  1. I believe you're the first to spot the solar system in there. I think this might be a good opportunity to look at what I did put on that board - using before and after shots. I wanted to stay as close to the original vision of what was on the board so it wasn't a huge change from the original version. First up - the "Solar System" As spotted, that is our Solar System on the board - with the text changed from Roman alphabet to Aurebesh. I thought use an example with a bit more color might make the board pop. Next, we have the "Galaxy" portion The original has another solar system view merely at a different angle. As that angle is usually reserved for galaxy shots, rather than solar system views - I decided I'd switch the focus but keep the same general shape. The next portion is what I'll refer to as "target" Yep, there's a target reticule on the original. What it is targeting? With the lack of detail, who can say? Seeing as this station does handle inbound traffic and track asteroids, that's what it should be targeting. I found a royalty free shot on the web and voila! And for the last, there's my favorite . . . the spinning asteroid. I've decided not to convert this into a GIF for this page but you'll get the idea. The original animation showed a solid asteroid. I had to fiddle around with each frame to make it appear like a hologram. I hope the effect comes out well in game. Malkior, I might need your assistance with something. Expect an email. It also involves Peragus . . .
  2. SIC would better utilized to teach them things if he were to go there.
  3. Though I like all of your current updates - these two above are the ones are the ones that I'm most pleased about. The second especially - as I've made requests on it before elsewhere. Nicely done, sir!
  4. Hey guys, if you're interested in trying out TOR, shoot me a PM. I have a few links that'll get you access and me some in game items. If you're going to play anyway, why not help good ol' M4-78 in the process?

Well, murdering Kaah seems like a good reason to say no...:)

      SPOILERS IN THIS RESPONSE

      1) If he wasn't too busy to leave the chamber, he could've easily overriden those commands to - I was helpless, right?

      2) On the other hands, do you want to remove the generous offer from a maniacal supercomputer that can kill a Jedi Padawan AND his master?

  5. I now have a FEW reasons why I'm missing my desktop computer . . . and only one of them is M4-78 EP.

  6. Eradicator, you've missed the new rule. Amend your previous post with the required information.

    Requests

When I make a request, I go all out! If you've played Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge all the way through, you've certainly met this character. Known variously as Matilda, Sera Degana or Shadow, she's a major character in the mod. If only she didn't speak the same Twi'lek voiceovers all the way through... My absurd request would to have a female voice actress do all the above character's lines in the mod. Absurd not only due to the vast amount of lines the character has but also because the tremendous amount of lip syncing that would have to happen. There are tutorials for lipsyncing on LF so nearly anyone could do that part of it. For example: Custom Lip Synching The Easy Way The tedious part of hunting down every line and then finding someone with the patience to record it - there's the REAL challenge. Do I think this mod will happen? Not at all, quite frankly. However, I've been surprised to have some of my requests fulfilled in the past so it's worth a shot by my asking. Post here if you're willing to take it on as I'd love to hear it happen (in game.) Otherwise, carry on!

  12. When posting an issue, be able to state with your issue the following information (stolen from a wonderful post by Darth InSidious) . . . which I've amended. FOR TSLRCM AND/OR M4-78EP FOR ANY MODS OTHER THAN TSLRCM/M4-78EP! Posting both the questions and the answers is now a requirement for bug posting. Bug-fixing will considered only on the most recent versions of TSLRCM and/or M4-78 EP. The team asks you to post both the questions and the answers (with the answer following the questions) because the questions may be updated from time to time. Be prepared to provide a screenshot of your issue upon request. Thank you for your continued patronage. Justification from Official Forum Rules Keep the following in mind regarding mods from the official forum rules (specifically Rule 8, Section 7) Hyperlinks If you don't know how to hyperlink your posts for the additional mods you use, here's a quick an easy guide. If you do it properly, you'll see your links in format as shown in the Mod Compatibility List for TSLRCM 1.8.5, which enables us to know who made your mod, what mod it was, and which version of that mod you are attempting to use. One more thing . . . This is important: even if you've posted the questions and answers to get problem solved, that may not necessarily be the end of it. If you post to the thread again with a different problem, and one of more of the answers have changed, you must be post the whole set and questions and answers again. I would have thought this was obvious but . . . let's just make things simpler for those you wish to help you. One last thing . . . Those posting a glitch and then following it up with something along the lines of "Fixed it!" - and then NOT explaining how you've done so - actually does no one any good. If you fix a problem, explain what you've done to fix the problem. This is also for your benefit. (For example, in case your fix screws something else up.) . . . And this. Members that have been around here for a while, should quote this next line and direct folks having issues to this very post. Only one post of this per bug thread - and only if they haven't provided the information. If they still don't follow your kind suggestion, report them to Staff.
  13. Dylan, this mod doesn't cut out the in-game rendered portion of the scene. It only affects the pre-rendered movies that bookend what Zbyl2 recreated in the engine. Trust me - you'll lose nothing of what you love and you'll gain some quality.
  14. Can we see a screen shot over your Override folder then?
  15. Have at it! In addition, I suggest also posting in Holowan Labs on Lucasforums about it too.
  16. I'm bringing my desktop tower to the shop to have it looked at. Looks like my fan might be on the way out. (Yes, I tried the usual things first.) I'll mostly be incommunicado for the time being.

  17. Opening portion of M4-78 EP Modcast: Complete

  18. Zbyl said to me in PMs . . . Sounds like permission to me! Who's up for splitting the files, naming them to what's used in TSLRCM, and uploading them here?
  19. If TSLRCM installer size is an issue, it should be a separate release. I've e-mailed Zbyl2 a request for such a thing.
  20. The cutscene was recreated with all movements to be just like the original BIK. The music piece playing in the scene was recreated (by PastramiX if I'm not mistaken) and sounded just like the BIK. The voice lines by Kreia are in game so that wasn't the issue either. What is missing are the sound effects. Kreia's scream/moans during the assault, the punches levelled by Sion, and the sound of the lightsaber rattling across the Trayus Core's flagstones aren't available in game. Trying to sync the cutscene with one long audio file was apparently awkward and had timing issues.
  21. I see where Kainzorus Prime is going with this. It seems unlikely you've asked permission to use that file - especially seeing as the creator of that Dooku skin just asked you to provide a link. If you don't get permission to use that skin, you will have to create your own skin from scratch. A gentle warning: Using materials from another modder in your own upload - without permission - will cause your submission to be yanked down from here and have the discussion thread locked. Let's avoid that unpleasantness altogether.
  22. I suppose a good work around for this one would be to download Fallen Guardian's Dustil Restoration 1.0.
  23. An issue I had with the droids in the Central Zone were their walking sounds. When your character is not engaged in conversation, the droids making a racket isn't much of an issue. (Heck, it adds atmosphere to the place!) However, when I want to hear a conversation and all I can hear is mechanical clomping, that's an issue for me. For my own usage, I plan to lower the volume of the droids "footsteps" but I'll have to to identify the sound files to do it. Hopefully, one of you fine forum users can assist me in identify the appropriate files. The culprits in question . . .
