Hello DeadlyStream FO4 Modding: Background Fallout 3-NV-4 are my top favorite games alongside TSL and KOTOR This can be a thread to discuss Fallout 3/ New Vegas / Fallout 4, and Skyrim I'll go over my latest fallout 4 modding. My experience Elemental Angel Equipment at Skyrim Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) Z-11E Nano Alloy at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) Example Texture: All of these power armors started as sharpie ink on watercolor paper that I scanned. I did over 200 of those to the point where3 generating a new metal texure like in these armors was quite good. More favorites: (TSL) KOTOR OMEGA: EDGE OF DARKNESS (TSL) TSL Robe and Armor Upgrade

    This part of the Edge Of Darkness mod works with default TSL. Might be interesting for new players, it has 6 interchanging versions of the ZS/JS Skirt Armors. The UTI Items are the same for the six types of textures, so you can patch at any time.

    I was working on this part for years, tinkering and experimenting with models, textures, etc. It's fun to have it around as experimenting with the UVMaps always leads to new components being achieved.

You should always feel comfortable to share your honest thoughts to Modders about their work. And in the future, if you have comments for me, I promise to be sensible and nonpartial in my responses. :)

      If only every modder shared your view on critiscm. Most of the time if I say something about a mod that isn't a blather of mod praising the mod author will usually flip out and accuse me of being rude. At the end of the day, whether I like a mod or not is completely irrelevant and I instead choose to support mod authors regardless of whether I intend to use a mod or not, as I understand how hard you guys work to deliver new content for games and that deserves to be acknowledged.

      Criticism can be very useful at times. But it can also be confusing and or driven solely by opinions which is a problem.

      I don't let it bother me, I think all my work is rubbish anyway! :D

  5. Using GIMP, it asks some question that needs to have the box unchecked. Although GIMP 2.10 knows to orient the option from bottom-left, you're supposed to uncheck the box. As far as why this happens/what it is, not entirely sure. I never needed to know too much about it while using GIMP with KotOR or TSL.
  6. I need another beta tester to play KotOR Omega: Edge Of Darkness 0.9c. It requires an install of KOTOR 2. You will have to copy your Knights Of The Old Republic II folder/reinstall TSL to reverse the process of installing KotOR Omega. If you're interested, send me a PM and I will give you more info.

    The mask here looks great in-game. If you want to replace the wearable Nihilus mask's texture with a reskin, the mod's mask model uses Nihilus' default head texture. If you want to replace the default Nihilus mask item with the wearable one: Change the modded mask's .UTI item tag and/or filename to nihilusmask

  8. To elaborate on Thor's post, this is what it looks like to find them in KOTOR Tool. the GUI Erf section has them, lbl_map401DXN.tga , for example.
  9. AFAIK: Add "CM_GLOW" or "CM_BRIGHT" depending on which one works, in the ENVMAP column in appearance.2da (the envmap column is towards the back) Row 560 for the C_ConDrdL-using droid. This modified texture has transparency applied to the glowing parts only, not on the body/reflective (aka just the eyes) C_CONDRDL.tga So, adding flicker is beyond me. They won't flicker for sure without model edits, isolated eyes, and new uvmapping all across AFAIK Hopefully this texture and this information is helpful!

    I think it's "giveitem a_robe_26" (Darth Malak's Robe) or in the loot-immersion patch "giveitem deluxe". If I'm wrong, forgive me, it's been a while.
  15. I regret to inform the community that the Loot-Immersion Upgrade is in its final build, no further work or updates are planned.

    It is because it is a large mod that I cannot test anymore.

      Its been amazing to see this mod expand and develop over the years, from the Skelton of 90SK Super Content Mod to what it is now. It is one of my favorite big mods outside of contenders such as TSLRCM. The fact that the mod has lots of optional customization and patches goes to show the love and work you have put in to it. No need to justify the ending of your work on it, you have created such a comprehensible mod, which gives me and so many others joy to play with. Thank you 90SK!

    TSL Loot-Immersion Upgrade

    I removed some of the files I suspect were causing your problem. Unfortunately, I cannot work on Loot-Immersion Upgrade as much as I would prefer to, but this new build may solve your issue. If it doesn't please let me know, and thank you for reporting this issue to me. I would love it if it worked perfectly, but it is not quite there yet.

    Try deleting "corpse.utp" from override. If you get the glitch again, post a screenshot here of the contents of the glitched placeable, and I'll track down where its coming from.

    I don't know offhand, but I inspected the UTP Placables in Loot and Immersion Upgrade. ^ These won't interfere with your glitched placeable, but I don't know, it might be a replaced .UTI file that somehow appears elsewhere. If you have specific details about where else the placeable appeared, when it first appeared, where it was appropriately displayed vs. where it was displayed as a glitch, PM me the deets and I'll continue to do research about what exactly is happening there.
  19. The Leviathan uses Ebon Hawk's window texture, on the floor in the hangar. I know the Leviathan's Sith textures are found all over K1 like on Taris and Manann, for the Sith parts. I don't remember, but I know K1's panels are LEH_SCRE02 in Mandalore's outpost, but the entire Dxun probably uses LEH_ textures as well although I don't believe the screen appears in the jungle. Reskinning the Ebon Hawk will probably change bits of Dxun, Malachor, and the Leviathan if you change the windows. Hex editing or texture editing will create ways around this issue. Fair Strides' ModHex program is really good at isolating Module resources, especially default modules. LEH_Scre01 and LEH_Scre02 are the ones to focus on, LEH_Scre03 is the galaxy map image.
  20. It's used on Dxun in Mandalore's Outpost. Hex editing either of the area models to look for a duplicate texture would solve the issue. It's just a matter of deciding which one, and what they look like. To replace the Ebon Hawk model's screens, you need to know what room .mdl of the Ebon Hawk's area uses the LEH_SCRE02 entry, and switch it to something like "L2H_SCRE02" and then make that .TGA and put it in override. Using the "Find" function in a hex editor to look for "LEH_SCRE02" and setting the search to look from "Begin" not "Cursor", and also make sure the search isn't set to "Case Sensitive". Then, you have to take the default LEH_SCRE02.TGA and make it something generic
