other mods that edit those two room models, but the likelihood of that is low. Acknowledgements: Thanks to @bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit Thanks to @ebmar for bringing the issue to my attention -

Good afternoon. I worked very long on these textures. I can call them one of the best of my works. The archive contains 2 textures: the texture of the woman's form and the shape of the man. The resolution of the textures is 2048X2048. This resolution allows you to carefully draw each piece of equipment. Attention was paid to everything: rivets, buckles, shadows, cloth, chevrons. Enjoy. -

This mod replace the default Ajunta Pall's Blade appearance with the "Legends" rendition. # Background # The blade of the fallen, Ajunta Pall's Blade - I have always thought about something that is dark-enigmatic about the blade after hearing those words, so this project was started to accommodate the idea. # About this Mod # This mod replace the default Ajunta Pall's Blade appearance with the "Legends" rendition. The new blade is using the amazing IRobert's [K1] Vibroweapons replacement pack retexture base texture and model, which having that science-fantasy feeling to its design and concept. I edited them later particularly on coloring and scheming to match my interpretation of the blade. IRobert gave permission for everyone to freely use, change or modify the mod with *redistribution* policies applies. * With v1.0.2 included the model fix kindly provided by the infamous Dark Lord of the Sith, DarthParametric. It's a fix for holes in the meshes of the hilt which causes artefacts with the shadow casting. The new blade trying to fits the concept of the true Ajunta Pall's blade, which described as - Those features can be seen on the blade now. # Final Remarks # I suggest you to install VarsityPuppet's Spectral Ajunta Pall Canonical Appearance first and then install this mod after. This mod aims to complete the Ajunta Pall's personal items part. There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. Just make sure to choose it only after those mods has The main installation of this mod is not compatible with the said mods, and/or any mods that hard-overwrite the Tomb of Ajunta Pall/korr_m37aa module For this mod to be fully effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Tomb of Ajunta Pall [korr_m37aa] module The mod is play-tested with both the latest version of KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and K1:Community Patch/K1CP installed and is compatible with them Redistribution: do not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites. I'd love to provide direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered everywhere. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included. 1 pointThis blog post is actually for my own reference so I don't have to seek out which of the many posts I've mentioned it in. When folks mention their "big modding project" or their "huge overhaul" of either KotOR1 or KotOR2, here's what I used to quote... If you actually wish to see if a large scale project will make it to release, see if they follow this advice. If they don't, that project likely won't make it. You may use the above quote to remind folks when "the next big thing" rolls around.

1 pointFor the record, if you need raw-ish comparing done on binary files, I have a software for that. In case you want checking done on differences between vanilla and compiled models. I’m in the process of moving right now though, but that should ease in a couple of days. Just in case.

1 pointA background with more light - like Tatooine - might be better to show off this skin.

1 pointWhile my experience isn't exactly the same as it's a machinima as apposed to a modding project, I can attest strongly to what SH has said: Voice actors should come as late in a project as possible.

1 pointHey, ebmar. I really like this mod and I'm glad to report that it conflicts with nothing, especially the (in my opinion all-important) Ajunta mod by VarsityPuppet (hopefully it gets finished soon 😁), and I'm always glad to see new or improved unique weapons, as that's something that KotOR (1 especially) severely lacks. I'm also thankful that the new textures don't show up before the notched steel sword is revealed to be Ajunta's blade. I do however, have one critique, and it is a major one: "hearkens night and silences the light." That's not how a poet would describe a sword with a gleaming white blade, especially when the blade itself is what "silences the light." In my view, the blade should be black. So black that it's devoid of light. I'd suggest talking to JCarter426 and seeing if you can find a way to integrate part of his Darksaber into the blade of Ajunta's sword (or perhaps you could construct something similar without too much trouble, I have no experience with this type of thing so, just trying to give you options). The way that the Darksaber looks as though the light is being swallowed up by the dark is a flawless fit for Ajunta's sword.

1 pointAfter countless time revisiting the Upper City cantina, I have just noticed a weird thing with its wall. I thought this problem was local with my end, but then I checked some UC cantina's footage on YT and it seems it was shown on others end too. Is this black wall thing fixable?

1 pointMany thanks for the feedback! Very much appreciated the thoughts. Thanks, glad to hear that! I hope the thoughts could be accomplished one time! And I have noticed you have done something that are steps forwards in fact with Recruitable Maxis. I haven't tried the mod actually, but looking forwards to have a go with it in the next playthrough! ☺️ Again, many thanks for the appreciation! Glad that you're impressed. Thanks! Appreciate it. Appreciate the feedback, thanks! Yes, I am certain some will like and some will not with the applied effect- as I can't actually pleased everyone with all is said and done. Maybe, in the next attempt I could try another version which can closely accommodate yours and others preferences. ____________________________________________ I will take this opportunity also to give a heads-up with the recent update that is going on recently. [Updated: August 22, 2018] The Korriban portion of the series has been completed. 4. Korriban [Completed: August 20, 2018] Ajunta Pall's Blade "Legends" [featuring IRobert's "[K1] Vibroweapons Replacement Pack Retexture"] Ajunta Pall's Voice "Legends" [featuring VarsityPuppet's "Spectral Ajunta Pall Canonical Appearance" in the preview] ____________________________________________ Meanwhile, from Tatooine portion of the series; progress has been going with Komad Fortuna "Legends" particularly his appearance inside the Hunting Lodge: In fact, all files for his release had been compiled and the installer has been ready. But still I am not 100% sure about his clothing option. Still digging for another ideas. The focal point of the idea was; to have Komad two different appearances between the Hunting Lodge, the Krayt Dragon's lair, and his appearance on Kashyyyk [possible light side path]. His appearance in the Krayt Dragon's lair will be the one that is different because he would wear an armor there. Any updates of current development will also be posted in thread's introduction post.

This mod will add two new, playable heads. They are based on the fan favourite head from KotOR 1 known as "Mullet Man" (PMHC04). I have modified TSL assets (to avoid porting), mostly PMHH01 model and texture to get as close as possible to the original appearance. There is also a second head model where I cribbed together parts of PMHH01 with the long spiky hair from N_ZezKaiEllH and the bangs from PMHC04 (again, only using TSL assets). The first model was able to maintain the edge smoothing from the original model, but doesn't get the iconic hair that Mullet Man was known for. The second model does achieve the epic hair, but at the cost of having hard edges around the jawline and hairline (due to limitations in the modding process at the moment). You get to choose, which of the twins will you rule the galaxy with?
