4 pointsI've given Dodonna the admiral's sash and swapped out the gloves for her original hands (necessitating grafting some sleeves back on). She seems to have a man-hands thing going on, but I don't want to have screw around with it further given her limited screen time. I'm also working on changing the hologram appearance. That is such a pain in the ass with the way Bioware did it vs what Obsidian did in TSL. I'm also fixing up holo Vandar at the same time to make them consistent, although trying to get his eyes to show up properly is proving difficult. Edit: Fixed the eyes, but now I am fighting the animations. Besides compiling issues, for some reason I cannot get the animations to respect the partial alpha values it is supposed to be using. You can see an example of the sort of thing in the Dodonna pictures - her face isn't transparent. The rest of the body parts haven't had custom animations added yet, so they are just using the base alpha value (which is 0.5).

3 points"Quite a transition, for a grizzled soldier..." an old familiar voice spoke. "Moisture farming... so not you..." Flint Jaegar turned away from the moisture vaporator he planted into the soil dug away from the coarse sand, to face his old Commanding Officer. "Admiral..." he saluted. "At ease... you aren't under my command anymore..." Jaegar lowered his mechanical arm. "You're a long way from the core worlds..." "I would not have come if it was not an urgent matter, believe me Jaegar." Jaegar lowered his head. "I don't do that sort of work anymore, Admiral...". He turned and knelt down continue tweeking with the moisture vaporator planted into the soil. As soon as the lights on the meter begun flashing, he flicked the lever and the vaporator plunged its legs into the earth to lock into place. "I knew you would say that..." the Admiral smirked. Jaegar huffed. "You came all the way out here just to hear me say that?" The Admiral walked forwards, and stopped to admire Jaegar's handy work. He followed him to the next marked spot. Farming for water was no easy task, especially on Tatooine. "I came all the way out here to make you an offer, Flint." he reached into his Jacket, and pulled out a datapad. He handed it to Flint. His prosthetic eye glowed brighter. "...you found her..." "We can grant you full custody, Flint. We can offer you and her a better life." "...and what if she doesn't want to see me?" he looked up at the admiral. Jaegar's prosthetic eye, although expressionless, could somehow project his grief and sorrow. "I'm offering you a second chance. The rest is up to you." The admiral stated. Jaegar hesitated... breathed a heavy sigh. Then looked back up at the Admiral with fierce determination. "What's the mission?" PRESENT DAY, TYTHON The meeting had already begun. Jaegar and the Admiral were still lightyears away from Tython. So they had to make due with the virtual presence of holograms broadcasted from their ship, to take their place during the meeting. The Jedi were already aware of this, and were very accommodating. After all, they needed all the help they could get. As soon as the meeting is adjourned, and Jaegar is briefed, then they should be able to rendezvous with the team. The admiral had already filled in some of the basic details regarding the retrieval of Master Voleran and the classified data - but there was obviously more to it than that. "I want both Voleran and our information back in one piece. Alive, not the alternative." Which was more important was the real question - was the sensitivity of such information more important than the life of a Jedi? Or the other way around? Jaegar knew from experience It cannot work both ways. "When was he last seen? Do we have any leads?" Jaegar gruffly spoke from his projection.

2 pointsTython - Jedi Council Chamber "We've had a security breach here on Tython ... Master Voleran has disappeared..." The hairs on the back of Varik's neck stood up on end. This meeting was more serious than he thought. He leaned forward in his seat, clasping his hands and staring down at the central holoprojector. Security breach? How could the Jedi Order get a security breach? Here? On Tython? What really bothered him was the second bit about Voleran. It's one thing for a Jedi Master to disappear, but with sensitive data? Obviously no good could come from that combination. "What do you mean, missing?" His eyebrows narrowed and his face turned into a slight scowl. "How does a Jedi Master go missing?" He looked over at Kif. He appeared to share the same sentiment. However, he was much more tense, squeezing his fists and looking as if he was biting his tongue. Oh no. I know that look. Kif shot out of his seat and slammed his hands down on the briefing table, leaning forward. Don't do it Kif. Sit back down. NOW. "I could tell you what that means! Even a blind man can see it!" Kif snarled. "It means one of two things. Either he's dead, or he's turned traitor." Varik audibly groaned and pressed one of his palms to his face. Shut UP Kif! Don't make a fool of yourself here! Kif flew his arms out incredulously. "I mean, are you kidding me? How else would a Jedi go missing? WHY else? This is an absolute mess you guys-" Varik yanked back his free hand. Kif promptly flew back into his seat. "Calm down Kif! Get a grip!"

KotOR Savegame Editor is a Perl/Tk application used in the editing of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic savegame files. The following fields are currently editable: - Savegame name - Player name - NPC Name - Appearance (player and party) - Portrait (player and party) - Attributes - Skill Ranks - Equipment (player and party)*** - Feats (add/remove)** - Powers (add/remove)** - Cheats Used flag - Hit Points (current and max*) - Force Points (current and max*) - Experience Points (player and party) - Good/Evil rating - Credits - Time played - Class (see notes below)** - Levels - Current Party - NPCs - Global Booleans - Global Numerics - Gender - Min1HP - Inventory** - Influence (TSL only) - Chemicals (TSL only) - Components (TSL only) - Quests *=Note: Max Hit Points and Max Force Points, while editable appear to be calculated at the time the savegame is loaded. Therefore while these fields are editable, the game will change the values back to what it calculates as correct. It is therefore better to change your Wis/Cha and Con to affect your MFP and MHP. ** Not supported on Xbox Saves, will cause "Damaged Savegame" message. *** See special section for detailed instructions ----------------- Credits ----------------- tk102 for originally creating the KSE. 1 point[Updated: December 16, 2019] # 00. Disclaimer # I thought making this Legends overhaul as a series would do good for my own pace in modding terms. # 01. Background # Legends. Why does this project called one? First of all, this series had not related at all with the Star Wars Legends; though it was very much inspired by them. It was called as one because I believe this would give me more freedom on how I wanted to shape the mod and its series. Referencing to the general term of Legend [Keep it noted that I have the following explanation edited for my likings, lol] - So, that's all for the introduction. And with the release of Selven and Lyn Sekla, I decided to put myself into a series of mod that will be called as Legends, and this will consists mostly on reskinning and re-building stats and also their attribution of the particular objects and if possible; some new custom items. These will be done as my playthrough goes while I decide which elements that I want to overhaul, while also considering the risk for it'd be game breaking or no. I'm going to take which path with the lesser risk, and which is more interesting for me. # 02. Planning # 1. 1 pointJust to update y'all: I have received the line recordings from @UnusualCharactersbut then I realized, I forgot one line that would refer to a female player. So the lines are almost all done. (They sound great.) The other lines have been split out to separate files. Once I get that last line, I'll be forwarding them all to @eNoodlesso he can put together the rest of the mod. Update to the update: Lines finished and forwarded.

1 pointTYTHON: JEDI TEMPLE: COUNCIL CHAMBER Security breach? Vesi blinked. Beings who possessed implant nodules in their skulls felt sheer terror, not mere concern, whenever they heard those two words. It meant the Temple had been compromised, either by hacking or Force use. Both were massively unappealing. If cyber-criminals had circumvented their sanctuary's security systems, it meant a reaming for the guards and the agents assigned to maintain them. The thing was, they'd dealt with several such attacks and had apprehended those responsible without a Council meeting. As far as the masses in the Temple were concerned - and Jedi were among them - the less public these breaches were, the better. As for Vesi herself, she'd suffered one or two cybernetic illnesses because of them, but none severe enough to take her down. Ringing in the ears, migraine headaches, and spotty vision were serious, but for one of her kind, not debilitating. A security compromise this bad, however? One that required the attention of Grandmaster Satele Shan herself? I could die, Vesi thought. I'd better see an implant tech as soon as this meeting is over, but what if the breach has nothing to do with cyberware? Even worse. We could ALL die if that's so. Hackers are one thing, but malevolent Force users - including the Sith - are another. "Remain calm," Grandmaster Shan told her audience, Jedi and ordinary members alike. "If we panic, then we yield to the perpetrators before our investigation's even started. Along with this deliberate assault on our security systems, one of our own has gone missing." Murmurs of shock. Vesi bit down on her lower lip, then released it when she saw Master Vek give her a reassuring glance. Although Miraluka were born without eyes, their subtle body language, both mundane and through the Force, was more telling than any stare. "Master Voleran," continued Shan, "has disappeared - as has a quantity of highly-classified data." "Which data?" asked Master Vek, after raising her hand and being given permission to speak. "Voleran has full access to our..." "Archives?" Shan nodded. "Indeed, although the nature and amount of such data shall also remain classified. I shall release it only to those I select for a critical recovery mission. I want both Voleran and our information back in one piece. Alive, not the alternative." Young Vesi found her head swimming, and not just because she needed a brief implant recharge.

1 pointI debated whether or not to post this in the droid thread, but seeing as this is a direct port and not my own work I figured it more rightly belonged here. Scorpio, Imperial Agent companion from TOR, as a protocol droid: The shoulders are a bit wacky because of the width of the vanilla protocol droid rig. I had to do a lot of vert shuffling to try and match its long monkey-like arms. I widened the torso, but there's still a bit too much of a gap in some animations. But I didn't want to go too far or it would distort the proportions too much, and result in clipping problems. If it was going to be actually used in either game, it would probably need some new female VO. Would pitch-shifting the vanilla VO be sufficient?
-
1 pointDamn, first HK, then Atton, now Jolee! This guy's the Mark Hamill of Star Wars voices! ...maybe I should reword that -.-'
-
1 pointDudeeee that VO made my day. It's so good, a little more fast pace than his original VO but that's by far the best imitation I've heard in any mod (kotor or other games). Great job.
-
1 pointYup, I ported that for the movie. Those are the master robes from K2. Yce wanted Vrook to wear the same robes he wore in his films. That's not really in releasable condition - I don't remember if his cape even animated. I'm working on a proper robe port now, however.

0 pointsThe need at all for this blog post blog post brings warm feelings to my heart. We’ve always had a decently-sized community, but we were always kind of under the radar of the modding community. I’ve had people who have known me for years as a modder tell me they were surprised to find out I was involved with the movies as well. But it’s true - I’m one of the animators for the KOTOR Movie Saga. More than ten years ago, I was inspired by the original KOTOR Episode I to make my own projects. I initially made some comics, which I’ve posted about here, and I later started my own movie adaptation of KOTOR II (which I still haven’t finished). The director of Episode I @KOTOR_Trilogysaw the work I was doing there and asked for help with Episode II to do a few things he couldn’t do on the Xbox version. I also worked with him to update Episode II when we screened it at MAGFest, and then we were asked to come back within a year for Episode III. At the time, @DarthYcey was working on his own KOTOR II films and he came on board so we could actually get the film done in time. We now consider his Meetra films as a continuation of the Loganverse trilogy in one shared KOTOR Cinematic Universe, but that’s a whole mess of a story that I won’t get into right now. Anyway, @Jenko also joined us and more recently directed the special edition of Episode I, which just had its birthday last Thursday. So that’s the four of us. Mr Director and his three animators. We’re currently in preproduction on two new projects: Revan, a prequel trilogy set during the Mandalorian Wars, and Heroes of the Old Republic, an anthology webseries of little side stories that wouldn’t fit in the films. Until now, all these goings-on have occurred in the shadows. We never drew any attention on LucasForums. I think I posted Episode III when it came out and nobody replied. If I had to hazard a guess, I’d put it down to LucasForums not having a very active fan media section. There were forums for for it, but not a lot happening in them. People went to the site for mods. On the other hand, a lot of Loganverse fans (myself included) discovered the movies because they were specifically looking for Star Wars fan films or new KOTOR content, and weren’t necessarily interested in modding the game. So there isn’t as much overlap as one might think. Recently, though, I’ve noticed we’ve started to attract more notice - or in more cases, actually, I’ve learned that certain individuals were already aware of the films and just never mentioned it to me (maybe because they didn’t know I was aware of and involved with them). Whatever the case, we’re out in the open now and while it wasn’t a big secret before, I’m now trying to be more open about my involvement and exactly what that entails. And that segue brings us back to the matter at hand. Lately, I’ve seen requests for some material from our films to be released as mods. I want to talk about why that hasn’t happened so much and what you can do to maybe change that. First, I want to point out that not a lot of our stuff would work as mods. The scenes in the films were recorded solely for film purposes and utilize a lot of camera tricks and editing that can’t be done in the game. Most of the scenes aren’t complete in-game cutscenes. Even when I do program an entire scene, I don’t input each specific camera angle in the dialogue file that you’d need to do for a mod. Instead, I record the entire scene from every camera angle and turn the footage into a multi-cam sequence in Adobe Premiere. I do it that way because the game generally forces you to change angles at the start of a line of dialogue, but we don’t always want to do that when editing a film. Mr Director even asked me about this one time - he was wondering if, provided they had all the right files, someone could execute a scene and essentially see the whole movie in the game. And I could probably do that, but it would involve a lot more work than is necessary to make the movie and I’ve only ever done what’s needed for the movie. Unless we specifically plan for a scene to be released as a mod, it’s not a realistic prospect. What’s more eligible for release would be the assets we use to create these scenes - characters, outfits, locations, that sort of thing. And there hasn’t been much of that - yet. We’ve had to hold ourselves back a few times when we thought stuff would be filmed on the Xbox and therefore couldn’t utilize any modded assets. A few times this wasn’t necessary, and if I could redo things with that knowledge, Episode III would look a fair bit different. Canderous wouldn’t wear blue armor and a lot of the characters on Korriban wouldn’t wear officer uniforms. There were only a few cases where we knew we would record on PC and could do whatever we wanted. The earliest such case I recall is the Sith outpost scene early in the film (the one recorded in the Vulkar base). Since Logan had changed so much between films, Mr Director wanted his outfit to change too. We knew that I’d be recording that scene and that Logan would change clothes early in the film, so it wasn’t a problem to give Logan a custom outfit there. I dug through my files and we ended up using a texture I’d made years earlier. Another one that stands out is the Zabrak character Kondor Moderro. I remember making that the night I got back from the Episode II screening. We had a creative meeting in Mr Director's hotel room; he told us his plans for the character and asked if it was possible to add a new alien to K1 since we’d have to record all Moderro's scenes on PC anyway, given that he was a new character. Bastila’s outfit was another addition and in that case it was actually because there wasn’t a mod for it. Again, we knew her scenes would be another PC thing (you can’t use the Xbox freecam during those duels) so Mr Director thought of changing her outfit. He saw something he liked online but the mod was never released, so I came up with an approximation to use for the film. Things have changed since then - from now on, we’re recording everything on PC and the new projects involve new characters and locations that most definitely will involve new assets. But from our past works, only a few isolated bits come to mind. And for those, the most common scenario is that it simply hasn’t occurred to us to release it. As I mentioned before, Mr Director is an Xbox guy, and of the animator trio I’m the only one who has released mods at all. I’ve been on the modding scene as long as I’ve been working on these movies, but the other guys only got into this stuff for the films. So the real question is why JC hasn’t released anything. Again, the usual answer is I didn’t think of it. I’m really bad at releasing things. I have tons and tons of unreleased material - unfinished or abandoned project, things I changed my mind about, or some stuff I just haven’t used yet. Logan’s Episode III outfit was one such case. That was one of a bunch of textures I made back in 2009 and I still haven’t used the others for anything. I have a backlog of useless assets and a lot of it I don’t think is worth releasing. Not necessarily because it’s bad (and a lot of it is) but because of the futility of it. “A bunch of robe recolors I made in 2009” doesn’t sound appealing for a mod. Plus there’s all the work required to test the mod (I don’t get much time to play the games these days) and write up a proper installer so it will be compatible with other mods (I usually manually edit my 2DAs and other files and have a totally garbage build with years of such clutter that barely works for recording purposes) and taking screenshots (I hate taking screenshots) and so on. The mods I actually do release are only released thanks to a focused, concentrated effort to release them instead of letting them sit on one of my hard drives forever. There’s more in there I’ve forgotten than I remember. My incompetence aside, there are a few cases where we’re specifically reluctant to release our assets. It’s not the case for everything, and we likely could be persuaded to release some things, but it’s an ongoing concern for us that our films contain a lot of new content and don’t come across as footage of a 15-year-old video game. We want everything we make for the films to look and feel new, and to release that content, if you could see all the same stuff outside of our films, there’s a risk it could detract from that experience. I don’t feel that way about everything, but I do have mixed feelings. And because I’m not working on these films alone, even if the material in question is something I made on my own, if it’s I made it specifically for one of the films then I wouldn’t feel comfortable releasing it without getting the other guys’ approval first. And even though I think they’d probably say yes for some of it, I haven’t done so because there isn’t anything I’m particularly motivated to release. I made all this stuff for the films, not as mods. That goes for a lot of my own stuff as well. Some assets I have made with several uses in mind, such as my head resource, which end up being used in the films but weren’t made with that specific intent. When tha does come to mind, I do set it aside for release. But most of the time, I’m in one of two mindsets on this. Film, or mod. I don’t usually think of doing two things. If there’s anything from our films that you’d like to see released as a mod, the most proactive thing you can do is let us know. We can only say no on a case by case basis and we have to know what in particular people want released. It’s not like we’re hoarding all our files, but even though we know that generally there’s probably stuff from our films that people would want, we aren’t inclined to upload anything in particular without some nudging first. We gotta know what you want then and you gotta make us let it go. So if you make a mod request for it, then we can address the matter. I couldn’t end this post without a little promotion. If you want to talk about the movies to us directly, you can join our new discord. And if you’re reading this but you haven’t seen any of our KOTOR movies, the best place to start is with the Episode I: A Familiar Path Special Edition.

0 pointsAfter months of trying to figure out why a set of scripts didn't fire, I realized they were not included in the installer... Hours of work and anguish over nothing... Ah the inanities of modding (and poor detail orientation). Anyways putting some effort towards LME again.
