I really like what you did with the Restoration Zone! Glad you took all of the "peanut butter" off of the Czerka structures. It looks so much nicer now.

Peragus looks dark and spooky. I like what you're doing with the GUI! Keep it up.

Okay, so pretty much, let's say we'll use Dantooine; pick two NPCs that you would replace. Let's see we use the Enclave Exterior, and replace two of the mercenaries in the mercenary camp. So go into Kotor Tool, find their UTC files, and manually change their appearances to that of the Twin Suns under the 'Appearances' tab. Then plop them in override. Of course you'd probably have to remove the armor, but that's just an example. Nice far shot, by the way.

What I would do, is go into a module with good lighting, and change the appearances of two NPCs into that of the Twin Suns. That way you won't have to reload the cutscene again and again, and you'd simply be able to walk up to the NPC and look at the texture in first-person view. And oh wow, that looks great!

Well he said he was only working on the head skins for now. I think they look great so far. Looking forward to when they're finalized. Rock on brother.

Come to think of it, I have a confession to make as well. I'm a lazy modder. I used to have a passion for these games that bordered on obsession. When I first began modding, way back in 2009 (before I joined the community), I started working on the infamous prison ship mod. After a few months I had it polished and almost complete, and I teased everyone with only a few screenies by the time I finally joined LucasForums. And then the first of a long series of bad luck bestowed upon me. I lost all my files on my computer. I was infuriated. I started it back up and after a few months it was all lost again. I started it up again and also started working on my other projects as well. And then my KOTORs decided to stop working and I had to get a new computer. On the new one the games still wouldn't work for a good few weeks. Ever since then, for over 4 years, my drive for modding has been deteriorating. I start work on a project, and then after a while I run into a bug. Instead of bothering to fix it, I move on to one of my other projects or shovel the problem onto someone else (like poor Fair Strides here). So instead of focusing on one project at a time and possibly having 3 or 4 mods released by now, I have about 8 projects which are a quarter-finished. In 2 years I'm going to be in college and I won't have as much time to work on these mods as I do now. Anywho, my reasoning is almost exactly like Fair Strides's. Also, if anyone's going to start up the Sleheyron Project for a third incarnation, I'd be more than willing to lend my abilities to it.

He doesn't beat around the bush. He's blunt and straight-to-the-point. That's the SH I know. I of course have doubts whether or not disbeliever is still working on it at all. Then again, it might be an on-and-off thing.

That is certainly an interesting idea! I don't think there would be enough words for some of the dialogue I'll be writing though. I could throw in a few jabs at it, most definitely. Anyways, since it has been my birthday week, I've taken a bit of a break from modding to take a rest. And relax. But I've still been working on some small things. Such as this. One thing that really bugged me in KotOR was that some of the crystals shared the same icons. While I was digging in the game files, I came across four textures that were unused. There was also an unused Red crystal texture. So I put the original Red crystal texture for the Phond crystal, gave the Red crystal its unused texture, and then replaced the other crystals with the other unused textures. The only one that was made from scratch was the Firkrann texture.

That mod is anathema.

Alright folks. I've returned with some new screenies, this time for the Battle of Dxun. I'd like to give a massive thanks to Fair Strides, for doing essentially all of the scripting and cameras, and without him, they wouldn't have come out nearly half as good. So everyone give him some praise! I also have some screenies of tha Mandalorian Base on Yavin IV for those of you who haven't seen it here.

Resolution: Get back into shape and stay dedicated to my mods. Game I plan to play: Assassin's Creed IV, Forza 5, Battlefield 4.

Well, my thread on LF has become a bit of a mess, particularly the very first post, so I might as well get everyone up-to-speed here. Alright, I've scrapped the Ajunta Pall recruitment, and the Korriban restoration. Instead, I will incorporate elements of both mods into Korriban Expansion. I've also scrapped the skin pack, which will be incorporated into LKIM 2.0. I've also gotten rid of the Balak V'stok recruitment, mainly because it would cause problems with TSLRCM and frankly I don't want to deal with the hassle. Nothing from it will be incorporated into any mod, except maybe Balak himself. Many of the features of the Republic Cruiser As Ship are being integrated into the Recruit Dak Drexl mod, so there isn't really a point to keep it going. And finally, I scrapped Reign of Revan. I did absolutely no progress on it, and looking back, the (very old) plotline I had for it was absolutely horrendous. Someone else could take the reigns for that mod. Hey, no problem. I don't have many questions about it considering I beta tested it, but I've really been wondering about that one, haha. And sweet. I can't wait to hear it. Maybe there could be more podcasts in the future with modders such as me or Fallen Guardian or whomever else and we could answer questions about our projects. Or maybe even a SOTE podcast with Har, Tyren, and I.
