Also, I'm taking this opportunity to ask to the forums too. Will it be possible to change that grey area in the center of Taris' city-walk to some kind of a mini-pool with water model/textures in it?     So...trying to find this out as I can't seem to find if it has been answered anywhere directly. Is the DLC for the switch version THE MOD? or has Aspyr done the same work that you all did? Btw, as I say every few years YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
  3. Hey, thanks for coming in to check this out! I've been messing around with feat.2da to get more familiar with KoTOR Tool and noticed that when I made all of the feats selectable for every class, Zalbaar was able to pick up the armor feats (even though it does nothing for him). That prompted me to mess around with classes.2da and create my own class to see if I could give Zalbaar a separate feat list - but I am not able to choose the custom class I made whenever I edit Zalbaar's UTC file. All I did was add in a new row to classes.2da and copy everything from the Scout row to the new row, but are there any extra steps I need to take in order to have the class selectable in the UTC files if it's even possible to give party members custom classes?
  4. This was something that popped up in the Pazaak Posting group on Facebook the other day. Theoretically, can locations from Kotor 1 (say Marka Ragnos' and Tulak Horde's tombs as was the example there) be ported over and played in Kotor 2?
  5. Greetings, fellow Jedi! I am here to ask and to report; does bump-map breaks the animation of certain level geometry? It does occur with the m02ac_02b\Geometry\Box273 mesh on my end. Screenshot: Update: It does working now. I had just recompiled the m02ac_02b.mdl/mdx again and strangely enough it does working on another attempt. But still I don't know what's causing the animation to stop with the aforementioned screenshot. For example; I would like to know exactly what's the name of the area model where I am at right now without having to poke through every Dantooine area models [m13aa_xx] inside the extracted models.bif. 😁 Screenshot: Many thanks for considering this!
  7. Greetings fellow Jedi; hope you all doing fine! I had trouble with vanilla mask don't show-up on a custom NPC's that use player's head as their head. I have checked the waypoint of the equipped headgear on its .utc and it's pointed right. And then I have checked whether or not Shem's "Invisible Headgear" installed on my 'Override' folder and in fact it is not. Quite sure I'm having a dead-end here. 🙃 I'd very much appreciate any constructive feedback nor answers to this. In the meantime, thanks for your time! With respect and all the best, -eb Edit: The problem has been solved, and it is my bad actually! I re-overwrite-delete-all all the vanilla masks models again, re-installing the "Vanilla Masks Overhaul" and then everything works as it intended now! Very sorry for the inconvenience. Appreciate the time from all the thoughts been made!
  8. Someone on the KOTOR reddit said that porting was allowed now, is that true? because I didn't hear anything about that.
  9. I recently had somebody reach out to me asking if I had a copy of an old Mod, which I do (I think... :-P ), and if I could send it to them. I've already looked in several places (including the gamefront Archive and Nexus) and cannot find a copy of it anywhere, including from where I originally found it. I'm pretty sure that the author is a current member of this site, but hasn't logged into DS in over a year. Since I'm a little unclear on the exact "rules", thought I'd ask the community - what are the rules of sharing and/or sending a copy of other's mods as long as I am NOT taking any credit or ownership of said mod? Thank you!
  10. I am looking for answers to these 3 questions: 1. I am looking for a tutorial in how to create and implement custom armbands into the game (TSL preferred not a big deal if for KOTOR) 2. Is there an NW plugin for a later version of 3ds Max? I may be getting a temp license now that I'm in official "Student" status again, but the NW Max Plug in download specifically says 3ds version 8 or lower and this site is only for the newest release (3ds Max 2015 or 2016)... and Gmax has been a little glitchy for me lately. Either that, or I don't have any idea what I'm doing... which is likely (if not certain) 3. I'm stuck again in KOTOR... this time I am in a fight with an NPC in which there is a glitch in that they cannot lose any HP, so I can't defeat them and move on. Weird, random glitch. (took me about 10 minutes or so the first time to realize that they couldn't possibly be that much of a bad-ass...) I've tried deleting all of this character's DLG & UTC files out of override, hoping... no change. - I do have a save point from not too far before this point, but I was hoping to just FIX it cuz I don't need the item that badly... Also, what is the air-speed velocity of an un-laden swallow?
