  1. No worries. Most of this comes out at the end of the game which is maybe why you don't remember it. If you think you've got a better basis for a new story, go for it.
  2. So still curious, I did a bit of further checking. Here's what Kreia has to say: "And its empire, the true Sith Empire, rules elsewhere. And Revan knew the true war was not against the Republic. It waits for us beyond the Outer Rim. And he has gone to fight it in his own way". I think the loadscreens are more of a general guide than anything to be relied on with accuracy. Further, those loadscreens also operate on the same knowledge that the PC has. To the galaxy at-large, the true Sith appear dead. That doesn't mean they actually are, even if that was probably the intent of the K1 devs. Clearly, K2 retconned this. I'd be wary of what Kreia says. Remember, she manipulates you for the entire game. It's really only at the end that she finally comes clean as to her true motives. Your second point is interesting, but more of a plot hole than anything else. When it comes down to forecasting what unknown enemy Obsidian intended Revan to face, I think it's clear that the True Sith were that enemy. In addition to the dialogue in-game, devs have confirmed this was the case. But at the end of the day it's your mod. You include whatever you like!
  3. Unless I'm very mistaken, Kreia actually does mention a remnant Sith Empire hiding in the Unknown Regions when you talk to her at Malachor.
  4. My first thought: can Disney/JJ come up with just one original idea?
  5. I love how uni thinks it's cute to have 3 research essays all due within 4 days of each other...

    Send help pls

I feel you on this, you have my sympathies. Get it done & declare victory!

I feel ya DP. I'm normally the one who says 'if you just prepare, you have nothing to worry about'. But even for me, this is a bit much lel

Can relate a lot at the moment with the final bit of Master's degree being absolute hell. Keep at it!

  6. Option 1 all the way. IMO it's better to keep the style of the rest of the game.
  7. In the old days when mods used to be pumped out thick and fast my Override folder tended to become quite messy. These days I know exactly what mods are installed and in what order I installed them so I can track any incompatibilities. I have it all filed away in a little green book
  8. It's certainly been a while but I believe I've managed to install these two side-by-side before. IIRC there were some issues with the Appearance 2da file which I fixed manually myself. Other than that, there were no major issues. I am planning to do a major playthrough (my first in a long time!) by the end of the year so if no one else has been able to confirm compatibility, I'd be more than happy to share my results too!
  9. Just quickly off the top of my head, I swear there was a WIP that did that a few years ago. Can't remember if it was on DS though.
  10. After the last two massive disappointments, I was not excited to see this at all. Of course, I still planned to watch it. Using RLM's analogy, it was like an autopsy - I know it's already dead but we gotta see what killed it. That sentiment didn't change when I watched this trailer either. ...until the end. Now, I am VERY interested to see what they've done!
  11. This is without doubt the finest contribution made to Australian criminal law. (/s)

'...if something is likely to happen, there is a good chance that it will happen. It is something that may well happen. You might say ... it may not happen, but there is a good chance that it will. It's likely to happen.'

So I take it the Australian court is indifferent to redundancy in the Australian court?

  12. Not quite sure I get what you're trying to say. When you say '...a whole area of the docks you aren't able to visit...', I assume you're referring to the Droid Warehouse? My point is that you *can* access that area without selling T3 to Kodin. You just need to play the game normally by resolving the Saquesh situation and either aiding/hurting the refugees in the Refugee Sector. Once you've done that, you'll get the Red Eclipse encounter, followed by the Visquis hologram. The rest of the story should proceed normally. Where the player doesn't sell T3 to Kodin (like in your case), T3 will work himself voluntarily into the Droid Warehouse so that he can get the transponder codes; you just need to continue the story like normal.
  13. It's been a while since I've actually played through TSL, but I was under the impression that you didn't have to sell T3? Obviously if you're playing light-sided it wouldn't make much sense to sell your beloved droid. I think you just progress the game normally (attracting the attention of the Exchange) until the Red Eclipse/cutscene with Visquis appears.
  14. Great. Now I can never unsee this, hahaha.
  15. RIP George H.W. Bush. Great man!

  16. Perfect! I thought I was thorough in checking other places but completely skipped over Onderon. Thanks again guys
  17. Just double-checked, it's 410DXN - the exterior. More specifically, it's the area right before entering 411DXN. That's solved this problem for the blue and purple outlines. Thanks! Still no dice on the orange though 😕
  18. Sorry! I just assumed we all knew that it was the entrance to Freedon Nadd's Tomb on Dxun (410DXN?). Thanks! I'll give those a whirl. I had a feeling they were textures reused from elsewhere, but couldn't put my finger on where exactly.
  19. Hi again everyone, been a while since I've posted anything! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the 3 texture highlighted in the image. I've searched and searched for them myself but can't seem to find the elusive buggers. Thanks!
  20. This may seem like a silly question, but in the actual .zip file there's a screenshot showing a re-skinned DS head for Atris. However, it doesn't seem to be included in with all the files? Am I missing something?
  21. Awesome! This is just what this game needs to feel fresh again. Great work as usual.
  22. Rip, that fixed it for me - I was exporting them in stereo. Thanks!
  23. Hi! So I'm trying to replace a few of the force power sound effects with some ones I've downloaded; I made sure they were the same file format being WAV files. However, when I try to use the powers in game, the sounds don't work. From past experience with the voice files, I know that a lot of the WAVs use a junk header for some reason, but trying to replicate that using a HEX editor in my files doesn't seem to be working for me. Does anyone know a way around this/what I am missing? Thanks!
  24. Yeah, I've encountered issues like that before (although mainly in TSL since Obsidian was considerably more lazy with their file-naming).
