  1. It's interesting to hear what Star Wars music sounds like with a minor to major (or the reverse) key change:

It changes sad music to happy. It changed happy music to sad. Imagine the possibilities for KOTOR music . . .

  2. Showing the results of a before and after in the game might be helpful. If you do so, I recommend using screenshots from a cutscene that shows off both versions of the head close up to the camera.
  3. CrashBandiTeam, what exactly do mean by your last post? We may be having an issue of translation here. As for the DVD, just Google "prima kotor dvd guide" and you can probably find a YouTube link.
  4. The part of the video with the Ravager was only included on a limited edition version of the Prima Guide book that came with a DVD. (That's why there's text commentary beneath that part of the video.) I have that guide book and DVD but it's currently in storage.
  5. I like mine better - uploaded only 10 years ago.
  6. The next post reporting a bug and not following the rules that Kexikus linked to will be removed. The questions and answers are mandatory.

    Yathura

    Yuthura looks nice!
  8. Since one wouldn't necessarily want to repeat the music already heard dozens of time in the game, I'll ask this question since it's been a while since this thread was posted in: If one were to choose copyright-free or royalty-free music for this planet, what would you choose? For the sake of this discussion, it would have to be copyright-free or royalty-free music. (Links to music that don't qualify will be removed, if not the entire post.)
  9. My point by the way isn't the fact that Slavic accents should be ignored. If you found a VO actor that spoke with such an accent that suited your needs, great! My point was that just one character - I assume you're talking about Juhani - doesn't make it a tradition. (She also didn't speak as if was she just learning the language.) However, enough of my tangent.
  10. Then what about Aric Jorgan in SWTOR? And this Imperial Cathar on Makeb? And this Cathar on Taris? (skip to 21:11)
  11. Respected? I wouldn't go that far. ROFL
  12. If folks would like to participate and don't have MOTS, I may have an opportunity for you too. Send me a sample of you saying the following things and perhaps you'll be featured in the upcoming tutorial. If you want to be a Rebel Pilot in the featured samples, say the following things: - Red Five, standing by! - We're starting our attack run. - R2, see if you can't lock it down back there. If you wish to be a Stormtrooper, say the following things: - There's one! Set for stun. - [As if you been Jedi Mind Tricked] These aren't the droids we're looking for. - [Friendly. You're saying it with a smile on your face to someone you actually like] Move along. Move along! Choose only one part and send the WAV or MP3s in a RAR or 7Zip package. Record your lines in a room without echoes or outside aural interference. Do not add filters as adding filters is this entire point of the tutorial. When I have received the samples I need, I will update this post saying the parts are filled.
  13. I plan to redo the Stormtroooper Filter tutorial from that very site. I have the other WAV file needed. I'm just pre-planning all of this until I get my computer all fixed up.
  14. New blog, strange topic. (If you have MOTS, it's a must see.)

If you don't have MOTS, you might participate in recording some lines.

  15. Hey there! You will be most likely be completely lost in you don't do Jedi Knight mods. I need to get a particular wave from Mysteries of the Sith, the add-on pack from Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II. The WAV file is named "rc61121.wav" and it can be found in the MOTS' JKMsndLO.goo. Thanks!
  16. Perhaps just having a checklist would be easier.
  17. I'll give you an example that's in KOTOR2 but will give you a general idea of what I'm talking about. Picture the monitors in the cockpit of Ebon Hawk that surround the galaxy map. Yes, you may see those same monitors throughout the Ebon Hawk but it goes even further than that. For example, when you see cutscenes with Admiral Onasi on his ship, those monitors are the ones you'll see behind him. What affects one place may affect others. Try not to duplicate effort is where I'm going with this.
  18. I understood nearly none of that, yet it was in English. I may getan SSD down the line but I've ordered the part to bring the computer to what I'll call minimum. I may return to this thread (or open a new one) to ask more questions about SSD's down the line but it won't be for at least a few months.
  19. The parts for the computer were just ordered. Now the wait begins.

  20. VP: Perhaps you could point out a few so Thunder gets what I'm getting at?
